Abstract

Students' interest in the subject of sociology varies, and some of them may be less enthusiastic about the subject, so an approach that caters to individual students' needs is necessary. The aim of this research is to outline the crucial role of teachers in implementing differentiated learning strategies in sociology and its impact on enhancing students' interest in the subject. This study utilizes a qualitative approach using a descriptive methodology, and data is gathered through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The research is carried out at SMAN 2 Pandeglang, located in the Banten Province. The research findings reveal several key points: (1) Teachers apply various customized learning strategies, such as grouping students based on their abilities, providing diverse learning resources, and assigning projects that align with students' interests. (2) Teachers act as facilitators, assisting students in identifying their interests, providing guidance, and challenging students according to their individual abilities. (3) The outcome of implementing differentiated learning is that students become more engaged in the learning process because they perceive the subject matter as relevant to their interests and personal experiences. In conclusion, the role of teachers is pivotal in cultivating students' interest in sociology at SMAN 2 Pandeglang through the implementation of tailored learning strategies. Teachers need to function as facilitators who understand students' needs and interests to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui proses pembelajaran daring ke luring, praktik pembelajaran daring ke luring serta dampak pembelajaran daring terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran luring pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMP 16 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Perubahan pembelajaran di SMP pada masa pandemi Covid-19 membutuhkan banyak persiapan dan penyesuaian dari sekolah, termasuk guru kepada peserta didik dan peserta didik dalam pelaksanaannya. Hasil penelitian bahwa proses pembelajaran secara luring belum diterapkan secara keseluruhan untuk mengurangi interaksi siswa. Praktik pembelajaran daring ke luring dilaksanakan telah sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan yang ketat, diantaranya dalam waktu belajar dan implementasinya dan dampak pembelajaran daring terhadap luring masih perlunya upaya preventif dan represif oleh sekolah. Proses, praktik dan dampak daring terhadap luring masih membutuhkan peningkatan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan secara holistik kepada peserta didik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kasus tindak pidana korupsi dan kebijakan hukuman mati bagi koruptor dari perspektif sosiologi. Melibatkan pendekatan sosiologis, penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika sosial pelaku korupsi dan dampaknya terhadap masyarakat. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengkaji dampak kebijakan hukuman mati terhadap pemberantasan korupsi. Dengan memadukan perspektif sosiologis, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan signifikan terhadap pemahaman kita tentang kompleksitas kasus korupsi dan relevansi kebijakan hukuman mati dalam konteks sosial masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian library research yang sumber pengumpulan datanya didapatkan dari beberapa sumber literatur yang mencakup dalam kajian teoritis, referensi, dan literatur ilmiah lainnya yang berkaitan dengan budaya, nilai, serta adat yang berkembang dalam situasi sosial yang sedang diteliti dari hasil penelitian menyimpulkan dengan adanya kebijakan hukuman mati bagi koruptor dipandang sebagai langkah yang tidak efektif dalam menanggulangi kasus korupsi di Indonesia. Perspektif sosiologi hukum menyoroti kompleksitas isu ini, dengan mempertimbangkan aspek politik, ekonomi, hak asasi manusia, dan tujuan pemasyarakatan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility and practicality of flipbook-based e-modules in class the. (Sugiyono, 2012:297). This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. In this model, it only reaches the evaluation stage which is obtained from suggestions or comments from validators and students to be used as a reference for improving the product that will be used. The results of the data analysis described above consist of 3 discussions, namely (1) media expert trial results, (2) material expert trial results, and (3) student trial results. The results obtained from the media expert validation data analysis namely the total obtained is 54 out of a maximum total of 75. Based on these calculations, the average product validation obtained by media experts is 72%, so it can be seen that this E-Module product is found between 61-80% (Good) Ahmi validation data analysis material, namely the total obtained is 40 out of a maximum total of 50. Based on these calculations, the average product validation obtained by material experts is 80%, so it can be seen that this E-Module product is between 61-80% (Good). The results of the total student assessment obtained were 2319 out of a maximum total of 2520. Based on the t calculation, an average score of 92% was obtained. It can be seen that this E-Module product is between 81-100% (Very Good).

