Abstract

Media yang menggabungkan dua unsur sekaligus yaitu media audio dimana menggunakan unsur suara yang melibatkan indera pendegaran dan media visul yang menggunakan unsur gambar yang melibatkan indera penglihatan disebut media audio visual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara media audio visul dengan hasil belajar kelas IV tema 3 subtema 1 pembelajaran 1. Metode dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Belahantengah Mojokerto yang berjumlah 31 peserta didik dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni uji normalitas, uji linieritas, dan uji korelasi. Hasil uji korelasi menghasilkan adanya korelasi media audio visual dengan hasil belajar kelas IV tema 3 subtema 1 pembelajaran 1. Hal ini berdasarkan uji korelasi dengan menggunakan bantuan spss diketahui rhitung > rtabel yaitu 0,831 > 0,355. Dengan taraf signifikasi (Sig) . Sehingga hipotesis Ha yang menyatakan terdapat korelasi antara media audio visual dengan hasil belajar kelas IV tema 3 subtema 1 pembelajaran 1 dapat diterima.

Abstract

This research explores the creation of interactive learning materials based on Android for the Mathematics subject, specifically the topic of Volume of 3D Shapes (Cuboids and Cubes) for 5th-grade elementary students. The aim is to provide practical guidance on using Articulate Storyline 3 to create accessible interactive learning materials through Android devices. The research employed a sequential exploratory mixed-methods approach and the ADDIE model in the development process. Validation by subject and media experts obtained scores of 90% (Very Satisfied) and 87% (Very Satisfied). The developed application, “Volume of 3D Shapes,” enables direct interaction with the material, enhancing student engagement and comprehension. This research demonstrates the effectiveness of Articulate Storyline 3 in creating innovative interactive learning media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan e-modul menggunakan liveworksheet materi gaya di sekitar kita untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Validasi yang diperoleh dari berbagai ahli menunjukkan hasil yang sangat layak, yaitu 93,3% dari ahli media, 94,1% dari ahli materi, 90% dari ahli bahasa, dan 95,2% dari guru. Uji praktikalitas e-modul dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yaitu uji kelompok kecil dan uji kelompok besar. Hasil uji kelompok kecil menunjukkan persentase 85,7%, sedangkan uji kelompok besar memperoleh persentase 79,04%, keduanya masuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Uji Efektivitas diperoleh melalui hasil evaluasi kelompok kecil dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 84,91% dan untuk uji coba kelompok besar mendapat rata-rata sebesar 82,5%. Tidak hanya dari hasil evaluasi, saat diskusi siswa bisa aktif mengeluarkan pendapat yang mereka ungkapkan dan dihubungkan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Artinya e-modul menggunakan liveworksheet materi gaya di sekitar kita efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa siswa kelas III SD masih memiliki penguasaan konsep yang kurang. Penguasaan konsep sangat penting karena memungkinkan siswa untuk menyerap, memahami, dan mengingat materi yang dipelajari dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Dengan penguasaan konsep yang baik, siswa diharapkan dapat mendeskripsikan dan menghubungkan berbagai konsep satu sama lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan STEM dalam membangun penguasaan konsep pada materi perubahan sifat benda. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif Quasi Experimental Design melalui Pre-test Post-test Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa di SDN Bangsri, sementara sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dari kelas III-A (kelas kontrol) sebanyak 20 siswa dan kelas III-B (kelas eksperimen) sebanyak 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes yang berjumlah 10 soal essay keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh pendekatan STEM dalam menumbuhkan penguasaan konsep siswa kelas III SD pada materi perubahan sifat benda Kata Kunci: STEM, penguasaan konsep, perubahan sifat benda

Abstract

Asessment of learning outcomes is a crucial component of the educational process, with Assessment of Learning (AoL) serving as a key approach to evaluating students' achievements after the learning process. However, many teachers face challenges in designing valid, reliable, and appropriate assessment instruments that meet learning needs. This study aims to enhance teachers' competencies in designing high-quality AoL through an intensive training program. The methodology involves needs analysis, training material development, workshops, group discussions, practical simulations, as well as mentoring and field supervision. The training results show a significant improvement in teachers' understanding of concepts such as validity, reliability, and their ability to develop instruments based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The increase in the average score from the pre-test to the post-test by 24.7% demonstrates the program's success in improving teachers' competencies. This study highlights the importance of an integrated training approach to optimize teachers' abilities in designing high-quality assessments that support educational success.

