Abstract

This study has the aim of knowing the income contribution of housewives who are SMEs of Kampung Kuliner Talang Bandung and the comparison of family income after and before joining Kampung Kuliner. The method used is the survey method. Data collection using a questionnaire that will be filled by the mothers of SMEs Culinary Village with the analysis tool is the T-test. The results of this study are a comparison of income before and after following the Culinary Village with the T-test there is a real difference in family income before and after following the Culinary Village with a contribution value of housewife income to the family economy of 18% which is included in the criteria for a small contribution.

Abstract

Seblak is a typical and contemporary food originating from Bandung, West Java, made from crackers cooked with vegetables along with eggs and other spicy flavors. In its development seblak became food that can be enjoyed by many people. This study aims to determine: 1) To determine the effect of product quality, price, and location on Seblak consumer satisfaction in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. 2) To formulate a strategy to increase consumer satisfaction with Seblak in Baturaja, Ogan Kota Regency. This research method was carried out using quantitative methods and descriptive qualitative methods quantitative methods using multiple linear regression analysis. Qualitative descriptive method using data collection techniques through questionnaires and observations related to improving strategies in identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats with the SWOT method on seblak in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Through IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Strategy) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy) factors. From the results of proving the first hypothesis, product quality has a significant effect on satisfaction. From the results of the second hypothesis that price partially has a significant influence on satisfaction. From the results of proving the three hypotheses, locations partially have a significant influence on satisfaction. From the results of the fourth hypothesis, product quality, price and location simultaneously have a significant influence on satisfaction. From this study it can be seen that the calculation of the EFAS matrix is 2.0 and the IFAS matrix is 2.13 which is then depicted in the SWOT diagram, so it can be seen that the position of increasing growth in cell II indicates that the strategy is experiencing growth through horizontal integration. Horizontal integration is a process of increasing production, where this strategy, if one makes a decision, can be a good strength and a good opportunity.

Abstract

In the midst of unstable rubber prices, rubber farm laborers in Baturaden Village still depend on the wage system that is applied. There are two categories of wage systems, the first 1:1 and 1:2. Of course there is a classification in determining the two wage systems which both have advantages and disadvantages. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of family economic welfare and income inequality between farm laborers with a 1:1 and 1:2 wage system. The research location was purposively selected because most of the people in Baturaden Village work as farm laborers. The research method used was survey method with sampling method using stratified random sampling. Data collection used primary data obtained from interviews and secondary data collected from BPS, Baturaden Village Office, etc. The data was processed using the 2015 BPS indicators to measure the level of welfare and the gini ratio to measure the level of income inequality among farm laborers. Based on the results, it was found that the welfare level of each farm laborer was moderate and so was the income inequality which was also in the moderate category. This is because farm laborers have turned their brains to look for side jobs to meet the economic needs of their families. because if they continue to rely only on income as rubber farm laborers they claim to have difficulty meeting household needs where the price of basic goods is getting more and more expensive.

Abstract

This study has directions to find out the factors that influence the natural tourism of Keban Agung Island on the economy in Semidang Aji District, OKU Regency.  This research method was carried out using a quantitative method in which the research used multiple linear regression analysis.  Data was obtained from business actors in Keban Agung Village.  The results of this study are the factors that influence natural tourism on the economy in Keban Agung Village, namely there are four factors in cluding: the number of purchases, receipts, the number of visitors and community businesses.  Of the four factors, three factors have a significant effect on the economy in Keban Agung Village, namely the number of purchases, receipts and the number of visitors, and one factor does not have a significant effect on the economy in Keban Agung Village, namely the community business factor.

