Abstract

Tersedak merupakan kondisi gawat darurat yang harus cepat ditangani. Bila dibiarkan terlalu lama tubuh bisa mengalami kekurangan oksigen (hipoksia) dan dapat mengakibatkan kematian. Salah satu solusi dengan cara meningkatkan sikap ibu dalam penanganan tersedak metode demontrasi dan video teknik heimlich manuever. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah ada Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Metode Demonstrasi Dan Video Teknik Heimlich Manuever Terhadap Sikap Ibu Dalam Penanganan Tersedak Pada Balita Usia (1-5 Tahun) Di Posyandu Desa Kauman Kecamatan Kauman Tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pre-post test dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Total Sampling dengan seluruh populasi sejumlah 43 responden. Pengambilan data menggunakan lembar kuisioner, pengolahan data menggunakan uji statistic wilcoxon dengan program SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian uji statistic Wilcoxon Test dimana tingkat kemaknaan atau a=0,05 diperoleh P value=0,00 sehingga P value < nilai α atau 0,00 < 0,05 disimpulkan bahwa HO ditolak, Hl diterima artinya ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan metode demonstrasi dan video teknik heimlich manuever terhadap sikap ibu dalam penanganan tersedak pada balita usia (1-5 tahun). Dengan hasil sikap ibu sebelum tindakan sebagian besar responden penelitian mempunyai sikap baik dalam penanganan tersedak dengan berjumlah 24 responden (55,8%). Sedangkan sesudah tindakan hampir seluruhnya responden penelitian mempunyai sikap sangat baik dalam penanganan tersedak pada balita usia (1-5 tahun) dengan berjumlah 33 responden (76,7%). Disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan tentang penanganan tersedak metode demonstrasi dan video teknik heimlich manuever memiliki pengaruh yang sangat baik terhadap sikap ibu dalam penanganan tersedak pada balita usia (1-5 tahun). Dengan ini ibu dapat memperdulikan pendidikan dan tahu mengenasi sikap kasus tersedak pada balita supaya tidak menjadi dampak yang negatif

Abstract

This study aims to explain how much influence the intensity of accessing an Instagram account has on the followers' fulfillment of information needs. This study's population consisted of 100 Instagram followers of the Instagram account @daop6yk. The sampling technique used convenience sampling technique. The primary data was collected using a questionnaire that has undergone validity and reliability testing. The validity test was tested through the Pearson Product Moment formula, while the reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha method. Data analysis in this study used a simple linear regression analysis method. The study's findings indicate that the intensity of access positively influences the fulfillment of information needs. This is indicated by the t count of 10,889 and a significance value of 0,000 <0,05. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,533 or 53,3%. Thus, it can be concluded that the intensity of accessing PT KAI's Instagram account @daop6yk can influence 53,3% of followers' fulfillment of information needs, while the remaining 46,7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Other factors that can influence followers’ fulfillment of information needs are demographic, role-related, and environment.

Abstract

Therapeutic communication is used for the drug abuse rehabilitation process. The purpose of this study was to find out how the process of therapeutic communication in drug abuse rehabilitation at the Lido National Narcotics Agency Rehabilitation Center, West Java. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation which were carried out during the rehabilitation process. This study uses purposive to get subjects that are following the research objectives. The results of the study show that the therapeutic communication process carried out in drug rehabilitation is going well because there is communication between the counsellor and the client, and the client's communication with other clients. Counsellors in rehabilitation have a calling as brothers and sisters so that clients feel they have a close relationship like family. The BNN Lido Rehabilitation Center determines several activities at the work stage to assist the client's recovery process. Such as morning meeting activities, sharing feelings that were felt by the client at that time, vocational starting from cooking, broadcasting, outing or outbound, fish farming activities, hydroponic gardening, and sports together. In the third stage of work, the counsellor has a difference, namely the counsellor Bro Simon makes the client believe by instilling the principle of confidentiality or will not tell his client's problems, Bro Taufan focuses on the main problem and pays attention to the condition of his client, and Sister Oktavia imposes a reward and punishment system on her client if the client does not run and meet the criteria for a rehabilitation program.

Abstract

Purpose: This article aims to describe an event titled Lokananta Gamelan Gigs (LOGIGS), which is regularly held at Lokananta, Surakarta. The event was initiated to address a specific issue: the lack of interest among younger generations, particularly Gen Z, in traditional gamelan arts. To tackle this challenge, the organizers developed strategies to package and promote LOGIGS using a popular culture approach, aiming to spark greater interest in gamelan among young people. Additionally, social aspects, including the importance of collectivism to create an inclusive space within the gamelan community, also form a critical foundation of the event's objectives. This emphasis on collectivism and inclusivity is expected to foster better management skills and increased productivity within the gamelan scene. Methods: This research employs a qualitative method, integrating art studies, cultural studies, management, and ethnography. Data were gathered through Instagram content analysis, media news reviews, direct observations of performances, and interviews. Results and Discussion: Findings reveal that LOGIGS adopts a popular culture approach to realize its vision, as reflected in various elements such as poster design styles, performers' attire, and other subcultural aspects, as well as the event’s overall presentation. LOGIGS also functions as an inclusive space and an educational platform, evident in Instagram posts discussing gamelan knowledge. Conclusion: The implementation of LOGIGS through a popular culture approach highlights an innovative gamelan event management model that has not been explored in prior discussions.

