Abstract

This study aims to determine the interest of Civil Servants (PNS) in cash waqf, with a case study at the South Tangerang Mayor's Office. Waqf is a crucial instrument in community economic empowerment, achieved by converting personal assets into communal ownership. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method with a sample of 150 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square method (SmartPLS 4.0). The results indicate that: (1) Religiosity does not have a significant effect on the interest in cash waqf; (2) Trust does not have a significant effect on the interest in cash waqf; (3) Service does not have a significant effect on the interest in cash waqf; (4) Promotion does not have a significant effect on the interest in cash waqf; and (5) Perception has a significant effect on the interest in cash waqf.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role and dynamics of the LazisMu institution in Depok City and examine its economic institutional design to improve performance through the lens of coercive, mimetic, and normative isomorphism theories. Utilizing a qualitative approach with interviews from seven informants, the findings indicate that LazisMu effectively reduces community uncertainty in the donation of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah, while enhancing social welfare, poverty alleviation, economic empowerment, and community participation. Coercive pressures promote financial transparency, mimetic pressures drive the adoption of best practices from successful organizations, and normative pressures underscore the necessity of human resources training. Future economic institutional designs should focus on the stringent application of coercive regulations, conducting comparative studies to stimulate change, and capacity building for staff. This study contributes to the literature on the economic role of LazisMu in the development of the Depok City community and provides insights into future economic institutional designs from an isomorphism perspective. The research outcomes are expected to positively impact LazisMu and other stakeholders, demonstrating that isomorphism theory can facilitate beneficial changes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan zakat di Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS), meliputi proses pengumpulan, distribusi, dan pelaporan dana zakat, serta mengevaluasi kesesuaiannya dengan tujuan utama Maqashid Syariah menurut perspektif Ibnu Ashur. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada BAZNAS Kota Tanggerang Selatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumentasi terkait pengelolaan zakat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan praktik pengelolaan zakat di BAZNAS dengan prinsip-prinsip Maqashid Syariah yang dikemukakan oleh Ibnu Ashur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BAZNAS telah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Maqashid Syariah dalam pengelolaan zakat, meskipun masih ada beberapa tantangan dan peluang untuk perbaikan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk optimalisasi pengelolaan zakat di BAZNAS agar lebih sesuai dengan prinsip Maqashid Syariah. Implementasi rekomendasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan umat dan mendukung pengembangan ekonomi Islam yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan memberikan wawasan bagi praktisi dan akademisi di bidang ekonomi syariah, khususnya dalam konteks pengelolaan zakat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, trust, satisfaction, and religiosity on customer loyalty, considering perceived value as a mediating variable. The research was conducted on Islamic bank customers in Indonesia, specifically in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, using a quantitative approach based on the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The study collected data from 292 respondents, with 252 meeting the research criteria. The results indicate that satisfaction, service quality, and religiosity have a positive and significant impact on perceived value, whereas customer trust does not have a significant effect. Furthermore, perceived value has been proven to have a strong influence on customer loyalty. The mediation analysis shows that perceived value significantly mediates the relationship between service quality, satisfaction, and religiosity with customer loyalty, while the relationship between customer trust and loyalty is not mediated by perceived value. These findings confirm that improving service quality, customer satisfaction, and religiosity aspects can enhance customers' perceived value, ultimately leading to greater loyalty. Therefore, Islamic banking institutions should prioritize strategies focused on improving service quality, fulfilling customer satisfaction, and addressing religiosity aspects to enhance perceived value and customer loyalty in the long term.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan akad Salam dan Istisna di bank syariah, serta merumuskan strategi yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas penerapannya. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam mengenai fenomena ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan delapan informan kunci yang terdiri dari manajer area, customer service, marketing lending, dosen atau praktisi syariah, appraisal bank syariah, asisten manajer syariah, dan nasabah bank syariah, serta melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendala utama dalam penerapan akad Salam dan Istisna mencakup masalah regulasi, kurangnya literasi masyarakat, dan tantangan operasional terkait infrastruktur dan pengembangan produk. Rekomendasi strategis yang dihasilkan mencakup peningkatan edukasi dan literasi masyarakat, pengembangan produk yang inovatif dan sesuai dengan prinsip syariah, serta peningkatan kolaborasi antara bank syariah dan regulator. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi penerapan akad Salam dan Istisna dapat memperkuat daya saing bank syariah di pasar dan memastikan kepatuhan terhadap prinsip-prinsip syariah.

