Abstract

The pharmaceutical industry plays an important role in the healthcare sector, but financial challenges can hinder its sustainability. PT Kimia Farma Tbk experienced a decline in financial performance, characterized by increasing losses and dependence on debt. This study aims to analyze the company's financial performance in 2022-2023 using profitability, liquidity, solvency, and activity ratios. The method used is descriptive quantitative analysis based on the company's financial statements. The results showed negative profitability, with declining ROA and ROE, low liquidity with Current Ratio and Cash Ratio below industry standards, and increasing DAR and DER, reflecting high dependence on debt. These results confirm the need for asset optimization strategies and operational efficiency. Abstract

This research aims to look at multicultural values ​​in SKI learning books for class XI Madrasah Aliyah. This research method uses a qualitative approach with methods library research. The results of the research show that in the SKI Madrasah Aliyah learning book, there are multicultural educational values, consisting of tolerance values, democratic values, equality values ​​and justice values. It needs to be instilled in the younger generation so that they are able to internalize and apply multicultural values ​​in everyday life so as to avoid division, forming a character that accepts the diversity around them.  The multicultural education curriculum in the Islamic cultural history book at Madrasah Aliyah class The values ​​of multicultural education (tolerance, democracy, equality and justice) have been integrated into the History of Islamic Culture learning curriculum for class a larger multicultural and multireligious community that is consistent with the environment and serves as a role model for students.​​

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a major public health issue in Indonesia, particularly in areas like Gemawang Village, Temanggung Regency. Chemical insecticides commonly used for mosquito control pose health and environmental risks, necessitating safer alternatives. This study aimed to empower the local community with knowledge and skills to produce a natural mosquito repellent spray using lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), which contains citronella and geraniol known for their mosquito-repelling properties. Through a three-month community engagement program, residents participated in educational sessions, practical demonstrations, and were provided with materials to create the spray using lemongrass and 70% ethanol. A total of 100 participants showed a 30% increase in knowledge based on pre-test and post-test results. Additionally, 80% of participants reported regular use of the spray, and 70% observed a decrease in mosquito presence. While participants found the method practical and materials accessible, some noted reduced spray effectiveness over time, indicating a need for improved formulation. This community-based approach not only promoted an eco-friendly alternative to chemical insecticides but also enhanced local capacity for disease prevention. The findings suggest that such participatory programs can contribute significantly to sustainable dengue vector control in endemic areas.

Abstract

The implementation of IPAS learning faces difficulties in students' understanding of the learning material, because teachers only focus on books and inadequate learning tools, resulting in students' lack of participation in the learning process. In order to confront this challenge, there is a necessity to integrate innovative learning methodologies and leverage technological advancements to develop learning tools in the form of E-LKPD.This research is classified as research and development. The development model employed is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The E-LKPD was validated by lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, UNDHARI, with practicality assessed by observing the responses of educators and students, and effectiveness assessed from the results of the test questions provided. The research on the E-LKPD yielded a validation score averaging 87.75%, thus indicating its high validity. The practicality of the E-LKPD was assessed, yielding an average score of 84.50%, which is categorized as "highly practical." Consequently, it can be concluded that the E-LKPD based on problem-based learning using the Live Worksheet application in IPAS lessons for fifth-grade elementary school students is both attractive and suitable for use in the learning process and can be further developed.

Abstract

Indonesia has a very rich biodiversity, including various medicinal plants that are highly financially beneficial and health-promoting. Among these medicinal plants, temulawak and turmeric are the two most popular rhizomes widely used in traditional medicine as well as the herbal industry. However, because the shape and color of these two plants are very similar, it is often difficult to distinguish between them, especially for laypeople and new industry workers. This research developed an Android-based application that can effectively and accurately distinguish between temulawak and turmeric to address this issue. For this application, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture of the VGG-16 model is used along with the Tsukamoto fuzzy method as an additional layer. The trials conducted on the developed model using test data showed an accuracy rate of 0.97, a recall value of 0.98, and an F1 score of 0.97. Meanwhile, the blackbox testing shows that this application functions stably without technical issues, making it ready for use. Additionally, blackbox testing shows that the system can function stably without any issues, making it suitable for real-world use

