Abstract

Background: Peningkatan kualitas gizi anak usia dini sangat penting dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang optimal, terutama di wilayah Kabupaten Tangerang yang masih menghadapi permasalahan stunting. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru PAUD dan orang tua terkait pentingnya nutrisi seimbang dan pemanfaatan bahan makanan lokal dalam menyusun menu makanan sehat di sekolah. Metode: Kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan interaktif telah dilaksanakan, meliputi teknik memasak sehat, pengetahuan gizi, dan penggunaan bahan pangan lokal. Selain itu, penerapan teknologi dilakukan melalui media sosial untuk menyebarkan informasi pentingnya gizi seimbang serta menyediakan tutorial memasak. Hasil: Evaluasi program dilakukan melalui Pre-Test dan Post-Test yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta. Survei kepuasan satu bulan setelah program juga menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan yang diberikan mulai diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulan: Program ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi angka kekurangan gizi pada anak usia dini dan mendorong penggunaan bahan makanan lokal sebagai upaya keberlanjutan kesehatan anak di PAUD.

Abstract

Teachers have the freedom to choose various open tools so that learning can be tailored to the learning needs and interests of students (Kemendikbudristek, 2022). Understanding concepts will be more optimal in learning because children do not only focus on the results but understand the learning process and children will understand a learning concept thereby forming children's competence in learning (Nufus & Pertiwi, 2021). Just like learning calistung, data shows that the level of calistung, especially in reading and writing, is still low (Data, 2015). Teachers can use various media to optimize teaching and learning activities (Nufus, 2021), not only teachers but parents can also apply various media in an activity to support children's growth and development (Ismail, 2006). In the era of technology, teachers can easily get media that supports learning. Conventional media that is made by themselves from used materials with the concept of going green has a plus point and introduces children to how to protect the earth. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The place of research is PAUD Aisyiyah Baitul Athfaal. This research was conducted from 12-30 June 2023, and involved 50 teachers and parents. Researchers collect data using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Researchers provide an understanding of the growth and development of children aged 4-6 years which is integrated into calistung abilities, the results are that of the 50 research subjects the majority do not know child growth and development according to age, looking at children so that teachers and parents do not understand the concept of calistung in children aged 4-6 years . Parents choose to buy book packages for calistung according to age and teachers rely on existing book packages for calistung learning media, parents cannot make their own media using existing or used materials because they think it is troublesome and time consuming. The next step is direct practice in making media for learning calistung using used media with the concept of going green, enthusiastic teachers and parents in the process of making media using materials from used cardboard, glue, various shapes and colors of used bottle caps, cardboard and rubber bands.

Abstract

Today's teens face challenges more than previous generations. The use of information and technology are mentioned as among the causes of problems for teenagers in Indonesia, such as; pornography, promiscuity, premarital sex, and low motivation to study. A positive parenting is needed to help adolescents build their resilience and self-esteem to deal with obstacles in their life. Previous research on parenting styles showed that parents who used strength-based parenting helped children to develop coping skills and increased self-esteem in teenagers. Strength-based parenting is used to identify and encourage teens to recognize and use their strengths in every aspect of their life. Thus, the current study was conducted to see this parental pattern's contribution to adolescents' resilience and self-esteem. The study was held on teenagers aged 11-18 from a family using Talents Mapping in Indonesia. Sixty responses were taken by using the Strength-Based Parenting Scale, Child Youth Resilience Measure-Revised, and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. Data is analysed using a regression test. The findings showed that the effects of strength-based parenting on a teenager's self-esteem are positive and significant. It was also found that resilience is positively related to youth's self-esteem. Furthermore, strength-based parenting and resilience are simultaneously positive and significant on teenagers' self-esteem, as 10.4%.

