Abstract

The purpose of the study was to develop a PQ4R learning strategy for learning to write short stories for junior high school students in Jakarta. The method used R and D through the ADDIE model. Data were taken using observation, learning to write results and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out through expert and peer assessment. The results of the study concluded that in the sixth step, discussion activities were added to discuss the results of short story writing and the peer assessment process. This strategy also had a positive impact on writing enthusiasm, increasing reading comprehension through reading activities in the third step. Students were also able to collaborate in developing short story writing. So, this research had implications for understanding the development of learning strategies that must be designed according to the character and needs of students and the learning objectives to be achieved. This model can be used in short story writing in class.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian is never separated from language skills which consist of four components. The four language components are listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills and writing skills. This study aims to see the effect of Canva media through discord on the ability to write short stories of students in class XI SMAN 35 Jakarta. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMAN 35 Jakarta, and the sample in this study was class XI IPS 2 SMAN 35 Jakarta. Sampling was done by simple random sampling. The research method used in this research is quantitative research experimentation. The type of experiment used is true experimentation with one group pretest and posttest design research design. The data in this study used statistical calculations by calculating averages, standard deviations, variances, correlations, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The result can be seen that the value sig = 0.05, tcount 9.01632 and ttable17207. So H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted which means there is a significant influence on the policy-based canva media on the short story writing ability of students of class XI SMAN 35 Jakarta. Abstract

The advancement of science impacts learning innovations that fulfill the requirements for resolving issues in the field of education. The goal of this project is to find instructional resources for writing short stories that are appropriate for class IX students. This research used a descriptive qualitative methodology to collect data using interviews and questionnaires. The findings indicated that there were constraints and a lack of teaching resources for class IX students at SMP Negeri 24 Kerinci to write short stories. The final results indicate that creative teaching tools based on the Cerpengram technique are required to facilitate comprehension of the subject matter, particularly short story writing abilities. According to the requirements analysis, 100% of students and instructors demand novel teaching resources based on the Cerpengram technique that have been produced in the form of e-modules.

Abstract

Belajar bahasa karena ada sesuatu yang dikehendaki. Satu diantaranya tujuan nya untuk memperoleh pengetahuan. Apabila ada sesuatu berbahasa Indonesia yang membawa pengetahuan baru, maka bahasa Indonesia akan menarik dipelajari. Dibutuhkan sesuatu berbahasa Indonesia yang membawa pengetahuan agar masyarakat Internasional tertarik mempelajari bahasa Indonesia. Seiring budaya literasi beralih dari cetak ke digital, from print to screen sebagai penanda era digital, dunia pendidikan melalui transfer pengetahuan di sekolah juga saatnya berupa pembelajaran abad ke-21. Suatu pembelajaran yang mengakrabkan pembelajar untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan dengan perantara teknologi. Literasi produktif berbasis IT mutlak dibutuhkan bagi guru. Perpaduan keterampilan literasi dan penggunaan IT akan membantu guru menghasilkan inovasi berupa aplikasi pembelajaran pembawa pengetahuan berbahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan apa, mengapa, dan bagaimana literasi produktif berbasis IT. Literasi produktif dimaknai sebagai aktivitas memproduksi huruf melalui aktivitas menulis untuk memberikan keterpahaman-pengetahuan. Literasi produktif berbasis IT dimaksudkan untuk merevolusi mental guru dari penerima pengetahuan menjadi pemproduksi pengetahuan berbahasa Indonesia di era digital. Wujud gerakan untuk menggiatkan literasi produktif berbasis IT bagi guru antara lain, Sagusatab (satu guru satu tablet), Sagusamik (satu guru satu komik), Sagusablog (satu guru satu blog), Sagusanov (satu guru satu inovasi), Sagusaku (satu guru satu buku), dan Sagusakti (satu guru satu KTI)

