Abstract

This study explores the formation of critical awareness among high school students from marginalized backgrounds in the context of sociology learning. Motivated by the socioeconomic limitations that often hinder reflective thinking and understanding of social injustice, the research employs a qualitative exploratory descriptive approach. Data were collected through open-ended online questionnaires completed by 85 students from low-income families in Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi. Thematic analysis reveals three stages of critical awareness development: (1) initial awareness, recognizing social injustice; (2) critical analysis, fostered through real-life case learning; and (3) orientation to action, though still limited to activities like information sharing or peer discussions. Key supporting factors include teachers’ reflective questioning, relevance of learning materials, and peer solidarity, while main barriers involve limited access to literature and low reading habits. The study concludes that sociology learning can effectively foster critical awareness among marginalized students, with outcomes shaped by instructional strategies and access to knowledge. It highlights the importance of contextual, participatory learning designs and calls for further mixed-methods research to deepen insights into the dynamics of critical awareness formation.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan limbah plastik untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas  siswa di SD Negeri 45 Buton.  Metode dilakukan dengan sosialisasi, menyampaikan materi, mendemonstrasikan kegiatan serta melakukan ecalusi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa untuk menumbuhkan jiwa keterampilan dan kreatifitas siswa sekolah dasar dan untuk menggerakan kesadaran siswa dalam pengelolaan limbah yang ada di sekitar agar menjadi barang yang bermanfaat bahkan memiliki nilai jual. Selain menjadi barang yang bermanfaat, dapat pula mengurangi sampah yang ada di sekitar. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong siswa untuk mengembangkan limbah yang bermanfaat yang ada di lingkungan sekitar menjadi barang yang bermanfaat dan dapat memberikan motivasi bagi masyarakat khususnya siswa sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya dan berkarya sehingga mendatangkan manfaat bagi dirinya dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model pembelajaran inquiry terbimbing berbantuan pictorial riddle, 2) Mendeskripsikan perbedaan pemahaman konsep peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry terbimbing berbantuan pictorial riddle, 3) Mendeskripsikan efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry terbimbing dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik di SMAN 14 Bulukumba. Jenis Penelitian ini tergolong jenis penelitian pra eksperimen yang merupakan penelitian yang hanya menggunakan satu kelas dengan subjek yaitu peserta didik kelas XI.1 SMAN 14 Bulukumba. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Tes Pemahaman Konsep. Selanjutnya Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Rata-rata pemahaman konsep pada pretest sebesar 38,85 yang tergolong pada kategori rendah, untuk nilai posttest diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,85 yang tergolong pada kategori sedang. 2) Uji hipotesis dengan uji paired samples t-test diperoleh nilai thitung 20,63 dan ttabel 2,05. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep peserta didik sebelum dan setelah diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry terbimbing berbantuan pictorial riddle. 3) Nilai rata-rata N-Gain score sebesar 64%, dalam hal ini berada pada kategori cukup efektif. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inquiry terbimbing berbantuan pictorial riddle cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik di SMAN 14 Bulukumba. Penggunaan model pembelajaran inquiry terbimbing berbantuan pictorial riddle dalam proses pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik , sehingga penelitian ini mampu menjadi acuan untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan gambaran gaya mengajar guru fisika kelas XII SMAN 9 Gowa; (2) mendeskripsikan gambaran motivasi belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 9 Gowa; (3) mendeskripsikan gambaran hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 9 Gowa; (4) mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh gaya mengajar guru terhadap motivasi belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 9 Gowa; (5) mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh gaya mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XII di SMAN 9 Gowa; (6) mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh gaya mengajar guru terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XII di SMAN 9 Gowa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 254 orang dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 66 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah instrumen angket gaya mengajar teknologis dan motivasi belajar fisika serta dokumentasi nilai raport fisika peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran gaya mengajar teknologis guru fisika kelas XII SMAN 9 Gowa dominan berada pada kategori baik, motivasi belajar fisika peserta didik dominan berada pada kategori baik, dan hasil belajar fisikanya dominan berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Sementara itu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan anatar gaya mengajar teknologis terhadap motivasi belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 9 Gowa dengan nilai signifikansi uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana (0.35 < 0.05) dengan besar pengaruhnya yaitu 0.67%. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan anatar gaya mengajar teknologis terhadap hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 9 Gowa dengan nilai signifikansi uji hipotesis (0.000 < 0.05) dengan besar pengaruhnya yaitu 33.1%. Dan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara gaya mengajar teknologis terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 9 Gowa dengan nilai signifikansi uji manova (0.000 < 0.05) dengan besar pengaruhnya yaitu 36%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau R&D (Research and Development) yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan Video pembelajaran berbasis kearifa lokal pada materi suhu dan kalor kelas XI UPT SMAN 3 Takalar dengan kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Desain pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate). Subjek utama penelitian terdiri dari 2 orang validator yang menilai video pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal dari aspek penyajian isi, aspek kelayakan isi, aspek kebahasaan dan aspek kegrafikan. Tahapan pengembangan meliputi perancangan (desain) bahan ajar, pengembangan (develop), validasi oleh ahli materi dan media melalui angket serta revisi berdasarkan masukan dari para ahli sebelum diuji coba ke peserta didik. Uji coba dilaksanaka oleh 33 peserta didik kelas XI UPT SMAN 3 Takalar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket validasi dari ahli materi dan ahli media, angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik, serta tes hasil belajar untuk mengukur keefektifan video pembelajaran. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat valid. Hasil angket kepraktisan juga menunjukkan bahwa video tersebut praktis dan mudah digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 80% peserta didik mencapai nilai di atas Kriteria Ketuntasan Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP), yang berarti video pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep suhu dan kalor.

