Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of academic self-efficacy on student engagement among students at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Makassar. The respondents in this research were 408 active students from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Makassar who were programming or taking lectures offline. The instruments used in this research were the academic self-efficacy scale and the student engagement scale. The data in this study were analyzed using simple regression analysis techniques. The results of data analysis found that there was a positive influence of Academic Self-Efficacy on Student Engagement among Students at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Makassar. This indicates that the higher the academic self-efficacy, the higher the student engagement among students. Conversely, the lower the academic self-efficacy, the lower the student involvement in students. The implication of this research is that it can contribute to the development of knowledge related to academic self-efficacy and student engagement and can be used as a guide in increasing academic self-efficacy and student engagement.

Abstract

Prokrastinasi akademik memiliki dampak buruk, salah satunya adalah tugas menjadi terbengkalai bahkan berakibat pada emosional individu. Prokrastinasi akademik muncul ketika siswa mengalami fear of failure. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara fear of failure dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan 217 responden siswa SMK Negeri 3 Bone. Hasil analisis korelasi menggunakan Spearman’s rho menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (sig < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara fear of failure dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa. Nilai koefisien korelasi (p = 0,245) menunjukkan bahwa hubungan tersebut bersifat positif, namun dengan tingkat korelasi yang rendah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat memberi kontribusi pada perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan memberikan informasi terkait masalah fear of failure dan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa, sehingga permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi.

Abstract

Abstrak. Spiritual teaching yaitu mengajar dan membimbing peserta didik dengan menanamkan nilai atau semangat spiritual yang diintegrasikan pada setiap mata pelajaran dalam konsep pengembangan intelektual, emosional dan spiritual. Kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan peningkatan keterampilan spiritual teaching pada guru MAN 2 Polman. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui pelatihan atau workshop dengan memberikan materi, melakukan tanya jawab, diskusi, penugasan, dan praktek kepada peserta. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Polman dan diikuti oleh 30 guru MAN 2 Polman dan hasil pelatihan ini terbukti meningkatkan keterampilan spiritual teaching guru dan guru menunjukkan antusiasme dan respon positif selama mengikuti program pelatihan.

Abstract

Abstrak – Kebersyukuran mengarah pada kehidupan yang melibatkan emosi positif. Emosi positif dapat membangun sumber daya secara psikologis dan sosial, yang memudahkan untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan serta menghadapi permasalahan yang dihadapi. Kebersyukuran merupakan emosi positif yang berfungsi membantu siswa untuk merasakan kenyamanan terhadap lingkungan di sekitarnya termasuk ketika siswa berada di sekolah. sekolah. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada siswa adalah iswa masih merasakan ketidakpuasan dan emosi negatif ketika berada di sekolah. Banyak siswa memiliki banyak keluhan dan kekecewaan terkait kondisi serta pelayanan yang ada di sekolah, seperti kurikulum dan jadwal belajar. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dilaksanakan kegiatan peningkatan kebersyukuran pada siswa. Kegiatan ini membantu permasalahan yang dialami siswa. Pelatihan kebersyukuran membantu siswa meningkatkan well-being pada siswa, merasakan emosi positif yang diungkapkan melalui kemampuan para siswa mengungkapkan perasaan menjaga motivasi, tertawa, merasakan kepuasan di sekolah, yang diungkapkan melalui ekspresi kebahagian para siswa, pengalaman baru yang membawa rasa syukur, dan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang pentingnya bersyukur dan rintangan karena memiliki kerangka berpikir yang positif. Selain itu, pelatihan kebersyukuran juga membantu meningkatkan pertumbuhan empati pada siswa. Siswa yang bersyukur lebih mampu merasakan dan memahami perasaan orang lain, yang merupakan keterampilan penting dalam hubungan sosial. Kata kunci: Kebersyukuran, siswa, student well-being.

Abstract

Self-control or self-control is the ability of a student to organize, organize, guide, and direct behavior to achieve something. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-control and academic procrastination in students of the Faculty of Psychology, Makassar State University. Respondents in this study totaled 300 active student respondents at the Faculty of Psychology, State University of Makassar, batches of 2020, 2021 and 2022. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling with random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is the procrastination assessment scale for students to measure the level of academic procrastination and the self-control scale to measure the level of self-control. The analysis technique used is the product moment correlation from Karl Pearson to see the relationship between self-control and academic procrastination. The results showed that there is a relationship between self-control and academic procrastination. It means that the higher the level of self-control, the lower the level of academic procrastination among students.