Abstract

Literasi digital memanfaatkan gawai sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan daya baca masyarakat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya baca masyarakat melalui literasi digital menggunakan teknik pembacaan sepintas bagi remaja masjid di Kelurahan Bahagia Kecamatan Babelan Bekasi. Berdasarkan hasil survei dan wawancara kepada lurah di wilayah tersebut bahwa perlu peningkatan literasi yang diterapkan kepada masyarakat melalui literasi digital dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi saat ini. Metode demonstrasi dilakukan dengan cara peragaan dan penjelasan tata cara mengerjakan sesuatu melalui contoh maupun percobaan yang didemonstrasikan. Remaja masjid diwajibkan membawa gawai dan peralatan lain yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu, hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan remaja masjid di Kelurahan Bahagia Kecamatan Babelan Bekasi dalam literasi digital. Literasi digital menggunakan teknik pembacaan sepintas diharapkan akan meningkatkan daya baca masyarakat.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi bertemakan lingkungan sosial di kelas V sekolah dasar. Menulis sebagai salah satu wujud penggunaan bahasa dengan bermediakan bahasa tulis. Untuk itu, belajar menulis suatu belajar berkomunikasi dengan menggunakan bahasa tulis, sehingga menulis suatu kemampuan seseorang menuangkan hasil pikirannya menjadi suatu ungkapan dan perasaan dituangkan dalam bentuk tulisan. Teks deskripsi sebagai suatu untuk menggambarkan, melukiskan dan mendeskripsikan objek dengan kata-kata. Lingkugan sosial sebagai suatu faktor individu (peseta didik) dalam menuangkan gagasan atau ide kedalam bentuk tulisan. Menulis teks deskripsi bertemakan lingkungan sosial dipandang sebagai pembelajaran berbahasa diajarkan dan dilatihkan untuk menghasilkan bahasa tulis, sehingga pembelajaran menulis menjadi penambahan pengetahuan, pembentukan sikap dan pengembangan keterampilan pada aktivitas ruang maupun waktu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan sistematika literature review. Sebanyak 25 jurnal direview, dari empat database dicari untuk pembelajaran menulis di sekolah dasar, pembelajaran bahasa berbasis genre teks, menulis teks deskripsi, lingkungan sosial dan model pembelajaran. Hasil review ini akan memberikan informasi tentang menulis teks deskripsi bertemakan lingkungan sosial di kelas V sekolah dasar, sehingga dapat mengembangkan pembelajaran apa saja dapat dikembangkan dalam konteks pembelajaran menulis di sekolah dasar.KATA KUNCI: Pembelajaran Menulis; Teks Deskripsi; Lingkungan Sosial; Model Pembelajaran WRITE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT-THEMED DESCRIPTION TEXTS ABSTRACT: Study this aim for explain learning write text description themed social environment in grade V elementary school. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan penulis terhadap fenomena yang muncul mengenai kesantunan berbahasa mahasiswa terhadap dosen. Di era milenial ini, penggunaan media sosial semakin menjadi kebutuhan bagi makhluk sosial. Makhluk sosial menggunakan media sosial WhatsApp sebagai alat komunikasi semi formal. Mahasiswa dan dosen memiliki hubungan komunikasi yang baik, baik di dalam maupun di luar kampus. Komunikasi tersebut selalu dalam batas kesopanan, meskipun diucapkan dalam situasi semi formal. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pola kesantunan yang digunakan mahasiswa dalam berkomunikasi dengan dosen melalui media sosial WhatsApp. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pola kesantunan yang ditemukan dalam komunikasi antara mahasiswa dan dosen di media sosial WhatsApp. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah aplikasi chatting WhatsApp. Data penelitian berupa tuturan mahasiswa yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi dengan dosen melalui WhatsApp. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis isi teks. Pola kesantunan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Leech. Hasil analisis peneliti terhadap chat whatsapp antara mahasiswa dan dosen terdapat 3 maksim yaitu maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kedermawanan/penerimaan dan maksim permufakatan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kurangnya literasi dalam keterampilan membaca sastra pada remaja masjid di Kelurahan Bahagia Babelan, Bekasi menjadi landasan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan secara partisipatif yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca sastra (dongeng) dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran quantum teaching. Kegiatan lokakarya ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dalam menjumlahkan data yang didapat dari pre-test dan post-test dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus dilakukan dalam satu kali pertemuan. