Abstract

Enforcing fair and effective law in Indonesia is a complex challenge that requires a holistic approach from various stakeholders. Law enforcement institutions such as the judiciary, prosecution, police, and other legal bodies play a crucial role in upholding justice and maintaining societal order. One critical aspect in this context is ensuring the judiciary's independence from political pressure or other external influences, so that decisions are based on objective and fair legal principles. Legal reform is urgently needed to enhance transparency in legal processes, strengthen accountability, and uphold professionalism through continuous education and training of legal professionals. Strengthening active participation of the public in monitoring law enforcement agencies is also crucial to build public trust and maintain the integrity of the legal system as a whole. Developing an inclusive and comprehensive legal system should be a priority in addressing various legal challenges from local to national levels. By implementing these steps, Indonesia can strengthen the foundation for sustainable rule of law, which in turn will enhance justice for all citizens and create an environment conducive to sustainable and stable development. These efforts encompass not only structural and operational improvements in legal institutions, but also support the realization of a legally educated society aware of its rights, thus addressing social and economic challenges consistently and fairly. In-depth research on the implementation of legal policies is also necessary to identify areas needing improvement and evaluate the effectiveness of measures taken to achieve these goals.

Abstract

This study explores comprehensive strategies to strengthen national identity among Indonesian students, addressing the crucial need for a cohesive national identity in Indonesia's ethnically and culturally diverse society. The research identifies and analyzes several key approaches, including curriculum development, extracurricular activities, cultural immersion programs, and the use of digital media, to foster a strong sense of national pride and unity. The integration of national history, civic education, and values into the school curriculum is highlighted as fundamental. By ensuring that students receive a thorough understanding of Indonesia's heritage, struggles for independence, and national achievements, educational institutions can instil a deep sense of belonging and responsibility towards the nation. Extracurricular activities, such as student organizations, sports, arts, and community service projects, are also emphasized for their role in providing experiential learning opportunities that reinforce national values and social cohesion. Cultural immersion programs are identified as another critical strategy. These programs, which include traditional arts, music, dance, and language preservation initiatives, allow students to engage with Indonesia's rich cultural tapestry, fostering appreciation and respect for the nation's diversity. Furthermore, the strategic use of digital media is examined as a modern approach to connecting students across different regions and promoting national narratives. Digital platforms can disseminate stories of national heroes, cultural heritage, and contemporary achievements, thereby enhancing students' collective national consciousness. The study underscores the importance of a multifaceted approach involving educational institutions, government policies, and community participation. It recommends that policymakers and educators collaborate to implement these strategies effectively, creating an environment that nurtures a strong, cohesive national identity among Indonesian youth. By doing so, the nation can build a resilient and unified future generation capable of contributing positively to Indonesia's development and stability.

Abstract

This study evaluates the ability of mathematics lecturers in Indonesian universities to use TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). It uses a Sequential Explanatory research method that integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches. The findings indicate that overall, the TPACK skills of mathematics lecturers in Indonesia are at a very good level (85,6%). The questionnaire data showed that the aspects of gender, length of teaching, and level of education had average scores of 85.2%, 85.5%, and 86.1%, respectively. Students' responses to lecturers' TPACK were also high, with an average questionnaire score of 85.1%. Further analysis showed no significant difference in the TPACK ability of mathematics lecturers based on gender, years of teaching, or level of education. However, partial analysis showed that female lecturers' CK and PK components were superior to male lecturers. This indicates a significant effect of gender partially on lecturers' TPACK. At the same time, the length of teaching and level of education does not have a significant impact either partially or jointly on the TPACK ability of mathematics lecturers in Indonesia. This study provides in-depth insights into the factors that influence the TPACK of mathematics lecturers, with important implications for professional development and improving the quality of learning in the Indonesian higher education context

Abstract

This research aims to determine the literacy approach used at SD IT Bakti 2 Nairatul Jannah in reading and writing the Koran. This qualitative investigation was carried out at SD IT Bakti 2 Nairatul Jannah. Through testimonies, interviews, and observations, data is collected. Stars, co-stars, mentors, and scholars are the subjects. The findings of the investigation show that the Tartil and Qiro'aty tutoring systems were used to teach reading and writing the Koran. This method is applied in three steps to teach writing and reading newspapers. The first step is the medication stage, during which the teacher creates teaching materials including reference books and assessment books. The perpetration stage follows, during which the teacher uses the Qiro'aty and Tartil teaching philosophies in classical and semi-classical classrooms. First, the assessment phase, in which the instructor administers an exam to gauge the students' proficiency in reading and writing the Qur'an.   Keywords: Reading Method, Writing Method, Al-Qur'an

