Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and product quality on purchasing decisions at Madam Souvenir, Medan. The population in this study were customers of Madam Souvenir. The research method used was a quantitative method and the research sample used purposive sampling. The sample used in this study was 30 people. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Madam Souvenir, 2) Product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Madam Souvenir, 3) Service quality and product quality have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on purchasing decisions at Madam Souvenir.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of income and sales on employee career advancement in the glassware sales division at Toko Aneka Sumber Medan. The population in this study consists of all employees in the glassware sales division, with a total sample of 30 respondents. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that: 1) Income has a positive and significant effect on employee career advancement, 2) Sales performance has a positive and significant effect on employee career advancement, and 3) Income and sales performance simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee career advancement at Toko Aneka Sumber Medan.

Abstract

Penellitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen komunikasi dan sinergitas penanganan bencana sosial daerah rawan konflik di Sulawesi tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model deskriptif, informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah sebanyak 85 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumen, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan studi pustaka. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan model interaktif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kabupaten Buton Selatan dan Kota Bau-Bau menghadapi beragam konflik sosial yang kompleks, mulai dari sengketa agraria, perkelahian antar pemuda, konflik pemekaran desa, hingga penolakan pembangunan dan konflik pengelolaan pasar yang bernuansa etnis. Akar permasalahan meliputi ketidaktertiban administrasi tanah, konsumsi minuman keras oleh pemuda, kurangnya pelibatan tokoh adat dalam pemekaran wilayah, dan stigmatisasi antar kelompok etnis. Pendekatan resolusi konflik yang efektif membutuhkan integrasi konsep Fisher dan Nasikun dengan manajemen komunikasi krisis, melibatkan tahapan de-eskalasi, negosiasi, mediasi, dan rekonsiliasi. Sinergitas berbagai pemangku kepentingan pemerintah, tokoh adat, tokoh agama, dan masyarakat sipil menjadi kunci dalam penanganan konflik, didukung oleh komunikasi dialogis dan partisipatif. Revitalisasi peran institusi adat seperti Parabela dan penguatan sistem peringatan dini berbasis komunitas dapat mencegah eskalasi konflik. Pengembangan ketahanan komunitas melalui penguatan modal sosial dan kapasitas lokal menjadi fondasi bagi perdamaian berkelanjutan di wilayah rawan konflik tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of internal motivation and transformational leadership on employee performance with spiritual intelligence as a moderating variable at the Lubuklinggau City Social Service. The background of this study is based on the importance of the role of human resources in achieving organizational goals and the decline in employee work productivity as seen from monthly performance achievement data. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. The sample used was all 31 employees of the Lubuklinggau City Social Service, with a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires with a Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study are expected to provide empirical evidence that internal motivation and transformational leadership have an effect on employee performance, and spiritual intelligence can moderate this effect. This study also provides theoretical contributions to the development of human resource management science and practical benefits in improving the performance of public organizations.

Abstract

Independence in maintaining personal hygiene is a crucial aspect of preschool children's development. One of the factors influencing this development is the parenting style applied by parents. An appropriate parenting style can help children develop responsibility and independence from an early age. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting style and independence in personal hygiene among preschool children at Al-Ikhlas Kindergarten, Serpong, South Tangerang, in 2024. This research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design and utilized Fisher’s Exact test for analysis. A total of 46 respondents were selected using simple random sampling. The results showed that the majority of parents applied a democratic parenting style (27 respondents or 54%), and most children were categorized as independent (31 respondents or 62%). The p-value obtained was 0.003. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between parenting style and independence in personal hygiene among preschool children at Al-Ikhlas Kindergarten, Serpong, South Tangerang, in 2024

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of character education values in children's short stories by contemporary Indonesian authors. This study is motivated by the importance of instilling character in children from an early age through media that is close to their world, one of which is through children's literature. The purpose of this study is to reveal how character values such as responsibility, honesty, empathy, and independence are represented contextually, especially through characters, conflicts, and story resolutions in contemporary children's short stories. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a content analysis method. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation of children's short stories published in the period 2015–2024 and interviews with elementary and junior high school teachers in Banyuwangi. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that character values in contemporary children's short stories are represented contextually and close to the world of children, appear strongly in the structure of conflict and story resolution, and feature independent and empowered child characters. These short stories are an effective medium in character education because they are able to build emotional involvement and moral reflection in child readers in a natural and enjoyable way.

