Abstract

 Motorcycle Technology is a theoretical and practical course in the UNG Mechanical Engineering Education S1 Study Program in the automotive concentration. Based on the results of observations that have been made by researchers that in the laboratory there are Continously Variable Transmission (CVT) motorcycle props but do not yet have a module or guide so that how to use these props is still not understood, the authors took the initiative to develop a practicum module as an alternative to overcome this problem by using the Problem Based Learning learning model on the learning media of the motorcycle Continously Variable Transmission (CVT) teaching aid. The objectives of this development research are 1) Developer of the problem based learning practicum module on the Continously Variable Transmission (CVT) motorcycle prop using the RD (Research and Development) method and using the 4D model. 2) Knowing the feasibility of the Continously Variable Transmission (CVT) motorized vehicle module developed. The method used in this study is the RD (Research and Development) method and uses a 4D model (four-D model). The results of the development of a motorcycle Continously Variable Transmission (CVT) practicum module made using the 4D model research and development (RD) method consisting of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Based on the results of design validation that has been done with a percentage of 96%. The results were validated by material experts with 94% results. The results of the validation by media experts with the results of 85%. The results of the student response test instrument with a result of 81%. This shows that the motorcycle Continously Variable Transmissin (CVT) practicum module can be declared "Very Good" for use.Keywords: Practicum Module, Problem Based Learning, Motorcycle Technology.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for motorcycle ignition system learning media in motorcycle engineering courses, especially motorcycle ignition system material. This study develops learning media as learning aids according to the learning styles of Mechanical Engineering Education students who are more inclined to kinesthetic learning styles. The purpose of this study was to develop and test the feasibility of motorcycle ignition system learning media in motorcycle engineering courses. To develop and test the feasibility of the media, the method used in this research is Research Development, with a 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The development procedure begins with (1) describing the initial state, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product manufacturing (7) product validation, (8) revision product, (9) final product, (10) dissemination. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This study produced motorcycle Ignition System learning media and the results of measuring the feasibility of the media with an average percentage value of design experts 89.15, material experts 90.76%, media experts 93.84, and user response 90.00%. The sum of the average scores of all grades is 90.18. The conclusion of the development of motorbike Ignition System learning media can be said to be very feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a practical module based on Problem Based Learning on a motorcycle Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) teaching aid and to determine the feasibility of the developed motorcycle Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) teaching aid module. The method used in this study is the RD (Research and Development) method and uses the 4D model (four-D model) consisting of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The results of the study indicate that a practical module has been produced on a motorcycle Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) teaching aid for the motorcycle technology course at the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University. The level of feasibility of the problem based learning practical module on the motorcycle Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) teaching aid at the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University, is determined through validation of the practical module design, expert validation by material experts and media experts and student response tests with results meeting the criteria of "Very Good" and is suitable for use as teaching materials that support student learning.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine how the Curriculum course contributes to developing students’ global competencies in the digital era. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study analyzes various scholarly articles from Google Scholar (2021–2025), research reports, and academic publications relevant to curriculum integration, global competence development, and the demands of 21st-century higher education. The review findings indicate that the Curriculum course not only provides conceptual understanding of curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation, but also encourages students to develop critical thinking skills, digital literacy, cross-cultural collaboration, and global problem-solving abilities. The use of educational technology and innovative learning models further strengthens the development of global competencies by providing more interactive and contextual learning experiences, making the Curriculum course an increasingly important and evolving strategy in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui antara warna merah dan biru pada keyboard terhadap performa motorik halus dalam segi kecepatan dan akurasi mengetik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa jurusan multimedia. Metode pengumpulan data aplikasi typing master yang dibuat untuk mengukur suatu kecepatan dan akurasi dalam mengetik sehingga mendapatkan sebuah hasil yang dapat di uji dalam sebuah pengambilan data. Teknik Analisa data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian kecepatan dan akurasi mengetik siswa dapat meningkat dengan menggunakan keboard berwarna merah dan kecepatan sertaakurasi mengetik siswa dapat menurun dengan menggunakan keboard berwarna biru.

Abstract

Di Indonesia sendiri banyak individu yang mengalami obesitas sehingga menyebabkan mereka kurang percaya diri dan tidak percaya diri. Ini kemudian melemahkan kemampuan interpersonalnya untuk melakukan sinkronisasi dengan lingkungannya. Banyak individu, terutama pria yang merasa tidak puas dengan bentuk tubuhnya, melakukan fitnes sebagai cara untuk mendapatkan tubuh ideal dan daya tarik fisik sesuai keinginannya. Hal ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan interpersonal mereka dalam berinteraksi dengan pergaulannya, khususnya dengan lawan jenis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra tubuh ideal dan daya tarik fisik terhadap kemampuan interpersonal pria yang melakukan senam fitnes di pusat kebugaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 100 anggota dari Nagano, Master, Brilliant dan Project Fitness yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala citra tubuh ideal, daya tarik fisik dan kemampuan interpersonal. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan software Amos versi 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa citra tubuh ideal dengan kemampuan interpersonal menunjukkan nilai CR sebesar 2,257 ≥ 1,96 dan nilai P 0,024> 0,05 yang berarti citra tubuh ideal memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan interpersonal. Kemudian daya tarik fisik dengan kemampuan interpersonal menunjukkan nilai C.R sebesar 1,126 ≤ 1,96 dan nilai P sebesar 0,260> 0,05 yang berarti bahwa daya tarik fisik tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan interpersonal.

