Abstract

This study aimed to describe the link between the recruitment and selection of Special Guidance Teachers (GPK) and the implementation of inclusive education in primary schools. Ten GPK in SD Labschool UPI Tasikmalaya City were interviewed and given questionnaires. The data was analyzed quantitatively, descriptively, and in terms of correlation. Both variables obtained high scores based on data processing results (management of GPK selection recruitment and implementation of inclusive education). The measured correlation between the two variables is 0.928, showing that the recruiting management carried out on GPK has a significant impact, implying that good recruitment and selection management will support the successful implementation of inclusive education held at SD Labschool UPI Tasikmalaya.Keywords: recruitment and selection, Special Guidance Teacher, Inclusive education, Primary school

Abstract

The aim of this research was to examine the effectiveness of the Tactical Games learning model combined with the Teaching by Invitation technique in boosting both learning motivation and physical activity among elementary school students. This quasi-experimental study included three groups: the first group utilized the Tactical Games model integrated with the Teaching by Invitation technique, the second group applied solely the Tactical Games learning model, and the third group, serving as the control, followed the conventional learning model. Participants were fifth-grade students from three different schools in Tasikmalaya, Indonesia. To measure outcomes, three research instruments were employed: the Electronic Rubric for Motivation in Physical Education (eRMoPE) to assess learning motivation, the Polar GPS RC3, and the Polar Heart Rate Sensor H3 to evaluate the category of students' physical activity. Findings indicated that while all three approaches effectively enhanced learning motivation and physical activity, the combination of the Tactical Games model with the Teaching by Invitation technique yielded superior improvements. This integrative method grants students the autonomy to select skills they wish to learn and master, aligning with their abilities and understanding of game tactics adapted to specific game situations and environments. This freedom fosters a more engaging and personalized learning experience, ultimately enhancing both motivation and physical activity levels among students. The study highlights the potential benefits of blending tactical learning strategies with motivational techniques, suggesting a valuable approach for educators aiming to improve physical education outcomes in elementary schools

Abstract

In every sporting event there is always an event identity that is able to represent the image of the region and country in its implementation. The purpose of this study is to explore the case study of PON XXI 2024 within the framework of achievement development. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Participants in the study consisted of elite athletes (PON Program), coaches, officials, and sports policy academics with a total of 12 participants. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, document studies. Data analysis techniques used in this study include data reduction analysis, data presentation, drawing conclusions assisted by the Nvivo application. The results of this study, the integration of DBON strategies starting from talent identification, athlete career advancement, and multi-level competition opportunities. In the context of DBON development, the role of the central government, regions, and KONI cannot be ignored. The unity of stakeholders functions as the main manager who coordinates and integrates all aspects of DBON, both at the central and regional levels

Abstract

Sosialisasi dan pelatihan Sport Education Model (SEM) berbasis materi kearifan budaya lokal dilakukan sebagai upaya Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila Pancasila (P5) pada peserta didik. Model pembelajaran ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai budaya lokal melalui aktivitas olahraga, sehingga siswa tidak hanya mengembangkan keterampilan fisik tetapi juga karakter yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Dengan Kurikulum Merdeka memungkinkan sekolah untuk berkolaborasi lebih erat dengan komunitas lokal mereka serta memahami kebutuhan dan tantangan yang dihadapi, kurikulum juga dapat dirancang untuk mencakup pembelajaran yang lebih relevan dan praktis yang mendukung pencapaian SDG. Maka dari itu tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk penyebarluasan SEM berbasis materi kearifan budaya lokal untuk penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila di sekolah dan masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi/seminar, pelatihan/workshop dan simulasi. Sasarannya adalah guru olahraga SD, pegiat olahraga serta mahasiswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini meningkatan pemahaman kepada guru terkait implementasi SEM berbasis materi kearifan budaya lokal untuk penguatan P5 di Sekolah Dasar serta meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran inovatif berupa perangkat pembelajaran beroroentasi P5. Kegiatan ini juga menghasilkan naskah Implementasi Kerjasama antara Prodi S1 PGSD UPI Kampus Tasikmalaya dengan S1dan S2 Pendidikan Jasmani UNSUR

