Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of an Android-based instructional media, Tawaf Edu, for teaching Hajj and Umrah materials in Fiqh learning at Madrasah Aliyah. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE model, which encompasses the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. This study collected data through classroom observations, interviews, expert validation, and student trials involving small and large groups. Media experts, content experts, and students assessed the feasibility of the media using validated evaluation instruments. The results indicate that Tawaf Edu achieved high feasibility ratings from media experts (91%) and content experts (94%), categorized as highly feasible. Student trials also demonstrated positive responses, with feasibility scores of 85% in the small-group trial and 84% in the large-group trial. The integration of interactive ritual simulations, audio-visual explanations, and formative assessment features supports students' conceptual and procedural understanding of Hajj and Umrah practices. These findings suggest that Tawaf Edu is a pedagogically appropriate instructional medium for Fiqh learning in Madrasah Aliyah and can serve as a practical reference for the development of multimedia-based religious education media.

Abstract

Implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan (SIM-P) pada lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini menjadi kebutuhan penting untuk mempercepat proses administrasi dan meningkatkan ketepatan pengelolaan data. Jurnal ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bagaimana SIM-P sederhana diterapkan dalam administrasi di RA PSM Tanjunganom berdasarkan pengalaman magang mahasiswa Program Studi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara informal, dokumentasi dan keterlibatan langsung dalam kegiatan administrasi selama dua bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RA PSM Tanjunganom telah memulai penerapan SIM-P sederhana melalui pengarsipan digital, penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis komputer, pengelolaan data siswa, serta dokumentasi kegiatan menggunakan perangkat digital. Meskipun belum sepenuhnya terintegrasi, implementasi SIM-P terbukti membantu efektivitas kerja guru dalam menyusun laporan dan mengelola arsip. Artikel ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan literasi digital, perangkat teknologi, serta sistem penyimpanan data yang lebih terstruktur untuk mendukung penguatan administrasi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract

Technological development is advancing at a very rapid pace. This progress affects various aspects of life, including the field of Islamic education. Islamic Boarding School Islamic Boarding School Mihrob Maryam Garum is an institution based on Qur’an memorization (tahfidz), which enforces very strict rules prohibiting the use of gadgets to maintain the retention of Qur’anic memorization. However, a serious challenge arises when students complete their education and return to a society that is fully digitalized. They are faced with the need to adapt to technology while preserving the values of the Islamic Boarding School amid the overwhelming flow of information. This study aims to describe the forms of adaptation of tahfidz students to the digital era through the lens of the Islamic education paradigm. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data obtained through observations and interviews with the students and caretakers of the Islamic Boarding School. The findings show that tahfidz students are able to adapt selectively to the digital world by applying the values instilled during their time in the Islamic Boarding School, such as discipline, responsibility, and sincerity. The Islamic education paradigm serves as the foundation for shaping the students’ character so that they can utilize technology as a means of da’wah (religious propagation) and reinforcement of memorization, rather than merely for entertainment.

Abstract

The integration of faith and piety (IMTAK) and science and technology (IPTEK) is important to implement in education to form a complete human being (insan kamil). The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of integration of IMTAK and IPTEK at SMK Maarif NU Mantup, describe the impact of IMTAK and IPTEK integration at SMK Maarif NU Mantup in shaping insan kamil, and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of IMTAK and IPTEK integration. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type, which is to describe phenomena that occur in the field. The results of this study are: 1) The integration of IMTAK (faith and piety) and IPTEK (science and technology) at SMK Maarif NU Mantup is manifested by balancing the skills gained from each student's major with religious activities such as reading prayers together before class, performing Dhuha prayer, reading short surahs, congregational Dhuhr prayer, cultum (short religious lectures), special subjects, utilizing technology in religious lessons, and assessing both skills and religious abilities. 2) The impact felt in shaping a perfect human character includes changes in work skills and religious attitudes, such as discipline, good manners, devotion to worship, and control over gadget usage. 3) Supporting factors include the students' innate talents that make it easier for teachers to guide them, cooperation among teachers, and school policies, while hindering factors include student interactions that cannot be supervised by teachers and the lack of involvement of some parents in monitoring their children.   Keywords: Faith and Piety, Insan Kamil, Science and Technology