Abstract

This study proposes a safer bentor frame design using a Research and Development (R&D) approach combined with the Pahl & Beitz design methodology. User requirements were gathered through field observations and questionnaires, revealing major safety issues in current bentor structures, including braking performance, suspension reliability, and dimensional inconsistency. A revised configuration was developed featuring a rear passenger layout, AISI 1020 frame material, front disc brake, telescopic suspension, and a differential drivetrain system. Structural performance was verified through static load simulation using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) based on real operating conditions. The results indicate a maximum stress of 140 MPa, displacement of 0.49 mm, and a safety factor of 2.49, remaining within the allowable limit of the material’s 351 MPa yield strength. These findings demonstrate that the proposed design offers improved structural integrity, stability, and operational safety, making it a viable alternative for practical implementation.

Abstract

In today’s digital era, the existence of an e-commerce platform is crucial for vocational educational institutions to market student-made products and serve as a medium for digital entrepreneurship learning. SMK Putra Pertiwi possesses significant potential in creative products but remains constrained by market reach and online visual product presentation. This program aims to create an attractive and professional online store using the WordPress platform supported by the WooCommerce plugin. The implementation methods include needs analysis, responsive interface design (UI/UX), and content management training for staff and students. The output of this program is a functional, aesthetic, and easily manageable online store website. Through this initiative, SMK Putra Pertiwi is expected to enhance its digital competitiveness, expand marketing reach, and provide practical experience for students in managing a digital business ecosystem. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effectiveness of using Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in vocational education. This study addresses the need for a comprehensive understanding of the impact of immersive technology on improving the quality of learning in various vocational fields. The research methodology applied was a Systematic Literature Review of 40 articles, consisting of 16 quasi-experimental designs, 13 randomised controlled trials, 7 mixed methods, 3 observational studies, and 1 case study. Of the articles studied, 23 studies used VR technology, 12 studies used AR, and 5 studies used a combination of both. The educational contexts analysed covered various fields, with nursing being the most studied field with 6 studies. The main findings show significant effectiveness in various aspects of learning. In orthopaedic surgery training, a transfer effectiveness ratio of 0.79 was found. In construction safety training, hazard identification accuracy reached 78.3% using VR, compared to 18.5% with traditional methods. Student engagement levels also showed positive results, with 100% of students reporting an increase in interest in learning, and 92% of students reporting good confidence levels in the VR training group. This study makes a significant contribution to the field of education by presenting empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of AR and VR in vocational learning. The study also identified factors for successful implementation, including the importance of integrating this technology with appropriate pedagogical strategies, as well as its potential to improve educational accessibility. Despite challenges such as high initial costs and technical issues, the results of the study show that AR and VR are effective learning media for improving the quality of vocational education, especially in learning complex and high-risk skills.

Abstract

Pengelolaan armada freighter pada perusahaan logistik memerlukan sistem yang mampu memantau aktivitas operasional serta mengoptimalkan penjadwalan secara efektif. PT. Cipta Krida Bahari sebagai perusahaan logistik terintegrasi menghadapi beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan kapasitas angkut, potensi keterlambatan jadwal, serta kurangnya visibilitas terhadap status pengiriman secara real-time. Kondisi ini dapat berdampak pada menurunnya efisiensi operasional dan kualitas layanan kepada pelanggan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan solusi berbasis teknologi yang mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut secara sistematis dan terukur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem monitoring freighter berbasis web yang terintegrasi dengan metode optimasi Integer Linear Programming (ILP) guna meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan armada. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan identifikasi masalah, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, serta evaluasi. Sistem yang dikembangkan memungkinkan pemantauan aktivitas freighter secara real-time, termasuk informasi jadwal penerbangan, kapasitas muatan, serta status pengiriman. Selain itu, sistem ini juga mampu memberikan rekomendasi penjadwalan optimal berdasarkan perhitungan matematis yang mempertimbangkan berbagai kendala operasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi sistem monitoring dengan metode ILP dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, meminimalkan risiko keterlambatan, serta mengoptimalkan penggunaan kapasitas angkut. Sistem ini juga mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih cepat dan akurat dalam manajemen logistik. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dibangun diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan freighter dan kualitas layanan distribusi logistik di PT. Cipta Krida Bahari secara berkelanjutan.
