Abstract

The development of information technology has significantly influenced the learning process in schools. However, many students still have limited understanding of how to utilize technology effectively for learning activities. This issue was also found among students at SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu Tengah. This community service activity aims to increase students' learning motivation through the implementation of a web-based learning point system and provide knowledge about the use of internet technology in education. The methods used include preparation, socialization, system usage training, and evaluation. The results show that students gained better understanding of internet technology and experienced increased motivation to learn through the implementation of the learning point system. The system creates a more interactive and competitive learning environment among students. Therefore, this activity contributes to improving students' motivation and readiness in facing technological developments.

Abstract

The development of information technology has significantly influenced many sectors, including education. Higher education institutions are required to manage and analyze data effectively in order to support decision-making processes. One of the challenges faced by universities is predicting the number of new students each academic year. The uncertainty in the number of applicants can affect academic planning, facility preparation, and marketing strategies carried out by the institution. This study aims to apply the Apriori method to analyze new student admission data in order to discover patterns and relationships within the data that can be used as a basis for forecasting the number of new students in the following academic year. The research method used includes data collection through observation, interviews, and literature study. The data used in this study are historical data of new student registrations from previous years.The analysis process is carried out using the Apriori algorithm to identify frequent itemsets and association rules based on support and confidence values. The results of the study indicate that the Apriori method is capable of identifying patterns and relationships among variables in the new student registration process. The information generated from this analysis can assist universities in developing more effective strategies for student recruitment and admission planning. By implementing a data mining approach using the Apriori method, educational institutions are expected to utilize their existing data to generate valuable information that supports strategic decision making and improves forecasting accuracy for new student admissions

Abstract

ABSTRACT:SLB Negeri 1 Bengkulu City is one of the special schools in Bengkulu City that provides educational facilities for children with special needs with mental retardation so that they can get a proper education in teaching and learning process. In the class placement of students in schools, mental retardation is divided into 2 levels, namely mild and moderate by observing by looking at the IQ scores of students and the academic scores obtained. This is necessary, so that the teaching and learning process becomes more efficient and effective. However, sometimes the school has difficulty in determining class placement for students with special needs for mental retardation, because there is no application that can help grouping the student data. Application for clustering students with mental retardation at SLB Negeri 1 Bengkulu City by applying K-Means algorithm. This application is made using Visual Basic.Net programming language and SQL Server database. Based on the student clustering that has been carried out based on a data sample of 73 students using the application, the results obtained information that 47.9% of the Cluster 1 group (mild mental retardation level) and 37% of the Cluster 2 group (moderate mental retardation level) and 15.1% of the Cluster 3 group (severe mental retardation level) from the calculation of the Euclidean distance value by taking the closest distance

Abstract

Abstract : SMK Negeri 2 Bengkulu City is one of the State Vocational High Schools that located in Bengkulu City. Digital Simulation subjects (Simdig) are taught to class X students at school. The ability of students to understand these subjects is different, so it is sometimes difficult for the teacher during the learning process. Interest in learning tends to produce high achievement, otherwise a lack of interest in learning will result in low achievement. This is what causes the interests of each student to be different from other students. The implementation for clustering students' interest in Digital Simulation (SimDig) subjects at SMK Negeri 2 Bengkulu City is used to assist teachers in evaluating the teaching and learning process that has been carried out based on the grades that have been obtained by students at the end of the semester. The attributes used as parameters in determining the student's specialization are attendance scores, assignment scores, UTS scores, and UAS scores per semester per academic year. Based on the data on student scores in the SimDig subject as many as 24 students, the results of the clustering of students' specialization were 62.5% (Highly Interested) and 37.5% (Less Interested). Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the functionalities of the application for clustering students' interest in Digital Simulation subjects (SimDig) at SMK Negeri 2 Bengkulu City are running well as expected, and can provide information on the results of clustering of students' specialization in Digital Simulation subjects.

Abstract

Abstract-Health Social Security Organizing Agency for Contribution Assistance Recipient groups is assistance for the poor and disadvantaged people who are financed by the Government. The goal of the Health Social Security Administrative Body is to improve access and quality of health services for all underprivileged and incapable people to achieve optimal public health status effectively and efficiently. One of the problems faced by the Bengkulu City Social Service in determining beneficiaries of Health Social Security Administering Body assistance for the Contribution Assistance Beneficiary group is the process carried out by the Bengkulu City Social Service in making decisions on receiving Contribution assistance Health Social Security Administrative Body for poor families, still uses the manual method so it takes time. long to process. This decision support system for determining beneficiaries applies the K-Nearest Neighbor method to assist the selection process of citizens who are entitled to receive the Health Social Security Administrative Body so that it is easier to assess the criteria for residents. K-Nearest Neighbor can perform a mathematically based procedure to evaluate the values ​​of these criteria into an accurate description of the data classification. This decision support system is designed using the PHP Programming Language and MySQL Database. This decision support system can provide convenience for the Bengkulu City Social Service in determining beneficiaries of Health Social Security Administering Body assistance for groups of Contribution Assistance Recipients in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Abstract- Acceptance of new students is a routine activity every academic year that is carried out at school. IT IQRA' High School in Bengkulu City is one of the private schools in Bengkulu City which accepts new students every Academic Year. Based on data obtained from the 2018/2019 Academic Year to the 2022/2023 Academic Year (data attached), it shows that the level of the number of students sometimes decreases and also increases. This fluctuating pattern of student numbers is a problem faced by the school. IT IQRA Senior Middle School' Bengkulu City in determining the strategic steps and policies of the school in dealing with the Acceptance of New Students each Academic Year. The application for forecasting the number of enrollment students at IT IQRA' High School Bengkulu City was built using the Visual Basic .Net programming language and SQL Server 2008r2 Database. the forecasting application for the number of student enrollments at IT IQRA' High School in Bengkulu City is an application that can help schools find out how many new student enrollments will be in the coming school year based on the results of an analysis conducted from previous trend data using the Weight Moving Average Method. From the sample data used in the 2018/2019 Academic Year to 2022/2023, the forecast results obtained for the number of new student enrollments in the 2023/2024 Academic Year were 249 new students.

