Abstract

Keberhasilan kegiatan penangkapan ikan dengan metode pancing sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan ukuran dan jenis kail yang sesuai. Setiap spesies ikan memiliki karakteristik biologis yang berbeda, seperti berat tubuh dan ukuran mulut, yang harus dipertimbangkan dalam pemilihan kail agar aktivitas penangkapan menjadi lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pengambilan keputusan yang sistematis dalam pemilihan ukuran kail optimal untuk berbagai spesies ikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kombinasi Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk menentukan bobot kriteria dan Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) untuk merangking alternatif ukuran kail berdasarkan kriteria tersebut. Empat kriteria utama yang dipertimbangkan meliputi kesesuaian ukuran mulut ikan, kapasitas berat maksimum kail, kekuatan bahan kail, dan ketersediaan kail di pasaran. Proses SAW dilakukan secara spesifik untuk setiap spesies ikan, dengan mempertimbangkan karakteristik biologis masing-masing ikan sebagai tahap penyaringan awal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran kail optimal sangat bervariasi tergantung pada spesies ikan target. Ikan berukuran besar seperti Tuna dan Marlin direkomendasikan menggunakan ukuran kail besar (9/0, 8/0), sementara ikan kecil seperti Roa dan Baronang lebih sesuai dengan ukuran kail kecil. Model AHP-SAW yang dibangun terbukti efektif dalam memberikan rekomendasi ukuran kail yang lebih objektif, sistematis, dan aplikatif. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan keberlanjutan praktik penangkapan ikan di lapangan. Ke depan, validasi lapangan bersama komunitas nelayan direncanakan untuk menguji efektivitas model ini di praktik penangkapan nyata. Selain itu, pengembangan sistem rekomendasi otomatis berbasis aplikasi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan penerapan model ini secara praktis di kalangan pelaku perikanan.

Abstract

This study proposes a decision support system to select a handheld gaming PC by integrating the MEREC weighting method with the MARCOS ranking method. Sixteen devices were evaluated using Tokopedia price data and technical specifications across nine criteria: price, SSD capacity, RAM capacity, battery capacity, device weight, screen size, refresh rate, total screen pixels, and a display-type score (OLED=3, IPS=2, LCD=1). MEREC indicates SSD capacity is the most influential criterion (wC2=0.2085), followed by total pixels (wC8=0.1497) and display score (wC9=0.1389). MARCOS ranks MSI CLAW 8 first with Si=0.7652 and f(Ki)=0.6776, followed by ROG Xbox Ally X Premium and ASUS ROG Ally X (both Si=0.7535; f(Ki)=0.6672). The results show that storage and display attributes dominate recommendations for the observed dataset, and the framework provides an explainable, data-driven ranking that can be updated when market prices change.

Abstract

English is the primary foreign language that plays a crucial role in various aspects of life, particularly in accessing global information, mastering, and developing knowledge across multiple fields, including technology, arts, and culture. But not only that, English is also included as one of the subjects in the world of education in Indonesia. Furthermore, English proficiency significantly contributes to establishing and strengthening relationships with different nations worldwide, whether in academic, professional, or social contexts.With the rapid advancement of technology and the declining motivation of students in learning, it is increasingly important to implement more innovative and modern learning approaches. One such approach is edutainment, which integrates educational content with entertainment elements to enhance student engagement and create a more effective learning experience. Additionally, competition-based methods can serve as an alternative reference in the development of edutainment to further stimulate students' interest in learning. This study focuses on developing competition or battle-themed edutainment as a medium for introducing verbs in English, along with their past tense (V2) and past participle (V3) forms. Battle-based edutainment has proven to be an effective learning tool. Based on tests conducted on 30 target users, their satisfaction levels were measured using the SUS Score, which resulted in an average score of 89.25, classified within the A scale, indicating an above-average satisfaction level.

Abstract

Perkembangan platform online travel agent telah mengubah cara wisatawan mencari, membandingkan, dan memilih tempat menginap. Informasi digital seperti harga, rating, jumlah ulasan, fasilitas yang terlihat, dan urutan popularitas membantu wisatawan menilai berbagai alternatif, tetapi banyaknya informasi juga dapat menyulitkan proses pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun model Sistem Pendukung Keputusan pemilihan tempat menginap di Kota Tomohon menggunakan metode Entropy-TOPSIS berbasis data online travel agent. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan data sekunder yang dikumpulkan pada 1 Mei 2026. Sebanyak 12 alternatif penginapan dianalisis berdasarkan lima kriteria, yaitu harga, rating, jumlah ulasan, fasilitas terlihat, dan urutan popularitas. Metode Entropy digunakan untuk menentukan bobot kriteria secara objektif berdasarkan variasi data, sedangkan TOPSIS digunakan untuk menentukan peringkat alternatif berdasarkan kedekatan terhadap solusi ideal positif dan jarak terhadap solusi ideal negatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah ulasan memiliki bobot tertinggi sebesar 0,3602, diikuti fasilitas terlihat sebesar 0,3362, urutan popularitas sebesar 0,1670, harga sebesar 0,1332, dan rating sebesar 0,0034. Hasil TOPSIS menunjukkan bahwa Jhoanie Hotel memperoleh nilai preferensi tertinggi sebesar 0,7502, diikuti Grand Master Villa Tomohon sebesar 0,4799 dan Hotel Villa Emitta sebesar 0,4078. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan tempat menginap perlu mempertimbangkan beberapa kriteria secara bersamaan, bukan hanya harga atau rating, sehingga rekomendasi yang dihasilkan lebih objektif.

