Abstract

Community service activities, namely environmental hygiene counseling aim to raise environmental awareness of elementary school students and provide information about waste management, to reduce environmental pollution by waste, especially plastic waste. This activity consisted of three stages, namely (1) material presentation, (2) ice breaking activities, and (3) poster submission. This activity was held on December 21, 2022 and is located at SD Inpres Bontomanai. The environment is a place where humans and other living things live that need to be kept clean and sustainable. Therefore extension activities are carried out to raise awareness to maintain environmental cleanliness from an early age.

Abstract

The large number of rice fields in Borikamase Village, resulting in high production of hay, requires an appropriate effort to use straw into organic fertilizer or bokashi which is environmentally friendly as well as safe for plants. The use of straw into bokashi or organic fertilizer needs to be taught to the farming community, so the community service team focuses on providing assistance and training to the community in utilizing straw as a raw material in making bokashi by using microorganisms as the source of fermentation. In addition, the high price of synthetic fertilizers on the market makes farmers in Borikamase Village feel heavy in providing nutritional supplies to their agricultural areas, so that this training is expected to help farmers by obtaining fertilizers that are cheap, safe, and of good quality to fertilize. The existence of biotechnology applications, provides the right solution in overcoming the damage to bald mountains and the scarcity and high price of synthetic fertilizers, namely by processing straw into bokashi or organic fertilizers with high nutrient content and are safe for the environment. In addition, providing knowledge and skills for farming communities as agents of reform in restoring ecosystem balance through the application of bokashi made of straw on rice fields. Abstract

One of the roles of leaders to improve employee performance is to optimize their role in supervising. This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and organizational culture on the effectiveness of middle manager supervision at Hasanuddin University Teaching Hospital. This study involved 219 employees from 24 installations in the Hasanuddin University Teaching Hospital. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression using the SPSS application. The results showed that competence (p value = 0.000 < 0.05) and organizational culture (p value = 0.000 < 0.05) influence on the implementation of middle manager supervision at Unhas Teaching Hospital. In conclusion, the competence of middle managers and organizational culture contribute to the implementation of effective supervision.

Abstract

Generasi muda saat ini menunjukkan minat yang signifikan terhadap seni kaligrafi sebagai bentuk ekspresi kreatif dan juga sarana spiritual yang mendalam. Kaligrafi Islam adalah salah satu warisan budaya yang penting bagi umat Islam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menyelidiki dampak pelatihan keterampilan kaligrafi terhadap kreativitas generasi muda Islam di TPA. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini yaitu metode ceramah dan pelatihan (workshop). Kegiatan metode ceramah dilakukan dengan pemberian motivasi dan materi, sedangkan metode pelatihan dilakukan dengan praktik secara langsung dan terbimbing. Workshop kaligrafi ini dilaksanakan selama empat pertemuan dan diikuti oleh santriwan dan santriwati TPA Al-Mukhayyah. Sebanyak 20 santri TPA dari berbagai usia dan latar belakang dilibatkan dalam pelatihan. Adapun materi pelatihan berkaitan dengan kaidah dan sejarah kaligrafi, pengenalan alat dan bahan, macam-macam jenis dan cabang kaligrafi, keindahan dan teknik warna, serta materi pendukung lainnya. Kreativitas sebelum dan setelah pelatihan dilihat berdasarkan hasil praktik penulisan kaligrafi yang dilakukan oleh santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam tingkat kreativitas santri setelah mengikuti pelatihan keterampilan kaligrafi. Hal ini terlihat dari gerak atau postur santri dalam memegang alat tulis (pensil kaligrafi), sudut penulisan (cara memposisikan kertas), serta hasil penulisan kaligrafi dari hari pertama hingga hari terakhir.

