Abstract

One of MAN 2 Karanganyar's efforts in helping students improve students' public speaking skills can be done at school through various forms of activities, one of which is speech or khitobah activities. This paper describes the relevance of khitobah activities to students' public speaking skills at MAN 2 Karanganyar. The purpose of this paper is to describe the khitobah activities at MAN 2 Karanganyar, the obstacles experienced and the supporting factors and their relevance to the public speaking skills of MAN 2 Karanganyar students. The data sources of this research are rohis members, students who have served and supervising teachers. The research methods used in this research are interviews and direct observation. The results of this study indicate that the positive impact felt by students who berkhitobah is their public speaking skills are increasing, namely their religious knowledge is increasing because students also indirectly while learning religion through khitobah dzuhur activities. Learners also learn to understand how the method and how to give a good speech or khitobah.

Abstract

In order to improve the quality of learning and student achievement in the classroom and at school, educational planning is an important aspect that must be considered. This includes infrastructure and facilities. This study aims to analyze the planning of Islamic education facilities and infrastructure. The method used in this research is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach. Based on the results of the research, facilities and infrastructure are one of the factors that can improve the quality of educational institutions and students in addition to curriculum, methods, educators and education personnel. Facilities and infrastructure should be tailored to the needs and in line with the vision and mission of the educational institution itself. To achieve educational goals, adequate educational facilities and infrastructure are needed, including planning, goals and benefits, planning principles, procedures, classification, procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure. Procurement of planned facilities and infrastructure will produce good and appropriate facilities and infrastructure, so that the teaching and learning process will be successful with the support of adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study was aimed to find out students’ perceptions on the use of Facebook group in writing activities. The design of this study was a qualitative research with a case study. This study was conducted at one of senior high schools in Palembang, with two eleventh-grade students of natural science class and two students of social science class by using maximum variation sampling technique. In collecting data, one-on-one interview with open-ended questions through phone was used in this study. The data were analyzed by using thematic analysis in the form of codes and themes. The findings of the study demonstrated that students perceived the use of Facebook in writing activities brought both benefits and drawbacks. The benefits were (1) Facebook group assisted the students in the process of writing in terms of planning, drafting, and final version, (2) Facebook group facilitated the students to practice the component of writing in terms of organization, content, spelling, vocabulary, and grammar, (3) Facebook group encouraged students’ participation, (4) Facebook group boosted students’ motivation and confidence to write, and (5) Facebook group was easy to access because of steady internet connection. Nevertheless, the drawbacks of the Facebook group in writing activities as perceived by the students covered (1) Facebook group did not promote the editing process of writing, (2) Facebook group did not assist the students in using capitalization and punctuation, (3) the students got distracted by other features of Facebook, and (4) the students received slow feedbacks for their writing from the teacher and classmates.

Abstract

This research examines the comparative effectiveness of traditional and digital media in introducing local cultural heritage to the younger generation. With the rapid digitalization of media consumption, it is crucial to understand how different media forms influence the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage among youth. The study explores the strengths and limitations of traditional media (e.g., TV, radio, print) and digital media (e.g., social media, online platforms, mobile apps) in fostering engagement with cultural heritage. Findings suggest that while traditional media remains an authoritative source for cultural knowledge, it struggles to capture the attention of younger audiences, who prefer the interactive, engaging nature of digital media. On the other hand, digital media offers greater flexibility and reach but faces challenges related to content authenticity and fragmentation. A hybrid approach combining both media forms is recommended to effectively promote local cultural heritage, with a focus on creating engaging, interactive, and educational content that resonates with youth. The research highlights the need for collaboration between cultural institutions, educators, and media producers, as well as the importance of policy actions supporting media literacy, local content creation, and cross-media campaigns. This study contributes to the understanding of how media can be strategically used to preserve and promote cultural heritage in the digital age.

Abstract

Penyakit demam berdarah dengue (DBD) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang menjadi masalah di masyarakat. Nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus merupakan nyamuk yang berperan utama sebagai vektor penyakit demam berdarah dengue (DBD). Telah banyak upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencegah tingginya kasus DBD, baik secara biologi, kimia, fisika/mekanik serta usaha-usaha lain oleh manusia. Program pemerintah yang dicanangkan yaitu 4M plus, diantaranya menggunakan predator ikan pemakan jentik nyamuk. Pemanfaatan ikan sebagai predator alami larva nyamuk adalah salah satu cara pengendalian secara biologi yang mudah untuk dilakukan oleh masyarakat. Metode pengendalaian secara biologis ini dapat mengurangi kepadatan larva nyamuk serta tidak menimbulkan masalah bagi kesehatan lingkungan. Tujuan dari pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada mitra (siswa di SDN 2 Metro Timur) terkait tentang nyamuk Aedes sp dan pencegahan DBD dengan 4M plus sehingga pencegahan DBD dapat dilakukan secara dini.                Solusi yang ditawarkan kepada mitra pada kegiatan ini yaitu memberi pengetahuan tentang morfologi telur hingga dewasa nyamuk Aedes sp, habitat, perilaku harian nyamuk. Selain itu pengenalan terhadap predator/ pemakan jentik nyamuk Aedes sp. Ikan predator yang digunakan yaitu ikan cupang (Betta sp). Metode pada kegiatan ini adalah dengan presentasi dan diskusi tanya jawab. Dibagikan brosur tentang pengendalian nyamuk Aedes sp, serta pembagian ikan cupang.  Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan dapat memberikan tambahan pengetahuan kepada mitra (siswa SDN 2 Metro Timur) tentang DBD dan ikan predator jentik nyamuk sebagai salah satu upaya alternatif pencegahan terhadap kasus DBD di lingkungan sekolahan.

