Abstract

The development of digital technology and the internet has driven significant changes in consumer behavior, requiring traditional markets to adapt to remain relevant and competitive with modern markets and e-commerce. The purpose of this study was to find a traditional market management model based on digital marketing that is suitable for the Rogowongso Pati traditional market. This study used a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 157 traders at Rogowongso Pati Market. The analysis used PLS-SEM through SmartPLS version 3. The results showed that the use of e-commerce and training and digital literacy had a positive and significant effect on the success of market management, while the use of social media had no significant effect. In addition, government support strengthened the relationship between the use of e-commerce and the success of market management, but weakened the relationship between social media use and did not moderate the relationship between training and digital literacy on the success of market management. These findings confirm that the success of traditional markets in the digital era is more determined by the ability of traders to utilize e-commerce technology and digital literacy than simply using social media. This study recommends that the government focus on improving the digital capacity of traders through ongoing training, strategic assistance in the use of social media, and the provision of secure online infrastructure and payment systems.

Abstract

Abstract

Competition in the automotive service industry has intensified, marked by the growing number of highly rated repair shops in Kudus Regency. As a newly established workshop in 2022, KingGarage Kudus faces challenges in building customer loyalty, as preliminary findings indicate low levels of repeat purchases and customer referrals. This study aims to examine the effects of service quality and brand image on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction serving as a mediating variable that strengthens relational outcomes. A quantitative research approach was employed, with data collected through a closed-ended questionnaire using a Likert scale to capture customer perceptions accurately. The sample consisted of KingGarage Kudus customers selected through purposive sampling based on predefined criteria related to service experience. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4, including outer model evaluation, inner model assessment, coefficient of determination (R²), and hypothesis testing to ensure robust statistical validation. The findings reveal that service quality and brand image have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between service quality, brand image, and customer loyalty, indicating its central role in loyalty formation. These results highlight the strategic importance of enhancing service quality and strengthening brand image to foster customer satisfaction and reinforce customer loyalty, thereby enabling automotive service providers to sustain their competitive advantage in a highly dynamic and competitive industry environment.

Abstract

This community service program aims to transform a mangrove conservation area into an attractive and sustainable ecotourism destination through a community empowerment approach. The main partner of this program is the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) of Tapak Village, Semarang City, which serves as a key actor in the management, development, and promotion of community-based mangrove ecotourism. The implementation methods consisted of field observations, focus group discussions (FGDs), training and counseling sessions, mentoring and hands-on practice, as well as evaluation and reflection. The assistance focused on developing structured ecotourism packages, strengthening digital marketing strategies, and improving service quality through the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Data were analyzed using descriptive and comparative approaches to assess changes before and after program implementation. The results indicate increased community knowledge and skills in managing and promoting mangrove ecotourism, the establishment of structured tourism packages, the creation of digital promotional content, and the initial implementation of tourism service SOPs. The program significantly enhanced the readiness of local managers to receive visitors and created opportunities to improve the economic prospects of the local community. Therefore, this initiative contributes to the development of a community-based mangrove ecotourism model that emphasizes environmental conservation and local economic empowerment.