Abstract

Pembentukan karakter pada anak usia dini menjadi tantangan kompleks di era modern akibat pengaruh teknologi dan perubahan pola asuh dalam keluarga. Untuk menghadapi tantangan tersebut, diperlukan pendekatan holistik dalam pola asuh anak, termasuk program yang melibatkan peran aktif orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kontribusi program parenting terhadap pendidikan karakter anak usia dini dengan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Sebanyak 11 artikel relevan diseleksi melalui kriteria inklusi-eksklusi dan metode PRISMA. Artikel diperoleh dari pencarian kata kunci relevan di Google Scholar menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan tematik, yaitu identifikasi pola dan tema utama dari artikel yang terpilih, meliputi pendekatan, hasil yang dicapai, serta relevansi program parenting terhadap pembentukan karakter anak. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa program parenting mempunyai peran yang signifikan dalam memperluas pengetahuan orang tua, mempererat hubungan antara keluarga dan sekolah, serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pembentukan karakter anak. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa teknologi digital, seperti platform pembelajaran dare dan media sosial, dapat membantu orang tua dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter anak dengan menyediakan panduan pengasuhan yang mudah diakses. Implikasi penelitian ini pentingnya program parenting yang terstruktur untuk mensinergikan pendidikan di rumah dan sekolah, mendukung perkembangan karakter anak, dan mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi tantangan masa depan.   Character formation in early childhood is a complex challenge in the modern era due to the influence of technology and changes in family parenting patterns. To face these challenges, a holistic approach is needed in childcare patterns, including programs that involve the active role of parents. This study aims to analyze the contribution of parenting programs to early childhood character education using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. A total of 11 relevant articles were selected through inclusion-exclusion criteria and the PRISMA method. Articles were obtained by searching for relevant keywords on Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish application. Data analysis was carried out using a thematic approach, namely identifying the main patterns and themes of the selected articles, including the approach, results achieved, and the relevance of parenting programs to children's character formation. The results of the study revealed that parenting programs have a significant role in expanding parents' knowledge, strengthening the relationship between family and school, and making a positive contribution to children's character formation. In addition, this study found that digital technology, such as the Dare learning platform and social media, can help parents support children's character formation by providing easily accessible parenting guides. The implication of this research is the importance of a structured parenting program to synergize education at home and school, support children's character development, and prepare them to face future challenges.

Abstract

Traditional games not only hold rich cultural values but also serve as an effective learning medium to instill moral values in early childhood. This research aims to identify how the integration of traditional games in learning at RA Al Anbiya can help bring children's morals to life. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that traditional games such as cranklek, congklak, and gobak sodor are able to encourage the development of moral values such as honesty, responsibility, cooperation, and respect. Teachers at RA Al Anbiya play an important role in designing traditional game-based learning, ensuring that each game is linked to the learning of moral values. In addition, parental involvement is also a supporting factor in the success of this integration. This research confirms that traditional games are not just a source of entertainment but also an effective tool for shaping children's character. Thus, the integration of traditional games in early childhood education institutions can be an innovative strategy to support holistic moral education.

Abstract

The importance of early childhood as a critical period for the development of children’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional abilities cannot be overstated. This phase is significantly influenced by various environmental factors, including family, community, and physical surroundings. However, the reality in the field highlights disparities in the quality of environments experienced by children, particularly in areas with limited economic resources or access to educational and healthcare facilities. This study aims to analyze the influence of the environment on early childhood development. It employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, a specific research methodology used to collect and evaluate various studies relevant to the research focus. In this study, the researcher examines 10 topics related to the research title. The environment has a significant impact on early childhood development, as this stage involves rapid physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth in children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbentuk komik digital berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Partisipan penelitian meliputi peserta didik dan guru kelas IV SDN 3 Pusakasari, serta ahli materi dan ahli media. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Analisis kebutuhan mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran digital belum optimal, sehingga diperlukan media berbasis CTL untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam memahami materi. Komik digital dipilih sebagai media yang inovatif dan menarik. (2) Tahap desain meliputi penyusunan garis besar program media, pengembangan storyboard, perancangan tampilan, dan pemilihan karakter. (3) Tahap pengembangan dilakukan dengan pembuatan konten menggunakan Canva, yang kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Validasi ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan relevan dengan revisi, sementara validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 80%, yang berarti media tersebut layak digunakan dengan beberapa perbaikan. (4) Tahap implementasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik sangat antusias dalam pembelajaran menggunakan komik digital, dan guru memberikan respon sangat positif terhadap efektivitas media ini. (5) Tahap evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa media komik digital dapat meningkatkan minat baca peserta didik serta menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang menarik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education in primary schools requires continuous teacher professional development, of which the Learning Community program is believed to be effective. However, the effectiveness of Learning Communities is strongly influenced by managerial strategies, including integrating In-house Training (IHT). This study analyzes the importance of IHT managerial strategies in supporting the effectiveness and sustainability of Learning Community programs in primary schools. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study research type. A descriptive-analytical approach was applied to analyze and synthesize information from various literature sources relevant to primary school managerial strategies, IHT, and Learning Community programs. The data collection technique was document review, and data analysis was conducted through content analysis and data synthesis. The results of the literature analysis show that IHT managerial strategies play an important role in building the foundation of Learning Communities, developing collaboration and facilitation skills, and introducing learning innovations. The effectiveness of IHT integration in Learning Communities depends on careful planning, strong school leadership, and a comprehensive managerial strategy. This literature review concludes that the IHT managerial strategy is crucial in empowering Learning Community programs in primary schools. Effective and well-integrated IHT implementation in Learning Communities, supported by strong management, has the potential to improve learning quality and teacher professionalism significantly.

Abstract

This study examines the role of sign language as the main means of communication and reflection of the character of deaf children in SLB ABC Argasari Lestari. The main problem faced is children's limitations in conveying emotions and needs verbally, so the research aims to understand how sign language supports the development of children's confidence, social interaction, and character. This study uses a qualitative approach using the case study method, involving direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that sign language is not only a communication tool but also reflects the unique personality of each child. Children who actively use sign language show increased confidence and the ability to interact with the environment. In addition, values such as empathy, responsibility, and courage develop through teacher guidance. Teachers play an important role in guiding the effective and ethical use of sign language. This finding confirms that sign language is a medium that supports character development and social integration of deaf children, as well as showing their uniqueness to the community
