Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of using Smart TV as a learning medium at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Hasan on the quality of the teaching and learning process. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study results indicate that Smart TV successfully creates more engaging, interactive, and relevant learning. Visual features such as videos, animations, and graphics help students understand complex materials and increase enthusiasm, participation, and involvement in class discussions. From the teacher's perspective, using Smart TV allows for more varied and efficient delivery of materials. Features such as digital quizzes, simulations, and educational applications support collaborative and dynamic learning. This implementation also successfully increases students' learning motivation, which positively impacts their learning outcomes. However, this study identified several challenges, including the need for teacher training to optimize technology and regular device maintenance. Support from the principal and the school is a significant factor in the success of this innovation, especially in areas with limited access to technology. The conclusion of this study shows that the implementation of Smart TV significantly contributes to improving the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Hasan. In the future, closer integration with the curriculum, ongoing teacher training, and student mentoring are needed to maximize the potential of this technology. With consistent support, the use of Smart TV has the potential to provide a positive long-term impact on the world of education.

Therefore, the role of IT is very important here, creating good designs as a foundation for the advancement of information and communication technology, as well as adding Islamic religious education learning activities with materials and skills and practicing religion including learning activities and mastery. However, we must also be able to use a technical approach with a learning method using the "Moodle" internet program. Furthermore, the researcher will provide information regarding the type of research to be conducted, the planned time for implementing the research, and the class that will be the subject of the research. The results achieved are the process of developing IT-based PAI learning media, starting from the initial identification stage or implementation of preliminary research to the final revision stage.

Abstract

Fiqh learning often faces challenges such as monotonous lecture methods and an unconducive classroom atmosphere, which can lead to student boredom and low engagement. To overcome this, flash card media is used as an innovative learning tool because it can simplify abstract concepts, attract attention, and make the learning process more interactive and enjoyable. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach in two madrasahs: MTs Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo and MTs Darul Falah Cermee Bondowoso. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's techniques (data reduction, display, and verification). The results indicate that flash cards emerge as a solution to dull learning sessions. This media has proven to increase students' activeness and understanding, especially in recalling fiqh concepts. The strategy involves students directly in the creation and usage of the cards in a flexible and participative manner

Abstract

This study explores the strategies of internalizing Islamic Education (PAI) values in shaping students’ disciplinary character. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through structured interviews with the principal, student counseling teacher, and vice principal for student affairs, complemented by direct observations and documentation. The findings indicate that discipline is cultivated through three main strategies: (1) habituation of positive character practices such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, and daily courtesy routines; (2) teacher and staff role modeling, where educators serve as living examples of punctuality, honesty, and responsibility; and (3) consistent enforcement of school regulations linked to Islamic values. In addition, counseling strategies were applied through preventive, curative, and educative approaches, supported by collaboration with parents to ensure continuity at home. The study concludes that discipline is most effectively developed when Islamic values are internalized not as external obligations but as intrinsic aspects of students’ faith and behavior. The implications extend to educational management, highlighting the need for systematic planning, implementation, and evaluation of character education programs. By integrating pedagogical practices with management strategies, schools can foster sustainable discipline that contributes to producing responsible, ethical, and faith-driven future generations.
