Abstract

This study focuses on implementing the Merdeka curriculum from the perspective of its management challenges, exploring the experiences and perceptions of stakeholders related to implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at MAN Jombang and using a qualitative study, interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis used data reduction, coding, and theme identification stages. To ensure data validity, the researcher applied source triangulation. The study findings indicate that implementing the Merdeka Curriculum faces challenges related to technology access and teacher readiness. Technology limitations, including unequal access to devices, hinder effective project-based learning, and administrative staff acknowledge the need for infrastructure improvements. Students appreciate the curriculum's focus on personal interests but need more guidance to navigate independent learning. Teachers have received training in project-based learning, but many teachers need help implementing new methods effectively. Although progress has been made, continued support, increased resources, and collaborative efforts among stakeholders are critical to successfully implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and improving educational outcomes. Limitations of the study include limited observation time and potential bias in participant responses. This study has yet to explore the long-term impacts of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Stakeholder collaboration research can provide deeper insights into practical strategies to address challenges and improve educational outcomes in Islamic education.

Abstract

Olahraga gulat harus menguasai berbagai macam teknik dasar, salah satunya yaitu bantingan. Jenis teknik bantingan ini memanfaatkan pinggang sebagai tumpuan teknik bantingan, sehingga diperlukannya kekuatan otot didalamnya. Atlet gulat putri Kabupaten Grobogan terkenal dengan teknik bantingan yang dapat mengalahkan lawan namun saat ini terdapat penurunan prestasi, maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kekuatan otot tungkai dan otot punggung terhadap kecepatan bantingan. Jenis Penelitian uji korelasi (corelation research). Metode penelitian kuantitatif “One-shot” model. Penarikan data menggunakan total sampling.  Instrumen Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu tes kekuatan otot tungkai otot punggung dengan tes kecepatan teknik bantingan pinggang. Hasil Menunjukan terdapat pengaruh kekuatan otot tungkai dan otot punggung terhadap kecepatan bantingan pada atlet gulat putri Kabupaten Grobogan. Namun pada hasil tabel angka koefisien konkordansi Kendall adalah 0.804. Simpulan menunjukan terdapat pengaruh kekuatan otot tungkai dan otot punggung terhadap teknik kecepatan bantingan pada atlet gulat putri, namun tergolong lemah.

Abstract

Children are entrusted by God to humans who must be guarded, cared for, nurtured, guided, raised, educated, fulfilled, schooled, married and established so that they become independent when they are released. Nurturing and educating wholeheartedly is very necessary in the family for their children. The family is a figure and model that is the first in the process of the educational process. Children will not be much different from the behavior and behavior that has been done by the family. Therefore, being a parent must be able to transfer various kinds of information and characters that are good for children's development. So that they have the responsibility of caring for and educating children in the family to become children who are expected and useful for religion, the homeland and the nation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the instillation of Islamic Multicultural Education values ​​at SMK Negeri Jatirogo Tuban which contains multicultural values. This type of research is a field study with a qualitative approach. Sources of information regarding this study are Islamic and Christian Religious Education Teachers, Principals or Assistant Teachers, and Students. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and data inference. The findings in this study indicate that the multicultural values ​​contained in Islamic education include tolerance values, equality values, unity values, family values, and justice values. The implementation of multicultural values ​​in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMK Negeri Jatirogo Tuban uses two methods, namely the exemplary method and the habitat method. The impact of instilling multicultural values ​​on students is the growth of attitudes of mutual tolerance, respect, accepting other people's opinions, mutual cooperation, not being hostile and the absence of conflict due to differences in culture, ethnicity, language, customs, and religion. The limitation of this study is the scope of the study which is still limited to the normative aspects of multicultural values. This study has not analyzed in depth the psychological dynamics of students or the institutional structure that influences the internalization of these values. The originality of this study lies in its approach that integrates Islamic educational values ​​with the concept of multiculturalism in inclusive formal education practices. This study also highlights the interaction between students and teachers from various religious backgrounds directly in the context of religious learning, which is rarely explored in previous studies.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan keberhasilan proses belajar-mengajar, termasuk pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan memanfaatkan data primer dan sekunder melalui observasi, wawancara, serta telaah dokumen yang dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran SKI di MAS Miftahul Huda telah berupaya mengikuti prinsip universal, keberlanjutan, dan objektivitas, meskipun penerapannya belum sepenuhnya konsisten. Model evaluasi yang digunakan meliputi evaluasi formatif untuk memantau perkembangan belajar, evaluasi sumatif untuk menilai hasil akhir, serta model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) sebagai pendekatan komprehensif dalam mengevaluasi program pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi ketiga model evaluasi tersebut mampu memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai kualitas pembelajaran SKI, di mana implementasi prinsip dasar evaluasi menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan kebermaknaan hasil pembelajaran.