Abstract

Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana pengelolaan dana zakat produktif, mampukah dana zakat produktif membantu perekonomian mustahik dan seberapa berhasilkah LAZNAS Daarut Tauhiid Cabang Banten dalam mengelola dana zakat produktif. Metode : Menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode interpretif dan menggunakan paradigma tauhid. Model pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dengan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi.Temuan : Pengelolaan dana zakat produktif yang dilakukan oleh LAZNAS Daarut Tauhiid Cabang banten belum optimal, karena dari beberapa program yang dijalankan hanya sebagian yang diberikan pendampingan, bahkan satu program sudah tidak berjalan dikarenakan tidak diberikan pendampingan berkelanjutan, maka dari itu belum sepenuhnya para mustahik terbantu taraf perekonomiannya dan LAZNAS Daarut Tauhiid belum sepenuhnya berhasil mengelola dana zakat produktif untuk membantu perekonomian para mustahik.Orisinalitas : Studi ini berkontribusi secara umum untuk pengetahuan pengelolaan dana zakat produktif yang disalurkan dan secara khusus untuk mengetahui perkembangan zakat produktif yang dimanfaatkan oleh mustahik binaan. Metode interpretif dan paradigma tauhid dalam mempelajari pengelolaan zakat produktif telah membatasi pembahasan pada penelitian sebelumnya yang merupakan masalah pada penelitian ini.Implikasi Manajerial : Berdasarkan penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan LAZNAS Daarut Tauhiid Cabang Banten lebih menekankan dalam segi pendampingan pengembangan usaha- usaha para mustahik, agar nantinya mustahik mampu menjalankan usahanya dan meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga.Kata kunci : Pengelolaan, Zakat Produktif dan Lembaga Amil Zakat Nasional

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of BI Rate, Capital Adequacy Ratio, and Non-Performing Financing Sharia Commercial Bank in 2015-2019 in Indonesia, using a quantitative associative case study approach. The data used in this study used secondary data by searching for data resources in journals, books, literature, and annual report by Sharia Commercial Bank on their website. The result showed that BI Rate by the partial method has a significant positive effect on liquidity, Capital Adequacy rate by the partial method has a significant positive effect on liquidity, and Non-Performing Financing by the partial method has a significant negative effect on liquidity, and BI Rate, Capital Adequacy Ratio, and Non-Performing Financing by simultan method have a significant positive effect on liquidity. Keywords : BI Rate, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non-Performing Financing, Liquidity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of social interaction between administrative officers and Umrah pilgrims in the registration process, both manually and digitally, using an ethnomethodological approach. This research also explores the social, cultural, and technical factors that influence the quality of interaction in order to understand the formation of social meaning through the actions of indexicality, reflexivity, and contextual action. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of in-depth interview data and observation of the Umrah registration process. The results showed that social interaction in Umrah registration is a multidimensional phenomenon. The socio-cultural dimension emphasizes the importance of understanding the pilgrims' character, the quality of trust-based social relations, and adaptive communication to the pilgrims' cultural background. The procedural-technical dimension highlights the role of technology in improving service efficiency, despite challenges such as limited digital literacy. The findings show that adaptive communication and religious values are key elements in building harmonious relationships between administrative officers, religious leaders and worshipers. This research provides important implications for strengthening faith-based services through staff training, inclusive technology development, and cultural and religious value-based approaches, which can be applied in local and global contexts.

Abstract

This study reveals that information asymmetry in Umrah pilgrimage services arises from disparities in access to and control over information between travel agencies and pilgrims. These disparities are driven by a lack of transparency regarding costs, facilities, and schedules, exacerbated by the limited prior knowledge of the pilgrims. This asymmetry manifests in the form of miscommunication, withholding, and delays in information dissemination. Based on Michel Foucault’s theory of power relations, the control of information serves as a tool to influence pilgrims’ behavior and create an unequal dependency. To address this issue, the study recommends improving transparency in service processes, educating pilgrims about their rights and responsibilities, enhancing service planning, and increasing the professionalism of travel agencies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of service quality, customer satisfaction, and trust on customer loyalty, considering religiosity as a moderating variable. The research was conducted on Islamic bank customers in Indonesia using a quantitative approach based on the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Data were collected from 126 respondents, with 102 meeting the research criteria. The results indicate that customer satisfaction has the most significant influence on customer loyalty, while service quality and trust also positively contribute to loyalty, albeit to a lesser extent. Additionally, service quality and satisfaction significantly enhance customer religiosity, whereas trust does not show a significant effect on religiosity. Religiosity, while not directly affecting loyalty, serves as a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between service quality and satisfaction with loyalty. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of enhancing customer experience through high-quality services aligned with Sharia principles, as well as fostering satisfaction and trust to build long-term loyalty. These findings provide practical insights for Islamic bank management to design strategies based on religious values to strengthen customer relationships. Furthermore, this study offers theoretical insights into the critical role of religiosity as a moderating factor in fostering customer loyalty in the Islamic banking sector.