Abstract

General Background: Quality education plays a critical role in shaping democratic citizens with strong national identities. Specific Background: In Indonesian elementary schools, particularly in the subject of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn), students often exhibit low motivation and suboptimal learning outcomes due to conventional teaching methods. Knowledge Gap: Limited empirical research has explored the effectiveness of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model in addressing these issues in early-grade civic education. Aims: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the TSTS model in enhancing student motivation and learning outcomes in PPKn among first-grade students at SDN Palengaan Daya 4. Results: Using a descriptive quantitative approach involving 30 students, the study found statistically significant improvements in both motivation and learning outcomes post-intervention, confirmed through paired t-tests (p < 0.05). Novelty: This research presents the first application of the TSTS model for first-grade civic education at SDN Palengaan Daya 4, offering empirical evidence of its pedagogical value. Implications: The findings support the Merdeka Belajar policy, promoting learner-centered approaches and collaborative environments, and recommend broader implementation of TSTS to foster active civic participation and character development in primary education.Highlight : The TSTS model significantly improves student motivation and learning outcomes in PPKn subjects. It supports the Merdeka Belajar policy by promoting a collaborative and engaging learning environment. Results show statistically significant improvements, indicating TSTS is a pedagogically effective strategy for early-grade civic education. Abstract

Osteoarthritis (OA)  is a joint disorder that affects all parts of the joint, especially cartilage, can have an impact on articular structural damage and loss of synovial joint function as well as causing chronic pain and requires treatment that has minimal side effects and cheap, so research on bay leaves has been carried out as an alternative solution. The research aims to determine the impact of consuming boiled bay leaves as an anti-inflammatory in reducing osteoarthritis pain. Quasi-experimental research design, use pretest posttest group design approach. Pain measurement uses the NRS scale. Samples were taken with a total sampling of 38 osteoarthritis sufferers in Wates Village. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon sign rank test with an interpretation error rate of α = 0.05. The result was that almost half of the respondents, 17 people (44.7%) experienced a decrease in the pain scale to mild pain after being given the consumption of bay leaf decoction with a P value = 0.000, meaning that there was an effect of consuming bay leaf decoction on reducing pain in osteoarthritis patients. Bay leaf bioled has effects on reducing pain in osteoarthritis sufferers because bay leaves contain tannins, flavonoids, alkaloids and essential oils, while flavonoids play an active role as anti-inflammatory by inhibiting transcription factors such as NF-κB. Inhibition of NFκB is part of the activity of flavonoids in inflammatory responses. Abstract

Background: One of the treatments for cataracts is surgery. Lack of knowledge of precataract surgery patients can cause fear, anxiety and stress, because it can threaten the integrity of the body, soul and can cause pain. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of audio visual education on the cataract surgery process on the knowledge and anxiety of precataract surgery patients at Tulungagung hospital Method: This study was conducted on July 15-August 10, 2024 using the pre- experimental design method with a one group pretest posttest design approach. population of all pre-cataract surgery patients at RS Tulungagung underwent surgery on July-August 2024, samples were taken using accidental sampling techniques of 40 respondents Result: in this study with statistical test showed that there was an effect of audio visual education of the cataract surgery process on the knowledge of pre-cataract surgery patients (0.000 <0.05) and anxiety of pre-cataract surgery patients (0.000<0.05) at Tulungagung Hospital in 2024. Conclusion : Audio-visual-based health education carried out by health workers as people who are proven in the health field is very useful in increasing knowledge and reducing anxiety of pre-cataract surgery patients

Abstract

Diabetic foot ulcers are typical wounds that are serious and common complications in people with diabetes with a long healing time. The cost of treating diabetic foot ulcers is relatively expensive because the price of modern dressings is less affordable and the recovery time is long. Complementary dressing interventions are expected to heal diabetic foot ulcers effectively. This case study aims to analyze the results of the implementation of wound care with complementary dressings on the healing of diabetic foot ulcers. This case study uses a descriptive method with a nursing care process approach. The subjects of the case study were patients with diabetes mellitus with grade 1-2 diabetic ulcers. The subjects of the case study were 2 people, who were obtained randomly. The subjects of the case study had signed an informed consent before data collection. The population used was all patients with diabetic foot ulcers. The number of samples used was 2 female patients. The data collection tool used the Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool (BWAT) assessment sheet. The results obtained were an improvement in the wound as indicated by an increase in the score on the assessment sheet with an average difference of 3 points. The complementary dressing technique accelerates the healing of diabetic wounds

Abstract

Marriage is a sacred and everlasting agreement. The phenomenon of contract marriage raises issues regarding the legal regulations that bind it. Contract marriage is a marriage based on an agreement to live together for a certain period of time and compensation to certain parties. The desire to fulfill biological needs is one of the objectives of implementing contract marriage. This study uses a normative legal method which is the main reference for the regulations in force in Indonesia. The results of the study explain that contract marriage has no legal force. The legal consequences that arise are that a wife cannot obtain the general rights of a legal wife, and children born from contract marriage do not have a civil relationship with their father.

Abstract

PISA 2022 data shows that Indonesian students’ critical thinking skills and scientific literacy are still low. This situation is worsened by science learning having not integrated the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) approach. This community service program held by the UNS SESD RG aims to empower science teachers at the MGMP (Subject Teachers’ Working Group) for Science in Surakarta City in developing ESD-based learning instruments. The methods used include needs analysis, workshops, assignments, and evaluation. Problems encountered by teachers include poor awareness of ESD, limited publications of research result, and no implementation of project-based learning. Solutions provided include training, mentoring, and the use of educational technology. The results of activity indicate an increase in teacher capacity in developing contextual and innovative ESD-based learning instrument. This program also supports the achievement of SDGs, particularly in aspects of quality education and climate action.
