Abstract

Numerous studies suggest that teaching vocabulary poses challenges due to teachers' uncertainty about effective methods. Based on six years of academic experience at Slavaring Islamic School, difficulties in vocabulary learning stem from students' inability to apply vocabulary in conversations and a lack of classroom concentration, often exacerbated by negative learning experiences. To address this, multimedia, including text, audio, and video, is proposed to make vocabulary learning enjoyable. Duolingo, an educational program encompassing various activities like listening, reading, writing, and grammar, is highlighted as a valuable tool for vocabulary teaching. This research adopts a quasi-experimental design involving eighth-grade students at Slavaring Islamic Senior High School. The experimental group, taught using Duolingo, demonstrated enhanced vocabulary retention compared to the control group. Empirical evidence, obtained through multiple-choice tests and pre-tests, indicates a positive impact of Duolingo on vocabulary acquisition. Statistical analysis with a 5% significance level affirms the effectiveness of Duolingo, showcasing its potential to enhance vocabulary learning for eighth-grade students at Slavaring Islamic Junior High School in the academic year 2023/2024.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many arrangements of human life around the world, especially in terms of education and health, therefore the involvement of UIN Mataram here is to direct its students to carry out Participatory Work Lectures from Home (KKP-DR). The implementation of the KKP-DR is focused on aspects of education and health that are moderated by religion. These two aspects are expected for students to be involved in helping the government overcome various problems in education and health. In Gomong Sakura Village, Selaparang, Mataram. Various efforts were made by students in both aspects. In the field of education, students provide tutoring for school children from elementary school to high school levels, while in the health sector, students carry out socialization to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Pandemi covid 19 telah merubah banyak tatanan kehidupan manusia diseluruh dunia terutama dari segi pendidikaan dan Kesehatan maka dari itu Keterlibatan UIN Mataram di sini adalah mengarahkan mahasiswanya untuk melaksanakan Kuliah Kerja Partisipatif Dari Rumah (KKP-DR). Pelaksanaan KKP-DR difokuskan pada aspek pendidikan dan Kesehatan yang bermoderasi agama. Kedua aspek tersebut diharapkan mahasiswa dapat terlibat untuk membantu pemerintah mengatasi berbagai persoalan dalam pendidikan dan kesehatan. Di Desa Gomong Sakura, Selaparang, Mataram. Berbagai upaya dilakukan oleh mahasiswa pada kedua aspek tersebut. Dalam bidang pendidikan, mahasiswa memberikan bimbingan belajar kepada anak sekolah mulai dari jenjang sekolah dasar hingga sekolah menengah, sedangkan pada bidang kesehatan, mahasiswa melakukan sosialisasi pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19.

Abstract

This research was conducted on the basis of knowing how the process of learning Arabic as well as innovations and strategies on maharah kitabah skills. Which in learning Arabic there are four stages that must be passed first in the process of learning Arabic namely, listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills and finally writing skills (kitabah). In the process of honing writing skills, a strategy is needed in it. Because writing skills are one of the skills that are quite difficult to include in this study where we will explain how writing skills are applied at the Mataram state Islamic university, which requires all students, especially those majoring in Arabic language education, to complete their final proposal and thesis in Arabic. Therefore, in this study we will discuss how the learning strategies applied at Mataram State Islamic University are related to this skill.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerilaku karyawan dan pimpinan merupakan faktor yang penting dalam sebuah perusahaan karena akan menentukan kesuksesan suatu perusahaan. Dalam perusahaan perbankan khususnya, karyawan dibagian penyusunan dan pelaporan keuangan harus lebih diperhatikan perilakunya terutama dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan apakah sudah sesuai prosedur atau sistem yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan. Perusahaan itu sendiri harus memperhatikan penerapan sistem keuangan atau akuntansi perusahaan karena akan sangat mempengaruhi laporan keuangan jika para karyawan tidak bekerja sesuai dengan sistem yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh akuntansi keperilakuan terhadap sistem kas dalam pelaporan arus kas pada PT. Bank NTT Cabang Surabaya. Metode analisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa akuntansi keperilakuan memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap penerapan sistem kas perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disarankan kepada pimpinan bank untuk perlu memberikan pengetahuan tentang akuntansi keperilakuan kepada seluruh karyawannya, sehingga dalam penerapan sistem tidak terjadi kecurangan dan penyimpangan sehingga akan memberikan pertumbuhan yang sehat pada PT. Bank NTT Cabang Surabaya.Kata kunci: sistem kas, akuntansi keperilakuan, laporan keuangan

