Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterized by high blood sugar levels. Basically, this happens because the body lacks the hormone insulin produced by the pancreas gland. It is therefore important to achieve and maintain metabolic control to prevent an increased risk of microvascular and macrovascular complications and lack of glycemic control. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of diabetes exercise therapy and lifestyle on blood sugar levels. Pre-experimental research design which is a research design that tests interventions in groups without involving control variables. The research design uses one postest postest design. The sample of the study were 40 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Test analysis using paired t test. The results showed that there was an influence of diabetes exercises and lifestyle (diet and activity) on blood sugar levels with a value of p (0,000). The conclusion that diabetic exercise and changing a healthy lifestyle can significantly control blood sugar levels.

Abstract

Komo mackerel fish in Fakfak Regency is abundantly available and the price is also the cheapest among other fish. So far, there has been more education on nutmeg processing compared to fish processing. Bhinneka Henggi Mas Cooperative is a cooperative engaged in marketing that sells typical Fakfak gift hands where the products sold come from Cooperative Assisted Women. However, the cooperative-assisted mother's group still lacks creativity in fish processing due to low levels of education and knowledge. Therefore, the Community Service Team provided a solution in the form of training in making Komo mackerel jerky snacks for mothers assisted by the Henggi Mas Cooperative. This community service program provides benefits for Henggi Mas Cooperative Assisted Mothers in improving soft skills and science and technology. It can also be used as additional income because this product can be of high economic value. In general, the implementation of this service program includes three stages, theory presentation, practical assistance, and training evaluation. The mackerel jerky snack formula contains fresh komo mackerel, flour, spices, and water. After receiving training, the women the Henggi Mas Cooperative assisted have the knowledge and skills to process komo mackerel fish into jerky snack products.  Keywords: Fish Jerky, Komo Mackerel Fish, Snack, Training

Abstract

The study aims to conduct an analysis of Banggai women position in the myth and reality. The social role theory was applied. A chronological approach was taken by describing events unfolding slowly following the process of time to examine the position of Banggai women in myth and reality. The method applied was qualitative with narrative, using a chronological approach across the time. The data were collected through documentation, FGD, observations and in-depth interviews. The result found that there were significant differences between Banggai women in myth and reality. In myth, Banggai women are placed in a decisive position in the family and in society, while in reality, they are in a subordinate position, comparing to men, both in the family and in society. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that women's social roles were influenced by various things. Abstract

Introduction: The agribusiness system is a series of sustainable business management from upstream to downstream. Cassava farming is one of the strategic food crops that supports the national economy. Increasing cassava commodities cannot be separated from implementing an effective and efficient agribusiness system. The research aims to examine the sustainable cassava commodity agribusiness system in East Lampung Regency. Methods: The total population of cassava farmers in East Lampung Regency is 478 farmers. The sampling technique refers to the Sugiarto formula so 48 cassava farmers were obtained using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis is 1) procurement of production facilities using a Likert scale, 2) farming using income analysis, 3) processing using added value, 4) marketing using marketing channels, marketing margins, and Farmer Share, and 5) Supporting institutional services. Results: Research results 1) Procurement of production facilities are in the category of being used. 2) cassava farming is profitable 3) processing cassava into tiwul products provides added value. 4) marketing of fresh and processed cassava is included in efficient marketing, and 5) supporting institutions have not contributed to cassava commodities. Conclusion: The cassava commodity agribusiness system has been established but the supporting services are not yet running well, so it is necessary to develop integrated agribusiness institutions.

Abstract

Kabupaten Fakfak merupakan salah satu penghasil komoditas pala di Indonesia. Jenis pala di Kabupaten Fakfak yaitu Myristica argentea Warb yang disebut juga dengan pala Papua. Petani pala hanya mengambil biji dan fuli karena bernilai ekonomi yang tinggi, sedangkan daging buahnya hanya dibuang. Padahal  daging buah pala memiliki komponen terbesar dari buah pala segar. Pemanfaatan daging buah pala secara optimal dapat diolah menjadi selai. Pembuatan daging buah pala menjadi selai membutuhkan bahan pengisi seperti carboxymethyl cellulose. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan carboxymethyl cellulose terhadap karakteristik sensori selai daging buah pala. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu tingkat konsentrasi CMC yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 0%, 0,5%, 0,75%, dan 1%. Karakteristik sensori diperoleh dari uji organoleptik dengan parameter aroma, warna, rasa, dan tekstur. Skor organoleptik yaitu 1(sangat tidak suka)-7(sangat suka). Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan ANOVA (Analysis Of Variance) dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT (Duncans Multiple Range Test) menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selai daging buah pala dengan penambahan CMC 0,5% memberikan pengaruh nyata (p<0,05) terhadap tekstur selai daging buah pala dan tidak berpengaruh nyata  (p> 0,05) terhadap warna, aroma dan rasa.