Abstract

This research conducted action research (classroom action research) in addition, to solve the problem of active physics learning in class.The research subjects used were students of class X electricity at SMK Negeri 6 Takalar even semester of the 2015/2016, totaling 22 students. This research was conducted in two cycles and at the end of each cycle a reflection was made of the actions given.Data collection techniques in this study used observation sheets, daily journals and questionnaires for student responses.The results showed that the implementation of learning using problem-based learning models in physics subjects could increase the learning activeness of students, such as 1) students pay attention to the explanations of teachers and other students in cycle I by 65.53% to 82.57% in cycle II, 2) students who are active in discussion activities during the learning process from cycle I are 65.52%. to 77.64% in cycle II, 3) students dare to ask questions from 45.83% to 66.29% in cycle II, 4) Dare to ask questions in cycle I amounted to 46.97% to 68.18% per cycle II, 5) Students are able to solve problems in cycle I from 58.71% to 74.24% in cycle II.

Abstract

The Adiwiyata program is a program prepared by the government in the world of education and creates responsible school citizens in environmental management efforts. SMA Negeri 10 Bulukumba is a school that has implemented the Adiwiyata program. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine the implementation of curriculum policies related to the concept of adiwiyata in physical learning 2) To determine the implementation of teachers in the integrated physics learning process the concept of adiwiyata. 3)To find out the behavior of students in learning physics with the integration of the concept of adiwiyat. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with ethnographic method. Collecting data using interviews, observation documentation, triangulation. The data analysis technique used in this study was done by analyzing domain and taxonomy results showed that the Adiwiyata curriculum policy in physics learning refers to educational programs, such as graduation competency standards, content standards, process standards, educators and education personnel standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, management standards, education financing standards, educational assessment standards. The implementation of physics subjects with environmentalinsight is integrated into physics subjects through learning activities in the classroomis seen by solving environmental problems using the concept of physicsand outside the classroom is carried out by utilizing the school environment as a physics learning laboratory. But not all physical materials can be integrated with the environment but only certain materials. Student behavior in Adiwiyata learning is seen from student learning to have an attitude of caring for the environment and changing student habits by instilling character values to protect the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Thisstudy aims to describe students' critical thinking skills in solving thermodynamic problems after applying the SQ3R learning model (survey, question, read, recite, review) combined with reading literacy. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were 31 students of class XI IPA 3 of SMAN 1 Maros. The data collection technique used is a multiple choice objective test of 15 numbers consisting of indicators of critical thinking ability: giving simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding, making further explanations, making strategies and concept techniques that include aspects of the ability to analyze and evaluate. Based on data analysis, it was found that the average critical thinking skills of students in thermodynamics learning were 79.80 in the high category, with details as follows: (1) The percentage of students who had a very high level of critical thinking skills was 19. ,35%, high category 80.65%, medium category 0%, low category 0% very low category 0%; (2) The percentage of students' ability to answer questions on indicators of ability to provide simple explanations is 95%, basic skills are 100%, conclude 72%, make further explanations 73% and the ability to make strategies and concepts 45%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of critical thinking skill of students who are taught with the SQ3R learning model (Survey, Question, Read, Recite Review) and conventional learning models combined with reading literacy, knowing the differences in critical thinking skills of students who are taught with SQ3R learning model (Survey, Question, Read, Recite Review) and those taught with conventional learning models combined with reading literacy and to find out the effectiveness of the SQ3R learning model combined with reading literacy on critical thinking skills. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research, with a Nonequivalent Control Group research design. The sample of this study was students at SMAN 1 Maros consisting of two classes selected using a purposive sampling technique, namely class XI IPA 2 as the control class and class XI IPA 3 as an experimental class. The instruments used are tests of critical thinking skills, observation sheets and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive data analysis, the mean difference test with the independent sample t-test and the N-Gain test. The results showed that the average critical thinking ability of students in the experimental class was 36.64 in the pre-test and 79.80 in the post-test while for the controller class, the value of the pre-test was 41.09 and the post-test was 79.53. From the average pre-test to post-test results in the experimental class increased by 43.16 while the control class increased by 38.44. The results of the average difference test for critical thinking skills obtained a significance of 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in critical thinking skills between the experimental class and the control class. From the results of the N-gain test for the experimental class it was 67 in the quite effective category and for the controller class it was 65 in the quite effective category. Thus, from the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of the SQ3R model (Survey, Question, Read, Recite Review) combined with reading literacy is quite effective in increasing critical thinking skills.

Abstract

A practicum is a learning activity that involves observing an experiment or testing a concept inside or outside the laboratory. A virtual practicum is a practicum activity that is carried out virtually. The use of learning models in practicum also affects the activeness of students. One virtual practicum that can be used is Everycircuit, which uses discovery learning. The research objectives are to determine the learning outcomes of physics education study program students class of 2022 before using Everycircuit-based virtual practicum media in discovery learning in Basic Electonics courses, to determine the learning outcomes of physics education study program students class of 2022 after using Everycircuit-based virtual practicum media in discovery learning in Basic Electonics courses, and to determine the increase in learning outcomes of physics education study program students class of 2022 after using Everycircuit-based virtual practicum media in discovery learning in Basic Electonics courses. The type of research used is pre-experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes in introductory electonics courses before using Everycircuit-based virtual practicum media in discovery learning is 65.42, while the average value of student learning outcomes in introductory electonics courses after being taught using Everycircuit-based virtual practicum media in discovery learning is 90.27. The results of the N-gain test calculation obtained 0.62 with a moderate category, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in introductory electonics courses after being taught using Everycircuit-based virtual practicum media in discovery learning.
