Abstract

Tujuan penelitian dengan diselenggarakannya Lesson Study pada perkuliahan English for Chemistry I untuk 1) Meningkatkan kualitas rancangan pembelajaran yang disusun oleh dosen, 2). Meningkatkan kemampuan dosen dalam mengobservasi kelas, 3). Meningkatkan aktivitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran, 4). Meningkatkan kolegalitas antar dosen pengampu mata kuliah. Model lesson study yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model yang dikembangkan oleh Cerbin dan Koop. Lesson study merupakan upaya proses peningkatan pembelajaran secara kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip kolegalitas dan mutual learning. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model ini bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada mata kuliah English for Chemistry I.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan model Learning Cycle 7E dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan model  konvensional  dan mengetahui besarnya pengaruh penggunaan model  Learning Cycle 7E terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik cluster random sampling. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan terdiri dari soal pretest, posttest dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil uji U-Mann Whitney, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Learning Cycle 7E dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan model konvensional. Pembelajaran dengan model Learning Cycle 7E memberikan pengaruh sebesar 33,65% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit di SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak.   Kata Kunci: Learning cycle 7E, hasil belajar, larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit   Abstract: This research aims to know the differences in learning outcomes among the students taught by using 7E Learning Cycle  models with the students taught by using conventional models and effect of  application of 7E Learning Cycle  models to increase the learning outcomes at SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak. Non equivalent control group design was applied as research. Samples were taken by means of cluster random sampling. Pretest, posttest and guidlines interview were used to collect data. Based on U-Mann Whitney test, it can be concluded there was a difference in learning outcomes between  the students taught by using 7E Learning Cycle  models with students taught by using conventional models. Learning model with 7E Learning Cycle influenced by 33.65% towards an increase in student learning outcomes in electrolyte and non- electrolyte solution materials at SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak. Abstract

AbstractThe purposes of this research are to investigate:1) The differences in student learning outcomes between taught Videoscribe media and learning without Videoscribe  media in class X SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. on chemical bonding material 2) The influence of learning with  Videoscribe media the learning outcomes in class X SMA Mujahidin Pontianak on chemical bonding material. The form of the research was quasy experiment with nonequivalent control group design. Sample selection technique was random sampling. Instrument of the research was of test.  To find out the differences in student learning outcomes used the U-Mann Whitney test, based on the results of the hypothesis test obtained the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.033, the test  result showed that there was a difference between student learning outcomes taught Videoscribe media and student learning outcomes taught without Videoscribe. Learning using Videoscribe learning media in class X SMA Mujahidin Pontianak on chemical bonding material giving the influence of 19.85% toward  student learning outcomes.Keywords: Videoscribe learning media, learning outcomes, chemical bonds.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine differences in students 'science process skills before and after practicum methods are applied and to determine the magnitude of the improvement of practicum methods for students' science process skills in the material of Acid, Bases, and Salt Seventhegrade students’ of SMP Negeri 08 Pontianak. The form of research used was pre-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest design research design. The sample selection technique is done by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection tools used were the initial Science Process Skills test instrument, the final Science Process Skills, and interview guidelines. The test questions are validated using the validity of the Gregory test. The test questions used in the form of essays with indicator indicators are observing, classifying and predicting and have a validity spread of 1 of the two validators with very high categories. Test questions are reliably using Cronbach alpha. The reliability result is 0.6 with a high category so that the test questions are feasible to use.There are differences in students' science process skills before and after practicum methods applied in Acid, Basa, and Salt material for Seventhegrade students’ of SMP Negeri 08 Pontianak. From the N-Gain calculation results obtained by 0.4 with the medium category, this shows that learning with practicum methods has an enhancement on the science process skills in acid, basic, and salt Seventhegrade students’ of SMP Negeri 08 Pontianak.Keywords: Practical Method, Science, Acid, Base, Salt Process Skills

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran role playing dengan metode ceramah, besarnya pengaruh serta respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan model role playing pada materi hidrokarbon kelas X SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian ?Nonequivalent Control Group Design?. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik Cluster random sampling. Tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk essay dan angket respon siswa digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney, diperoleh nilai Asymp. sig.((2-tailed) 0,030 yangmenunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil dari perhitungan Effect Size (ES) diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,95 yang menunjukkan penggunaan role playingmemberikan pengaruh sebesar 32,89% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Respon siswa kelas eksperimen terhadap pembelajaran model role playing pada materi hidrokarbon diperoleh tingkat persetujuan rata-rata sebesar 76,93% dengan interpretasi tergolong kuat. Kata Kunci: role playing, hidrokarbon, hasil belajar, dan respon. Abstract:This research aimes to knowthedifferences in learning outcomes between the student are given learning by model of role playing and lecture methods, the magnitude of the effect and response of students to the learning model of role playing in X grade of SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. The research method was quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The study sample was determined by Cluster random sampling technique. Achievement test in the form of essays and student responsesquestionnaire were used as a instrument. Based on data analysisusing the U Mann-Whitney test, obtained value Asymp. sig. ((2-tailed) .030  indicating that there was a difference in student learning outcomes. The results of calculation of Effect Size (ES) obtained a value of 0.95, which shows the use role playing gives the effect of 32.89% on improving student learning outcomes. Response of  students experimental classon learning model of role-playing in the hydrocarbon material obtained approval levels by an average of 76.93% were classified as strong. Abstract

