Abstract

This study explores the interconnected roles of leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction in enhancing employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Utilizing a qualitative approach grounded in literature review, the study synthesizes insights from existing research on transformational and transactional leadership, various dimensions of organizational commitment, and the impact of job satisfaction on employee productivity. Thematic analysis reveals that transformational leadership, characterized by inspiration and motivation, significantly enhances job satisfaction and organizational commitment, positively influencing employee performance. Conversely, transactional leadership, which emphasizes rewards and structure, has a more limited impact on long-term commitment and satisfaction. Job satisfaction is identified as a critical mediator, enabling leadership and commitment to translate into increased performance outcomes. This study contributes theoretically by validating job satisfaction's mediating role in workplace dynamics and highlighting affective commitment as a key factor for sustained performance. Managerial implications underscore the importance of transformational leadership training and strategies to boost job satisfaction, such as recognition programs and professional development. Future research should consider cross-cultural, longitudinal, and industry-specific analyses to deepen understanding of these constructs in varied organizational contexts.

Abstract

This study explores the complex relationships between workload, motivation, employee performance, and the mediating roles of supervision and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in organizational contexts. Using a qualitative research methodology based on a systematic literature review, the study synthesizes findings from both theoretical and empirical research to understand how these variables interact and influence performance outcomes. Data was collected from peer-reviewed journals, books, and organizational behavior, psychology, and management case studies. The analysis uses thematic coding to identify patterns and themes within the literature, shedding light on how the workload can act as both a motivator and a stressor, depending on the support systems in place. The findings indicate that intrinsic motivation is crucial in driving sustainable performance, while supervision and SOPs are important mediators that help stabilize performance and reduce workload-related stress. Adequate supervision, characterized by supportive guidance and feedback, enhances employee resilience in high demands, while SOPs provide structure and consistency in task execution. These results have significant theoretical implications for frameworks such as the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) model, self-determination theory, and Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) theory. Additionally, the study offers practical recommendations for management strategies aimed at promoting sustainable employee performance. Ultimately, this research emphasizes the importance of balancing workload, intrinsic motivation, and structured support to cultivate a high-performing and resilient workforce.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of knowledge sharing, competence, and organizational commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) at PT Espri Tirta Kencana. Using a quantitative approach and survey method, the study involved a total of 57 employees as the sample. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms, and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on OCB, while competence has no significant effect on OCB. Organizational commitment was found to have a positive and significant effect on OCB. Furthermore, organizational commitment mediates the relationship between knowledge sharing and OCB, but does not mediate the effect of competence on OCB. These findings suggest that fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and enhancing organizational commitment can improve OCB within the company. The results also indicate that competence, although crucial for task performance, does not directly influence OCB, highlighting the importance of other factors such as organizational attachment and collaboration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan karir memoderasi pengaruh pelatihan kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilaksankan pada Kantor Kemetrian Agama Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Pegawai Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Makassar yang berjumlah yaitu 104 orang dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Sumber Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data primer dan dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data Dalam penelitian ini yakni dengan observasi, wawancara terstruktur dengan menggunakan instrument kuisioner, wawancara mendalam dengan melakukan terhadap informan kunci serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data PLS (Partial Least Square) . Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa variabel pelatihan dan disiplin kerja memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai kantor Kementrian Agama Kota Makassar ketika dimediasi oleh pengembangan karir sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa ketika nilai kinerja pegawai meningkat, efek moderasi pengembangan karir antara variabel pelatihan dan disiplin kerja juga menjadi lebih besar (atau lebih kuat)

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana struktur organisasi, budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional serta pemanfaatan teknologi berpengaruh terhadapa kualitas layanan publik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kantor DPMPTSP Kota Palopo. Riset ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang dipergunakan pada riset ini adalah cross sectional, objek penelitian yaitu masyarakat yang menggunakan layanan DPMPTSP. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat yang menggunakan layanan DPMPSTSP Sampel penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang pernah mengunjung DPMPTSP minimal 2(dua) kali yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Lemeshow. Sehingga didapatkan 143 sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang dipergunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif, bersumber dari hasil kuesioner yang diisi oleh respoden yang dilayani oleh DPMPTSP .Teknik pengumpulan data pada riset ini untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan kuesioner dengan SmartPLS 3 sebagai alat bantu dalam teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa struktur organisasi, budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional serta pemanfaatan teknologi berpengaruh postif dan signifikan terhadapa kualitas layanan publik. Sehingga penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketika nilai struktur organisasi, budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional serta pemanfaatan teknologi meningkat maka variabel kualitas pelayanan publik turut meningkat begitu pula sebaliknya.

