Abstract

Kesuksesan karier subjektif dipandang sebagai bidang utama yang diminati dan eksplorasi, baik di bidang akademik maupun praktik. Konteks karier modern lebih menekankan pada mobilitas dan ketidakpastian. Oleh karena itu, karyawan tidak lagi hanya mengandalkan organisasi untuk mencapai kesuksesan kariernya. Mereka memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mengelola dan menciptakan pilihan-pilihan karier mereka sendiri. Memahami kesuksesan karier subjektif adalah tugas penting bagi individu dan organisasi. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk melakukan telaah literatur yang relevan mengenai kesuksesan karier subjektif dan mengembangkan kerangka teoretis tentang konsep dan definisi kesuksesan karier subjektif, faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kesuksesan karier subjektif, dampak dari kesuksesan karier subjektif dan peran identitas karier terhadap kesuksesan karier subjektif.

Abstract

Tujuan studi ini adalah melakukan telaah literatur semi sistematik tentang prototipikalitas pemimpin dalam perspektif identitas sosial. Pencarian menggunakan kata kunci “leader prototypicality” dilakukan dalam berbagai basis data (Emerald, ProQuest, Scopus, Web of Science, dan Portal Garuda) terhadap artikel yang diterbitkan selama dua dekade, dari tahun 2001 hingga 2021. Sebagai hasilnya, diperoleh tujuh puluh satu artikel yang kemudian dianalisis, data diekstraksi dan disentesis sesuai tujuan telaah literatur yang dilakukan, yaitu menjelaskan tentang: (1) pengertian prototipikalitas pemimpin, (2) pengukuran prototipikalitas pemimpin, (3) pengaruh prototipikalitas pemimpin, dan (4) keterbatasan prototipikalitas pemimpin. Pada bagian akhir dilakukan kesimpulan dengan mengajukan saran bagi penelitian kepemimpinan dalam perspektif identitas sosial berikutnya, dengan menggarisbawahi pentingnya kepengikutan.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the 16 items of the Personal Growth Initiative Scale-II (PGIS-II) psychometric traits among women holding corporate leadership positions in Indonesia. It used quantitative methods and was conducted on 181 women in various management positions. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to analyze the PGIS-II instrument factorial validity comprising four dimensions and to determine the factor structure suitability. Furthermore, internal reliability and convergent validity were analyzed from the total and subscale scores. The results showed that the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) matched scores with different ranges. PGIS-II's internal reliability indicated the intentional planning dimensions and behavior that require modifying the items’ measurement and analysis. In terms of validity, the Intentional Behavior (IB2) indicator does not meet the standard loading factor (SLF). However, these findings suggest that the PGIS-II scale could be used to study female figures in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai personal berdasarkan kajian dari teori Schwartz yang dimiliki oleh stay employee dari generasi milenial dan generasi z. Dimana angkatan kerja produktif saat ini berasal dari kedua generasi tersebut. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Portrait Value Questionnaire (PVQ) yang dikembangkan oleh Schwartz (2001). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling, yaitu purposive sampling. Pengambilan data terhadap sampel penelitian ini dilakukan pada karyawan bagian marketing di salah satu bank swasta di Indonesia. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 148 orang stay employee dengan rentang usia 18-39 tahun dengan masa kerja minimal 6 bulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, menunjukan bahwa tipe nilai Conformity, Benevolence, Universalism, dan Security memiliki nilai mean paling tinggi. Dimana keempat nilai tersebut merupakan nilai-nilai kehidupan sosial. Hal ini sesuai dengan karakteristik dari generasi milenial dan generasi z yang senang untuk berinteraksi khususnya di media sosial sehingga nila-nilai kehidupan sosial dalam hal ini lingkungan kerjanya cenderung lebih dominan.

Abstract

Bangkalan is an area that continues to grow. This development can occur because one of them is supported by the tourism sector on the coast. Based on this, the development of coastal tourism destinations needs support from various parties, one of which is MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) actors. This study discusses the existing followership of MSME actors in Bangkalan's south coast tourism. One of the types of followership that has been widely discussed in the last few decades is authentic followership. One of the factors that influence authentic followership is a positive organizational culture. Based on this, this study aims to determine the effect of positive organizational culture on authentic followership. The method used in this research is a quantitative study of influence. Data collection was carried out using a scale on a sample of 130 MSME actors in the southern coastal tourism area of Bangkalan Regency. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The analysis technique uses simple linear regression and the data is processed with SPSS version 14 software. The results show that  positive organizational culture influences authentic followership. Positive organizational culture has an influence of 32.6% on the authentic followership of MSME actors in the south coast of Bangkalan, while the remaining 67.4% is a variable that is not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Motivasi intrinsik adalah kontrol pribadi atas kinerja sebagai penentu sebuah aktivitas yang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik tenaga kesehatan Swabber Covid-19 dengan cara merancang dan melakukan implementasi perencanaan strategis dengan basis appreciative inquiry pada laboratorium Parahita Diagnostic Center di Surabaya. Pada praktiknya, terdapat tiga aspek yang ditekankan ketika meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik yaitu, aspek kompetensi, otonomi dan keterkaitan. Kemudian, kegiatan workshop dengan berbasis appreciative inquiry memunculkan aksi tindakan nyata yang diimplementasikan oleh seluruh subjek. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan action research dengan pendekatan appreciative inquiry yang mempunyai siklus discovery, dream, design, dan destiny melalui media workshop pada 6 Swabber Covid-19 laboratorium Parahita Diagnostic Center. Pengukuran kesuksesan penelitian ini diukur hasil dari proses internalizes motivasi pasca intervensi yang telah diberikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek memberikan penilaian positif pada kegiatan workshop serta mengikuti acara dengan semangat dan antusias. Kemudian, hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa subjek mengalami dampak perubahan baik secara individu maupun organisasi serta terlaksananya aksi tindakan yang telah dirancang. Secara singkat, proses implementasi intervensi yang dilakukan oleh Swabber membantu proses internalizes dengan semakin otonom, memberikan dampak dan perubahan positif dalam meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik.