Abstract

AbstrakPelaksanaan Action Research bagi guru merupakan sebuah kewajiban dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Namun, sebagian besar guru SD di mitra Kecamatan Sidayu merasa kesulitan dalam menyusun Action Research. PKM ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan pemahaman guru SD tentang Action Research; (2) meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam penyusunan Action Research. Mitra PKM ini adalah guru-guru di SD di mitra Kecamatan Sidayu. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) dilaksanakan secara daring. Kegiatan pengabdian secara keseluruhan dapat dinilai cukup baik, dilihat dari keberhasilan target jumlah peserta pelatihan dinilai cukup baik, ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan dinilai kurang baik, ketercapaian target materi yang telah direncanakan dinilai baik, dan kemampuan peserta dalam penguasaan materi dinilai baik. Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance teachers' competence in developing assessment instruments for both the learning process and outcomes based on a deep learning approach. Deep learning emphasizes meaningful, reflective, and contextual learning, which requires more authentic forms of assessment, such as rubrics, reflection journals, observation sheets, and projects. The training was conducted over three days and involved 25 teachers from the K3S of Tarik Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency. The implementation method consisted of four stages: needs identification, material preparation, training and mentoring, and evaluation. Pretest and posttest results showed an increase in the average score from 62 to 85. Additionally, 90% of participants expressed satisfaction with the content and methods of the training

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of applying Virtual Reality (VR) technology in teaching flat shapes to fourth-grade elementary school students. Using a quantitative experimental approach, two groups of students were compared: the experimental group using VR and the control group using conventional teaching methods. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant improvement in material understanding, with an average score increase of 26.86 points (31.7%), compared to the control group's 13.34 points (18.56%). Moreover, 85% of students in the experimental group felt more motivated, and 90% felt more engaged in the learning process. Observations also indicated that students were more active in asking questions and discussing when using VR. The paired t-test results showed strong significance (p = 0.000), indicating that VR effectively enhances students' geometric understanding. It can be concluded that the application of VR is an innovative solution in mathematics education at the elementary level, especially in introducing the concept of flat shapes. Further research is needed to explore the application of VR in broader educational contexts.

Abstract

Spatial thinking is a skill to remember, operate, manipulate, predict, combine, interpret, transform, explore an object to solve problems in various life contexts. Spatial thinking requires three related components, namely: the concept of space, spatial representation methods, and spatial reasoning. The difficulty of students for representing ideas encourages researchers to observe the spatial reasoning of elementary teacher training program’s student. Visual learning style is closely related to exact mathematical soul. Therefore, this study focuses on describing elementary teacher training program’ student’s visual learning style. The subjects of this research are students of class 2019 A and 2019 B as many as 70 elementary teacher training program’s student who are taking elementary school mathematics learning courses at a University in Surabaya and have been grouped into high, medium groups. and below. Medium group elementary teacher training program’s student were selected to be given a learning style test, which then described their spatial reasoning. The purpose of this study was to describe the reasoning of elementary teacher training program student’s visual learning style. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Researchers used written test, geometry problem-solving questions, and interviews to explore in-depth information on students who are elementary teacher training program’s student of visual learning style. There are 40 students in the medium group with details of 10 students with visual learning style, 30 students with auditory learning style and 10 students with kinesthetic learning style. The group of students who are elementary teacher training program student’s visual learning style are analyzed for their spatial reasoning based on the results of written tests and interviews. The results showed that the visual learning style student’s group tended to work sequentially and neatly meeting the criteria for spatial reasoning indicators. Visual learning style of elementary teacher training program’s student (KSV) could describe their spatial reasoning through the process of categorizing, generalizing, synthesizing, evaluating, define, combine, and represent in solving geometric problems. One of the main characteristics of visual learning styles appears when they manipulate objects and illustrate with sketches. They carry out the work process in detail and detail, and represent through pictures or visuals

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak has become a pandemic and its massive and relatively fast spread has made various elements change their patterns of life, without exception the world of education. The world of education changes the pattern of the learning system. Changes in learning patterns from face-to-face learning to online learning force teachers to learn quickly. One of them is making an online Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). For this reason, the lecturer team of the PGSD Study Program at the PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya considers that it is important to carry out the Training to Improve the Competence of Primary School Teachers in the Development of Online Learning Implementation Plans (RPP). The target of this Community Service is teachers at SDN Margorejo I Surabaya City, East Java. The implementation of Community Service (PPM) activities is carried out online through the zoom meeting application. This activity was carried out in September 2020. This Community Service Activity was carried out in the form of training and workshops starting with material exposure, discussions and workshops with lecturer assistance during group work. Implementation of the Community Service program PGSD Study Program at the University of PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya can solve the problem of preparing and developing an Online Learning Implementation Plan.
