Abstract

Supply chain activities always carry the potential for risk, which is why risk management is essential for addressing these risks. In companies that manufacture mattresses, such as PT Raja Indonesia Perkasa Suwayuwo, the supply chain activities related to leather raw materials are susceptible to various risks. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a risk analysis and design mitigation actions to address or reduce the likelihood of risks or disruptions in the leather raw material supply chain. This study employs the House of Risk (HoR) model, which consists of two phases. The first phase involves identifying risks and risk agents, followed by measuring the severity and occurrence levels, as well as calculating the Aggregate Risk Priority (ARP) values. The second phase focuses on risk treatment. The results of the study show that there are 27 risk events and 52 risk agents identified. Furthermore, six mitigation actions have been proposed, which are expected to effectively mitigate the risks in the leather raw material supply chain.

Abstract

The diminishing awareness among younger generations to preserve local arts and cultural heritage in the era of modernization poses a serious threat to the sustainability of traditional values. Local culture embodies the noble values of a nation and thus must be protected and promoted. This study aims to examine the background of the establishment of Kampung Budaya (Cultural Village) Piji Wetan, the efforts made to promote cultural sustainability, its contribution to the local economy, the challenges it faces in development, and the possible solutions. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analysed using Miles and Huberman's model which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Kampung Budaya Piji Wetan was established as an effort to re-narrate marginalized folklore and respond to the community’s growing awareness of preserving cultural values. Its initiatives are grounded in comprehensive and sustainable community empowerment based on local wisdom, inspired by two key teachings of Sunan Muria—Tapa Ngeli and Pager Mangkuk—which serve as philosophical foundations for cultural identity and community welfare. The village has successfully contributed to the local economy by transforming culture and art into a sustainable economic driver and creating a localized, community-based economic ecosystem. Challenges in development include limited active participation, time constraints among members, and sustaining collective enthusiasm over time. The proposed solutions emphasize strengthening personal engagement, fostering open dialogues to encourage participation, providing emotional support, fair task distribution, and sustaining a sense of collective spirit.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the key factors influencing rice farmers' decisions to sell their production in East OKU Regency. Methodology: The research was conducted in three districts—East Buay Madang, Buay Madang, and Madang Suku I—selected purposively based on their large rice production areas. Using a case study approach, data were collected from 118 respondents through multi-stage random sampling. Logit regression analysis was employed to identify the factors affecting farmers' sales decisions. The results indicate that production volume, urgent financial needs, middlemen involvement, and milling costs significantly influence farmers' decisions to sell their rice in the form of grain. Meanwhile, labor availability does not have a significant impact. The findings highlight that most farmers prefer selling unprocessed grain due to immediate financial needs and dependency on middlemen, despite the lower prices compared to selling processed rice.: To enhance farmers' income and economic resilience, it is essential to stabilize grain prices, reduce milling costs, and provide better financial support and market access. Encouraging more farmers to process their grain into rice before selling could lead to greater profitability and reduced reliance on middlemen.

Abstract

Kecombrang (Etlingera elatior) is one of the Indonesian herbal plants, frequently used by our society as anti-inflammation. This medicine has a function to reduce infection. This study aims to examine the activity of ani-inflammation from the extract of n-hexan, ethyl acetate, and ethanol of kecombrang (Etlingera elatior) leaves. It useá experimental as a method by using inflammation inhibition test on the tested white male mouse of galur wisiar as sampie. This sample is divided into 6 groups and each was given at a dose at 50 mg/kgweight, 100 mg/KGBW, 150 mg/KGBW, and 200 mg/K.gBW. Besides, for the positive control group, Diclofenac sodium was used at a dose of 4.5 mg / KGBW, which was previously induced by edema with 1% Karangenan. Edema measurenients were carried out every 10 minutes after being induced by carrageenan using a pletismometer. The data result of anti-inflammation activity from each extract has been exainined the differences between test groups with the ANOVA statistical test The result of Tukey statistical test stated ethanol extract of kecombrang leaves at a dose of 200 mg/KGBW has a good anti-inflammation activity, achieving a value of 0.972, 0.994, and 1,000. It means there is no different anong extract of n-hexan, ethyl acetate, and ethanol.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills are essential in facing current challenges and developments. This study aims to describe students' ability to solve mathematical problems in the form of matrix story problems. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method and involves 93 eleventh-grade high school students. The instrument used is a written test consisting of two problem-solving questions. Subject selection was based on the results of a problem-solving ability test. Data collection utilized the problem-solving ability test questions and interviews. Qualitative data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The analysis was conducted according to Polya's model. The results showed that 7 students (8%) had very good mathematical problem-solving skills, as they were able to complete all four stages of Polya's model. Another 19 students (20%) were categorized as having good skills, although they only completed three stages of Polya's model without performing the final verification stage. Meanwhile, 30 students (32%) were only able to complete two stages of Polya's model without fully understanding the problem and without conducting a recheck, thus categorized as having adequate problem-solving skills. Additionally, 37 students (40%) were only able to complete one stage of Polya's model without fully understanding the problem, without formulating a plan, executing the plan, and without conducting a recheck. Thus, they were categorized as having poor problem-solving skills. This indicates that each student's ability to understand the problem, develop a problem-solving plan, implement the problem-solving plan, and check the answers is still in the low category. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are still low. It is hoped that teachers can train students in learning, conduct effective learning, and thus improve students' problem-solving abilities.
