Abstract

The phenomenon of job hopping among Gen Z is becoming increasingly prevalent, particularly in developing cities such as Bandar Lampung. This generation is known for having high expectations regarding work life balance and job satisfaction, which can influence their decision to stay or switch jobs. This study aims to analyse the impact of work life balance and job satisfaction on the job-hopping intentions of Gen Z employees in Bandar Lampung. This research employs an explanatory research method with a quantitative approach. The sample consists of 385 respondents aged 18–29 years in 2024, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a digital questionnaire (Google Forms) and measured using a Likert scale with a negative model. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS statistical software. The results indicate that, partially, work life balance has a significant positive effect on job-hopping intentions, as does job satisfaction, which also significantly influences job-hopping intentions. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant impact on Gen Z employees' decisions to change jobs. These findings provide insights for companies to better understand Gen Z's mindset in the workplace by creating a work environment that supports both work life balance and job satisfaction, aligning with the preferences of Gen Z employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan didasarkan pada rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik khusunya pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Hal ini disebabkan guru kelas VI B SDN Begalon 1 masih sering menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dan media yang digunakan masih sering menggunakan buku pegangan, sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik masih rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model project based learning (PjBL) dengan media wayang rangka manusia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 24 peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada hasil belajar, yang mana pada prasiklus hanya 46% peserta didik yang nilainya memenuhi KKM, kemudian naik 62% pada siklus I dan naik lagi secara signifikan menjadi 92% pada siklus II. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL dengan media wayang rangka manusia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

In the English classroom writing as a communicating ideas considered to be most challenging. Students usually found many difficulty to expressing ideas or choosing the words which they will write. However, it is not the case if the teacher guided well their students with corrective feedback. The teacher as the fasilitator has important role in the fasilitating learning by guiding students and eliciting response from them. This study examined the teacher’s corrective feedback in respoding to students’ english writing in one of public senior high school in Indramayu. In this research, the data were obtained from a teacher of one of senior high school in Indramayu . This research were being analyzed descriptive qualitative method and therefore the data were being collected through documentation and interview questions. The framework undertaken is being proposed by Ellis, thus the interview question was being adapted from Thorsteinsen. The findings was found that there were three categories of feedbacks specifically, direct corrective feedback, unfocused corrective feedback and metalinguistics corrective feedback. Meanwhile, the reasons that the teacher provide different feedback startegies, teachers’ corrective feedbacks is the key to make students conscious of making mistake on writing assignments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business model applied by UMKM Torani Sumber Makmur through the Business Model Canvas approach and analyze the added value of processed fish products at UMKM Torani Sumber Makmur. This research has been conducted at UMKM Torani Sumber Makmur, Cirebon City in August 2024 - April 2025. The research method used is a case study method with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, and the snowball sampling method. Data analysis used is business model canvas analysis and added value. The research results from the business model canvas analysis show that the application of the business model at UMKM Torani Sumber Makmur can contribute to the success of the business being run. The results of the added value analysis show that processed fish products at UMKM Torani Sumber Makmur have added value with the highest added value being ekado products amounting to Rp.219,025 / kg with a percentage ratio of added value to product value of 78.22%. Fish roll products amounted to Rp.135,194 / kg with a percentage ratio of added value to product value of 72.82%. Salmon fish dumplings products amounted to Rp.112,227 / kg with a percentage ratio of added value to product value of 53.44%. Salmon fish meatball products amounted to Rp.88,717 / kg with a percentage ratio of added value to product value of 47.96%

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis merupakan keterampilan esensial yang harus dimiliki oleh mahasiswa dalam dunia akademik. Namun, masih banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menyampaikan gagasan secara tertulis dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas pendekatan kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning/CTL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, untuk memahami secara mendalam proses pembelajaran dan pengalaman mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CTL mampu meningkatkan kualitas tulisan mahasiswa, baik dari segi struktur, isi, maupun aspek kebahasaan. Komponen-komponen utama dalam CTL seperti diskusi kelompok, proyek kolaboratif, dan refleksi, terbukti mendorong keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa serta meningkatkan motivasi dan kepercayaan diri dalam menulis. Selain itu, peran dosen sebagai fasilitator juga sangat penting dalam membimbing mahasiswa untuk menghubungkan pengalaman pribadi dengan materi pembelajaran, sehingga tulisan yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih bermakna dan relevan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis mahasiswa dan dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam pengembangan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Media Pembelajaran Papan Pintar pada mata pelajaran IPA untuk siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Rejosari dan mengetahui cara pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Papan Pintar pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas IV SD Negeri Rejosari yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Rejosari sebanyak 25 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penilaian oleh ketiga ahli, validasi bahasa memperoleh skor 29 dengan rata-rata 4,14, validasi media memperoleh skor 37 dengan rata-rata 4,63 dan validasi materi memperoleh skor 45 dengan rata-rata 4,5. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Media Pembelajaran Papan Pintar memenuhi kriteria valid dengan rata-rata skor keseluruhan 4,42. Nilai yang menunjukkan kepraktisan Media Papan Pintar Materi Sumber Energi memenuhi kriteria praktis dengan rata-rata skor 88,4%. Sedangkan nilai yang menunjukkan keefektifan Media Papan Pintar Materi Sumber Energi memenuhi kriteria efektif dengan thitung=11,02 dan ttabel=1,64. Karena thitung ≥ ttabel maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Media Pembelajaran Papan Pintar memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Abstract

