Abstract

The phenomenon of code switching and code mixing has become commonplace in everyday life. Code switching is a situation where someone uses different language changes in communicating. Meanwhile, code mixing is a situation where someone mixes two or more languages ​​in communicating. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of code switching and code mixing contained in the song Letting Go. The method used is qualitative by collecting data and the results are presented descriptively. This study uses a sociolinguistic study approach. The results of the research show that there is a form of code switching and code mixing in the song. The form of code switching contained in the lyrics of the song Letting Go is in the form of intersentential switching. This form of code switching occurs between clauses or sentence boundaries, where language switching occurs at sentence boundaries in different languages, namely from Mandarin to English or vice versa. Then, the form of code mixing contained in this study is in the form of inserting elements in the form of repetition of words.

Abstract

The rise of disinformation in the midst of the development of new media is the impact of the lack of digital literacy of the community, especially active users of users. Ahead of the biggest political contestation in Indonesia, namely the 2024 election (Pemilu 2024), the government and society are again faced with the threat of hoaxes related to social, political and governance issues. The number of novice voters that will dominate is in fact related to the potential for more massive spread of hoaxes in cyberspace. The lack of digital literacy insights from first-time voters familiar with the internet and new media complicates efforts to disinfect and prevent disinformation. To anticipate the recurrence of the hoax phenomenon from the 2019 election, this study examines the mitigation of the spread of disinformation by identifying the types of content circulating and presenting evidence on the turnbackhoax.id portal initiated by the Indonesian anti-hoax movement. This descriptive qualitative research uses data from the turnbackhoax.id portal published during June 2023. The results explain how to make people more careful in reading information, verifying the truth of news and actively participating in providing accurate news sources and providing it in the portal in order for more internet users can verify the truth of the news.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berbasis digital dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatan materi ajar dan kreativitas guru diperlukan sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk pelatihan pembuatan materi ajar melalui animasi Renderforest berbasis literasi digital bagi guru SMA di Cilegon, Banten. Pelatihan pembuatan materi ajar berbasis literasi digital ini dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi saat ini seperti Renderforest yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan daya baca siswa khususnya di lingkungan pendidikan. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui metode demonstrasi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan para guru MA Al-Khairiyah Pabuaran sebanyak 13 orang. Hasil Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dapat dilihat melalui angket evaluasi yang meliputi indikator penilaian berupa pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta sebesar 100%, mengembangkan materi ajar berbasis literasi digital sebesar 100%, pembuatan materi ajar dengan melalui animasi Renderforest berbasis literasi digital secara mandiri sebesar 100%, serta penggunaan aplikasi Renderforest dalam menyusun materi ajar berbasis literasi digital di kelas sebesar 92%. Pembuatan bahan ajar melalui animasi Renderforest yang inovatif dan kreatif yang dilakukan oleh guru dapat menarik siswa dalam proses belajar sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.Abstract: The use of digital-based information and communication technology can be utilized in making teaching materials and teacher creativity is needed so that learning objectives can be achieved. This community service aims to provide training in making teaching materials through digital literacy-based Renderforest animation for high school teachers in Cilegon, Banten. This training in making digital literacy-based teaching materials can utilize current information technology such as