Abstract

The problem of moral decline of the younger generation is currently increasingly concerning. Reality shows that many young generations have lost their national cultural identity, are involved in brawls, drugs, free sex, are involved in motorcycle gangs, bullying and the degradation of student morality which ultimately leads to juvenile delinquency. One effort to overcome this problem is to implement national values and character education in national education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of values and character education as an important foundation in the Indonesian national education system and to analyze the challenges in implementing national values and character education. Using a descriptive qualitative method through literature studies and research results show that values and character education in the context of national education is implemented through intracurricular, extracurricular, co-curricular learning, and habituation activities. The challenges in implementing values and character education are the lack of understanding and awareness among educators and parents, the inconsistency of the curriculum with the objectives of character education, dependence on academic assessments, limited human resources and infrastructure, negative influences from the social and technological environment, and the integration of character values that are less coherent.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada kebutuhan memahami bagaimana media sosial memengaruhi proses sosialisasi remaja, mengingat pergeseran interaksi sosial dari dunia nyata ke dunia digital yang membawa peluang sekaligus tantangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peluang dan tantangan media sosial dalam proses sosialisasi remaja. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode studi literatur. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber ilmiah, seperti buku, jurnal, dan artikel yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori interaksionisme simbolik untuk memahami makna simbol-simbol digital dalam interaksi sosial remaja. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memberikan banyak peluang positif, seperti sarana ekspresi diri, penguatan identitas sosial, akses informasi edukatif, serta pengembangan jaringan sosial dan solidaritas kolektif dalam komunitas digital. Simbol-simbol komunikasi digital, seperti emoji, caption, foto, dan video, berperan penting dalam membentuk persepsi dan pola interaksi sosial remaja. Namun, media sosial juga menghadirkan tantangan signifikan, antara lain kecanduan digital, penurunan kualitas komunikasi tatap muka, cyberbullying, tekanan sosial untuk memenuhi standar ideal digital, serta distorsi nilai dan norma sosial. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peran aktif keluarga, sekolah, dan kebijakan publik yang mendukung literasi digital dan perlindungan remaja di ruang digital. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi pendidikan dan pendampingan sosial untuk mengoptimalkan media sosial sebagai sarana sosialisasi yang konstruktif dan berkelanjutan bagi remaja.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                 Transformasi digital menuntut peningkatan literasi digital guru, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan Learning Management System (LMS). Di Distrik Sausapor, Papua Barat Daya, meskipun infrastruktur jaringan memadai, keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan LMS berbasis Moodle masih terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan bersama Yayasan Pendidikan Advent Sausapor sebagai mitra, melibatkan 25 guru dari jenjang SD, SMP, dan SMA pada Juli 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui empat tahap: (1) perencanaan, meliputi koordinasi dengan mitra untuk menentukan kebutuhan, peserta, dan jadwal; (2) persiapan, penyusunan modul pelatihan serta instrumen pre-test dan post-test dengan dukungan fasilitas komputer dan internet sekolah; (3) pelaksanaan, berupa dua hari kegiatan sosialisasi dan praktik pembuatan kelas virtual, unggah materi ajar, penyusunan kuis, forum diskusi, dan sistem penilaian otomatis; (4) evaluasi, menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 74,1% pada seluruh aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peserta tidak hanya memahami konsep dasar Moodle, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikannya secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam memperkuat kompetensi guru serta menjadi langkah awal membangun ekosistem pembelajaran digital yang inklusif dan adaptif. Kata kunci: LMS Moodle; literasi digital; pembelajaran digital; pelatihan guru; PAR ABSTRACTThe digital transformation demands an increase in teachers’ digital literacy, particularly in utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS). In Sausapor District, Southwest Papua, although network infrastructure is adequate, teachers’ skills in using Moodle-based LMS remain limited. This community service program was carried out in collaboration with the Sausapor Advent Education Foundation as a partner, involving 25 teachers from elementary, junior high, and senior high schools in July 2025. The method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR) through four stages: (1) planning, including coordination with partners to determine needs, participants, and schedule; (2) preparation, which involved developing training modules and pre-test and post-test instruments supported by the school’s computer and internet facilities; (3) implementation, consisting of two days of activities such as socialization, virtual class creation, digital material uploads, quiz development, discussion forums, and automatic grading systems; (4) evaluation, using pre-tests and post-tests. The results indicated an average improvement of 74.1% across all aspects of knowledge and skills. These findings confirm that participants not only understood the basic concepts of Moodle but were also able to apply them effectively in the learning process. This activity provides a tangible contribution to strengthening teachers’ competencies and serves as an initial step in building an inclusive and adaptive digital learning ecosystem.. Keywords: LMS Moodle; digital literacy; digital learning; teacher training; PAR

Abstract

The training program on Artificial Intelligence-based Learning Media Development (P3MP-AI) represents a strategic initiative to enhance the quality of education at the Ihsanul Fikri Integrated Islamic High School. In the rapidly evolving landscape of information technology, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology into education has become an urgent necessity. This endeavor aims to address the personalized learning needs, overcome human resource and time constraints, and enhance the overall quality of education in achieving educational goals. Through the Active and Interactive Learning Method (MPB-AI) approach, educators engage in various practical and interactive activities, enabling them to comprehend and applykecerdasan buatanconcepts practically. Evaluation of this training program demonstrates significant achievements in enhancing participants' understanding and skills, as well as a high level of creativity and diversity in AI-based learning media development practices. Thus, this training program has successfully achieved its objectives in improving the quality of education at the Ihsanul Fikri Integrated Islamic High School. Recommendations for future activities include extending the duration of implementation for optimal goal attainment and developing similar activities periodically to continually enhance educators' abilities in delivering more effective and efficient learning experiences.

Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient multimodal information retrieval has driven significant research into bridging visual and textual data. While sophisticated models like CLIP offer state-of-the-art semantic alignment, their substantial computational requirements present challenges for deployment in resource-constrained environments. This study introduces a lightweight retrieval framework that leverages the BLIP image captioning model to transform image data into rich textual descriptions, effectively reframing cross-modal retrieval as a text-to-text task. We systematically evaluated three retrieval models BM25, SBERT, and T5 on caption-transformed MSCOCO and Flickr30K datasets, utilizing both classical metrics (Recall@5, mAP) and semantic-aware metrics (SAR@5, Semantic mAP). Experimental results demonstrate that T5 achieves superior semantic performance (SAR@5 = 0.561, Semantic mAP = 0.524), surpassing SBERT (SAR@5 = 0.524) and outperforming the lexical BM25 baseline (SAR@5 = 0.312). Notably, the proposed BLIP+T5 pipeline attains 88% of CLIP’s semantic accuracy while reducing inference latency by approximately 60% and decreasing GPU memory consumption by over 60%. These findings underscore the potential of caption-based retrieval frameworks as scalable, cost-effective alternatives to computationally intensive multimodal systems, especially in latency-sensitive and resource-limited scenarios. Future work will explore fine-tuning strategies, domain-adapted semantic metrics, and robustness under real-world conditions to further advance retrieval effectiveness.