Abstract

Fakfak Regency is one of the areas in West Papua province which has quite abundant natural vegetable resources, one of which is red spinach. Red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) is a vegetable that has a bitter taste so it is not liked by the public. Red spinach can be processed into snacks so that it is consumed more often by all groups. Red spinach vegetable snacks are made in the form of chips. This research aims to explain the effect of adding coating ingredients (mocaf, rice flour, and CMC) on the level of preference for red spinach chips. The research method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor (mocaf concentration: rice flour: CMC) and 4 treatments consisting of P0 (50%: 0%: 0%); P1 (45%:5%:0.4%); P2 (40%:10%:0.8%); and P3 (35%:15%:1.2%). The data collection technique used an organoleptic test with a scale of 1 (very dislike) - 7 (very like) with 70 untrained panelists using color, aroma, taste and texture parameters. The data analysis technique used Chi-Square Tests and continued with the Duncans Multiple Range Test (DMRT) with a significance level of 95%. Determination of the best formula for red spinach chips processed using the De Garmo method in the form of an effectiveness index with a weighting procedure. The results of this study show that the addition of coating ingredients (mocaf, rice flour, and CMC) on the level of preference for red spinach chips has no significant effect on the parameters of color, aroma, taste and has a significant effect on texture parameters. The best formula for red spinach chips is P3 treatment (35% mocaf: 15% rice flour: 1.2% CMC) with color preference values of 5.57 (almost like); aroma of 5.81 (almost like); taste of 6.21 (almost really like); and texture of 6.55 (almost really like)

Abstract

Konsep manajemen pengorganisasian dalam pendidikan Islam memiliki signifikansi fundamental dalam mengembangkan sistem pendidikan yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi konsep manajemen pengorganisasian pendidikan Islam melalui analisis komprehensif hadis-hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode library research (penelitian kepustakaan) dan content analysis. Sumber data primer adalah kitab-kitab hadis standar seperti Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, dan kitab hadis mu'tabar lainnya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penelusuran, klasifikasi, dan analisis hadis-hadis yang berkaitan dengan manajemen pengorganisasian pendidikan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hadis-hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW mengandung prinsip-prinsip manajemen pengorganisasian yang komprehensif, meliputi aspek kepemimpinan, pembagian tugas, koordinasi, dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa konsep manajemen dalam hadis menekankan profesionalisme, transparansi, musyawarah, dan pengembangan potensi individual dalam kerangka organisasi pendidikan Islam.Kontribusi penelitian ini memberikan perspektif baru dalam memahami konsep manajemen pendidikan Islam berdasarkan sumber normatif hadis, sekaligus menawarkan model pengorganisasian yang berbasis pada nilai-nilai profetik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya khazanah keilmuan manajemen pendidikan Islam dan memberikan landasan konseptual bagi praktisi pendidikan dalam mengembangkan sistem manajemen yang efektif dan berkarakter.

Abstract

Functional tea bags containing mace and nutmeg (Myristica argentea Warb.) were developed to support blood glucose regulation amid the rising prevalence of degenerative diseases, including diabetes mellitus, in Indonesia. Both ingredients contain bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, myristicin, and phenolic acids that may contribute to glucose regulation. This study evaluated the effect of varying mace and nutmeg proportions on sensory acceptance, determined the optimal formulation, and assessed bioactive properties, antioxidant activity, and alpha glucosidase inhibitory potential. A one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was applied with four formulations: F1 (0.05 g : 0.25 g), F2 (0.10 g : 0.20 g), F3 (0.15 g : 0.15 g), and F4 (0.20 g : 0.10 g). Sensory evaluation used a seven-point hedonic scale for color, aroma, taste, and aftertaste, analyzed by chi-square and Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) if a 5% significance level. The optimal formulation was determined using the De Garmo method. Results showed that varying proportions significantly affected all sensory parameters. F2 (0.10 g : 0.20 g) achieved the highest scores: color 5.98, aroma 6.51, taste 6.40, and aftertaste 6.00. Its bioactive profile included total phenolics of 20.91 mg GAE/g, total flavonoids of 0.3 mg QE/g, and antioxidant activity with an IC50 of 448.78 ppm (weak). F2 also showed increasing alpha-glucosidase inhibition with rising concentrations, reaching 31.56 % at 100,000 ppm. These findings indicate that F2 exhibits low alpha glucosidase inhibitory activity due to its limited phenolic and flavonoid content, highlighting the need for formulation and extraction optimization to enhance the bioactive compound levels and the functional potential of mace–nutmeg tea bags in a herbal jamu preparation.