Abstract

Having a very important role in shaping the quality of life and welfare of children in the future, health and nutrition literacy is very necessary to be given from an early age. This study aims to analyze health and nutrition literacy in early childhood through a philosophical approach that explores the conceptual and epistemological basis of understanding health and nutrition at an early age. The dimensions used in this philosophical approach are ontology, epistemology, and axiology of health and nutrition literacy as knowledge rooted in the moral and ethical values ​​of families and communities. By using the literature review method, this study explores how the concept of health and nutrition literacy can be understood as influencing the quality of children's lifestyles. The results of the study show that health and nutrition literacy in early childhood is not only the acquisition of information, but also the formation of critical thinking patterns from an early age regarding the importance of health and a balanced diet that will impact their ability to make decisions related to health in the future. Through this understanding, families and educational institutions are expected to be able to play an active role in instilling a basic understanding of health and nutrition, thus producing a generation that is more aware and responsible for health. This study also emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach in early childhood education, where health and nutrition literacy are integrated into the child's parenting and learning environment as an effort to achieve the goals of Holistic Integrative PAUD in Indonesia.   ABSTRAK Memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pembentukan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan anak di masa mendatang, literasi kesehatan dan gizi sangat diperlukan diberikan sejak usia dini. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis literasi kesehatan dan gizi anak usia dini melalui pendekatan filosofis yang mengeksplorasi dasar-dasar konseptual dan epistemologis mengenai pemahaman kesehatan dan gizi di usia dini. Dimensi yang digunakan dalam pendekatan filosofis ini adalah ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi literasi kesehatan dan gizi sebagai sebuah pengetahuan yang mengakar pada nilai-nilai moral dan etika keluarga serta masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan metode literatur review, kajian ini menggali bagaimana konsep literasi kesehatan dan gizi dapat dipahami sebagai yang mempengaruhi kualitas pola hidup anak. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa literasi kesehatan dan gizi pada anak usia dini bukan hanya perolehan informasi semata, melainkan pembentukan pola pikir kritis sejak dini mengenai pentingnya kesehatan dan pola makan seimbang yang akan berdampak pada kemampuan mereka membuat keputusan terkait kesehatan di masa depan. Melalui pemahaman ini, keluarga dan lembaga pendidikan diharapkan mampu berperan aktif dalam menanamkan pemahaman dasar tentang kesehatan dan gizi, sehingga menghasilkan generasi yang lebih sadar dan bertanggung jawab terhadap kesehatan. Kajian ini juga menekankan pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, di mana literasi kesehatan dan gizi terintegrasi dalam pola asuh dan lingkungan belajar anak sebagai upaya mencapai tujuan PAUD Holistik Integratif di Indonesia.

Abstract

Kemuning Village, Kresek sub-district, Tangerang has the advantage of adequate community self-sufficiency, starting from its aesthetic location, and many rice fields but its location is not too far from the city center. Although the stunting rate in this village has decreased, the relevant village government is not necessarily complacent by continuing to make preventive efforts, one of which is by accepting this community service team to provide additional food and also health checks. Some people who participated in the health check had blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid levels above normal.

Abstract

Kurangnya sikap tanggung jawab anak disebabkan karena tontonan yang kurang baik dan kurang mendidik yang ditiru anak sehingga anak mudah meniru perilaku buruk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media video animasi terhadap sikap tanggung jawab anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey deskriptif. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 25 orang tua murid yang memiliki anak usia dini dan mendapatkan stimulasi media video animasi dari 3 guru di Sekolah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengisi angket, melakukan observasi dan wawancara. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes yang telah divalidasi dengan analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik. Sebelum uji hipotesis dilakukan terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hasil yang signifikan dalam proses pembelajaran media video animasi terhadap peningkatan sikap tanggung jawab anak usia dini, dengan hasil analisis Rhitung sebesar = 2,238 > Rtabel = 2,238 pada taraf signifikan = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video animasi tentang tanggung jawab dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan efektif untuk meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab anak usia dini. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan agar dapat memahami dan memberikan pembelajaran yang tepat kepada anak agar perkembangan kemampuan sikap tanggung jawab anak dapat berkembang lebih baik lagi dan anak dapat dengan mudah menghadapi tantangan teknologi di level pendidikan selanjutnya.

