Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the relevance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the modern lives of students at Bandung Tourism High School. In the era of globalization and technological advancement, the younger generation faces significant challenges in maintaining religious values ​​amidst the currents of modernization, especially in a tourism education environment that is open to cultural and lifestyle diversity. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This approach was chosen because it is appropriate for exploring and understanding the meaning, experiences, and interpretations of informants regarding the application of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the context of modern life in a tourism-based high school environment. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of PAI teachers, students, and school officials. The results of the study indicate that PAI teachers have a contextual understanding of the challenges of modern life. Teachers not only teach PAI normatively, but also align the material with contemporary issues relevant to the students' world, such as technology, adolescent lifestyles, and ethics in the tourism workplace. This builds students' understanding that Islamic teachings remain relevant and necessary in facing the challenges of the modern era. Students respond positively to the application of Islamic values ​​in the context of modern life. Most students found it helpful to understand religious values ​​through a contextual approach. They stated that Islamic Religious Education is not just a theory, but a guide to life

Abstract

Schools are complex organizations where conflicts may arise from both technical issues and interpersonal relations. This study investigates conflicts at SDN Bojongmekar, particularly between senior and junior teachers and those related to limited resources. It also explores the adaptive leadership strategies of the principal, the supporting and inhibiting factors, and the impact on teacher performance. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analyzed thematically with source triangulation to ensure validity. The findings indicate that conflicts mainly occur as internal organizational and interpersonal tensions between senior and junior teachers. The principal applied adaptive leadership through structured steps, supported by open communication, while seniority culture remained the main barrier. Adaptive leadership was found to improve teacher motivation, collaboration, and the overall work climate. In conclusion, adaptive leadership transformed conflict into opportunities to enhance teacher performance and build a more conducive environment for quality learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid's thoughts on human rights-based education within the framework of Islamic humanism and to identify obstacles to its implementation in the context of national education. Using a qualitative literature review approach, data were obtained through a review of Gus Dur's works and related academic literature. The results indicate that Gus Dur's thoughts emphasize the importance of inclusive, democratic education based on respect for diversity. Three main findings were identified: a lack of understanding of human rights values among teachers, conventional teaching methods that minimize student participation, and a social environment that does not support the spirit of inclusion. Additionally, inclusive learning strategies and educational environments have been shown to play a significant role in increasing students' awareness of human rights values. Gus Dur stated that education is a means of humanising humans, not merely a tool for reproducing knowledge. Therefore, human rights-based education must be realized systematically through curriculum reform, teacher training, and collaboration between schools and the community. This study contributes to the development of an educational model that is responsive to social justice and diversity in Indonesia. Keywords: Abdurrahman Wahid, Human Rights, Humanistic Education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) mengenai pendidikan berbasis hak asasi manusia dalam kerangka humanisme Islam, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan dalam implementasinya dalam konteks pendidikan nasional. Pendekatan tinjauan literatur kualitatif digunakan, dengan data diperoleh melalui analisis karya-karya Gus Dur dan literatur akademik terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran Gus Dur menekankan pentingnya pendidikan inklusif dan demokratis yang didasarkan pada penghormatan terhadap keragaman. Tiga temuan utama diidentifikasi: kurangnya pemahaman nilai-nilai hak asasi manusia di kalangan guru, metode pengajaran konvensional yang meminimalkan partisipasi siswa, dan lingkungan sosial yang tidak mendukung semangat inklusi. Selain itu, strategi pembelajaran inklusif dan lingkungan pendidikan telah terbukti memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap nilai-nilai hak asasi manusia. Gus Dur menyatakan bahwa pendidikan adalah sarana untuk menghumanisasi manusia, bukan sekadar alat untuk mereproduksi pengetahuan. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan berbasis hak asasi manusia harus diwujudkan secara sistematis melalui reformasi kurikulum, pelatihan guru, dan kolaborasi antara sekolah dan masyarakat. Studi ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model pendidikan yang responsif terhadap keadilan sosial dan keragaman di Indonesia. Kata kunci: Abdurrahman Wahid, Hak Asasi Manusia, Pendidikan Humanis.

Abstract

Effective leadership in schools significantly impacts the quality of education, where the school principal plays a crucial role in establishing the vision, mission, and objectives. This study explores the application of transformational leadership at SMP Negeri 3 Baleedah and its impact on a positive work culture. Through a qualitative approach, data were collected from interviews, questionnaires, and documentation involving the principal and teachers. The findings indicate that the application of transformational leadership, such as building a clear vision and encouraging collaboration, successfully enhances motivation, work enthusiasm, and communication among teachers. However, challenges such as pressure to perform and uncertainty during changes persist. The results of this study are expected to provide insights for school principals and education managers in formulating better strategies to improve the work environment in schools and serve as a reference for developing leadership policies in other educational institutions.

Abstract

The quality of education is one of the key indicators of the success of educational institutions. However, in practice, many schools have yet to implement optimal management of their institutions, which impacts the quality of graduates that do not align with educational goals. This study aims to describe the implementation of management in improving the quality of education at SMP Mathlaul Anwar, Bandung Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation study. To ensure the validity of the collected data, a triangulation technique is employed. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The focus of this research includes planning, organizing, directing, and controlling, as well as the impact of management implementation on educational quality improvement. The results show that planning is conducted collaboratively through annual work meetings involving all school stakeholders; organizing is carried out through systematic and clear task distribution; directing is implemented through supervision and professional development of teachers; and controlling is done through regular evaluation of program implementation. These four management functions have proven to have a positive impact on improving educational quality, as reflected in increased teacher discipline, student learning outcomes, and parental involvement in school activities. The conclusion of this study indicates that structured and sustainable management implementation significantly influences the improvement of educational quality in schools.