Pengaruh Right Issue dan Harga Saham Terhadapa Pertumbuhan Keuangan PerusahaanManufaktur Di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) Tahun 2011-2014.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah right issue dan harga sahamberpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan keuangan perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur diBursa Efek Inonesia (BEI) tahun 2011-2014. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunderyang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan perusahaan periode 2011-2014 yang diperoleh darilaporan tahunan perusahaan periode 2011-2014 yang diperoleh melalui www.ldx.co.id.Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI. Sampelyang diperoleh sebanyak 32, teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan purposive samplingberdasarkan kriteria. Sample telah diuji klasik berupa asumsi normalitas dan multikolonieritas.Teknik analisa data menggunakan regresi berganda dan pengujiian hipotesis menggunakanUji T.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa right issue dan harga saham berpengaruh positifdan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan keuangan perusahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara profitabilitas dan leveragedengan stock return. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan Industri Manufaktur sektorMakanan dan Minuman yang berjumlah 13 perusahaan. Data dikumlkan denganmenggunakan teknik dokumentasi berupa laporan keuangan selam 3 tahun yaitu 2013 –2015. Sehingga jumlah data yang diobservasi sebanyak 39 laporan keuangan. Teknik analisismenggunakan analisis Korelasi Produk Moment (KPM). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif signifikan antaraprofitabilitas dengan stock return. Kemudian terdapat hubungan yang positif antara leveragedengan stock return.

Abstract

This research aims to see if there is a difference in LQ45 share abnormal returns before and after the January effect. The non-probability sampling method was used in this study, and data from 45 companies were obtained using this method. In this study, secondary data from financial reports obtained from yahoo.finance.com was used as the source of data. The Event Study technique was used in this study, with the Event Window consisting of seven days before and seven days after the January Effect event. The research data was put to the test using a normality test and a paired sample test to test the hypothesis. The results revealed that the Abnormal Return on LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange did not differ significantly before and after the January Effect. One of the references used by the entity's stakeholders in making decisions is managerial interest in window dressing.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to examine the influence of overall quality management and leadership on the financial performance of Islamic banks in Makassar Region. The analysis is quantitative. The population of this research is a permanent staff member of Islamic banks, with as many as 298 workers. The sampling method used simple random sampling and a sample of 75 respondents was collected. Collection of data using a questionnaire. The data analysis methodology used multiple linear regression analyses. Study findings at a 5% level of relevance show that overall quality management and governance have a positive and important impact on financial performance. These findings clarify that the implementation of holistic quality control must concentrate on consumers, performance development, education and training, and employee engagement and empowerment. It is important to include front-line workers in decision-making at their workplaces, as they are the key actors in the development of successful results. Leaders or administrators have been in a position to defend subordinates. They have been shown to be able to increase productivity efficiency in such a way that all the work and goals given have been accomplished in compliance with the wishes of the organization.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of cash flow and working capital on liquidity with profitability as an intervening variable in the retail industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2021. The population in this study are retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the observation period from 2019 to 2021, with as many as 27 retail companies. The sample selection used the purposive sampling method and obtained a total sample of 21 companies that meet the criteria. The statistical method used to test the hypothesis is to use panel data regression with the help of Eviews software. The results of this study indicate that cash flow and working capital have a positive and significant effect on liquidity. Cash flow and working capital have a positive and significant impact on profitability. Profitability has a positive and significant effect on liquidity. Cash flow has a positive but not significant impact on liquidity through profitability, and working capital has a positive and significant effect on liquidity through profitability.