Abstract

Many consumers seek nutritional information and halal certification on food packaging to make informed choices and build trust. However, culinary MSMEs in Banten often lack the knowledge on proper labeling procedures. To address this gap, a community service program was initiated to educate Banten's culinary MSMEs on the significance of including nutritional value and halal labels on their products. The program utilized online counseling sessions (Zoom Meetings) with discussions, Q&A sessions, and e-questionnaires. Evaluation results highlighted a high level of understanding among participants, with an average score of 91.22% for knowledge (cognitive aspect), 92.36% for attitude (affective aspect), and 90.97% for willingness to act (behavioral aspect).

Abstract

In Indonesia, halal labeling is crucial for Muslim consumers, but understanding varies, especially among early childhood children. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of halal and healthy food concepts. The activity was carried out using interactive education methods (storytelling, singing, halal logo demonstrations) at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Panongan 1. The results of the activity showed an increase in children's understanding of halal food concepts and the Indonesian halal logo. The interactive education conducted proved to be effective, engaging, and able to help children remember the halal concept in a fun way. This activity emphasizes the importance of the role of teachers, parents, and educational institutions in introducing the concept of halal food from an early age, to build awareness and positive habits towards food consumption that aligns with Islamic principles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi awal anak melalui penggunaan media bahan alam pada kelompok B di PAUD Pelangi Bunda Kembangan Jakarta, tahun ajaran 2021/2022. (2) pelaksanaan dari kegiatan literasi awal anak menggunakan media bahan alam pada kelompok B di PAUD Pelangi Bunda Kembangan Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan Tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang memiliki empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, Tindakan,observasi, dan refleksi. Setiap siklus dilakukan dengan dua kali pertemuan. Subyek penelitian ini adalahpeserta didik pada kelompok B PAUD Pelangi Bunda Kembangan Jakarta, tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah peserta didik 6 anak yang terdiri dari 3 anak laki-laki dan 3 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulam data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil karya dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media bahan alam dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kemampuan literasi awal anak kelompok B di PAUD Pelangi Bunda Kembangan Jakarta. Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan media bahan alam dalam pengembangan literasi awal anak pada kelompok B di PAUD Pelang Bunda Kembangan Jakarta pada siklus I menunjukkan kemampuan anak dominan berada pada kriteria Berkembang Sesuai harapan 33,33% atau berada pada katagori cukup. Pada siklus II menunjukkan kemampuan anak berada pada rentang penilaian Berkembang sangat baik dengan kriteria ketuntasan sebanyak 72,91%atau berada dalam katagori baik, dengan demikian hasil observasi kemampuan literasi awal anak usia dini meningkat. Perbandingan hasil yang dicapai sebagai berikut : Pra siklus yang Berkembang sesuai Harapan mencapai 16,66%, pada siklus I yang Berkembang Sesuai Harapan mencapai 33,33% dan pada siklus II yang Berkembang Sangay Baik mencapai 72,91%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media bahan alam dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi awal anak kelompok B PAUD Pelangi Bunda Kembangan Jakarta

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out story models that are suitable for children aged 4-5 years and how to implement them in SMV Kindergarten so that children's English vocabulary increases. Adding English vocabulary in a tri-lingual school environment (Mandarin, English and Indonesian) will become more complicated when children start learning vocabulary from different languages. Because the meaning of one word can be interpreted differently, it is important for children to understand the vocabulary as a whole in one sentence or story. The method used in this research is the classroom action method which is carried out in two cycles. The results obtained from this research are that children aged 4-5 years can absorb and understand English vocabulary thoroughly and can use this vocabulary in everyday life. And children aged 4-5 years like stories told by their teachers using simple English modified by the teacher.