Abstract

Pengelolaan Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) yang efektif dan akuntabel menjadi tantangan penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dasar. Permasalahan yang sering muncul di lapangan antara lain keterlambatan penyaluran dana, rendahnya literasi keuangan pengelola, serta belum optimalnya penggunaan dana sesuai kebutuhan prioritas sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas manajemen pembiayaan sekolah dalam penggunaan dana BOS di SDN Babakan Tanjung dengan menggunakan pendekatan POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan penggunaan dana BOS dilakukan secara partisipatif melalui penyusunan RKAS berbasis kebutuhan, namun masih menghadapi kendala pada pemahaman teknis. Pengorganisasian telah melibatkan pembagian tugas yang jelas dalam tim BOS, meskipun masih terbatas pada pelatihan teknis. Pelaksanaan kegiatan berjalan sesuai rencana namun terhambat oleh keterlambatan pencairan dana dan beban kerja guru. Pengawasan dilaksanakan secara internal dan eksternal, namun penggunaan teknologi informasi dan kompetensi SDM masih menjadi hambatan. Secara keseluruhan, efektivitas pengelolaan dana BOS sangat ditentukan oleh kapasitas manajerial sekolah dalam menerapkan prinsip POAC secara konsisten. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan pelatihan teknis, optimalisasi sistem digital, dan peningkatan kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

Keterbatasan sumber pendanaan sering menjadi tantangan utama dalam menjamin berkelanjutan dan mutu pendidikan di sekolah swasta. Inovasi pembiayaan berbasis kewirausahaan menjadi alternatif strategis untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi inovatif pembiayaan pendidikan melalui kegiatan kewirausahaan produksi Kangen Water di SMP Plus Al-Istiqomah, serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap kemandirian dan keberlanjutan pembiayaan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, kepada kepala sekolah, bendahara, komite sekolah, pengawas, dan Dinas Pendidikan, serta studi dokumentasi. Melalui siklus manajemen PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action), hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program kewirausahaan ini tidak hanya mampu menopang sebagian kebutuhan operasional sekolah, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter kewirausahaan siswa melalui keterlibatan langsung dalam kegiatan ekonomi yang edukatif. Kesimpulannya, inovasi pembiayaan berbasis kewirausahaan di SMP Plus Al-Istiqomah merupakan langkah strategis yang mendukung kemandirian finansial sekolah sekaligus menjadi sarana pendidikan karakter yang aplikatif.

Abstract

Performance-based education financing is a strategic approach to encourage improvements in the quality of education through fund allocation based on achievement of results. However, the implementation of this financing model still faces challenges in terms of planning, implementation, and reporting that are oriented towards performance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of performance-based education financing through the School Operational Assistance (BOS) Performance program at SDN Rancaekek 06, Bandung Regency. The approach used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that SDN Rancaekek 06 received BOS Performance in the category of Schools with the Best Progress, based on a significant increase in the Education Report Card score. Funds of Rp22,500,000 were used to support priority activities such as the development of digital learning media, teacher training, diagnostic assessments, and bullying prevention programs. The planning process was carried out in a participatory and data-based manner, implementation was monitored through an internal monitoring mechanism, and reporting was submitted accountably through the ARKAS system. The implementation of performance-based financing in this school has a positive impact on increasing the capacity of the BOS team, transparency of financial management, and changes in budgeting orientation from administrative to focusing on learning outcomes. This study recommends strengthening support systems, ongoing training, and adaptive policies to encourage successful implementation of performance-based financing at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang implementasi teknik perencanaan anggaran berbasis kinerja di SDN Tanjungbiru sebagai upaya peningkatan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan keuangan sekolah. Perencanaan anggaran berbasis kinerja merupakan suatu pendekatan yang membahas alokasi dana dengan hasil atau pencapaian kinerja yang diukur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SDN Tanjungbiru telah mulai mengimplementasikan perencanaan anggaran berbasis kinerja dengan menetapkan indikator kinerja utama yang sejalan dengan tujuan Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Sekolah (RKAS). Namun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa kendala dalam hal pemahaman teknis dan kapasitas sumber daya manusia dalam menyusun dan menyalurkan anggaran berbasis kinerja. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pelatihan dan pendampingan teknis bagi seluruh pemangku kepentingan agar implementasi perencanaan anggaran berbasis kinerja dapat berjalan optimal dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Masalah kesehatan mental pada remaja semakin meningkat seiring dengan tekanan sosial dan akademik di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendekatan spiritual dan psikologis dalam menjaga kesehatan mental remaja di SMK Jayabeka 01 Karawang. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap siswa, guru, kepala sekolah, serta orang tua, kemudian dianalisis dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan spiritual seperti shalat berjamaah, membaca Al-Qur’an, dzikir, dan doa bersama, serta layanan konseling memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kesejahteraan mental peserta didik. Sebanyak 92% siswa merasa lebih tenang dan 93% mengalami perubahan positif dalam kesehatan mental mereka. Pendekatan ini terbukti efektif membangun ketenangan batin, meningkatkan resiliensi emosional, dan memperkuat karakter religius remaja. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperluas pemahaman tentang integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dan psikologis dalam pendidikan, serta merekomendasikan penerapan program serupa di lembaga pendidikan lain.
