Abstract

Waruga is a distinctive cultural artifact found exclusively in the Minahasa region. Despite its historical and cultural significance, efforts to preserve Waruga remain inadequate. Many structures have been left neglected, covered in fungi, or even damaged over time. Additionally, government-led relocation initiatives have contributed to the loss of their original form, further threatening this invaluable Minahasa cultural heritage. This study aims to examine the impact of photographic orientation in the creation of 3D models using close-range photogrammetry techniques. The resulting 3D models will be displayed on a digital platform to support the preservation and promotion of Minahasa culture. The photography process was divided into two categories: point-of-view shots and high-angle shots. Findings indicate that the optimal angle for point-of-view shots is 15 degrees downward, while for high-angle shots, it is 30 degrees downward. Furthermore, comparative analysis of Waruga structures with varying shapes demonstrates that portrait orientation yields 3D models that more accurately resemble the original objects compared to landscape orientation when using the same number of images. The study concludes that portrait orientation is the most effective approach for 3D reconstruction of Waruga, offering advantages such as faster processing times and reduced file sizes. In contrast, landscape orientation presents challenges, including difficulties in capturing intricate details, increased processing time, and larger file sizes. These findings provide valuable insights into optimizing digital preservation techniques for Waruga and other cultural heritage artifacts.

Abstract

Abstract

MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis) method is one of the multi-criteria analysis techniques used for alternative selection based on several different criteria or objectives. In the context of selecting the best cashier, by using the MOORA method to select cashiers based on several relevant criteria. While Pivot Pairwise Relative Criteria Importance Assessment (PIPRECIA) is a method used to assess the importance of criteria relative to each other in the context of multi-criteria analysis. This method helps in determining the weight of criteria used in multi-criteria decision making. The combination of MOORA and PIPRECIA will produce the best cashier selection based on the criteria used. The results of the best cashier assessment ranking using the Multi-Objective Optimization method on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) and the Simplified Pivot Pairwise Relative Criteria Importance Assessment weighting method obtained results, namely for Rank 1 obtained by Rini Maya with a final value of 0.343.

Abstract

The user interface (UI) design of software in the early stages of development is crucial to ensure the future success of the product and is key to creating an effective user experience (UX). This study aims to produce a UI design for software, namely an e-repository, and conduct a usability evaluation based on user satisfaction with the UX of the design. The resulting e-repository design is a prototype, where the research process implemented the design thinking method consisting of five main phases: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The evaluation is conducted in the test phase, where the evaluation uses the usability testing method by assigning a number of task scenarios, totaling 8 tasks, to respondents. Furthermore, to measure user satisfaction levels, a questionnaire based on the System Usability Scale (SUS) is used, consisting of 10 statements with both positive and negative orientations. The research results indicate that the UI design has addressed the issues and met the needs of users. Meanwhile, the analysis results from the usability evaluation show that the Adjective Ratings are categorized as Good. Additionally, in terms of Acceptability Ranges, the prototype is deemed Acceptable by users, with a Grade Scale obtained being B, where the evaluation results indicate that the scores obtained are above the average SUS score standard.

Abstract

Determining the location for a new café involves careful and strategic considerations to ensure the success of the business. Geographical aspects such as local population, demographics, and level of competition in the area are the main factors considered. The combination of careful analysis of geographical factors, markets, as well as branding and business concepts, will help in determining the optimal location to open a successful new café. This study aims to provide recommendations for new café locations by applying a decision support system model, namely the reciprocal rank method to determine the weight of criteria and MABAC to assess the location of new cafes so that it will produce ranking recommendations for new locations. The application of reciprocal rank and MABAC methods in determining the location of new businesses gets the final results and provides recommendations for rank 1 with a final value of 0.4792 obtained by Location A, rank 2 with a final value of 0.2552 obtained by Location T, and rank 3 with a final value of 0.1512 obtained by Location D.

Abstract

Barista acceptance selection is a crucial stage in building a quality team in the coffee industry. This process not only looks for individuals with technical skills in processing coffee, but also emphasizes other aspects such as communication skills, customer service, and appearance. The combination of MOORA and PIPRECIA methods can be used to optimize several goals at once by considering the ratio between positive and negative solutions in determining the best alternative based on several criteria. This study aims to select barista acceptance by applying a combination of MOORA and PIPRECIA methods based on the criteria used, namely ability, knowledge, experience, communication, and appearance. So that the results of the combination of MOORA and PIRRECIA methods will be a recommendation for management in selecting barista acceptance. The ranking results for rank 1 with the final value of MOORA optimization of 0.428 were obtained by Yanto, rank 2 with the final value of MOORA optimization of 0.423 was obtained by Ridho, and rank 3 with the final value of MOORA optimization of 0.414 was obtained by Antoni. The benefit of this study will be a recommendation for coffee shop owners in conducting barista selection using a decision support system model. Future research may add other criteria such as barista education and training.