Abstract

This study has directions to find out the factors that influence the demand for shelled corn (hybrid) in OKU Regency. This research method was carried out using a quantitative method in which the research used multiple linear regression analysis. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and data obtained from shelled corn traders in the upper market and in the new market. The results of this study are the factors that influence the demand for loose corn (hybrid) in East Baturaja, namely there are 3 factors including: the price of shelled corn, quality and price of pur chicken. Of the three factors that greatly influence the price of corn at a real level of 1 rupiah, it will reduce the demand for shelled corn by -94.701 kg. The average income of traders at retail stores in East Baturaja is IDR 398,986 per year.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the relationship between resilience and sustainability of culinary MSEs through digital transformation in South Sumatra Province. Research Methodology: Sample selection with criteria, namely respondent had been having business for at least 5 years, had passed fluctuating conditions such as surviving covid conditions, rising inflation, monetary policy and so on. The number of samples was 130 MSEs, which were local culinary businesses. Knowing the relationship of each variable X to variable Y was tested using structural equation Modelling (SEM-PLS) analysis. Results: This study found a resilience relationship with digital transformation of 0.834 and a sustainability relationship with digital transformation of 0.400. The relationship between resilience and digital transformation was stronger than that between sustainability and digital transformation. The main cause was that MSEs lacked long-term commitment, and it was difficult for them to grow in dynamic environmental and social conditions while also focusing on profits. Digital transformation in MSEs was defensive rather than supporting holistic sustainability, limited sustainable resources simultaneously, and integrated with digital transformation. Therefore, MSE actors need to be educated, trained, and given guidance in changing mindset and social behavior for the long-term sustainability of MSEs. Limitations: The study was limited to culinary MSEs in South Sumatra and used non-probability sampling, which may have affected generalizability. Contribution: This study revealed that resilience had a stronger influence than sustainability in driving digital transformation among culinary MSEs. Novelty: This study offers a novel perspective by integrating resilience and sustainability in analyzing digital transformation within culinary MSEs.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the skills and knowledge of Gunung Kuripan Village residents in ornamental plant propagation techniques, especially through the grafting method on bougainvillea. This activity was motivated by the high public interest in ornamental plants with economic value but still limited understanding of efficient vegetative propagation techniques. Through an educational and demonstrative approach, 20 participants were given direct training starting from selecting rootstocks and scions, cutting techniques, grafting, to post-grafting care. The evaluation results showed that after 14 days, most of the grafts showed positive growth in the form of new shoots and good tissue unity. This technique allows one plant to produce various flower colors, increasing the aesthetic and commercial value of bougainvillea. This innovation is also a solution to limited planting space and strengthening opportunities for household-scale ornamental plant entrepreneurship. Thus, this activity succeeded in providing applicable technology transfer with the output of grafted plants, increasing community capacity in the field of horticulture, and encouraging the development of a creative economy based on ornamental plants. This service is expected to be an educational model that can be replicated in other areas with similar potential.ABSTRAKPengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan warga Desa Gunung Kuripan dalam teknik perbanyakan tanaman hias, khususnya melalui metode sambung pucuk (grafting) pada bougenville. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap tanaman hias bernilai ekonomis namun masih terbatasnya pemahaman terhadap teknik perbanyakan vegetatif yang efisien. Melalui pendekatan edukatif dan demonstratif, peserta yang berjumlah 20 orang diberikan pelatihan langsung mulai dari pemilihan batang bawah dan atas, teknik pemotongan, penyambungan, hingga perawatan pasca-grafting. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa setelah 14 hari, sebagian besar sambungan menunjukkan pertumbuhan positif berupa tunas baru dan kesatuan jaringan yang baik. Teknik ini memungkinkan satu tanaman menghasilkan berbagai warna bunga, meningkatkan nilai estetika dan komersial bougenville. Inovasi ini juga menjadi solusi terhadap keterbatasan ruang tanam serta memperkuat peluang wirausaha tanaman hias skala rumah tangga. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan transfer teknologi yang aplikatif dengan luaran hasil tanaman yang telah di sambung pucuk, meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat di bidang hortikultura, serta mendorong pengembangan ekonomi kreatif berbasis tanaman hias. Pengabdian ini diharapkan menjadi model edukatif yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan potensi serupa.

