Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perkembangan kebiasaan disiplin siswa , terutama melalui keteladanan dan contoh yang di berikan oleh guru dan staf serta kebiasaan positif yang dibangun dalam keseharian siswa, serta untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah literature review. Literature review adalah suatu metodologi penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan dan merangkum hasil-hasil penelitian sebelumnya, serta menganalisis pandangan para ahli yang terdapat dalam teks.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter melalui keteladanan guru dan pembiasaan aktivitas positif di sekolah berdampak signifikan dalam membentuk moral dan etika siswa, seperti kejujuran, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab. Kesimpulannya, keteladanan dan pembiasaan merupakan metode efektif dalam pendidikan karakter yang membutuhkan konsistensi dan dukungan dari seluruh elemen sekolah untuk menciptakan generasi berkarakter kuat.

Abstract

This study explores the role of value education as the foundation for character formation among students in the digital era. The ongoing digital transformation has brought significant impacts on the educational process, particularly in shaping students’ character. The rapid advancement of technology presents new challenges, including the risk of gadget addiction, the spread of negative information, and the decline of moral values, all of which must be addressed through systematic value education. This article discusses the function of value education as a fundamental element in character building within the digital age by employing a conceptual approach and literature review from various recent studies. The findings reveal that the integration of value education into the curriculum and the learning environment is essential to develop students who are adaptive, responsible, and ethical in facing the dynamic nature of digital life. Furthermore, the study emphasizes that adaptive strategies, innovative pedagogy, and the ethical use of digital technology are crucial to strengthening students’ character development. Value education not only acts as a medium for transferring moral principles but also as a guide for students to apply these values in real-life digital interactions. Ultimately, this research concludes that value education serves as a vital pillar in preparing a generation grounded in moral integrity and social responsibility amidst the rapid technological changes of the modern world.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of value education in habituation-based Civic Education (PKn) subjects at the elementary school level. The background of the research departs from the urgent need to internalize character values in students, not only in the form of cognitive understanding, but also in real behavior that is manifested through the habituation process. The research uses a quantitative method with an observational approach. The subject of the study was 35 students in grade V of SD Negeri 132410 Tanjungbalai. The research instrument is in the form of observation sheets developed based on three main indicators, namely responsibility, discipline, and cooperation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques in the form of percentages and average values. The results of the study showed that the achievement rate of value implementation was in the high category, with an average of 81.9%. These findings confirm that habituation strategies that include daily practice, teacher examples, and strengthening attitudes through routine school activities are able to support the internalization of student character values effectively. The implications of this study recommend that habituation practices be systematically integrated into the PKn curriculum as an alternative strategy in strengthening character education, so that PKn learning is not only limited to knowledge transfer, but also a means of forming real civic behavior.

Abstract

Bermain merupakan pekerjaan bagi anak, setiap anak ingin selalu bermain sebab dengan bermain anak merasa rileks tidak tertekan. Banyak sekali permainan di luar rumah yang bisamenstimulasi perkembangan sosial emosional anakyaitu permainan- permainan tradisional seperti petak umpet Nilai Karakter yang Terdapat dalam Permainan Tradisional Petak Umpet: a) Religius Nilai religius nampak ketika sebelum bermain, anak berdoa bersama terlebih dahulu. b) Sportivitas dan Kejujuran Sportivitas terlihat ketika pemain menyetujui aturan yang telah disepakati dan jujur ketika jadi penjaga. c) Cinta Tanah Air Melestarikan budaya Indonesia adalah bentuk cinta tanah air anak-anak kepada Negara Republik Indonesia. d) Bersahabat/Berkomunikatif Komunikasi di dalam sebuah permainan sangat penting untuk menjaga supaya tidak terjadi kesalahpahaman satu sama lain. e) Kecermatan Kecermatan pemain diperlukan untuk mencari tempat persembunyian yang nantinya sulit ditemukan oleh penjaga dan mencari waktu yang tepat untuk bisa menyentuh benteng. f) Mandiri dan bekerja keras Dalam permainan petak umpet.g) Demokratis Nilai demokratis terlihat ketika antar pemain bisa menghormati dan menghargai satu sama lain meskipun terdapat perbedaan diantara mereka. h) Bertanggungjawab Nilai tanggungjawab nampak pada pemain yang harus mencari tempat persembunyian dan penjaga harus bersedia untuk mencari teman dan menjaga benteng i) Kepatuhan Nilai kepatuhan terlihat ketika sebelum memulai permainan, ada ketentuan-ketentuan yang harus disepakati oleh semua pemain.