The availability of quality melon seeds is often constrained by the physiological nature of dormancy that appears after the harvest process. Dormancy breaking carried out by the seed industry has so far not been fully effective in ensuring timely seed availability. Therefore, this study is needed to develop a more efficient and applicable dormancy breaking method on an industrial scale. This study aims to determine the effect of various concentrations and duration of soaking of gibberellin (GA3) solution on dormancy breaking of melon (Cucumis melo L.) ME 515 variety seeds. The study was conducted at CV Everfresh and continued at the Polbangtan Yoma Seed Technology Laboratory. This study used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 10 treatments. The concentration of gibberellin solution consisting of G0 (aquades), G1 (2.5%), G2 (5%), and G3 (7.5%). Duration of soaking; (P0) dipped, (P1) soaked for 30 minutes, and (P2) soaked for 60 minutes. Observation variables: germination power, maximum growth potential, growth speed, growth simultaneity, shoot length, and root length. The results of this study indicate that gibberellin treatment is able to break dormancy faster and improve the growth performance of melon seeds of ME 515 variety in the observation variables of growth simultaneity, shoot length, and root length.

Abstract

Sebagai bagian penting dari sistem pendidikan nasional, guru memiliki tugas profesional yang meliputi mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, mengevaluasi, dan berbagi pengetahuan dengan siswa. Selain mengajar di kelas, tanggung jawab utama guru juga mencakup pengembangan karakter, manajemen kelas, dan keterlibatan aktif dalam kegiatan pengembangan kurikulum. Untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, artikel ini akan mengkaji secara mendalam peran dan tanggung jawab guru dalam sistem pendidikan modern, serta permasalahan yang mereka hadapi dan solusi yang mungkin. Studi ini menggunakan tinjauan pustaka dan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sangat vital dalam keberhasilan pendidikan, dan untuk mewujudkan peran tersebut diperlukan pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap tugas pokok dan fungsi, serta dukungan terhadap pengembangan kompetensi guru secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pancasila Education learning plays an important role in shaping students' character. However, in practice, students are less enthusiastic in participating in learning due to the use of learning media that tends to be conventional and does not involve students in the learning process. Therefore, this study aims to develop and test the validity of Genially-based interactive learning media in Pancasila Education subjects in Elementary Schools. Media validity is assessed based on aspects of content suitability, language suitability and media display carried out by material experts, media experts and language experts. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) development research with the ADDIE development model which at this stage focuses on product validation. The data collection instrument is a validation sheet given to experts. The validation results show that Genially-based interactive learning media obtained the "Very Valid" category with an average score of 91.11%. Thus, this media is suitable for use in Pancasila Education learning as an alternative to increase students' interest and motivation to learn.

Abstract

The hospitality industry, characterized by intensive customer interactions and dynamic service demands, places constant pressure on employees to maintain professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to deliver prompt and high-quality service. Within such a context, leadership emerges as a critical factor in sustaining long-term employee performance and organizational success. This study emphasizes authentic leadership as a leadership style capable of fostering positive employee attitudes while aligning individual aspirations with broader organizational goals. Authentic leaders promote constructive psychological conditions through self-awareness, balanced information processing, internalized moral values, and relational transparency, all of which are essential for nurturing trust and motivation in service-oriented environments.The primary objective of this research is to investigate the mediating role of work engagement in the relationship between authentic leadership and hotel employees’ career satisfaction. To achieve this, a quantitative approach was adopted, involving a survey of 100 hotel employees working in Malang, Indonesia. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test both the direct and indirect relationships among the studied variables. The findings reveal that authentic leadership has a significant and positive influence on both work engagement and career satisfaction. Moreover, work engagement itself exerts a strong effect on career satisfaction and serves as a full mediator between authentic leadership and career satisfaction. These results contribute to the growing body of literature on leadership and employee outcomes by underscoring the strategic importance of authentic leadership in enhancing employees’ psychological resources, strengthening their engagement, and ultimately improving career satisfaction, which is indispensable for maintaining competitiveness in the hospitality sector.