Abstract

Penggemukan sapi secara lepas liar memberikan keleluasaan ternak untuk hidup secara alami karena dapat bergerak dengan bebas yang berbeda dengan sapi yang selalu berada pada kandang. Pengeluaran untuk perawatan ternak lebih ekonomis karena pakan dapat disediakan dengan memanfaatkan tanaman di sekitar area penggembalaan. Cara lepas liar dalam beternak sapi selain cocok untuk peternak yang memiliki keterbatasan sumberdaya lahan dan juga sangat baik dilakukan pada lahan yang belum termanfaatkan secara optimal. Keberdaan sapi di lahan perkebunan dapat berfungsi untuk mengendalikan pertumbuhan rumput atau tanaman lainnya yang tidak diinginkan, sementara kotoran sapi dapat menjadi pupuk yang mendukung kesuburan tanah.Berdasarkan manfaat-manfaat penggemukan sapi liar dan minimalisasi biaya pakan ternak perlu dikaji kelayakan usaha secara ekonomi, agar memberikan informasi dalam pengambilan keputusan bagi pelaku usaha dan pemerintah. Penelitian ini menggunakan persamaan matematika sebagai pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengukur biaya-biaya yang dikeluarkan, dan perhitungan R/C rasio serta B/C rasio untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan usaha penggemukan sapi. Data dikumpulkan dari 21 unit usaha yang ditentukan secara acak sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa biaya tetap dalam penggemukan sapi secara lepas liar terdiri dari biaya kandang, peralatan, kendaraan bermotor, dan anakan sapi. Sementara biaya tidak tetap terdiri dari obat-obatan dan bahan bakar minyak (BBM). Menurut perhitungan R/C rasio diperoleh nilai 1.99, dan perhitungan B/C rasio menunjukkan nilai 0,99. Dengan demikian penggemukan sapi dengan cara lepas liar layak dikembangkan. Untuk penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan analisis dengan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar agar ditemukan adanya dampak penurunan penerimaan karena masalah lain seperti gangguan kesehatan yang tidak ditemukan pada penelitian ini.

Abstract

Acidic soils are one of the major constraints in agricultural development in tropical regions, including in Tanjung Sari Village, Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency. Field surveys indicated that most farmlands in this village have soil pH ranging from 4.5 to 5.0, which is categorized as acidic. This condition negatively affects nutrient availability, microbial activity, and the productivity of food and horticultural crops. One of the recommended practices to overcome this problem is the application of agricultural lime (liming). This activity aimed to improve farmers’ knowledge and skills regarding the benefits, dosage, and techniques of lime application, as well as to directly improve soil pH through field demonstration. The method consisted of three stages: preparation (survey and soil analysis), implementation (training, extension, and field practice), and evaluation (measurement of soil pH and assessment of farmers’ knowledge improvement). The training materials included soil pH concepts, its influence on crop growth, types of agricultural lime, calculation of lime requirements, and proper application techniques. The results of this activity indicated an increase in farmers’ understanding of the importance of liming and an improvement in soil pH in demonstration plots after lime application. In conclusion, liming practices in Tanjung Sari Village proved beneficial for improving soil quality and supporting sustainable agricultural productivity. It is expected that farmers will be able to apply this technology independently in the future, with continuous support from local government through the provision of agricultural lime.ABSTRAKTanah masam merupakan salah satu kendala utama dalam pengembangan pertanian di daerah tropis, termasuk di Desa Tanjung Sari, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU). Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar lahan pertanian di desa ini memiliki pH tanah berkisar antara 4,5–5,0, yang tergolong masam dan berdampak negatif terhadap penyerapan unsur hara, aktivitas mikroorganisme, serta produktivitas tanaman pangan dan hortikultura. Salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki kondisi tersebut adalah melalui pemberian kapur pertanian atau pengapuran. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani mengenai manfaat, dosis, dan teknik aplikasi kapur pertanian, sekaligus memperbaiki pH tanah melalui penerapan langsung di lahan. Metode kegiatan meliputi tahap persiapan (survei dan analisis tanah), pelaksanaan (penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan praktik lapangan), serta evaluasi (pengukuran pH tanah dan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta). Materi kegiatan mencakup konsep pH tanah, pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman, jenis kapur pertanian, perhitungan dosis kapur, serta teknik aplikasi di lapangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman petani mengenai peran kapur pertanian, serta adanya perbaikan pH tanah di lahan percontohan setelah pengapuran. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengapuran di Desa Tanjung Sari terbukti bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kualitas tanah dan mendukung produktivitas pertanian berkelanjutan. Ke depan, diharapkan petani dapat menerapkan teknologi ini secara mandiri dan pemerintah daerah dapat memberikan dukungan melalui penyediaan kapur pertanian secara berkelanjutan.