Abstract

Hasil pendidikan yang terbaik dapat dicapai dengan cara belajar siswa atau kebiasaan belajar yang dilakukan oleh siswa, sehingga siswa memperoleh prestasi dalam pendidikan. Sebagai generasi penerus, setiap siswa perlu mendapat pendidikan yang baik sehingga potensi-potensi dirinya dapat berkembang dengan pesat, tumbuh menjadi manusia yang memiliki kepribadian tangguh dan memiliki berbagai macam kemampuan serta keterampilan yang bermanfaat (Ananda, 2017: 20). Peneliti ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Bogdan dan Biklen (Ananda & Fadhilaturrahmi, 2018: 15) menjelaskan bahwa “dalam bidang pendidikan, penelitian kualitatif sering disebut penelitian naturalistik, karena penelitian ini sering berada di tempat dimana peristiwa peristiwa yang menarik perhatian terjadi secara alamiah”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan mencari informasi mengenai kebiasaan belajar siswa berprestasi, dalam penelitian ini dimulai dari pencarian siswa berprestasi secara akademik yang memiliki nilai tertinggi yang masuk rangking tiga besar. Kebiasaan siswa berprestasi saat di sekolah, siswa selalu hadir tepat waktu sebelum proses belajar mengajar dimulai, siswa selalu memperhatikan dan mendengarkan guru yang sedang menjelaskan materi pelajaran di depan kelas, mencatat materi yang dipelajari, siswa bertanya mengenai materi yang kurang dipahaminya dan siswa konsentrasi dan disiplin dalam mengikuti pembelajaran di dalam kelas.

Abstract

Ujung dari pendidikan adalah membentuk individu yang berakhlak mulia, cerdas, potensial dan mandiri, sebagai pondasi terbentuknya masyarakat Indonesia yang madani. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, pemerintah melalui Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menyusun kuirkulum yang berkembang sesuai kebutuhannya terhadap anak didik, serta melindungi setiap lapisan masyarakat melalui kebijakan-kebijakan pasal terkait, demi tercapainya manusia yang berpendidikan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, dengan observasi langsung oleh peneliti, dan pengumpulan dokumen serta wawancara dilaksanakan di SLB (Sekolah Luar Biasa) di Deliserdang, mulai bulan Januari hingga Maret 2023. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan adanya perubahan perilaku dari murid-murid disabilitas tunagrahita setelah memperoleh pendidikan khususnya mata pelajaran PKN (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan) di sekolah, khususnya di Sekolah Luar Biasa, sebagai satuan pendidikan khusus formal. Pelajaran PKN di SLB telah berhasil menanamkan pribadi warga negara yang baik dengan memahami hak dan kewajibannya dalam perilaku sehari-hari.

Abstract

The main problem that is a challenge in character formation through civic education is the increasing development of the digital era which changes the mindset and character of students. Therefore, value education in civics is needed to shape the character of elementary school students in the current digital era. This study uses a literature study method by searching for sources such as scientific articles, journals, and documents related to research problems. The data used are secondary data obtained from relevant books, articles, and journals. Data collection techniques include literature studies, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. Through literature studies and empirical data analysis from several studies, it was found that the role of value education in civics has an important role in building the moral character of students in the digital era. Not only is it able to form good student character, but it also prepares students to face various challenges that arise due to negative content such as cyberbullying, hoaxes, gadget addiction, pornographic sites, and other unethical behavior. In the midst of rapid technological developments, civics aims not only to make students academically intelligent, but also to form a strong, creative, critical, and active moral character. Civic Education provides students with the skills to develop attitudes of tolerance, peace, harmony, and respect for diversity. Value education in Civic Education (PKn) plays a very important role in shaping students' character, especially in the challenging digital era. Digital technology provides broad access to information, but also has negative impacts. Therefore, a structured and innovative approach is needed in learning PKn, which not only educates students about the values ??of Pancasila, but also helps them develop digital literacy and online ethics. The role of families, teachers, and the community is also very crucial in supporting students' character education.