Abstract

Students have a role to be involved in the learning process. Student engagement in the success of learning is essential. Based on the survey results, student engagement is not fulfilled in first-year students of the psychology faculty at Makassar State University. This is due to several factors, including not playing an active role in class; this is due to the emergence of fear of lousy assessment, a negative individual interpretation of this condition and can also be called fear of failure. This research aims to see if there is a relationship between fear of failure and student engagement in first-year students studying at the psychology faculty of Makassar State University. In this study, the researchers used a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 227 first-year psychology students at Makassar State University, p=0.00 (p<0.05) between student engagement and fear of failure. Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. The results of the influence of fear of failure of 8.3% and the remaining 91.7% were contributed by other variables that researchers did not use. This research is expected to provide an overview to first-year students regarding fear of failure and student engagement.

Abstract

Low school well-being is still experienced by students which can have an impact on low academic outcomes. One factor that can improve school well-being is basic psychological needs satisfaction at school. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between basic psychological needs Satisfaction at School with school well-being in students. The subjects of the study were 300 X students in Makassar. The criteria for the research subjects are students of the class of 2022, the Bugis tribe and the Makasaar tribe, willing to be research respondents. Research sampling technique using Multistage non random sampling. Data collection using 2 scales, namely the questionnaire used is the research instrument used is the Brief Adolescents' Subjective Well-Being in School Scale version Indonesian (BASWBSS). and basic Psychological Needs at School Scale (ASBPNSS). Hypothesis testing of this study uses simple regression data analysis techniques using the help of SPSS. The results showed a positive relationship between basic psychological needs Satisfaction at School with school well-being in students.

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka membebaskan sekolah dalam menerapkan jadwal dan model pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penerapan jadwal pembelajaran yang baru dinilai padat sehingga siswa sulit mengatur waktu dan menunda penyelesaian tugas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen waktu terhadap prokrastinasi akademik kurikulum merdeka pada siswa MAN 2 Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik accidental sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 208 yang merupakan siswa kelas X MAN 2 Kota Makassar. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana melalui bantuan SPSS 21.0 for windows. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ada pengaruh negatif yang signifikan manajemen waktu terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa. Hasil ini mengindikasikan semakin tinggi manajemen waktu siswa maka semakin rendah tingkat prokrastinasi akademik. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah tingkat manajemen waktu maka semakin tinggi kemungkinan siswa akan melakukan prokrastinasi.

Abstract

The problem of procrastination in students is a phenomenon that occurs which can have a negative impact on students. One of the negative impacts that occurs when procrastinating is not being able to submit assignments on time. Most students postpone assignments due to various factors. One of the factors that influences students' academic procrastination behavior is conformity. This research aims to see the effect of conformity on academic procrastination among Makassar State University students. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling technique. This research used quantitative methods with research respondents totaling 381 active students at Makassar State University. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence between conformity and academic procrastination among students (b = 0.572, p = 0.00 < 0.05), indicating that the higher the conformity score, the higher the academic procrastination among Makassar State University students. It is hoped that this research can serve as a guide for developing students' skills in overcoming academic procrastination behavior, so that students can complete their lecture assignments on time.

Abstract

Learning is the main activity in the education process and is a benchmark for the success or failure of the education process and goals. Success in the learning process to achieve learning goals is influenced by good concentration. However, not a few students who pay less attention to lessons are caused by lack of concentration which is closely related to motivation in learning. This study aims to see the effect of learning motivation on the learning concentration of students at SDIT Wahdah Islamiyah 01 Makassar. The sampling technique used the cluster random sampling technique. This study used a quantitative method with 148 research respondents from SDIT Wahdah Islamiyah 01 Makassar in grades V and VI. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence between learning motivation on learning concentration in grade V and VI students of SDIT Wahdah Islamiyah (p = 0.00 <0.05) showing positive results, namely the higher the learning motivation, the more positive the learning concentration. This study is expected to be a guideline for developing the skills of educational institutions and educators in increasing student learning motivation with varied media in the learning process.