Renderforest which is used to increase student reading power, especially in the educational environment. This service was carried out through the demonstration method. This activity involved 13 MA Al-Khairiyah Pabuaran teachers. The results of this Community Service can be seen through an evaluation questionnaire which includes assessment indicators in the form of knowledge and understanding of participants by 100%, developing digital literacy-based teaching materials by 100%, making teaching materials through digital literacy-based Renderforest animation independently by 100%, and using the Renderforest application in preparing digital literacy-based teaching materials in class by 92%. Making teaching materials through innovative and creative Renderforest animations carried out by teachers can attract students in the learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the satire on “Pragiwaksono” stand-up comedy by Pandji Pragiwaksono. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques, namely describing the satire on “Pragiwaksono” stand-up comedy by Pandji Pragiwaksono. The results of the research can be seen that there are 431 data of satirical purposes which are divided into 93 data of correcting purposes (21,57%), 46 data of triggering anger purposes (10,67%), 109 data of quipping purposes (25,30%), 104 data of criticizing purposes (24,13%), and 79 data of pursuing something, person, institution, or event purposes (18,33%). There area 346 data of satirical type which are divided into 152 data of direct satire type (43,93%), 41 data of parody type (11,86%), 27 data of irony type (7,81%), 103 data of sarcasm type (29,76%), and 23 data of exaggeration type (6,64%). There are 149 data forms of satire which are divided into 144 data of satirical clauses/sentenes (96,64%) and 5 data of satirical words/phrases (3,36%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna kontekstual diksi iklan produk kecantikan di TikTok dan implikasinya terhadap memaknai informasi teks iklan kelas VIII SMP secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis isi, yaitu menganalisis dokumen berupa data diksi iklan khususnya produk kecantikan di TikTok berdasarkan makna kontekstual dan pemakaian diksi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa data yang ditemukan dalam diksi iklan produk kecantikan di TikTok tahun 2023-2024, yaitu sebanyak 96 data makna kontekstual dengan 96 data wujud konteks dan 192 data pemakaian diksi. Pada 96 data wujud konteks, terbagi menjadi, 4 data konteks orangan (4%), 7 data konteks situasi (7%), 6 data konteks tujuan (6%), 24 data konteks formal/tidaknya pembicaraan (25%), 6 data konteks suasana hati pembicara/pendengar (6%), 4 data konteks waktu (4%), 3 data konteks tempat (4%), 26 data konteks objek atau bidang pemakaian (27%), 4 data konteks kelengkapan alat bicara/dengar pada pembicara/pendengar (4%), 4 data konteks kebahasaan (4%), 2 data konteks bahasa (2%), 4 data konteks kalimat (4%), dan 2 data konteks wacana (2%). Selanjutnya, pada 192 data pemakaian diksi, terbagi menjadi, 8 data kata umum (4%), 88 data kata khusus (46%), 23 data kata konkret (12%), dan 73 data kata abstrak (38%). Hasil penelitian ini selanjutnya dapat diimplikasikan menjadi alternatif dari materi teks iklan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII fase D pada elemen menyimak dengan pembelajaran memaknai informasi teks iklan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the written language difficulties experienced by asynchronous gifted children in lower grades with comorbid Learning Disabilities (LD). The results show that the imbalance between high intellectual potential and technical barriers affects children's academic performance, motivation to learn and self-confidence. These barriers include difficulties in letter discrimination, fine motor coordination and logical organization, which often lead to frustration and psychological distress. A special approach is needed to address these challenges, including occupational therapy, digital assistive technology such as voice-to-text software, and adaptive learning strategies. The research also highlights the importance of collaboration between teachers, parents and therapists in creating an inclusive learning environment. The findings provide a foundation for more adaptive educational policies to support asynchronously gifted children's optimal academic, emotional and social potential

