Abstract

This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using the simak method with the technique of simak libat cakap. The data in this study were obtained from the observation process, notes, and recordings. In analyzing the data, the author classifies the data that has been obtained into politeness strategies and principles. The author also uses translational and pragmatic methods. The translational method is used to translate the Minang-language data into Indonesian. The data is presented using informal method in the form of described speech and dialog. The results of the analysis show that 1) students in MAN 2 of Padang City tend to use positive politeness strategies with 64.77% and so do in MAN 2 of South Solok Regency with 56.84%. This is because students at MAN 2 of Padang City and MAN 2 of South Solok Regency both try to be close to their speech partners by using speech that contains positive politeness. 2) the principle of politeness that tends to be used by students in MAN 2 Padang City is the maxim of generosity and acceptance with 37.50% while in MAN 2 South Solok Regency tends to use the principle of politeness with the maxim of aggreement 58.33%. Based on these results, students at MAN 2 of Padang City tend to praise their speech partners and give burden to themselves in speaking, while at MAN 2 of South Solok Regency are more likely to maximize compatibility with their speech partners.

Abstract

Poor nutrition during pregnancy and childhood is a bad consequence. Stunting children will never reach their peak height or have the best brain development. These children start their lives poorly; they have trouble learning in school, earn less than adults, and face obstacles to being a part of society. This research is to see the relationship between the availability of clean water and access to health services on the health status of mothers and children. This research is quantitative research using analytical observation methods with a "Cross Sectional" approach. Sampling was taken using Cluster Random Sampling with the Chi-Square statistical correlative test with a significance level of 0,05 using SPSS 24. There is a relationship between the availability of clean water and the health status of mothers and children (p-value=0,000), while access to health services does not have a significant relationship with the health status of mothers and children (p-value=0,904). The availability of clean water shows good health status for mothers and children, while access to health services does not have a significant relationship.

Abstract

Standar mutu bangsa yang berkembang adalah kualitas pendidikan yang baik. Kualitas pendidikan yang baik ditentukan oleh kompetensi dan kualitas guru yang baik. Permsalahan kualitas guru yang rendah di Indonesia membuat sebagian orang bertanya-tanya akan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Melalui metode studi pustaka ini dikaji kompetensi guru, permasalahan guru, upaya peningkatan kualitas guru, dan korelasi peningkatan kualitas guru dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan dari berbagai sumber pustaka. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 1) kepala sekolah dan pemerintah terkait memberikan dorongan dan pemantauan kinerja guru, dengan harapan tidak ada guru yang malas untuk berkembang; 2) mengoptimalkan kelompok kerja guru di setiap gugus, kecamatan, hingga kabupaten; 3) memberikan bantuan beasiswa untuk meningkatkan standar keilmuan guru; 4) mendorong peran aktif guru dalam program pemerintah termasuk sekolah penggerak dan guru penggerak; 5) meningkatkan kolaborasi dari berbagai pihak. Dengan mengetahui gabaran kualitas guru harapannya kedepan kualitas guru semakin baik dan memberikan daya dorong terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Mulai dari tingkat sekolah dasar hingga pergurun tinggi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kolaborasi untuk memajukan pendidikan Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman melalui pelatihan mengenai koding untuk guru jenjang sekolah dasar Kabupaten Wajo. Pengajaran pemrograman di tingkat sekolah dasar dapat menjadi inovasi yang dapat digunakan atau dimanfaatkan oleh para guru untuk mendorong siswa berpikir secara kritis, holistik, inovatif, dan kreatif. Metode penyampaian informasi berupa penguatan terhadap pemahaman yang ada terkait koding. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan penguatan pemahaman, tetapi juga memberikan penjelasan tentang berbagai informasi yang ingin disampaikan kepada peserta atau sasaran. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu pembelajaran koding dengan memaksimalkan potensi anak dengan koding dilakukan melalui pengembangan pemikiran logikal, meningkatkan keahlian matematika, meningkatkan kreativitas dan inovasi, mendorong pembelajaran langsung serta mengembangkan keahlian dalam pemecahan masalah. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta dalam hal ini guru sekolah dasar Kabupaten Wajo terkait Koding. Pentingnya pembelajaran koding ini kepada siswa sekolah dasar berasal dari kenyataan bahwa teknologi sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan dunia pendidikan maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa sehingga peserta guru perlu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pemahamannya untuk dapat memperkenalkan pemrograman kepada anak-anak sejak dini.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi penguatan kurikulum berbasis Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dalam meningkatkan kesiapan karir mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) terhadap kebutuhan dunia industri yang semakin kompetitif di era revolusi industri. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif, disertai dengan needs assessment untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara kondisi aktual dan ideal implementasi kurikulum MBKM di UNM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun UNM telah menerapkan berbagai program MBKM seperti pertukaran mahasiswa, magang, penelitian, proyek kemanusiaan, kewirausahaan, studi independen, dan KKN tematik, implementasinya belum sepenuhnya mampu menjawab tuntutan dunia kerja. Ditemukan sejumlah kesenjangan kompetensi (competency gap) antara capaian pembelajaran mahasiswa dan ekspektasi industri, terutama dalam aspek keterampilan praktis, soft skills, serta kesiapan profesional. Dunia industri menuntut lulusan yang tidak hanya unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga adaptif, komunikatif, berpikir kritis, dan menguasai teknologi digital. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, dirumuskan enam strategi penguatan kurikulum MBKM di UNM, yaitu: (1) integrasi kurikulum dengan kebutuhan industri melalui pendekatan Outcome-Based Education; (2) penguatan kemitraan strategis dengan dunia usaha dan dunia industri (DUDI); (3) peningkatan kompetensi dosen dan pembimbing MBKM; (4) penguatan soft skills dan employability skills mahasiswa; serta (5) pengembangan sistem sertifikasi dan (6) Monitoring dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Strategi ini diharapkan mampu memperkuat relevansi pendidikan tinggi dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja dan meningkatkan daya saing global lulusan UNM. Kata Kunci: MBKM, kurikulum, kesiapan karir, dunia industri