Abstract

The management of water billing in the PAMSIMAS service in Sidobandung Village is still conducted manually and does not provide early information regarding bill estimates, often resulting in delayed payments by customers. This study aims to design and develop a web-based water bill prediction application using the Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) method, capable of delivering fast, accurate, and accessible billing estimates. The dataset used in this research consists of historical monthly water usage and billing data from January to December 2024, with a structure comprising 231 rows of customer data and 30 feature columns. The research stages include data preprocessing, model training using MLR, integration of the model into a web-based system, and evaluation of prediction results using the Mean Squared Error (MSE) and R-squared ( ) metrics. Evaluation results showed that the model achieved an MSE of 18,882 and an  of 0,8, indicating a fairly good and stable prediction performance. The system allows customers to log in, view predicted water bills for the 13th month based on previous data, and access graphical visualizations of usage and cost trends. Meanwhile, the admin can efficiently manage customer data through a dedicated dashboard. With the implementation of this application, the management and prediction process of water billing becomes more transparent, efficient, and helps customers in planning their water expenses more precisely .

Abstract

Mountain climbing is one of the most popular forms of recreational sports, especially among young people who enjoy nature-based challenges. However, this activity carries several risks, one of which is acute hypothermia sudden and dangerous drop in body temperature that can threaten the safety of climbers, particularly those lacking sufficient knowledge and preparation. Hypothermia often occurs among novice climbers due to limited education and lack of experience in handling emergency conditions. This study aims to explore climbers’ knowledge of first aid for acute hypothermia, their level of preparedness, their responses during incidents, and the role of education and climbing experience in shaping their readiness. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field study method. The study involed six climbers, one basecamp manager, one SAR team member, and one Perhutani officer on Mount Andong via the Sawit route. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data validity was tested through triangulation and persistent field observation. The findings indicate that most informants understand the definition and symptoms of hypothermia and have taken preventive measures such as carrying warm clothing and planning their hiking time. For treatment, they commonly use passive warming methods such as sleeping bags, emergency blankets, and warm food or drinks. However, education provided by basecamp staff remains limited. These findings highlight the importance of on-site education and first aid simulations as essential forms of preparedness prior to hiking.

Abstract

The Merdeka Learning - Merdeka Campus (MBKM) policy is a groundbreaking initiative in Indonesia’s higher education system, aiming to create more flexible learning opportunities, connect students with the workforce, and integrate experiential learning. The key strength of this policy lies in its ability to empower students to develop independent learning through extracurricular activities that align with their competencies. At Yudharta Pasuruan University, MBKM has been adopted as an important strategy to enhance the quality of education while preparing graduates to be adaptive and competent in an ever-changing job market. The main aim of this research is to analyze how the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the MBKM program at Yudharta Pasuruan University contribute to improving student independence in learning. The focus of this study includes examining curriculum management, faculty support, and the university's partnerships with external organizations, which are all vital components of the MBKM program. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The data analysis process involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Yudharta Pasuruan University has successfully implemented MBKM through clear policy planning, curriculum adjustments, and the strengthening of external partnerships. Students have gained significant benefits, including increased independence in learning, enhanced critical thinking skills, improved adaptability, and valuable real-world experiences in their chosen fields. These outcomes show that the MBKM program at Yudharta Pasuruan University plays a critical role in transforming higher education, making it more relevant, sustainable, and aligned with the needs of both students and the workforce. This research underscores the importance of MBKM in encouraging the development of a more independent and competent generation of graduates.

Abstract

The study of Islamic ethics and moral philosophy has great significance in understanding the application of religious values and morality in individual and community life. In the Islamic tradition, ethics plays a role as a guide to behavior as well as a manifestation of the purpose of life to achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter that is blessed by Allah SWT. The concept of Islamic ethics is a concept that integrates the theory of obligation (deontology) and morality (morals). This concept integrates the theory of obligation (deontology) which focuses on moral rules and the theory of virtue (virtue ethics) which focuses on character development. This research aims to explore the relationship between the theories of obligation and virtue within the framework of Islamic ethics, as well as assess their relevance in addressing modern moral challenges, such as social justice, the environment, and politics. The approach used is qualitative with a literature study method, involving primary sources such as the Qur'an, Hadith, and classical Islamic literature, and comparing with Western moral theories. The results of the study show that Islamic ethics is holistic, uniting the obligations of Sharia with the development of noble morals. It offers flexible and universal moral guidance, is relevant to address global issues, and opens opportunities for constructive dialogue between Islamic ethics and contemporary moral philosophy.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze teachers' strategies in strengthening the values of religious moderation in PAI learning through the use of digital media, as well as to identify the challenges and their impacts on students' religious attitudes. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observing teaching and learning activities, conducting in-depth interviews with fifth and sixth-grade teachers and students, and documenting teaching materials and digital learning media. Data analysis is conducted descriptively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that PAI teachers at MI Fattahul Huda have implemented various digital strategies to strengthen religious moderation, including thematic YouTube videos, interactive quizzes using Quizizz and Kahoot!, student digital projects on tolerance themes, the development of digital teaching materials, and practices of digital religious literacy. Teachers also use moments of religious and national holidays as a means to strengthen peaceful and inclusive Islamic values. These strategies have proven to enhance students' active participation, reinforce the understanding of tolerance values, and cultivate a critical attitude towards religious content on social media. Thus, digital media can serve as an effective tool for instilling values of religious moderation in a contextual and in-depth manner from an early age.