Abstract

Penetapan Peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Nomor 12 Tahun 2020 menjadi poin utama dengan mempertimbangkan kesejahteraan nelayan, peningkatan ekonomi, dan peran signifikan dalam mendukung devisa yang dijadikan sebagai landasan dalam menetapkan kebijakan. Namun, kontroversi yang melibatkan peraturan tersebut memicu kasus sumber daya kepemilikan bersama. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memaparkan mengenai penyalahgunaan kekuasaan dalam kasus korupsi ekspor benih lobster oleh Edhy Prabowo, relasi partron-klien, dan analisis teoritis. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui literatur, buku, artikel, jurnal, dan sumber lainnya yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Edhy Prabowo mengatasnamakan kesejahteraan nelayan sebagai alasan untuk menetapkan Permen KP Nomor 12 Tahun 2020 yang kemudian menjadi kontroversial, menimbulkan kepemilikan bersama yang berujung pada tindak pidana korupsi. Penetapan regulasi kebijakan tersebut tidak sejalan dengan pelaksanaan yang mengundang kecurigaan terhadap Edhy Prabowo, yang akhirnya menjadi pelaku tindak pidana korupsi. Tindakan ini melibatkan praktik suap antara Edhy Prabowo, tim Due Diligence, dan perusahaan ekspedisi. Berdasarkan kasus korupsi tersebut, peneliti menggunakan analisis hubungan patron-klien dan teori yang relevan, yaitu Teori Michel Foucalt dan Teori Donald R. Cressey.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of sociology teachers in implementing character education values, particularly tolerance and social care, at SMA Negeri 95 Jakarta. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants consist of the school principal, sociology teachers, and nine students, totaling eleven informants. The results show that the implementation of character education values, especially tolerance and social care, has been successfully carried out. Sociology teachers play a crucial role in instilling the values of tolerance and social care in classroom learning and through various structured and systematic school programs and activities. These programs include routine school activities such as "Clean Friday," involving the entire school community, which represents diversity. Additionally, these efforts foster attitudes aligned with the school's goals of social care and living harmoniously with existing differences.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility and practicality of animaker-based sociology learning media on social conflict material for class. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. In this model, it only reaches the evaluation stage which is obtained from suggestions or comments from validators and students to be used as a reference for the product to be used. The results of the data analysis described above consist of 3 discussions, namely (1) media expert trial results, (2) material expert trial results, and (3) student trial results. The results obtained from the media expert validation data analysis were a total of 72 out of a maximum total of 85. Based on these calculations, the average product validation obtained by media experts was 84%, so it can be seen that this animaker-based sociology learning media product is found among 81<100% very decent. Analysis of material expert validation data, namely a total of 44 out of a maximum total of 65. Based on these calculations, the average product validation by material experts is 67%, so it can be seen that this animaker-based sociology learning media product is found between 61-80%. (worthy). The results of the total student assessment obtained were 74%, it can be seen that the Animaker-based sociology learning media product was between 61<80% (feasible).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and results of community empowerment through Rumah Budaya Kampung Bangka in Pontianak. The urgency of this research lies in the importance of local culture preservation and community economic development in the midst of modernization. This research highlights the uniqueness of Rumah Budaya Kampung Bangka as a tourist attraction that not only preserves cultural heritage, but also empowers local communities through various programs that involve active participation. The method used in this research is observation and interviews with resource persons, including the manager of the cultural house. The results showed that this cultural house succeeded in increasing community income through the sale of handicraft and culinary products, as well as attracting visitors to learn more about Malay culture. The conclusion of this study confirms that the success of Kampung Bangka Cultural House depends on the collaboration between the government and the community, as well as the need for evaluation and innovation in work programs to ensure sustainability and cultural development in the future. This research is expected to provide insights for other cultural house managers in developing similar programs

Abstract

The study conducted in this article aims to know the teacher's efforts and elements in schools in instilling anti-corruption values at SMP AS-Syifa in advantage of anti-corruption values taught to citizenship education (PPKN). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The culture of corruption is familiar in Indonesia therefore the importance of planting anti-corruption values. Anti-Corruption Culture is duly taught in learning. The role of teachers at schools not only teaches learning materials, but rather forming the personality of learners to have a concern, honesty, responsibility, discipline, simplicity, independence, and hard work that teaches at school. Not only limited through the role of teachers alone planting anti-corruption values is realized but many aspects that can support it can run well that is through the elements in school. Planting of anti-corruption values can be implanted to learners with various things to create a tanned generation of laws and rules. But the reality of schools not many teaches that indicator of good anticorruption in the elementary level to high school level. The leader of the educator, especially the teacher of the Citizenship Education Studies (PPKN) is essential in realizing the anti-corruption generation in the education environment. This is done to create critical learners and are oriented to the application of anti-corruption values in everyday life.

Abstract

Regenerasi pemimpin organisasi mahasiswa di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan dilaksanakan rutin satu tahun sekali. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa yang ingin mencalonkan diri menjadi pemimpin organisasi mahasiswa harus memiliki modal sosial antara lain jaringan, norma, dan kepercayaan. Penelitian ini menggambarkan tentang modal sosial seperti apa yang harus dimiliki oleh pemimpin organisasi mahasiswa dalam memenangkan pemilihan raya mahasiswa FKIP Untirta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 20 informan kunci yaitu ketua organisasi internal yang ada di FKIP Untirta, dan 3 informan tambahan yaitu mahasiswa FKIP Untirta. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori modal sosial dari Robert Putnam yang terdiri dari jaringan, norma, dan kepercayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) jaringan yang ada berupa keikut sertaan mahasiswa kepada organisasi eksternal kampus, relasi dengan teman-teman jurusan, dan relasi teman-teman fakultas. (2) norma berupa persyaratan atau aturan yang ada untuk dapat mencalonkan diri menejadi pemimpin organisasi mahasiswa di FKIP Untirta, aturan tersebut terdapat di Peraturan Fakultas. (3) kepercayaan timbul ketika mahasiswa telah sukses menjalankan program kerja yang besar dan juga tawaran berupa visi-misi atau program kerja unggulan.