Abstract

 Background: Dental health is one part of child growth and development that needs to be considered. Mazedent Based on AR (Augmented Reality) is a game application that displays 3D objects and voice overs about dental and oral health which is useful as a learning and educational media to provide information for children with mild intellectual disability. This game application was created as a learning media for dental and oral health. Method: The type of research used was pre-experimental with a pre-test and post-test group design. A questionnaire was created to measure the knowledge of children with mild intellectual disability at SLB Negeri 1 Makassar and SLB Arnadya regarding dental and oral health before and after using Mazedent Media Based on AR (Augmented Reality). Results: Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average interpretation of 3 questions could be answered yes by the subjects before being given learning and after being given learning the ability to answer yes the subjects were an average of 12 questions, this showed an increase in the subjects. Conclusion: The results of the Wilcoxon test have a p value of 0.000 < (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is an influence of AR (Augmented Reality)-based Mazedent Media as a learning medium for dental and oral health for children with mild intellectual disability at SLB Negeri 1 Makassar and SLB Arnadya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitiian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Metode Eksperimen Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas V SD Inpres Maroanging Gowa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pre eksperimen dengan desain penelitian menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain ini melakukan dua kali pengukuran, pertama (pretest) dan pengukuran kedua (posttest). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD Inpres Maroanging Gowa, sebanyak 28 siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil pretest siswa adalah 51,07 dengan kategori rendah, selanjutnya diterapkan metode eksperimen pada proses pembelajaran maka hasil posttest siswa mencapai nilai rata-rata sebesar 76,25 dengan kategori sedang. Analisis N-Gain menunjukkan rata-rata gain ternormalisasi 0,54 berada pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis menggunakan paired samples test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V SD Inpres Maroanging Gowa pada materi perpindahan kalor.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of using the Team Games Tournament learning model combined with Wordwall media on student motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative type of quasi-experimental research. This research design uses a Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all students in class XI MIPA at SMAN 10 Makassar, consisting of 8 classes with 254 students. The sampling technique is random sampling, namely random sampling where all classes have the same possibility of being sampled. Class XI MIPA II as an experimental class had 22 students and class XI MIPA VI as a control class had 22 students. The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis in the form of normality, homogeneity and independent hypothesis testing t - tests. The results of this study show that there is a difference in the questionnaire scores in the experimental class, which is in the high category with an average of 91 and in the control class, it is in the sufficient category with an average of 58 and the learning outcomes scores of experimental class students are with an average of 85.55 and The average in the control class is 77.55, where the learning outcomes of experimental class students are higher than those in the control class. It can be seen by looking at the results of the hypothesis test which shows a sig value < ɑ with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means the hypothesis is accepted. Based on the results of data analysis, there are two main conclusions. First, the combination of the Team Games Tournament learning model with Wordwall media significantly increases students' learning motivation on endocrine system material. Second, this combination also has a positive and significant impact on student learning outcomes. A significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) indicates that this model is effective in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja dan Beban Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Tenaga Medis Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara TK III Ambon. Penelitian ini termasuk pada penelitian kuantitatif sebab pendekatan yang digunakan untuk usulan penelitian, proses, hipotesis, turun ke lapangan, analisis data, kesimpulan data sampai dengan penulisannya menggunakan aspek pengukuran, perhitungan, rumus dan kepastian data numerik. Subyek penelitian adalah Tenaga Medis Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara TK III Ambon. Pada penelitian ini sampelnya adalah Tenaga Medis Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara TK III Ambon yang berjumlah 66 orang. Data diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Lingkungan Kerja menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga medis Rumah Sakit TK-III Bhayangkara Ambon dan variabel Beban Kerja menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga medis Rumah Sakit TK-III Bhayangkara Ambon

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Projek Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar biologi mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Jenis Penelitian adalah Pre-ekperimen dengan One Grou Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan biologi semester II Universitas Muhammadiyan Makassar yang terdiri dari 23 mahasiswa dengan total sampling sama dengan jumlah populasi . Hasil penelitan dengan menggunakan uji Paired Sample Test diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari nilai signifikansi (α) 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Projek Based Learning terhadap mahasiswa belajar biologi mahasiswa

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this study is to determine the effectiveness of learning the concept of Animal Diversity through the application of the think talk write (TTW) cooperative learning model assisted by mind mapping media for biology education students. This type of research is research that is Pre-Experimental Design. The research design used in this study is the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets of learning activities; Observation sheets containing indicators of learning activities are used to assess student learning activities at each meeting, and test questions of learning outcomes; The learning outcomes test is in the form of 30 multiple choice questions with 5 answer choices. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of the TTW type cooperative learning model assisted by mind mapping media is effectively applied in biology learning the concept of Animal Diversity in class A students of the 2017 Biology Education FKIP Unismuh Makassar.