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna gender dalam teks Al-Qur'an, dengan fokus pada pengaturan hak dan kewajiban sebagaimana tercermin dalam QS. An-Nisa' ayat 7 dan 11. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi berbasis tafsir tematik, dengan pendekatan kontekstual dan maqashid al-syari'ah sebagai kerangka interpretasi. Kajian terhadap QS. An-Nisa' ayat 7 menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur'an memberikan pengakuan eksplisit terhadap hak perempuan atas warisan, suatu revolusi sosial dibandingkan dengan budaya pra-Islam yang mendiskriminasi perempuan. Sementara itu, QS. An-Nisa' ayat 11 mengatur proporsi pembagian warisan berdasarkan tanggung jawab sosial yang diemban laki-laki, bukan berdasarkan superioritas gender. Hasil analisis mengungkapkan bahwa perbedaan dalam pembagian waris mencerminkan keadilan proporsional, di mana hak dan kewajiban diseimbangkan secara rasional. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa prinsip keadilan substantif merupakan inti ajaran Islam dalam relasi gender. Dengan demikian, pendekatan kontekstual dan etis diperlukan untuk memahami ayat-ayat warisan agar tetap relevan dalam masyarakat modern. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya pemahaman terhadap prinsip keadilan sosial dalam Islam serta memberikan landasan bagi reinterpretasi hukum waris dengan perspektif keadilan gender.

Abstract

Multicultural education has become a crucial discourse in addressing the challenges of ethnic, religious, cultural, and linguistic diversity in Indonesia. Although various efforts have been made to integrate multicultural principles into curricula and educational practices, several issues still hinder the creation of inclusive and equitable education. This article aims to analyze key issues in multicultural education, including discrimination, curriculum bias, unequal access, and the lack of teacher training in managing diversity. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with literature review and policy document analysis as its main approach. The analysis reveals that although national policies support multicultural values, implementation at the grassroots level still shows significant gaps, particularly in peripheral schools and conflict-prone areas. Educational reform and competency-based multicultural teacher training are urgently needed to create a learning environment that respects diversity. This article is expected to contribute to academic discourse in promoting the development of just and equitable education amid Indonesia's diverse society.

Abstract

The problems discussed in this research is (1) how is the syntactic structure of speech delay children after therapy in Caca's case study? The purpose of this study is (1) to identify the syntactic structure of speech delay children after Caca's case study. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. In the data collection stage, direct interviews were conducted using the method of listening and speaking. The techniques used were fishing techniques with emotional and psychological approaches, tapping, recording and noting. At the data analysis stage, translational pairing was used to transliterate Caca's speech into Indonesian. Based on the results of data analysis, the syntactic structure produced by Caca can be seen in terms of aspects of syntactic categories, syntactic functions and semantic roles. Based on the syntactic category, Caca is able to master various word categories and shows the existence of morphosyntactic limitations such as affixation. Based on syntactic function, the sentence pattern is dominated by subject-predicate (SP) structure. Based on semantic role, Caca shows the dominance of the ability to structure the relationship between agent, action, subject and target in a simple way.

Abstract

This study examines written language errors in public spaces at Universitas Andalas as a response to a linguistic paradox: the international recognition of Indonesian—marked by its designation as an official language of UNESCO—and persistently disordered domestic practices, particularly within higher education contexts. The objectives of the study are to identify the forms and degrees of dominance of linguistic errors and to interpret their implications for language practices and institutional image. Employing a descriptive–analytical approach, the study applies error analysis to 30 data sources containing 151 linguistic errors. The results reveal that orthographic errors are the most dominant, accounting for 73.51% of all cases, followed by lexical choice errors (9.93%), sentence-level errors (5.30%), logical errors (4.64%), and phrase- and clause-level errors, each comprising 3.31%. These findings suggest that linguistic issues in public spaces are predominantly microstructural and technical in nature, reflecting a low adherence to the norms of written Indonesian. This phenomenon suggests a lack of normative awareness among educated communities. The study recommends strengthening the role of academic institutions in monitoring language use in public spaces and utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in conjunction with human linguistic expertise to enhance the quality of public texts, thereby contributing to the elevation of Indonesian as a national language.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the work innovation of employees in the Barebbo District office, Bone Regency, using a qualitative design approach. This type of research is descriptive qualitative by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques in data collection. The key informants of this research are the sub-district head, the head of the section and the community with data analysis techniques used, namely data condensation, data display or data presentation, and verification or conclusions. The results showed that the innovation of the work of the state civil apparatus at the Barebbo sub-district office was innovated quite well. This means that employees in Barebbo, Bone Regency, have shown and carried out various innovations in carrying out their work duties by utilizing all computer technology to work more easily, quickly and precisely. In addition, other forms of innovation are to design standard operating procedures that are easier and clearer and to innovate in work attitudes by always saving materials and reducing costs used for work.
