Cooperation is needed to meet the needs of a region that cannot be met alone and therefore requires assistance from other regions. This article uses examples of successful collaboration carried out by the East Java Provincial Government where there are several good collaborations that will be and are currently being carried out. The method used in this writing is literature study by analyzing previous research that has been carried out and then analyzing it with appropriate theory to arrive at conclusions that are in line with what was expected. The results in this paper are that in the process of cooperation, commitment from each region is very much needed, there must be an official written agreement to enter into a collaboration. In developments in the field it is also known that in implementing cooperation there is a need for other actors who are interconnected. The conclusion in this paper is that in managing cooperation, each region must have principles that must be upheld, for example in implementing cooperation in East Java Province which uses Mintzberg principles, then in implementing cooperation it will use Mintzberg principles. It also involves other elements which in this case are known as the pentahelix concept.

Abstract

Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to provide input on community empowerment programs carried out through educational activities while promoting a sense of patriotism for the community. From the objectives to be achieved, it can be seen that the love of the homeland in society can be strengthened, one of which is through the implementation of learning. . The implementation of learning is carried out not only through formal education but also through non-formal education. This non-formal education is education that is not bound and organized based on the needs of the community. In many government agendas the development of human resources is always highlighted in order to develop an increasingly progressive and empowered society. The concept of empowerment carried out in this paper is not solely in improving the economic level, but the progress of thinking and acting on a problem is also evidence if the community is empowered. The conclusion that can be given in this paper is that non-formal education carried out by the community should continue to provide space for the community to develop themselves and still incorporate an element of character.

Abstract

Following registration records for the 2022 Unlicensed Foreign Worker Recalibration Program (PATI), 418,649 Indonesian citizens are participating in the labour recalibration program in Malaysia, so this will have a negative impact, namely an increase in the number of children of Indonesian migrant workers. Malaysian immigration authorities do not allow all migrant workers to invite their families to come live in Malaysia. This causes migrant workers' children to feel ostracized, discriminated against and denied their right to education due to a lack of access to education and love from their parents. The research aims to explore the role of government in providing educational services. The research method is descriptive and qualitative. The subjects of this research were the Indonesian and Malaysian governments, the children of unregistered immigrant workers in several guidance studios, and migrant workers. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results found that the rights of Indonesian citizens and children have been fulfilled, such as access to education. Fulfilling these needs is achieved through the role of government, such as establishing formal and non-formal schools to foster a sense of comfort and protection. In addition, the government, with its role, can create appropriate policies to provide rights and safety to the children of unregistered immigrant workers

Abstract

Early childhood education (ECE) demands imaginative and inventive approaches to guarantee that children are actively involved and undergo significant learning in line with their developmental phases. The swift advancement of technology has made interactive video a valuable tool for enhancing ECE learning, especially when integrated with local cultural material. This research examines the use of the interactive video Wajanus (Warung Jajanan Nusantara) in Class B of Mutiara Hati Kindergarten Ponorogo, aimed at familiarizing children with Indonesian traditional snacks while also enhancing their cognitive, social, linguistic, and cultural values. A qualitative descriptive method was utilized, involving participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with parents and teachers, along with documentation via photos, videos, and field notes. Data analysis adhered to the model proposed by Miles and Huberman, encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and thematic conclusion formulation. The results indicate that utilizing Wajanus improved children's involvement in cognitive, emotional, and motor skills while promoting greater learning motivation. Children recognized numbers, shapes, and new vocabulary more efficiently, and they exhibited a positive attitude toward the local cultural heritage presented in the video. However, challenges were noted, including differing degrees of child involvement, the demand for extensive teacher assistance, and inadequate educational resources. In summary, interactive videos grounded in local culture like Wajanus are successful in enhancing early childhood education quality while also reinforcing children’s character education and cultural identity, and they possess significant potential for duplication in other ECE institutions throughout Indonesia