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji inovasi pendidikan, dengan berfokus pada pengertian  inovasi pendidikan, pentingnya Inovasi dalam pendidikan, aspek - aspek inovasi pendidikan, dan langkah - langkah inovasi pendidikan. Inovasi pendidikan didefinisikan sebagai penerapan ide, metode, atau teknologi baru untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Pentingnya inovasi pendidikan terletak pada kemampuannya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, relevansi kurikulum, dan adaptasi terhadap kebutuhan siswa di era digital. Aspek-aspek inovasi pendidikan meliputi pendekatan pembelajaran, teknologi, pengembangan kompetensi guru, dan kebijakan pendukung. Langkah-langkah inovasi mencakup identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan pengembangan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan panduan bagi pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan dalam mengimplementasikan inovasi untuk mewujudkan pendidikan yang lebih efektif dan relevan.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia telah mengalami transformasi besar berkat kontribusi berbagai tokoh penting, termasuk Ki Hajar Dewantara, Mohammad Syafi'i, K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, Rahmah El Yunisiah, K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari, K.H. Ahmad Zarkasyi, Hamka, dan Mahmud Yunus. Masing-masing tokoh ini memberikan sumbangsih signifikan dalam merumuskan dan mengembangkan sistem pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama, budaya, dan nasionalisme. Ki Hajar Dewantara, dengan pendirian Taman Siswa, memperkenalkan sistem pendidikan yang mengedepankan kebebasan, demokrasi, dan kesetaraan. Mohammad Syafi'i mengembangkan kurikulum berbasis praktek dan pengembangan diri yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam. K.H. Ahmad Dahlan melalui Muhammadiyah mendorong reformasi pendidikan Islam dengan pendekatan modern. Rahmah El Yunisiah memperjuangkan pendidikan bagi perempuan dengan mendirikan Madrasah Diniyyah Li Al-Banat, sementara K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari mengembangkan pesantren yang memadukan pendidikan agama dan pengetahuan umum. Selanjutnya, K.H. Ahmad Zarkasyi melalui Pondok Pesantren Gontor memodernisasi pendidikan Islam dengan kurikulum yang lebih inklusif, sedangkan Hamka menggabungkan ilmu umum dan agama dalam kurikulum Diniyyah School. Mahmud Yunus memandang pendidikan sebagai proses holistik yang mencakup pengembangan aspek agama, intelektual, dan sosial. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi masing-masing tokoh terhadap pendidikan di Indonesia, serta mengevaluasi dampak dari pemikiran dan tindakan mereka terhadap sistem pendidikan nasional. Dengan mengkaji pendekatan-pendekatan yang mereka tawarkan, artikel ini juga berusaha memberikan wawasan mengenai relevansi pemikiran mereka dalam pendidikan kontemporer di Indonesia.

Abstract

Moderate religiosity in Indonesia is not widely accepted, owing to the existence of factors such as religious liberalization and secularization. The purpose of this study is to identify the level of multilingual Islamic education in Indonesia using the moderation indicator recommended by the Ministry of Religion. This study employs a philosophical normative approach. The theory of analysis used is Azyumardi Azra's multicultural Islamic education. The study's findings reveal a dimension of multicultural Islamic education in Indonesia's three moderate indicators. To begin, the value of education is based on indicators of tolerance in the development of Islamic knowledge and social skills that reflect the realities of human life. Second, the value of education is based on the commitment to learning about Islam and its social aspects, which promotes peace and stability in daily life. Third, humanism in education is reflected in anti-radicalization indicators in the social and cultural development of Islam, which combines with humanism. Also, the nilai pendidikan wasatiyah in the indicator of local accommodations with regard to local culture in fostering social and cultural adherence to Islam is moderate enough to embrace local traditions while remaining non-complementary to Islamic education. The implications of this research theory state that there is relevance of universal values in Indonesian moderation indicators with various multicultural Islamic education values.

Abstract

The project-based learning model is a popular learning model applied at various levels of education in Indonesia. This article examines the characteristics and benefits of implementing the project-based learning model, which has been applied to Indonesian education from primary to senior secondary education. This research was conducted using the “Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method. Article searches were carried out on the Scopus and Google Scholar databases in the publication period 2019-2024. 35 articles focused on discussing the characteristics and benefits of implementing the project learning model in primary to senior secondary education. All articles were analyzed using VOSviewer software with keywords related to project-based learning, elementary school, middle school, and high school. The results of this research found that the application of project-based learning has consistent definitions and characteristics from elementary to high school in Indonesia, but its benefits and application show variations according to the level of cognitive development and learning needs of students. The researcher will discuss all research results in detail and comprehensively in the results and discussion section. These findings can be the first reference for future researchers who want to research in depth the implications of project-based learning at the elementary to high school education levels in Indonesia. Teachers are expected to be able to provide time and design project-based learning that is appropriate to the educational level and abilities of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih lanjut tentang model pembelajaran berkarakter dan relevansinya terhadap Pendidikan Islam. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi pustaka atau library reseacrh. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis karakter adalah pendekatan pengajaran yang menggunakan metode disiplin, hadiah dan hukuman, CTL (pengajaran dan pembelajaran kontekstual), bermain peran, dan instruksi partisipatif. Dipercaya bahwa beberapa model pembelajaran ini dapat menghasilkan solusi yang efektif dan efisien serta membantu siswa mengembangkan sifat karakter yang positif. Menurut E. Mulyasa, ada beberapa relevansi antara model pembelajaran berbasis karakter dan pendidikan Islam, yaitu bahwa keduanya memiliki tujuan yang sama, yaitu keduanya ingin mengembangkan karakter atau akhlak yang berbasis kharimah dan yang merupakan tujuan jelas dari pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis optimalisasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas V di SDN 18 Anduring Kota Padang. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada identifikasi faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar serta peran layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam memberikan solusi atas permasalahan tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pemilihan subjek dilakukan melalui purposive sampling, melibatkan guru kelas V, beberapa siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar, serta guru lain yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru belum memiliki program bimbingan dan konseling yang terstruktur. Layanan yang diberikan masih sebatas bimbingan belajar yang dilaksanakan oleh guru kelas sesuai dengan pemahaman masing-masing terhadap konsep layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Pelaksanaan layanan cenderung berorientasi pada pencapaian target pembelajaran, bukan pada penyelesaian permasalahan atau hambatan belajar siswa. Selain itu, strategi yang digunakan guru lebih menekankan pada metode perbaikan (remedial) dan pengayaan, namun belum sepenuhnya sejalan dengan konsep bimbingan dan konseling yang ideal.
