Abstract

This study investigates the impact of technology in teaching and the understanding of religious values on the moral development of students in Islamic schools in Indonesia. A quantitative analysis using Structural Equation Modelling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed to examine the relationships among these key variables. The study's questionnaire demonstrated strong validity and reliability. Discriminant validity confirmed the distinctiveness of the constructs. Hypothesis tests revealed significant positive relationships between Religious Values and Students' Moral Development and between Technology Use in Teaching and Students' Moral Development. These results underscore the critical role of both religious values and technology-enhanced teaching methods in shaping the moral character of students. The findings provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers in Islamic schools, emphasizing the potential of technology in religious education without compromising moral development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the morals of students and determine the influence of the Hybrid Learning method in Islamic religious education subjects on improving the morals of students at UPTD SMPN 4 Parepare. The research uses a qualitative approach, there are two data sources used, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources, the key research instrument is the researcher himself, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation, the data analysis technique used is data reduction, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that: Students' morals have decreased since post-pandemic learning. Implementation of the Hybrid Learning method in Islamic Religious Education Subjects to improve students' morals, namely the Hybrid Learning method can support the improvement of students' morals but on the other hand it can also hinder the improvement of students' morals if it is not implemented properly.

Abstract

This comparative study delves into the dynamics of early childhood education (ECE) in Taiwan, examining the coexistence and interaction between traditional and innovative pedagogical approaches. Through qualitative research methods, including interviews, focus groups, and participant observations, insights were gathered from key stakeholders in Taiwanese ECE settings. Findings reveal that traditional approaches, rooted in Confucian values, emphasize academic readiness and teacher-directed instruction, while innovative methodologies prioritize holistic development and child-centered learning experiences. Contextual factors such as socio-economic influences and cultural traditions significantly shape the adoption and effectiveness of these approaches. The study underscores the importance of a balanced approach that integrates the strengths of both traditional and innovative methods to optimize early childhood learning experiences. These insights have implications for policy-making, curriculum development, and professional development initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of early childhood education in Taiwan.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of the family in forming religious awareness in elementary school children. In the complex context of modern life, the role of the family is crucial in guiding children to religious values and awareness. Qualitative research methods were used with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with parents and children, participant observation in daily family interactions, as well as content analysis of religious documents and materials used at home. The research results show that family interactions, parental role models, a supportive family environment, and religious practices at home all contribute to forming a strong foundation for children's religious awareness. These findings strengthen theoretical studies of the role of the family in religious education and child development, and provide a valuable contribution to a deeper understanding of the key factors that influence this process. In conclusion, the role of the family has a significant impact in forming religious awareness in elementary school-aged children, and efforts need to continue to be made to strengthen the positive role of the family in children's religious education.