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat tata kelola data pendidikan berbasis Education Management Information System (EMIS) di MTsN 1 Tulungagung, mengingat masih adanya kendala seperti keterlambatan input data, kesalahan pengisian identitas, serta kesulitan validasi dan sinkronisasi ke pusat. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan dilakukan koordinasi dengan pihak madrasah untuk memetakan kebutuhan dan permasalahan utama, tahap pelaksanaan berfokus pada sosialisasi peran strategis EMIS, praktik langsung input data riil, serta pendampingan teknis validasi dan sinkronisasi, sedangkan tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui diskusi terbuka dan kuesioner sederhana untuk menilai pemahaman, keterampilan, serta kepercayaan diri peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan operator dan staf tata usaha dalam mengelola EMIS. Peserta merasa terbantu terutama pada proses validasi NISN dan data Dukcapil yang sebelumnya sering menimbulkan kendala, sementara peran staf tata usaha terbukti penting dalam menyiapkan dokumen resmi sebagai acuan input data sehingga kolaborasi antara operator dan staf TU mempercepat proses validasi serta meminimalisasi kesalahan. Evaluasi juga mengungkap perlunya pendampingan berkelanjutan dan koordinasi lintas lembaga, khususnya dengan Dukcapil, agar sinkronisasi data berjalan lebih lancar. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan solusi teknis, tetapi juga membangun kesadaran peserta tentang pentingnya budaya data dalam mendukung tata kelola pendidikan. Rekomendasi yang diajukan adalah perlunya pelatihan berkala, penguatan kapasitas staf tata usaha, serta tindak lanjut pendampingan agar kualitas data pendidikan di madrasah semakin valid dan akuntabel.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) program was motivated by the urgent need to address the challenges of managing educational institutions, which are still dominated by manual and semi-digital systems at MI Plus Walisongo Trenggalek, resulting in time inefficiency, difficulty in accessing data, and potential accountability issues. The main objective of this activity is to implement and assist in the management of a website-based Management Information System (MIS) to transform administrative workflows into an integrated, efficient, and data-driven decision-making system. The methods used were the System Development Approach and Participatory Assistance, including stages of partner needs analysis, MIS module design and development (covering master data, academic, attendance, and reporting modules), intensive user training (staff and teachers), and continuous monitoring and evaluation. The results of the Community Service Program show that the website-based SIM has been successfully implemented and is operating well. This achievement is supported by a significant increase in the competence of madrasah human resources, where the level of system mastery after training has had a very positive impact. Managerially, the implementation of the SIM has successfully reduced data processing and recapitulation report generation time, enabling madrasah management to monitor student data in real-time and make faster, more accurate, and data-driven decisions. It is concluded that the effective implementation of website-based SIM management can transform the administration of MI Plus Walisongo into an efficient, structured, and accountable digital system, which ultimately contributes to improving the quality of educational institutions' services. ABSTRAK Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh urgensi untuk mengatasi tantangan pengelolaan administrasi lembaga pendidikan yang masih didominasi oleh sistem manual dan semi-digital di MI Plus Walisongo Trenggalek, yang berdampak pada inefisiensi waktu, kesulitan akses data, dan potensi masalah akuntabilitas. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah mengimplementasikan dan mendampingi pengelolaan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) berbasis website guna mentransformasi alur kerja administrasi menjadi sistem digital yang terpadu, efisien, dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Metode yang digunakan adalah Pendekatan Pengembangan Sistem dan Pendampingan Partisipatif, meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan mitra, perancangan dan pengembangan modul SIM (mencakup modul data induk, akademik, kehadiran, dan pelaporan), pelatihan intensif pengguna (staf dan guru), serta monitoring dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Hasil PkM menunjukkan bahwa SIM berbasis website berhasil diimplementasikan dan dioperasikan dengan baik. Capaian ini didukung oleh peningkatan signifikan kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) madrasah, di mana tingkat penguasaan sistem pasca-pelatihan sangat berdampak baik. Secara manajerial, implementasi SIM berhasil memangkas waktu pemrosesan data dan pembuatan laporan rekapitulasi, memungkinkan manajemen madrasah untuk memantau data siswa secara real-time dan melakukan pengambilan keputusan yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan didasarkan pada data yang valid. Disimpulkan bahwa implementasi pengelolaan SIM berbasis website secara efektif mampu mentransformasi administrasi MI Plus Walisongo menuju sistem digital yang efisien, terstruktur, dan akuntabel, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas layanan lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

The rapid changes brought about by globalization and the growing demand for sustainability have posed complex challenges for Islamic educational institutions, making the integration of Islamic values into human resource management highly relevant. Many Islamic educational institutions still manage their human resources in an administrative manner without considering spiritual and moral dimensions, creating a gap between the ideal vision of Islamic education and pragmatic managerial practices. This study aims to analyze the transformation of human resource planning based on Islamic values as a strategic starting point for school principals in realizing all functions of educational administration oriented toward sustainable Islamic educational quality. This research employs a qualitative library research approach involving content analysis of primary and secondary literature and cross-source triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The results indicate that the transformation of human resource planning based on Islamic values includes the integration of five core values—amanah (trustworthiness), itqan (professional excellence), ihsan (benevolence), syura (consultation), and adil (justice)—throughout all planning processes, from needs analysis, recruitment, and training to evaluation. This integration transforms human resource policies into instruments for character building and spiritual development. The approach produces educators who are not only professionally competent but also possess high integrity and strong institutional loyalty. Thus, this transformation is identified as a strategic effort to enhance the sustainable quality of Islamic education, where educational quality is measured not only by academic achievement but also by the institution’s success in developing insan kamil—individuals who are knowledgeable, virtuous, and committed to the welfare of the ummah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of moderate Islamic education practices and their implications for the formation of students' religious character at SMP PSM Tanen Rejotangan Tulungagung. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that moderate Islamic education practices are implemented through habituation of worship such as congregational Dhuha and Dhuhur prayers, Friday Legi recitation, teacher role models, and life-story-based learning to instill the values ​​of tolerance and non-judgmental attitudes towards differences. Supporting factors for religious character formation include a religious school culture, teacher support, and a conducive social environment, while the main obstacles come from students' low understanding of the concept of moderation and the influence of digital technology. The implications of implementing moderate Islamic education are seen in increased religious discipline, growing attitudes of tolerance, the formation of positive social behavior, and strengthening students' religious identity. Thus, moderate Islamic education has proven to be an effective approach in forming a religious character that is inclusive, balanced, and adaptive to diversity.
