Abstract

A quantitative approach with a causal design was used in this study to analyze the influence of Digital Behavior and Professional Learning Community on the Professionalism of Elementary School Teachers in Penajam Paser Utara Regency in the 2025/2026 academic year. The independent variables were defined as Digital Behavior (X1) and Professional Learning Community (X2), while the dependent variable was defined as Teacher Professionalism (Y). The study population consisted of 520 public elementary school teachers spread across four sub-districts. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula at a 7% error rate, resulting in 147 respondents and then rounded to 150 teachers to increase accuracy. The sampling technique was proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a five-level Likert-scale closed questionnaire. All instruments were tested for validity and reliability before use. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 22 through classical assumption tests (normality and linearity) and multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was carried out at a significance level of 0.05 and strengthened by the coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the study show that partially and simultaneously, Digital Behavior and Professional Learning Community have a positive and significant influence on Teacher Professionalism. These findings imply that strengthening teachers’ digital competencies and fostering collaborative professional learning communities within schools are essential strategies to enhance teacher professionalism and improve the quality of elementary education.

Abstract

The online environment has reshaped how university students learn, interact, and experience psychological pressure, creating new demands for mental health education management in higher education. This study examined the perceived challenges in the management of mental health education among university students in Guangzhou in the online environment. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted using a 30-item questionnaire covering six dimensions: Network Environment Impact, Screening and Early Warning, Collaborative Management, Teacher Capacity, Digital Management, and System Adaptability. Data were collected from 58 students at Guangzhou Huali College and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Cronbach’s alpha. The findings showed a moderate overall level of perceived challenge (M = 3.267, SD = 0.456). Network Environment Impact was the highest-rated dimension (M = 3.468), followed by System Adaptability (M = 3.338) and Digital Management (M = 3.328), while Teacher Capacity recorded the lowest mean (M = 3.021). The instrument demonstrated high reliability (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.919). The study indicates that student mental health education should be understood as an institutional governance issue in digitally mediated higher education and highlights the need to strengthen early warning systems, staff competence, and adaptive digital support mechanisms.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of character education based on the Sekolahe Arek Suroboyo (SAS) program in preventing bullying at SD Hang Tuah 7 Surabaya, including indicators of Safe, Recreational, Educational, and Mutual Cooperation, and analyze the factors that influence its success according to George C. Edward III's theory. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and tested with triangulation of sources and techniques, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The results of the study indicate that character education based on the SAS program is implemented in accordance with the AREK indicators through scheduled habituation. The success of the program implementation is influenced by several factors, namely: (1) Internal and external communication is consistently established effectively through coordination, routine evaluation, and socialization; (2) resources are sufficient, although there are still constraints on the budget aspect so that infrastructure improvements are less than optimal; (3) the attitude of implementers shows a high commitment through support in learning, supervision, and habituation; (4) Bureaucratic structure, through a structured division of tasks and SOPs for activities, although there is no specific organizational structure.

Abstract

The development of education in the era of globalization requires educational institutions to adapt through effective strategic management, particularly in improving learning quality. However, strategic management and learning are often treated as separate domains, resulting in a gap between strategic planning and classroom practices. This study aims to explain the integration of strategic management in improving learning quality through a conceptual synthesis focusing on strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation in educational institutions. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research. Data were collected from books and relevant national and international journal articles published between 2021 and 2026 through Google Scholar. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis to identify themes, patterns, and relationships among concepts. The findings indicate that integrating strategic management into learning is a crucial aspect that has not been widely explored. Strategy formulation serves as the basis for instructional design, implementation is reflected in innovative learning practices, and evaluation functions as a reflective mechanism for continuous improvement. Therefore, this integration is essential to systematically and sustainably improve learning quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze school financial management and its role in improving educational effectiveness. The approach is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through semi-structured interviews and financial document analysis. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions, with validity maintained through source triangulation. The results indicate that budget planning is carried out collaboratively based on program needs, budget implementation follows structured administrative procedures, and accountability is realized through systematic reporting supported by transaction evidence. Good financial management contributes to the smooth running of programs and operational support for learning. Educational effectiveness is evident in the implementation of activities and the availability of facilities, but the link between budget policies and improved learning quality remains underdeveloped. This study recommends strengthening the orientation of budget planning towards learning development and increasing transparency to encourage school community participation.