Abstract

The phenomenon of radicalism among teenagers in Indonesia is increasingly worrying, so Pancasila education is one solution to prevent the spread of extreme ideology. This study aims to explore how Pancasila education in elementary schools can play a role in building students' character and preventing radicalization. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that the application of Pancasila values ??in the elementary school curriculum can foster an attitude of tolerance and social awareness among students. Through interactive learning methods, such as group discussions and educational games, students find it easier to understand and internalize these values ??in their daily lives. In addition, the role of teachers as role models is very important in instilling Pancasila values ??in students. Teachers are expected to be able to create a learning environment that supports the development of positive character. However, challenges remain, especially related to the negative influence of social media that can influence students' thinking. Pancasila education must be taught consistently and innovatively to form a strong young generation in facing radical ideology. In conclusion, Pancasila education is not just a subject, but is the foundation for creating a safe and harmonious society. By instilling the noble values ??of Pancasila from an early age, it is hoped that future generations can grow into tolerant individuals who appreciate diversity.

Abstract

Instilling moral values in elementary school students is an important foundation in the formation of the character of the younger generation. Civic Education, as one of the compulsory subjects in elementary school, has great potential in instilling moral and ethical values in students. However, the effectiveness of Civic Education in achieving this goal still needs to be studied further. This research method is a conceptual qualitative research using the Library Research method, which is carried out by collecting Secondary Data in the form of data from scientific articles or scientific papers, research journals, and reports related to the chosen topic. The results of the study indicate that Civic Education has a significant role in instilling moral values in elementary school students. The effectiveness of instilling these values is influenced by several factors, including: (1) interactive and experience-based learning methods, (2) teacher role models in implementing moral values, (3) integration of moral values in daily activities at school, and (4) collaboration between schools and parents in strengthening the values taught. Civic Education has proven to be effective in instilling moral values in elementary school students. However, this success depends on a holistic approach involving various parties and the right learning methods. This study recommends the need to develop a more contextual civics curriculum and improve teacher competence in integrating moral values in learning.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas peran Gereja dalam menegakkan keadilan bagi perempuan di Sumba, khususnya dalam menghadapi praktik “kawin tangkap” yang merugikan perempuan. Praktik ini melibatkan kekerasan fisik, seksual, dan psikologis serta melanggar hak-hak perempuan. Gereja berperan aktif dalam advokasi keadilan gender, kesetaraan, serta menentang praktik budaya yang berbahaya. Melalui dialog dengan pemimpin adat dan kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak, Gereja berupaya menghapus praktik ini.Selain itu, artikel ini menyoroti peran perempuan dalam struktur rumah adat Sumba, Uma Kalada, yang mencerminkan kesetaraan gender dalam masyarakat adat. Dengan memahami makna dan nilai-nilai Uma Kalada, Gereja dapat menggunakan pendekatan budaya dalam memperjuangkan hak perempuan.Kerangka teoritis penelitian ini mencakup teori keadilan John Rawls, konsep solidaritas, dan peran Gereja dalam hak asasi manusia. Melalui pendidikan, advokasi, dan kolaborasi, termasuk dengan lembaga Rumah Budaya Sumba, Gereja berupaya membawa perubahan positif bagi perempuan Sumba. Artikel ini menekankan perlunya pendekatan bijak dalam menyikapi budaya lokal, agar perubahan yang diupayakan tetap menghormati tradisi dan memperkuat keadilan sosial bagi perempuan.
