Abstract

In this AEC time, competition can be a benchmark of the significance of progressing the quality of human assets in Indonesia. To respond to current market conditions, it is necessary to have a fast response. The aim is that educational institutions can face the changing global market threat. Education in SMKs must be able to develop and be able to innovate to follow up on opportunities and challenges in the global market. The right solution to this problem is the work-based learning model approach. There are three approaches to learning: first, the practice of fieldwork is a form of development that can be done by vocational education institutions to improve skills not found in the learning process at school and carried out together with the Business World or Industrial World (BW/IW). Second, the industrial class, which is currently widely applied in vocational schools because it is one of the programs considered to be able to bridge the competency gap that exists in schools with BW/IW so that schools can continue to follow the times that can produce skilled workers in the industry. Third, the teaching factory is work-based learning in vocational schools whose output is production/service that alludes to the benchmarks and methods that apply within the industry and are carried out in an atmosphere like that that exists within the industry. Through learning opportunities in practical settings, work-based learning will have an impact on participants and serve as a model for improving the standard of instruction at vocational institutions.

Abstract

To evaluate the effectiveness of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on learning motivation and its impact on the academic achievement of PTM FT UNM students, a study will be conducted. This research will use a quantitative approach with path analysis. Path analysis is a statistical method that provides a quantitative interpretation for multiple variables within an analysis model. It tests the influence between independent and dependent variables by analyzing both direct and indirect effects among the variables. Regression correlation analysis will be employed to determine the percentage contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable. The data processing results indicate that the PBL model and learning motivation together affect learning achievement by 13.8%, while the remaining 86.2% is influenced by other factors. Specifically, the PBL model accounts for 7.00% of the effect on achievement, with 93.00% attributed to other unexamined factors. Additionally, the PBL model impacts motivation by 28.65%, with the remaining 71.35% influenced by other factors not studied

Abstract

This study is an Ex Post Facto study because the independent variables are not manipulated or subjected to specific treatments; instead, they are analyzed based on symptoms that appeared in respondents before the study's initiation. Adopting a cause-and-effect approach of "if x then y," this study does not involve direct control over the independent variables. Three variables are examined: two independent variables, Multimedia and Critical Thinking, and one dependent variable, the Effectiveness of the e-module. The relationship between the variables is analyzed using the correlation method, while the module's effectiveness is assessed through a quasi-experiment involving four control classes and four experimental classes. The study's results indicate that: (1) Multimedia and Critical Thinking collectively influence the Effectiveness of the E-learning Module, (2) Multimedia has a significant individual effect, whereas Critical Thinking has only a minimal impact, and (3) the Paired Samples t-test reveals an increase in learning outcomes, with an average difference of -13.92 between the Pre-Test and Post-Test. The regression analysis yielded a value of 71.314, categorizing it as effective. This e-learning module has demonstrated considerable effectiveness in enhancing understanding related to Multimedia.