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu: (1) metode ceramah dengan memberikan penjelasan mengenai cerita dongeng; (2) metode tanya jawab, peserta melakukan sesi bertanya mengenai literasi membaca; (3) metode simulasi, peserta mencari dan mempraktikan cara membaca dongeng cerita dengan menarik; and (4) metode mandiri, peserta membuat dan mendiskusikan hasil penulisan. Pre-test diberikan sebanyak 21 soal dalam bentuk pilihan berganda kepada 20 orang peserta remaja masjid di Kelurahan Bahagia Babelan untuk memenuhi desk evaluation yang berlangsung selama 3 jam. Pelatihan ini berupaya menerapkan model quantum teaching dengan memberikan pedoman mengenai tujuan, prosedur, dan aturan bersama dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran membaca sastra. Pada awal pre-test memperoleh nilai rata-rata 53,05%, yang mana belum menunjukan hasil yang diharapkan. Pada post-test siklus I peserta mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran quantum teaching dengan nilai rata-rata 72,41%. Kemudian pada post-test siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 85, 70%. Dengan demikian, pada akhir kegiatan program pelatihan ini menunjukan peningkatan hasil keterampilan membaca yang memuaskan. Para peserta remaja masjid di Kelurahan Bahagia Babelan dapat membaca dengan baik dan memahami makna yang terandung dalam bacaan cerita dongeng tersebut.Abstract: The lack of literacy in literary reading skills of mosque teenagers in Bahagia Babelan Village, Bekasi forms the basis for this community service activity carried out in a participatory manner which aims to improve literary reading skills (fairy tales) using the quantum teaching learning method. This workshop activity was carried out using a qualitative and quantitative approach in summing up the data obtained from the pre-test and post-test in two cycles, each cycle was carried out in one meeting. The training method used with several stages, specifically: (1) lecture method by giving an explanation of fairy tales; (2) question and answer method, participants conduct a questioning session about reading literacy; (3) simulation method, participants find and practice how to read fairy tales with interesting stories; and (4) independent method, participants create and discuss the results of writing. The pre-test was given as many as 21 questions in the form of multiple choices to 20 mosque youth participants in Bahagia Babelan Village to fulfill the desk evaluation which lasted for 3 hours. This training attempted to apply the quantum teaching model by providing guidelines regarding the objectives, procedures, and rules together in the implementation of the learning process of reading literature. At the beginning of the pre-test obtained an average score of 53.05%, which had not shown the expected results. In the first cycle post-test, participants experienced an increase after using the quantum teaching learning model with an average value of 72.41%. Then in the post-test cycle II with an average value increased to 85, 70%. Thus, at the end of this training program activity showed an increase in the results of satisfactory reading skills. The mosque youth participants in Bahagia Babelan Village could read well and understand the meaning of the fairy tale reading.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the interference that occurs when Indian BIPA students learn Indonesian language. The data source for this research is the videos of BIPA Online learning at the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in New Delhi and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Mumbai facilitated by the National Agency for Language Development and Cultivation. This research is a qualitative study with a case study. The results of this study indicate that phonological interference occurs with the addition of sound, subtraction of sound, and change of sound. First, regarding the addition of sound it can be found that there is interference in the initial sound, namely /i/; and middle sounds, namely /r/, /y/, /g/, /w/, and /h/ sounds. Second, the sound reduction in (1) double vowel /aa/ becomes /a/ and /ii/ becomes /i/; (2) final /ai/ becomes /i/, (3) middle /ŋ/ becomes /n/, (4) middle /ɳ/ becomes /y/, (5) vowel /a/ at the beginning of a word, and (6) the sound /u/ when there are two /us/ sound sandwiching a consonant sound, such as berumur and puluh to be bermur and pluh. Third, sound (1) changes in vowels, that are /ua/ becomes /wa/, /i/ becomes /y/, and /a/ becomes /e/; and (2) changes in consonants, that are /t/ becomes /d/, /v/ becomes /w/, and /w/ becomes /v/.

Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials for procedure text through Nearpod media. The research was prepared using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection was carried out through needs analysis interviews to teachers and distributing questionnaires to students through g-forms, curriculum analysis, teaching material analysis, material expert validation and media expert validation. In addition, the feasibility test was conducted to Indonesian language teachers and students of grade XI high school. Data analysis was carried out with qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results of this study are in the form of teaching materials for procedural texts that can be accessed through Nearpod media. The feasibility of the product of teaching material for procedure text through Nearpod media for grade XI high school is included in the very good category. The results of the material expert assessment obtained an average score of 3.82. Furthermore, the media expert assessment obtained an average score of 4.5. The Indonesian language teacher assessment obtained an average score of 4.42. The student assessment obtained an average score of 4.28. Based on the results of this assessment, the teaching material for procedural text through Nearpod media for grade XI high school students is declared suitable for use in the learning process.