Abstract

This study develops a Two-Stage Entropy-TOPSIS model for hotel and ecotourism destination selection in Bitung, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The model reflects a realistic tourist decision process, where tourists first select a hotel from the airport and then choose ecotourism destinations from the selected hotel as the starting point. Data were collected from Google Maps, including rating, number of reviews, distance, travel time, hotel facility score, and ecotourism suitability score. In the first stage, eight hotel alternatives were evaluated based on Google Maps rating, number of reviews, distance from Sam Ratulangi Airport, travel time from the airport, and facility score. The Entropy method was used to determine objective criteria weights, while TOPSIS was applied to rank alternatives. The results showed that favehotel Bitung ranked first with a preference value of 0.9999 and was selected as the origin point for the second stage. In the second stage, ecotourism destinations were evaluated using the selected hotel as the starting point. The main calculation included destinations with complete road-based accessibility data. The results showed that Kebun Binatang Tandurusa ranked first with a preference value of 0.9989, followed by Batuangus Beach, Pantai Tanjung Merah, and Pantai Lilang. These findings indicate that the proposed model can provide structured, sequential, and data-driven recommendations for tourism decision-making based on Google Maps data

Abstract

Cuaca merupakan faktor penting yang memengaruhi aktivitas masyarakat, terutama bagi nelayan tradisional dan pemancing di wilayah pesisir Kota Manado. Ketersediaan informasi prakiraan cuaca yang akurat, mudah dipahami, dan relevan hingga tingkat kelurahan diperlukan untuk mendukung keselamatan, efisiensi, serta perencanaan aktivitas harian. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi web prediksi cuaca berbasis API BMKG dengan fitur pemilahan wilayah pesisir dan non-pesisir pada studi kasus Kota Manado. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan rekayasa perangkat lunak berbasis integrasi data terbuka, yang meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna, perancangan arsitektur sistem, pengelompokan wilayah berdasarkan kode ADM4, implementasi aplikasi web, serta pengujian fungsional dan usability sederhana. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan Flask berbasis Python sebagai server, serta HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript sebagai antarmuka pengguna. Data prakiraan cuaca diperoleh dari API publik BMKG dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk visual berdasarkan interval waktu tiga jam. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu mengambil data secara real-time, menampilkan informasi cuaca secara konsisten sesuai data JSON, serta memberikan waktu respons yang cepat. Uji coba pada pengguna menunjukkan bahwa antarmuka aplikasi mudah dipahami, termasuk oleh nelayan tradisional. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemanfaatan open data BMKG untuk penyajian prakiraan cuaca lokal yang lebih kontekstual, khususnya melalui pemilahan wilayah pesisir dan non-pesisir. Abstract

Capture fisheries are an important economic sector for coastal communities in the Manado region. One of the key factors influencing fishing success is the selection of appropriate bait. Choosing the correct bait can significantly improve catch efficiency, while incorrect bait selection may reduce fishing effectiveness. In practice, bait selection among local fishermen still relies heavily on traditional knowledge passed down orally or gained through personal experience, which is not always easily accessible to novice fishermen. This study aims to develop a Rule-Based Expert System that provides bait selection recommendations to support fishing activities around Manado. The system was designed by incorporating practical knowledge from experienced fishermen obtained through semi-structured interviews and field observations. The parameters used in the system include target fish species, water depth, sea current strength, and season. The Rule base was constructed based on various combinations of these parameters and implemented as a web-based application using PHP programming language. Testing results show that the system achieves a 90% accuracy rate in providing recommendations based on validation conducted with local fishermen. Further evaluation indicates that the system is considered easy to use and beneficial as a decision-support tool for bait selection, particularly for novice fishermen. Additionally, the fishermen provided positive feedback for future system enhancements, suggesting the inclusion of additional contextual factors such as weather conditions and lunar phases. In conclusion, the developed Rule-Based Expert System has significant potential to support more efficient and sustainable fishing practices in the waters around Manado and facilitate knowledge transfer to the next generation of fishermen.Perikanan tangkap merupakan sektor ekonomi yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat pesisir di wilayah Manado. Salah satu faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi hasil tangkapan ikan adalah pemilihan umpan yang tepat. Umpan yang sesuai dapat meningkatkan peluang keberhasilan penangkapan, sementara pemilihan umpan yang kurang sesuai dapat menyebabkan penurunan efisiensi usaha penangkapan. Dalam praktiknya, pemilihan umpan oleh nelayan di wilayah ini masih sangat bergantung pada pengetahuan tradisional yang diperoleh melalui pengalaman pribadi atau diwariskan secara lisan, sehingga tidak selalu mudah diakses oleh nelayan pemula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah Rule-Based Expert System yang dapat memberikan rekomendasi pemilihan umpan untuk mendukung kegiatan perikanan tangkap di perairan sekitar Manado. Sistem dirancang dengan mengadopsi pengetahuan praktis dari nelayan berpengalaman, yang diperoleh melalui proses wawancara semi-terstruktur dan observasi lapangan. Parameter yang digunakan dalam sistem meliputi spesies ikan target, kedalaman perairan, arus laut, dan musim. Rule base disusun berdasarkan kombinasi keempat parameter tersebut, kemudian diimplementasikan dalam sebuah aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memberikan tingkat kesesuaian rekomendasi sebesar 90%, berdasarkan validasi yang dilakukan bersama nelayan di wilayah Manado. Evaluasi lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dinilai mudah digunakan, serta bermanfaat sebagai alat bantu dalam proses pengambilan keputusan terkait pemilihan umpan, terutama bagi nelayan pemula. Selain itu, nelayan memberikan masukan positif terkait pengembangan sistem ke depan, termasuk penambahan faktor-faktor lain seperti kondisi cuaca dan fase bulan. Dengan demikian, Rule-Based Expert System yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini memiliki potensi besar untuk mendukung perikanan tangkap yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan di perairan sekitar Manado, serta membantu proses transfer pengetahuan kepada generasi nelayan baru