Abstract

Teachers hold strategic roles in the education system, and their career success is important to make sure they are strongly motivated at work. The big five personality is one of the personality approaches to form one’s subjective career success. This study aimed to identify the role of each dimension of the big five personality in affecting teachers’ subjective career success in Indonesia. To this end, the subjective career success inventory and personality item pool-big five factor makers were employed. This quantitative correlational study involved 320 teachers as respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression test. The result showed that dimensions of extraversion (p<0.000), agreeableness (p<0.000), and conscientiousness (p<0.001) influence Indonesian teachers’ subjective career success. These three dimensions show that teachers in Indonesia tend to have personalities related to other people’s acceptance or awareness of their social environment to attain subjective career success. Such personalities help them consider their personality and its aspects in evaluating their career.

Abstract

Restrukturisasi merupakan sebuah perubahan yang cukup besar di dalam sebuah organisasi. Beragam aspek harus diperhatikan dengan seksama sebelum melakukan perubahan agar efektif dan diterima oleh seluruh anggota organisasi. Salah satu aspek yang penting dan harus diperhatikan adalah kesiapan para pegawai untuk berubah atau yang dikenal dengan readiness to change. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Readiness of Change melalui pendekatan Appreciative Inquiry dalam konteks restrukturisasi pada Dinas Tanaman Pangan, Hortikultura dan Perkebunan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Appreciative Inquiry merupakan salah satu intervensi yang berdasarkan kepada psikologi positif. Intervensi Appreciative Inquiry menggunakan 5 tahapan yaitu define, discovery, dream, design dan destiny. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah “One Group Pretest-Posttest Design”. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 24 perempuan dan 6 orang laki-laki. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa Appreciative Inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan Readiness to Change dengan nilai p yang kurang dari 5% (p<0,001). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa psikologi positif mampu berdampak pada pencegahan resistensi dan memberikan penguatan terhadap komitmen individu dalam menyikapi perubahan.Kata Kunci: Appreciative Inquiry, Readiness to Change, Manajemen Perubahan

Abstract

Various programs were developed by the company to improve the capacity of women leaders. However, on the other hand, the factor of family support, especially the husband support, has so far been neglected in scientific research related to women leaders. Therefore, this study aimed to understand the role of husband support in the personal growth of women leaders. This study used a phenomenological qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews with 6 women leaders. The results show that what motivates women leaders in their personal growth initiative is wanting to get out of their comfort zone, being challenged to become useful people, and having a clear career path. Besides, forms of support such as not complaining a lot, providing real assistance, providing solutions or information, providing emotional support, and giving space for the women to be alone or free to do things are forms of support needed by women leaders in Indonesia. Moreover, jealous husbands and husbands who forbid and demand many things are felt to inhibit the personal growth initiative of women leaders. Furthermore, the husband's dominant role so far is to support the personal growth initiative process.

Abstract

The research aims to describe parents' aspirations of distance learning for children during the pandemic. Aspiration shows an individual's hope to achieve something expected. Aspirations can include theoretical differences between idealistic and realistic levels of aspiration. The aspirations are parents' hopes regarding appropriate learning for their children. These aspirations include learning methods, processes, and behavior in children. The informants are parents of elementary or middle school students who learn through distance learning with consideration that students at the level still need more parental support. The research uses descriptive content analysis methods using information from parents about school learning during the pandemic in online news media between March and November 2020. The search yielded 38 relevant online news articles. Findings include parents hoping that their children will learn face-to-face at school because online learning is considered less effective. Three types of aspirations were obtained: considering distance learning less effective because schools are not ready to carry out online learning, also considering less effective because parents are unable to accompany them and accept distance learning by accompanying children to learn Working status seems less influential because some parents encourage face-to-face meetings and some want to accompany their children to study. This shows that distance learning requires the role of schools and parents to be beneficial for children.
