Abstract

This study's objective is to investigate the performance of a predictive model for students at risk of dropout (DO) by considering several internal criteria of an academic program. This research uses academic information from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and applies the C4.5, Naive Bayes Classification (NBC), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) to forecast which students might drop out. The data used consists of 714 student records from Department of Information Systems for the academic year 2010–2015 as training and 2018 as testing data. The research method refers to the SEMMA framework (Sample, Explore, Modify, Model, and Assess) to ensure systematic and accurate data processing. Meanwhile, the internal criteria used are the completed courses, the status of the internship report, and the final project proposal. According to the study's findings, the C4.5 and SVM algorithms get the best accuracy rates of 94.44%, while KNN and NBC come in second and third, respectively, with 93%. The results show that the C4.5 and SVM algorithms work well with academic data. This study provides a substantial contribution to the development of a prediction system for students at risk of dropping out, which can be integrated into data-based applications or dashboards. This solution is expected to help higher education institutions identify students who need further academic support. In addition, this research also opens up opportunities for the progress of more accurate forecasting models through the integration of additional variables such as behavioral or psychological data. With this data-driven approach, higher education institutions can enhance their efficiency in monitoring and preventing student dropouts, thereby supporting a vision of quality and sustainable education.

Abstract

Tourism has emerged as a key contributor to state revenue and has played a crucial role in national economic recovery following the Covid-19 pandemic, establishing itself as a new engine for the country’s economic growth. In response to this, the government—through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy—is actively promoting development in the tourism sector to enhance numerous tourist attractions in Indonesia, which are renowned for their beauty and recognized globally. However, the Ministry faces several challenges, including the need for technological advancements and the expansion of infrastructure. Addressing these needs will require substantial financial investment to optimize all tourism sites. This study aims to identify 22 tourist attractions across Indonesia using the Profile Matching method in Python programming, based on seven established criteria. The uniqueness about this study is that this research implemented  a simple Python script and the tourist attractions are spread across all regions of Indonesia. The results of the study highlight three tourist destinations that warrant government attention for optimization: Lake Maninjau, Rantepao, and Seminyak. To facilitate improvement, several areas require focus, including upgrading access roads, enhancing basic facilities, fostering community participation, developing human resources, and leveraging technology. The analysis using Python demonstrates that the software performs efficiently, processing 22 data points with seven criteria in a mere 0.06 seconds.

Abstract

Banyak produk yang dijual oleh perusahaan Souq.com. Perusahaan ini mengalami penumpukan di beberapa produknya karena terlalu banyak menyediakan produk yang kurang diminati oleh pelanggan, sehingga banyak produk yang tidak terjual. Perusahaan perlu melakukan pengelompokan untuk setiap produk untuk mengetahui barang mana yang paling diminati dan kurang diminati oleh pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan tiga kelompok cluster dengan kemiripan produknya agar dijadikan rekomendasi bagi manajemen perusahaan dalam merencanakan stok barang. Pada penelitian ditentukan 3 cluster dengan cluster 1 merupakan produk yang paling laris, cluster 2 produk yang laris dan yang cluster 3 produk yang kurang laris. Penelitian ini mengambil 5 kategori produk dengan masing-masing kategori ada 10 jenis produk. Hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan Ms. Excel menunjukkan bahwa cluster 1 mempunyai 18 anggota, untuk cluster 2 mempunyai 6 anggota dan cluster 3 mempunyai 26 anggota. Dari perhitungan dengan Rapidminer didapat bahwa anggota pada cluster 1 sebanyak 22 anggota, cluster 2 sebanyak 5 anggota dan cluster 3 sebanyak 23 anggota. Evaluasi cluster dengan DBI didapatkan hasil yang cukup baik dengan nilai 0,431. Pengukuran akurasi, recall dan precission hasil perhitungan Ms.Excel mendapatkan nilai masing-masing 62%, 67% dan 59%. Untuk perhitungan menggunakan Rapidminer mendapatkan nilai akurasi 64%, recall 81% dan precission 88%. Hasil perbandingan clustering membuktikan perhitungan menggunakan Rapidminer mendapatkan nilai yang accuracy, recall dan precission yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Tingginya perkembangan teknologi informasi, sejalan dengan tingginya terobosan yang dapat dilakukan bagi masyarakat. E-commerce menjadi salah satu contoh teknologi yang sudah berkembang dan banyak membantu masyarakat hingga saat ini. Pelaku UMKM banyak yang sudah beralih menggunakan e-commerce sebagai media penjualan namun dalam penerapannya masih memiliki hambatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi hambatan sosial budaya dan organisasi bagi pelaku UMKM Tangerang Selatan dengan menggunakan framework hambatan adopsi e commerce Zaied. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas untuk keseluruhan item yang diajukan menunjukkan hasil yang valid. Kemudian hasil uji reliabilitas untuk mengetahui konsistensi jawaban dari responden mendapatkan nilai 0,830 dengan kata lain memiliki nilai yang reliabel. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa adanya hambatan pada nilai, keyakinan, pelaku UMKM dalam menerapkan e-commerce dengan angka sebesar 58% pada sosial & budaya. Hambatan lainnya pada organisasi mengenai kurangnya dukungan manajemen dan memilki keterbatasan akses informasi dengan angka sebesar 63% dalam menerapkan e-commerce sebagai media penjualan.

Abstract

Perdagangan elektronik berbasis individu (C2C e-commerce) meningkat secara signifikan, di mana keberhasilan sistem informasi dipengaruhi faktor dan kondisi seperti keyakinan, sikap dan perilaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji empiris faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan sistem informasi C2C e-commerce dengan model integrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan random sampling pada individu pengguna website Kaskus. Adapun pengumpulan data dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara online. Model usulan pengukuran yang digunakan adalah integrasi model keberhasilan sistem informasi DeLone & McLean, dengan penambahan variabel trust dan loyalty dengan 11 hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 8 hipotesis terbukti signifikan dan 3 hipotesis tidak signifikan (kualitas sistem terhadap kepercayaan, kualitas informasi terhadap kepuasan, dan kualitas layanan terhadap kepercayaan), dimana uji path coefficient di bawah 0,1. Integrasi model keberhasilan penerapan SI DeLone and McLean, kepercayaan, dan loyalitas dapat menjadi model acuan yang layak digunakan sebagai kerangka pengukuran penggunaan suatu sistem berbasis teknologi seperti perdagangan elektronik.

Abstract

Due to its advantageous location on the border of Jakarta and Tangerang, Tangerang Selatan is a highly developed city. In this instance, the Tangerang Selatan Department of Culture and Tourism (Dispar Tangsel) is required to use the application to assist the general public in realizing the availability of information in the Tangerang Selatan area. Twenty to twenty-five restaurants submit applications each year to the Dispar Tangsel Tourism Business Registry (TDUP). Dispar Tangsel must choose and decide on TDUP licensing priorities from among TDUP requests in order to open a restaurant. The purpose of the research is to offer recommendations to the community on food choices. Rapid application development (RAD) was used in the system's development. Additionally, the collaborative filtering technique has been employed by the decision support system to determine the amount of criteria or weight for restaurants using the weighted sum algorithm and for restaurants using cosine-based similarity algorithms. Additionally, the system design tool made use of MySQL as a database, PHP, the Codeigniter framework, and the unified modeling language (UML). The result demonstrates that the system is capable of displaying the output in accordance with the user's expectations during black box testing, which evaluates the functionality of the system based on the specifications. Collaborative filtering in SISRES can yield a significant improvement in recommendation accuracy. By collectively analyzing user preferences and behaviors, the algorithm can provide more relevant and personalized recommendations.