Abstract

Research This study aims to analyze students' speaking skills through a role-playing learning model assisted by animated video media. This study is experimental quantitative research with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study is all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Benjina, but the selected research sample is class VII-B students with a total of 28 people, and the sampling technique used is non-probability sampling. Data collection in this study is through observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential statistical analysis and the Paired Sample T-Test test assisted by the IBM SPSS application to test hypotheses. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it was concluded that there was an influence of the role-playing learning model assisted by animation video media on students' speaking skills. This is evidenced by obtaining an average score of 62.46 for the pre-test and an average score for the post-test of 79.89 which means an average increase of 17.43. These findings are also expected to influence education policies to introduce more varied learning methods, especially in schools located in remote areas.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Teknologi dalam bidang pendidikan dimanfaatkan oleh guru sebagai media untuk membuat materi ajar menjadi lebih menarik dan efektif sehingga dapat menarik perhatian siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Namun pada kenyataannya, guru belum memanfaatkan teknologi dalam membuat media pembelajaran secara optimal karena belum memiliki kemampuan untuk mengembangkan bahan pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan materi ajar ejaan berbasis aplikasi Cerbasia menggunakan iSpring suite 10 pada siswa kelas VII. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data diperoleh melalui obervasi, wawancara, dan angket. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif.  Pengujian kelayakan produk diuji oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan tanggapan guru bahasa Indonesia, serta tanggapan peserta didik kelas VII SMP Diponegoro 1 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini berupa materi ajar ejaan berbasis aplikasi Cerbasia menggunakan iSpring Suite 10 pada siswa kelas VII yang dapat diakses menggunakan gawai atau perangkat komputer yang terhubung dengan internet. Kelayakan produk materi ajar ejaan berbasis aplikasi Cerbasia menggunakan iSpring Suite 10 pada siswa kelas VII termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil penilaian ahli materi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,5. Sementara itu, penilaian ahli media mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,5. Selanjutnya, aspek yang diperoleh dari uji coba kelayakan guru bahasa Indonesia mendapatkan skor 5. Serta uji coba kelompok kecil oleh peserta didik mendapatkan skor rata-rata 9,7. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa materi ajar ejaan berbasis aplikasi Cerbasia menggunakan iSpring Suite 10 pada siswa kelas VII sangat layak untuk proses pembelajaran.KATA KUNCI: Materi Ajar; Ejaan; iSpring Suite 10 > DEVELOPMENT OF SPELLING TEACHING MATERIAL BASED ON CERBASIA APLLICATION USING ISPRING SUITE 10 ABSTRACT: Technology in the field of education is utilized by teachers as a tool to make teaching materials more engaging and effective to capture students' attention throughout the learning process. However, in reality, teachers have not fully maximized the use of technology in creating optimal learning media due to lacking the ability to develop TIK-based learning materials. This research aims to develop spelling teaching materials based on the Cerbasia application using iSpring Suite 10 for seventh-grade students. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, utilizing the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The data are collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Data processing techniques encompassed both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Product feasibility testing involved subject matter experts, media experts, Indonesian language teachers, and feedback from seventh-grade students at SMP Diponegoro 1 Jakarta. The research yields spelling teaching materials based on the Cerbasia application using iSpring Suite 10 for seventh-grade students, accessible via devices or computers connected to the internet. The product's feasibility assessment falls into the category of excellent. Subject matter expert evaluations obtained an average score of 4.5, while media expert assessments yielded an average score of 4.5. Furthermore, the evaluation by Indonesian language teachers scored 5, and the small-group trial by students received an average score of 9.7. Based on these assessments, it can be concluded that the spelling teaching materials based on the Cerbasia application using iSpring Suite 10 for seventh-grade students are highly suitable for the learning process.KEYWORDS: Teaching Materials; Spelling; iSpring Suite 10

Abstract

The learning process demands proficiency in core language skills listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Among these, writing is essential and must align with current Enhanced Spelling Guidelines (Ejaan yang Disempurnakan) to prevent miscommunication. However, students often face challenges in writing, especially beginners, due to a lack of interest in reading and the complexity of textbook language, which hinders idea development. Accessible and engaging reading materials are crucial to foster student interest and creativity. Misconceptions that adherence to proper spelling rules is unnecessary are particularly problematic for students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education program, where accurate and appropriate writing is fundamental, including in fiction. Writing proficiency plays a vital role in courses such as Popular Writing Skills. This study aims to enhance students’ ability to write morally themed poetry through project-based learning. Employing a Research and Development approach with the ADDIE model, data were gathered via observation, questionnaires, and students’ poetry writing outcomes, and analyzed using expert and peer assessments. The findings indicate that project-based learning significantly improves the poetry writing skills of first-year students, positively influencing their writing quality and engagement, particularly in integrating moral values into their creative work.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the representation of academic writing skills among students of the Studi Independen Bersertifikat (SIB) E-Commerce through an analysis of the transitivity system in their final reports. The analysis focuses on the types of processes present in the reports, including material, mental, relational (attributive and identifying), verbal, existential, and behavioral processes. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive research design. The data source consists of academic texts in the form of final reports written by ten students or participants of SIB E-Commerce from batch 1 to batch 3 (2021—2023). The findings indicate that material processes are the most dominantly used by the students, followed by relational attributive, relational identifying, and mental processes. Meanwhile, the use of existential and verbal processes is relatively limited, and behavioral processes are absent. The dominance of material processes suggests that students represent their experiences by describing physical activities or concrete actions undertaken during the program. This reflects the students’ tendency to narrate their knowledge and practical experiences through concrete descriptions of activities.