Abstract

Religious moderation is the key to the emergence of balance for the maintenance of civilisation that creates peace, so it is necessary to instill the values of religious moderation to students, including through textbooks. The data source of this research is the textbook of al-Qur'an hadis class XI Madrasah Aliyah published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in 2000. The research method used in this study uses the library research method, which is research based on processed manuscripts (manuscript studies), facts and primary and secondary data (supporting data) related to the focus of research. The results of this study indicate that nine values of religious moderation namely tawasuth, i'tidal, tasamuh, shura, ishlah, qudwah, muwathanah, al-la'unf and i'tiraf al-'urf have been contained in the textbook, although the number of distribution of these values has not been evenly distributed. This research can be useful in fostering the values of religious moderation in students by using the reference of Al-Qur'an Hadith textbooks properly, so that students are able to apply and appreciate the value of religious moderation effectively.

Abstract

A curriculum innovation is a specific and recent idea, idea or action carried out in a curricular area. This innovation is designed to solve the problem of education. When there is a problem of the lack of self-confidence of the students of Madrasah Aliyah State 2 Karanganyar, then it is felt necessary to innovate the curriculum of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) by holding routine changes for students in turn. This method of research uses qualitative descriptive research that explains what happens in accordance with the facts on the ground. Data collection techniques are done through observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the research show that the innovation of the PAI curriculum based on the practice of chitobah runs well and has a positive impact on students. Chitobah is running on schedule, although there are some obstacles, but there can be solutions.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Pemanfaatan limbah kayu di Desa Cipancuh, Kecamatan Haurgeulis, menjadi tantangan bagi masyarakat karena limbah seperti serbuk gergaji dan potongan kayu kecil sering kali terbuang tanpa dimanfaatkan. Di sisi lain, kebutuhan akan bahan bakar alternatif yang ramah lingkungan semakin meningkat. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengolah limbah kayu menjadi briket pemanggang sate dengan nilai ekonomi tinggi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi limbah, meningkatkan kesejahteraan, dan mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan. Metode: Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan melibatkan metode partisipatif. Hasil: Adanya peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, penurunan emisi karbon dari pembakaran bahan bakar tradisional, dan keberlanjutan usaha. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini bermanfaat karena dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterikatan peserta didik dengan prestasi akademik pada peserta didik di SMAN 2 Kandangan. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan simple random sampling, yaitu subjek peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 2 Kandangan sebanyak 109 peserta didik. Metode analisis  data menggunakan korelasi product moment dari KarllPerson dan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala keterikatan peserta didik dan nilai rapor peserta didik untuk prestasi akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan hubungan antara kejenuhan pada peserta didik SMAN 2 Kandangan memiliki korelasi 0,594 dan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Nilai ini menunjukan bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan yang sedang dan positif antara kedua variabel, artinya semakin rendah keterikatan peserta didik maka akan semakin rendah prestasi akademik, sebaliknya jika semakin tinggi keterikatan peserta didik maka akan semakintinggi prestasi akademik. Hubungan antara keterikatan peserta didik dengan prestasi akademik adalah sebesar 35,3 % sedangkan 64,7% sisanya adalah dari faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. Saran penelitian ini adalah mampu untuk memahami dan menilai dirinya dalam kesadaran peserta didik akan pentingnya keterikatan peserta didik dengan demikian prestasi akademik peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

Nilai karakter di dunia pendidikan sekarang ini menjadi permasalahan yang perlu mendapatkan penanganan maupun tindak lanjut sesegera mungkin karena sudah terjadi penurunan sikap saling menghargai dan menghormati antar pihak, menurunnya sikap disipin dan juga memudarnya kejujuran. Oleh karena itu diharapkan bahwa program PPK (Penguatan Pendidikan karakter) di sekolah dasar diharapkan mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menerapkan kelima nilai-nilai PPK pada mata pelajaran Pancasila kelas 1 di SD Negeri Panggung Lor Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini mempergunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan, yaitu mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan pengambilan simpulan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bila mana lima nilai pendidikan karakter telah diterapkan di kelas 1 SD Negeri Panggung Lor diantaranya nilai religius, nasionalisme, gotong royong, mandiri, dan integritas.