Abstract

As we know that learning will not be optimal if there is no learning strategy because the learning strategy is an operational method, it will include the style that the teacher uses in composing lessons, the arts that are displayed by the teacher in the learning process as well as facilities and media in various forms for the learning process, and Learning strategies can be a major factor in the success of language learning.One example of in supporting Arabic learning, the thematic model is one solution. The curriculum K- 13 at the elementary school level gives birth to an eye that is mixed into a single unit, namely thematic. Learning Arabic thematic model is a method that refers to the themes in the environment around students. And the thematic learning aims to develop the competence of attitudes, knowledge, and skills of students. Especially in learning Arabic, it can create a comfortable and pleasant classroom atmosphere, build cohesiveness with each other such as forming cooperative groups, collaborations, study groups, can encourage students to solve problems, Learners can quickly and timely obtain information. In carrying out learning with the thematic model, it must be in accordance with the principles and foundations in accordance with what has been described based on the socialization of the 2013 curriculum provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Abstract

Al-Ashwat (الأصوات) comes from arabic, which is the plural form of the word shaout (صوت) which means sound or sound. Al-Ashwat became a term for the study of Arabic language science, which is an Arabic discipline that recites sound or sound systems. This science examines the sounds and various sounds that are produced by human speech tools. In the teaching of al-ashwat there are at least two learning methods that pay attention to the teaching of language sounds the two methods are the Phonetic Method and the Mim-mem Method. The al-ashwat method that can improve listening skills (maharatul istima') is the Phonetic Method. The application of the al-ashwat method, namely the Phonetic Method, to learn listening skills (maharatul istima') Istima' 1 Course, Department of Arabic Language Education, Mataram State Islamic University. This research uses qualitative methods, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction and data verification techniques. The results of this study provide information that istima'1 learning using the phonetic method in the Arabic Language Education Department of Mataram State Islamic University has been well arranged. However, in its application there are still obstacles, both internal and external constraints. The application of this method in order to obtain maximum results as expected, namely students are able to understand the sounds or sounds they hear, are able to recite what they hear, and can pour the results they hear into a piece of writing. So that this method is appropriate to be used in learning Istima' Skills in the Department of Arabic Language Education, Mataram State Islamic University.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar curriculum is a policy from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia that encourages students and lecturers to improve competence by conducting education-based collaborative activities outside the agency. Of course, this policy also goes through an adaptation process in its implementation in various universities, one of which is the State Islamic University of Mataram. This research was conducted to determine the opportunities and challenges of implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum with case studies in the Department of Arabic Language Education. Data collection was done by observation and interviews. After the data is obtained and processed, the researcher analyzes the problem descriptively with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that lecturers in PBA Study Program have a good understanding of the learning concept of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum and recognize the importance of developing skills for students.The Merdeka Belajar curriculum is a policy from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia that encourages students and lecturers to improve competence by conducting education-based collaborative activities outside the agency. This study aims to examine how the impact of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in universities. This study provides insight for educators, lecturers, and students in facing challenges and taking advantage of opportunities for the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at the Merdeka Belajar Campus

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using domino media in improving the understanding of qawā'id (fundamental principles) in Arabic language learning at MA Al-Raisiyah Sekarbela. This research was conducted on May 24, 2023/2024 academic year involving 21 class XI students. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The research results show that using domino learning media positively increases students' understanding of qawā'id in learning Arabic at MA Al-Raisiyah Sekarbela. This learning media has the potential to facilitate the learning process and increase student involvement in understanding qawā'id material. Preliminary findings indicate that the use of domino media has a positive influence on students' qawā'id understanding. It promotes engagement, interactivity, and a practical approach to learning, which is particularly beneficial for comprehending the intricate rules of the Arabic language. Additionally, students express enthusiasm for this novel approach and report increased motivation and confidence in applying qawā'id principles. This research contributes to the growing literature on innovative teaching methodologies and technology-enhanced Learning in Arabic language education. The results suggest that integrating domino media into the curriculum can lead to more effective qawā'id acquisition, ultimately enhancing Arabic language proficiency. The findings have implications for Arabic language educators and curriculum developers seeking to improve the quality of instruction and learning outcomes in qawā'id comprehension.

Abstract

This study tries to see how the Application of Snowball Throwing Media on the Activeness and Vocabulary Mastery of MTSN 3 Mataram Students, with the aim of knowing the extent of students' activeness and mastery of Arabic vocabulary with the application of learning media in the form of snowball throwing. This study used a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive research type. The instruments used were observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the snowball throwing media has an effect on the activeness of some students, but it does not have much effect on students' vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

Distance learning or what we usually know as e-learning. E-learning is a learning process using computer technology and computer networks or what we commonly know as the internet. E-learning is used by students to learn through computers. As we know, electronic-based learning is a new technique in terms of the teaching and learning process. This study aims to describe the use of e-learning-based learning media using the kahoot platform in Arabic language learning in class XI.A MA Assulami, Langko, Lingsar. This application works by means of game-based learning or can be called by. The intention is to involve more active participation between students and educators through ongoing learning competitions. The data collection technique used is observation by teaching students in the school. With this platform, learning becomes more interactive which will make teaching and learning activities more fun and certainly will not make the classroom atmosphere saturated when the teaching and learning process takes place.