Abstract

The Mappatamma' (Khatam Al-Qur'an) tradition for prospective brides in the Makassar tribal community, when they want to get married, is a momentum that must be carried out from their perspective. This study aims to describe the implementation procedures and reveal the value of Islamic education in the Mappatamma' tradition in the Bugis-Makassar Tribe. The approach used in this study is phenomenology. This study used qualitative methods to describe the procedures for implementing and describing the value of Islamic education in the Mappatamma tradition. Data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation were then analyzed using triangulation. The results of the study show that the Mappatamma tradition is an interesting tradition full of values because this tradition is not only a means of traditional entertainment in cultural globalization, but the tradition is full of meanings and messages that express the value system adopted by the community. The Makassar tribe contains many values ​​of Islamic education, namely faith, morals, intellectual, physical and psychological, and social education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah Parepare dengan permasalahan yaitu bagaimana semangat belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, bagaimana peran pendidik dalam meningkatkan semangat belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan untuk bagaimana faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam menumbuhkan semangat belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan sumber data primer yaitu peserta didik, kepala sekolah, guru pendidikan agama Islam dan sumber data sekunder yaitu buku, dokumentasi dan artikel, teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, teknik analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian bahwa semangat belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam sesuai data di lapangan berbeda-beda ada yang memiliki semangat belajar tinggi, sedang hingga rendah. Sejalan dengan hasil wawancara bahwa semangat belajar peserta didik berbeda-beda, akan tetapi mayoritas peserta didik memiliki semangat belajar tinggi. Peran pendidik terhadap peningkatan semangat belajar peserta didik memiliki peranan penting, antara lain, sebagai demonstrator, pengelola kelas, mediator, fasilitator dan motivator. Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam menumbuhkan semangat belajar peserta didik pertama, faktor pendukung seperti metode pembelajaran motivasi, dukungan dan kebutuhan peserta didik dalam belajar. Kedua, faktor penghambat seperti penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat, kurang disiplin, materi kurang diminati peserta didik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pelatihan menulis dan publikasi artikel ilmiah internasional bereputasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan profesionalisme dosen dalam menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang memenuhi standar internasional serta mengadaptasi teknologi kecerdasan buatan dalam penelitian dan penulisan. Metode yang digunakan dalam Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) ini melibatkan pelatihan intensif berupa workshop, pembelajaran daring, dan pendampingan langsung, yang mencakup teknik penulisan artikel ilmiah, pemilihan jurnal bereputasi, serta penggunaan alat berbasis artificial intelligence untuk menganalisis data dan menyusun tulisan yang berkualitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan dosen dalam menulis artikel ilmiah yang diterima di jurnal internasional bereputasi, memperluas jaringan akademik, serta meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang penerapan kecerdasan buatan dalam riset, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas publikasi ilmiah mereka di kancah internasional.

Abstract

This study examines the potential use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in improving the digital competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers through a library research approach. Using systematic documentation techniques and content analysis, this study analyzes various literature, documents, and research results related to the implementation of AI in teacher professional development, especially in the context of Islamic education. Data were collected from reputable journals, reference books, and education policy documents in the period 2019-2024. The results of the analysis indicate that AI tools have significant potential in improving four aspects of PAI teachers' digital competence: digital literacy, learning content development, digital classroom management, and technology-based learning evaluation. The research findings also reveal challenges in implementing AI, such as the digital divide, resistance to change, and ethical considerations in the context of Islamic education. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development of an AI integration framework in improving the competence of PAI teachers, as well as providing practical implications for education policy makers and PAI practitioners in optimizing the use of AI technology for teacher professional development.

Abstract

Kota Parepare yang terdapat di propinsi Sulawesi kini juga dikenal dengan julukan dengan sebutan kota 1000 warung kopi. Warung kopi dapat menghasilkan 1-2 kg ampas kopi basah per hari. Apabila diperkirakan secara kumulatif seluruh warung kopi yang terdapat dikota parepare dalam seharinya dapat menghasilkan lebih dari 1 ton. Permasalahan Panti  Asuhan Abadi Aisyah Kota Parepare memiliki pengurus 29 orang dan mengasuh anak sebanyak 48 anak asuh. Pendanaan panti asuhan hanya bersumber dari para donator tetap, donator tidak tetap, Lembaga pemerintah dan swasta. Solusi dan Metode Pelatihan pembuatan Briket selain   sebagai ekstrakulikuler anak asuhan juga dapat bernilai ekonomis bagi panti asuhan Hasil  Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melalui pelatihan Peningkatan Motivasi dan kapabilitas SDM pelaku usaha telah berjalan sesuai harapan, dan Mitra telah menghasilkan produk Briket yang memiliki nilai ekonomis, hal ini tentunya diharapkan mampu meningkatkan perekonomian.  Abstract. Parepare city in Sulawesi province is now also known as the city of 1000 coffee shops. Coffee shops can produce 1-2 kg of wet coffee grounds per day. If it is estimated that cumulatively all coffee shops in the city of Parepare can produce more than 1 ton per day. Problems The Abadi Aisyah Orphanage in Parepare City has 29 administrators and cares for 48 foster children. Funding for the orphanage only comes from regular donors, irregular donors, government and private institutions. Solutions and Methods Training in making briquettes apart from being an extracurricular activity for orphans can also be of economic value to orphanages The results of this community service through training to increase the motivation and capabilities of business human resources have run as expected, and partners have produced briquette products that have economic value, this is certainly expected to be able to improve the economy.
