Online learning certainly demands the readiness of educators and students. Online learning also really needs technology that can simplify the learning process. With increasingly advanced technology, it is hoped that the world of education affected by this pandemic can develop more and make good use of technology. The current method that can be used is by learning online using the google classroom application. This research aims to describe the online learning process through the online application google classroom science material magnetic material The type of research used is a qualitative approach. In data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used flow model data analysis by Miles and Huberman. This study concludes that learning magnetic material online through the google classroom application in class VI SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo 1 Surabaya, namely learning magnetic material online through the google classroom application is still lacking even though the teacher has implemented this online learning process properly and in detail. as an effort to carry out online learning in order to create a smooth and effective learning process. However, the role of parents in motivating their children is very necessary so that students are active in online learning through the google classroom application, so that the online learning process can achieve satisfactory assessment criteria and become a reference in future online google classroom learning.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the project elements in the Pancasila profile in order to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, especially critical thinking. Students who are able to think critically are students who have objective critical thinking skills who are able to effectively process, analyze and evaluate the information obtained to draw conclusions. This research aims to describe the Pancasila student profile of class IV phase (B) students by using critical thinking skills in understanding fraction material. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, which is based on actual data obtained from the field. The subjects of this research were 21 students from class IV B at SDN Kepuhwisata 1, consisting of 12 girls and 9 boys. This research focuses on students who have high critical thinking abilities (TAM). The data collection methods used involved written tests, unstructured interviews, and documentation. The written test was carried out twice, the first was a mathematics ability test which consisted of 5 questions and was tested on all class IV B students. The aim was to identify each student's critical thinking abilities. The second test is a critical thinking test which is taken by three students. These students are students who are selected and have been selected from the first test. Next, the three subjects will be analyzed in detail and interviews will be conducted

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of an open ended approach on the critical thinking skills of grade IV elementary school students. This study used a quasi-experimental design quantitative research approach with a Posstest Only Control Group Design design. The sampling technique in this study was a saturated sample, namely the entire fourth grade students of SD Hang Tuah 10 Juanda. Data collection applies test, observation, and documentation methods. The test results through the calculation process are then analyzed through hypothesis tests by applying two-party t-tests starting with prerequisite tests in the form of normality tests and homogeneity tests. The results of this study show that = 2.6 and = 2.1 so that > or < with a significant level of 5% are rejected. This means that there is an influence of an open ended approach on the critical thinking skills of grade IV elementary school students

Abstract

The study aims to characterize students' misconceptions regarding decimal fraction calculations based on their mathematical proficiency. This research is qualitative in nature. Fifth grade students at SDN Dukuh Menanggal I Surabaya were the research subjects, consisting of three students with high mathematics abilities, one student with moderate mathematics abilities, and one student with low mathematics abilities. Written tests and interviews were used as data collection methods, and misconception tests consisting of description questions and interview guides were used as research instruments. Research findings show that, contrary to popular belief, students who are highly skilled in mathematics make errors when writing numbers in their answers, even when the answers are unrelated to the question. When calculating the results of decimal fraction calculations, students with moderate abilities make mistakes due to misconceptions. Meanwhile, students with low ability have misconceptions when they do their work correctly, do not work seriously, and cannot understand the meaning of the questions

Abstract

This research aims to describe the relationship between mathematics and culture, especially culture in the form of the Reog Cemandi Sidoarjo dance art. The focus of this research is to describe geometric concepts through the Reog Cemandi Sidoarjo dance which can be used as a learning resource in elementary school mathematics learning. This research uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach where this approach is used to determine the material of flat shapes in mathematical concepts contained in the properties worn and used by Reog Cemandi Sidoarjo dance performers. The results of this research show that in the Reog Cemandi Sidoarjo dance there are mathematical elements which can be linked to mathematics learning, especially in elementary schools. There are four types of props for the Reog Cemandi Sidoarjo dance which contain geometric concepts, namely wooden machetes, headbands (udeng), yellow sampur, and jarik cloth motifs. The flat shape concepts found are a wooden machete (trapezoid), a headband (triangle), a yellow sampur (rectangle), and a jarik cloth motif (parallelogram). The findings of geometric concepts can be used as a culture-based learning resource for fourth grade elementary school students

Abstract

This study aims to implement culture-based learning on apem cake as a mathematics teaching material at SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya which is applied to class IV-B. This research uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach where this approach is used to find out the unit of weight in mathematical concepts contained in the ingredients of apem cake. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the implementasi of apem cake media as a mathematics teaching material in elementary schools is going well. Judging from the results of teacher observation and learner observation, it is in accordance with the material achievement indicators. This can also be seen in the results of the written test of students, out of 25 students in class IV-B there are 17 students who are in the high category who are able to exceed the achievement indicators of the material measurement of units of weight on apem cakes. The results of the students' response questionnaire are in line with the results of observations and written test results. Based on the results of teacher observations, student observations, written test results and student response questionnaires, it can be concluded that the implementation of apem cake media as a mathematics teaching material for measuring units of weight is an innovation for Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya Elementary School

Abstract

The decline in students' enthusiasm for studying mathematics was the inspiration for this research. The use of media will make mathematics learning more interesting. Visiora learning media will be used as the medium. Visilora's learning materials in the form of spatial materials are media that utilize technological advances and are able to foster a pleasant classroom environment, especially in mathematics learning. This research aims to explain how class II students at SDN Kepuh Kuncian 1 apply and respond to the visilora learning media on the topic of constructing shapes. Descriptive techniques and a qualitative approach were used in this research. Student observations, interviews, and questionnaires asking for student responses are the methods used to obtain data. Students were given a survey to fill out to measure the effectiveness of using Visillora learning resources
