Abstract

Loneliness pada siswa adalah kondisi yang disinyalir akibat dari kepribadian yang introvert, keluarga yang broken home, terlalu berekspektasi tinggi terhadap lingkungan, sering mendapatkan penolakan di lingkungan sekitar, kurangnya peran dan kasih sayang dari orang tua sehingga diperlukan penanganan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif bimbingan kelompok teknik self control untuk mengurangi loneliness pada siswa. sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah angket loneliness. Data diolah dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan rumus mann whitney test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor hasil tes awal siswa kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol memiliki selisih 7,5, dimana rata-rata skor pre-test kelompok eksperimen (41.8) dan kelompok kontrol (34.3). Setelah diberikan perlakuan kelompok eksperimen memiliki selisih 4.5, skor rata-rata post-test kelompok eksperimen (31.6) dan kelompok kontrol (27.1). Bimbingan kelompok teknik self control efektif untuk mengurangi loneliness pada siswa.

Abstract

The problems of this service are; 1) The process of guidance services to students in junior high schools in Palu City is not yet optimal; 2) Junior high school guidance and counseling teachers in Palu City who have not fully optimized the role of peer counselors in providing guidance services to students. The purpose of this service is to improve the understanding, skills, and abilities of junior high school guidance and counseling teachers in Palu City in carrying out services at school. The subjects of this service are junior high school counseling teachers who are members of the Consultation of Guidance and Counseling Teachers (MGBK) in PALU City. The stages of implementing this service through socialization and mentoring. The achievement of this service is that teachers can apply, optimize and carry out the implementation of peer counselors for students in the process of guidance and counseling services at school.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is driven by the deficiency in students' critical thinking skills, which is rooted in the dominance of lecture-based teaching approaches. These traditional methods restrict student engagement and exploration, crucial for fostering critical thought. The research aims to explore the impact of the guided inquiry learning model on enhancing critical thinking skills among elementary students, specifically focusing on a sample of 40 fifth-grade students at SDN Lonja. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest control groups, the study gathered data through tests, observations, and documentation. The Paired Samples Test used for data analysis indicated a significant difference at the 5% level, with a p-value of 0.000. This outcome led to the rejection of the null hypothesis, confirming that the guided inquiry model significantly enhances students' critical thinking skills in Natural Sciences. The findings underscore the potential of guided inquiry as an effective instructional model, which actively engages students in learning, promotes analytical thinking, and reduces dependency on rote memorization, thereby nurturing critical thinking competencies essential for lifelong learning and problem-solving. This research holds implications for educators and curriculum developers seeking to adopt student-centered learning strategies that better prepare students for future academic and personal challenges.

Abstract

The Indonesian government formally enforces rules of study, worship, and work from home from March 16, 2020. Minimizing and limiting meetings involving physical contact is an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. These conditions have implications for the effectiveness of the learning process in higher education. The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of student psychology on online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method uses a qualitative research type of phenomenology. The research subjects were 30 students of Mulawarman University who were interviewed via telephone. The research findings show that (1) students have started to get bored with online learning after the first two weeks of learning from home, (2) considerable anxiety on research subjects whose parents have low income, because they have to buy quotas to be able to participate in online learning, ( 3) mood or mood changes occur due to too many assignments and are considered ineffective by students. Suggestions and recommendations from this research are the need for severe efforts in assisting the psychological well-being of students through the involvement of counselors and psychologists.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi perilaku agresif verbal di Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-kecamatan Palu Timur, faktor penyebab terjadinya perilaku tersebut serta bagaimana tindakan guru dalam menangani masalah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitaif, melibatkan 316 siswa kelas 4 dan 5 dari 23 Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa berperilaku agresif verbal sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perilaku umpatan tergolong rendah, dengan 43% siswa berada pada kategori rendah. Perilaku agresif verbal pada perilaku ejekan yaitu 60% siswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Untuk perilaku fitnahan, 43% siswa berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada perilaku celaan dan makian, 52% siswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Terakhir, pada perilaku ancaman melalui kata-kata, 70% siswa termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Faktor penyebab agresif verbal antara lain pengaruh lingkungan keluarga, konflik keluarga, serta interaksi sosial yang kurang positif dengan teman sebaya. Tindakan yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk menangani perilaku agresif verbal mencakup teguran langsung, pembuatan kesepakatan kelas, dan pemanggilan orang tua siswa. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan pihak sekolah untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman bagi siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan dalam merumuskan strategi yang lebih efektif untuk layanan pencegahan dan penanganan perilaku agresif verbal di masa mendatang