AbstractThe importance of knowledge of laboratory practicum equipment for labor safety and knowledge of the tools that affect the students psychomotor ability and the implementation of the practicum that requires good of the toolsl to facilitate the lab activities then conducted research to know the knowledge of chemistry practicum and psychomotor ability of students MAN 1 Pontianak . This study aim to described the knowledge of students 'chemical practicum tools and to describe students' psychomotor abilities. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The sample selected  using purposive random sampling technique that is class XI MIPA 3. The data collection tool used is a matter of chemistry practicum knowledge test and student psychomotor ability assessment sheet. Based on the result of the research, it is found that student?s knowledge about chemistry laboratory equipment has average value 74. This value indicates that student succeed with category Good. Psychomotor ability of student to the tools and glassware of chemistry laboratory has the average value of 83. Abstract

AbstractThe research aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes between students who were taught by themodel active learningtype of card sort with students who were  taught by the method of discussion on hydrocarbon material of alkena group in class XI MIA SMAN 2 Pontianak. The research uses Quasy Experimental Designs with  Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this research is the students of class XI MIA 2 as the control class and XI MIA 3 as the experimental class. Based on data analysis using U-Mann whitney test obtained Asymp. sig. value ((2-tailed) is 0,017 or Asymp. sig.((2-tailed) < 0,05, so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means there are differences in learning outcomes between students of control class and students of experimental class on hydrocarbon material of alkane group. Learning using active learning model of card sort type gives high influence with effect size is 1,11. This indicates that learning using active learning model of card sort type can improve students' learning outcomes on hydrocarbon material of alkane group in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak.Keywords: active learning model, card sort, hydrocarbon of alkena group, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan generik sains siswa pada praktikum sifat koligatif larutan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experiment design dengan rancangan penelitian One-Shot Case Study. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pengukuran menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan generik sains siswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase keterampilan generik sains siswa pada aspek pengamatan langsung sebesar 79,164% dengan kategori baik, aspek pengamatan tidak langsung sebesar 82,91% dengan kategori baik, aspek konsistensi logis sebesar 65,41% dengan kategori cukup, dan aspek hukum sebab akibat sebesar 69,165% dengan kategori cukup.   Kata Kunci: Keterampilan generik sains, model pembelajaran inkuiri, sifat koligatif larutan   Abstract: The purpose of this research was to describe generic science skills of students in the practicum colligative properties using inquiry learning model.The form of research was pre-experiment design with one-shot case study design. Determination of sample in this reserch using purposive sampling technique. Observation sheet of generic science skills of students were used to collect data. The percentage of generic science skills of students on aspects of direct observation was 79,164% with good category, aspects of indirect observation was 82,91% with good category, aspects of logical consistency was 65,41% with enough category and aspects of the law of causation was 69,165% with fair category. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan perbedaan minat dan hasil belajar siswa serta pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan ?Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest Posttest Design? yang melibatkan 2 sampel yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan minat dan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis lingkungan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji-t angket minat belajar (? ? 0,05) diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,030 dan uji-t posttest (? ? 0,05) diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Hasil belajar siswa kelas XI pada materi koloid di SMAN 1 Mandor meningkat sebesar 42,51%. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis lingkungan memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap minat dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci:  Pembelajaran Kontekstual berbasis Lingkungan, Minat Belajar, Hasil Belajar Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine the difference of student learning interest and students learning outcomes with  the influence of environmental-based of contextual learning model on the results of student learning outcomes. This study employed a Quasi-Experimental Design with "Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest Posttest Design".  The sample was a class XI IPA 1 as the control class and class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class. Based on the result of  data analysis in this research, it can be concluded that there were many differences in students learning  interest and student learning outcomes which was significant between experimental class with control class after using contextual learning model environmental based. This can be finded which the result of t-test  questionnaire interest in learning (? ? 0,05) was obtained sig (2-tailed) of 0,030 t-test and posttest (? ? 0,05) was obtained sig (2-tailed) of 0,000. The effect of learning used environmental-based of contextual learning model was 42,51% to increase in class XI students learning outcomes in colloidal material in SMAN 1 Mandor. So, it means by using environmental-based of contextual learning model can give the positive influence to the students interest and learning outcomes.Keywords: Environmental Based of Contextual Learning Model, Learning Interest, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrack            The aims of this study were to determine whether there was differences of environmental care attitudes between students who was tought by using environment-based learning and students who was tought by using conventional methods and also to determine the effect of environment-based learning towards students’ environmentalcare attitude in environmental pollution course at SMP 13 Pontianak. This research was a quasi eksperimentalwith nonequivalent control groupdesign. Sampling technique by using random sampling . The tools of data collectionwere questionnaire and interview. The environmental care attitude was analayzedusing the U-Mann Whitney test. There was difference of environmental care attitude between studentswho was tougt by using environment-based learning and students who was tought by using conventional methods.Environtment-based learning influenced 29,1% on behavioral caring of environtment of student of class VII SMP 13 Pontianak. Keywords:Environment-Based Learning, Environmental CareAttitude Environmental Poluttion Course Study