Abstract

In a school, the ranking of outstanding students is usually only chosen based on their final grades, and this is also the case at SMK 03 Bengkulu City. The selection of outstanding students at SMK 03 Bengkulu City is only based on report card scores which are ranked 1 to 5. In the selection process, there are many opportunities for making wrong decisions because the student selection process is only based on one aspect, namely the student's final grade, while the attitude and achievement scores obtained outside of school are not taken into consideration as additional criteria for determining students who are considered to be successful and get scholarship. This means that it is very likely that the selected outstanding students do not reach the desired standards which does not get the best candidates. The purpose of this research is as an alternative way for schools to determine outstanding students so that it is not only based on academic scores, and there is no cheating in selecting outstanding students. The method used in this research is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The results of this research show that SAW method can provide the best results from the criteria and weights that have been determined. From the results of calculations using the SAW method, a student named Ceci Dinda Trangilang obtained a preference value of 0.96

Rafflesia Hospital Is One Of The Private Public Hospitals In Bengkulu City, And Is Supported By Specialist Doctors And Other Supporting Medical Facilities. One Of Them Is The Rhinosinusitis Service. Rhinosinusitis Is Inflammation Of The Mucosa Or Mucous Membrane Of The Nose And Sinuses. Rhinosinusitis Is Caused By All Conditions That Result In Obstruction Of The Flow Of Mucus From The Sinuses To The Nasal Cavity. Due To The Large Number Of Patients With Rhinosinusitis And Not Being Comparable To The Available Medical Personnel, There Is Limited Time For Patients To Consult And Receive Services At Rafflesia Hospital. The Expert System For Diagnosing Rhinosinusitis Using The Naïve Bayes Method Can Be Accessed Online With Internet Access Via The Web Link Http://Rhinosinusitis.Yms.My.Id/.This Expert System Application Was Created Using The PHP Programming Language And Mysql Database. In The Application, The Naive Bayes Method Has Been Applied Which Is Used To Trace Rhinosinusitis Based On The Symptoms Experienced By The Patient. The System Successfully Displays The Expert System Application Page And Can Assist In Diagnosing Rhinosinusitis, By Providing Consultation Directions Starting From Entering Symptoms To Obtaining Consultation Results And Solutions Provided To Treat The Disease. Based On The Results Of The Tests That Have Been Carried Out, It Can Be Concluded That The Expert System Application For Diagnosing Rhinosinusitis Using The Naive Bayes Method Is Running Well, As Shown By The Expert System Application For Diagnosing Rhinosinusitis Using The Naive Bayes Method That Can Be Easily Used By Users.

Abstract

North Bengkulu Regency has a list of village heads who serve as village heads. Based on the current list of village heads in North Bengkulu Regency, the best village head will be selected. The problem faced in this research is that in selecting the best village head we only look at the abilities of the village head, even though there are several criteria that can be considered by the district in selecting the best village head. The criteria used in this research are Integrity (C1), Commitment to advancing the village (C2), Ability to manage village resources (C3), Work attitude (C4). To overcome the problems encountered, a decision support system is needed. The method used in this research is the Composite Performance Index (CPI) method, this method uses 54 criteria, namely: Integrity, Commitment to advancing the village, Ability to manage village resources, Work attitude. From the results of the research, the decision results were obtained with the best alternative, namely A5 in the name of Sugeng R with a value of 218.3333333

Abstract

This research aims to create an expert system application in diagnose green sugarcane plant diseases using the certainty factor method. Green sugar cane is one of the plantation crop commodities in Indonesia. However, cultivating green sugar cane does not escape various problems related to diseases that are likely to attack green sugar cane plants. If green sugar cane plants are attacked by disease, the yield and quality of green sugar cane will decrease which will then cause significant losses for green sugar cane farmers and green sugar plantation owners. If it is not immediately addressed, it will spread widely and worsen over time. The MySQL database can accommodate information and data from patients who consult with an expert system which can make it easy for patients to consult about green sugarcane plant diseases. The resulting expert system can make it easy for users to diagnose green sugarcane plant diseases online.