Abstract

Terjadinya konflik akibat benturan kepentingan merupakan hal yang lumrah dalam kehidupan sosial-politik masyarakat. Sebab setiap individu memiliki rasionalitas yang berbeda-beda serta pentingannya masing-masing dalam kehidupan. Meskipun begitu, setiap konflik yang terjadi tentunya memerlukan penyelesaian atau resolusi. hal ini menjadi penting, sebab setiap konflik yang dibiarkan tanpa adanya penyelesaian, berotenti mengakibatkan masalah yang lebih besar dan dapat merugikan banyak pihak. Hal ini pula yang berlaku dalam dinamika konflik antar sopir angkot dengan operator bus Trans Padang beberapa waktu lalu. Penelitian ini penelitian ini berjudul “Konflik Antara Sopir Trans Padang Dan Sopir Angkot” . analisis pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang konflik pada dasarnya disebabkan oleh persoalan mis-komunikasi serta terdapat beberapa aktor yang dilibatkan dalam konflik maupun pada penyelesaian atau resolusinya. Abstract

The production of plastic waste is increasing every day along with the increase in the number of products and people's consumption patterns. What must be done to overcome the increasing volume of waste is to reduce the volume of waste from the source through community empowerment. Based on Law no. 18/2018 one of the activities for waste management is recycling it into something useful. Ecobricks are one of the creative businesses that can be done. Ecobricks are made from used mineral water bottles filled with plastic waste until they have a solid texture. Products made from ecobricks can be created in the form of chairs, tables, pots and other art items. This potential must be accompanied by the community's ability to determine the selling price or cost of production of the product. In this research, product price determination was calculated using the full costing method for products made from ecobrick plastic waste. The results of price calculations using the full costing method show that the cost of production for each unit of ecobrick creation table is IDR 393,500. In this way, we can know the cost of production that is spent on producing the ecobrick creation table, so that the management can determine the selling price based on the amount of margin they set.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of daily muhasabah (self-reflection) through reflective journals in enhancing self-awareness among fourth-grade students at SDIT Insan Kamil. The research was motivated by the need to integrate Islamic values with pedagogical strategies to foster holistic character development. A descriptive qualitative case study approach was employed, involving classroom observations, student journals, and interviews with teachers. Data were collected over one month and analyzed through thematic analysis. Results indicated significant improvements in students' self-awareness, evidenced by their ability to identify emotions, evaluate behaviors, and articulate personal reflections. Students demonstrated increased responsibility, empathy, and proactive self-improvement. Teachers observed enhanced emotional openness and critical thinking skills among participants. The reflective journal also served as a communication tool, enabling teachers to address individual student needs effectively. The study concludes that daily muhasabah through reflective journals is a practical and impactful method for nurturing self-awareness in Islamic elementary education. Recommendations include teacher training, parental involvement, and broader implementation of reflective practices in Islamic schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah sebagai alternatif pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga di Desa Ulu Lapao-pao Kecamatan Wolo Kabupaten Kolaka, dan untuk mengetahui dampak pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah sebagai alternatif  pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga di Desa Ulu Lapao-pao Kecamatan Wolo Kabupaten Kolaka. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun informan penelitian adalah petani yang memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah. Jenis dan sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah sangat berfungsi terutama dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga, dan menopang perekonomian keluarga, hasil dari tanaman tersebut bisa dikonsumsi dan dijual 2.) Pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah memberikan dampak ekonomi dan sosial. Secara ekonomi, pekarangan membantu menghemat pengeluaran, memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga, dan membuka peluang usaha. Secara sosial, pemanfaatan pekarangan memperkuat komunikasi, menumbuhkan rasa berbagi, dan meningkatkan kesehatan keluarga.