Abstract

This study develops a decision support system to recommend microcontroller and IoT learning devices for schools, universities, and training centers under realistic budget constraints while considering both technical capability and educational suitability. The alternatives are grouped into three budget tiers and evaluated using nine criteria covering price, CPU frequency, Flash, RAM/PSRAM, connectivity, usable GPIO, ease of learning, learning resources/community, and local availability/warranty. Objective criterion weights are computed using the Entropy method, and tier-wise rankings are produced using Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) through utility scores relative to an ideal alternative. Indicative local price and availability information are compiled from Tokopedia, while qualitative criteria are scored using consistent rubrics to support reproducibility. The results identify ESP32-CAM + baseboard as the top recommendation in Tier 1, LILYGO T-Display S3 in Tier 2, and M5StickC Plus2 in Tier 3; across tiers, Entropy assigns the largest weights to the most discriminative criteria, particularly RAM/PSRAM and, in higher tiers, Flash. The study is limited by market price volatility, approximations in usable GPIO values, and rubric-based qualitative scoring, and it also reflects the tendency of Entropy to concentrate weights on highly dispersed criteria, potentially amplifying outlier advantages. Overall, the proposed tier-aware Entropy–ARAS framework provides a transparent and actionable approach for educational institutions to justify device procurement and usage decisions based on budget, functionality, and learning readiness.

Abstract

This study proposes a decision-support approach for selecting prepaid mobile data packages in Ambon City that balances price, main quota, and validity period. Twelve packages from Telkomsel, XL, Indosat IM3, and Tri were evaluated using four criteria: price, main quota, validity, and price per main gigabyte. TOPSIS was used for ranking, and Entropy and CRITIC were compared as objective weighting methods to examine the effect of weighting choice. Entropy emphasized the main quota, producing a quota-focused evaluation. CRITIC gave greater weight to price and price efficiency, accounting for data variation and criterion correlations. Both methods selected Tri Happy 70GB as the best option. The overall rankings were highly consistent, with a Spearman rank correlation of 0.8741, although some alternatives changed positions within the top group. The analysis is limited to a single time snapshot based on published package attributes and excludes measured network performance in Ambon City. In practice, the framework is transparent, replicable, and can be extended with constraints such as maximum budget and minimum validity requirements. The study contributes a controlled comparison of Entropy and CRITIC effects while keeping TOPSIS constant.

Abstract

This study examines the need for interactive multimedia-based learning to help young children, especially in preschool education, recognize animals and plants through information technology. Traditionally, teaching methods have relied on blackboards, books, and environmental exposure, with some educators incorporating interactive videos from platforms like YouTube. However, with rapid technological advancements, computer-based learning using interactive multimedia presents a more engaging alternative. Interactive multimedia integrates visual programming, sound, text, and images, creating a more dynamic and comfortable learning experience. Its implementation in education is expected to boost children’s enthusiasm and comprehension by making lessons more visually appealing and easier to understand. The research aimed to develop an application that enhances learning through multimedia technology and assess its effectiveness in addressing educational challenges. To evaluate the application's impact, scenario-based tasks were assigned to respondents, followed by a System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to measure user satisfaction. The results showed an average SUS score of 91.92, placing it in the "A" Grade Scale and the "Acceptable" category according to Adjective Ratings. These findings indicate that the application meets user expectations and effectively supports early childhood learning. Overall, the study confirms that multimedia-based learning can significantly enhance engagement and understanding in young learners. By leveraging technology, educators can create more effective and enjoyable learning experiences, fostering greater interest in educational content. The positive usability results highlight the potential of interactive multimedia in modernizing early childhood education, making learning more accessible and stimulating for students.
