Abstract

Millimeter Wave (mmWave) is a solution to overcome of frequency limitations in 5G technology implementations using high frequency domain. This research discusses about mmWave frequency selection for 5G technology using empirical models in indoor propagation model. Several MmWave frequencies are simulated on indoor office environment. Based on simulation with InH placed in each room 5x5 meter size, it will be more effective using 60GHz, compared to 38Ghz, 28GHz, and 5GHz and also unlicenced 2.4. The average SIR will better at mmWave frequencies in the 60GHz with 33.97 dB and the average received signal is -73.87 dBm. Overall, it can also be concluded that the InH device with low frequency is not suitable applied indoors with massive deployement, it can be interference, for exampe using unlicenced 2.4GHz and 5GHz, receiver only gets average SIR of approximately 5dB. Abstract

This study evaluates the types of regulation models for The Indonesia Spectrum Usage Fee—the so-called Biaya Hak Pengguna (BHP) Frequency in 5G private network technology that are most suitable for implementation in Indonesia by implementing the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) method. This method accommodates the opinions of telecommunications experts from mobile network operators (MNOs), regulators, vertical industries, and telecommunications consultants through a series of scientific steps to produce weights for each type of alternative solution offered. The results obtained show that the proposed model most suitable for implementation in Indonesia, taking into account the given criteria, is the one that uses unlicensed 5G frequencies. This model involves vertical industries not using licensed frequencies established by the government but rather choosing to use unlicensed frequencies to develop 5G technology for their own use. The implementation of this model is expected to encourage the optimization of regulation for Spectrum Usage Fee in 5G private network technology owned by the government, providing opportunities for vertical industries to develop 5G technology on private networks independently without relying on existing MNOs. This can stimulate innovation and technological progress in Indonesia to support Industry 4.0.

Abstract

In doing microwave transmission interference and attenuation effects , not so much propagation Line Of Sight. Therefore it takes a computation and checking of a transmission network that values ??of interference does not greatly effect the availability value is supposed to be, there are several ways to avoid or even eliminate interference case is to replace the sub-band and change the polarization of the antenna system microwae. On the transmission network owned by Axiata PT.XL Banten there is a case of interference, namely the link Panimbang Hop-Labuan-Cigeulis due to using the same frequency and the same sub-band. RF Scanning seen from the results that the link is indeed indicated interference. Therefore, by using software pathloss 5.0 will be able to do an analysis of a link or network terinterferensi. so as to reduce and resolve a case interference occurs, and the value of a link availability can be well worth it. Optimization is done there will be a change of the ODU or replace the antenna polarization between vertical or horizontal. Optimization to do is replacing frequency channel that was using 1h (high) - 1l (low) the frequency is 7747.70 MHz-8059, 02 MHz, to frequency channel 3h (high) - 3l (low) the frequency is 7807.00 MHz-8118.32 MH. By doing this method interference value will be lost. Then after the optimization of the value of availability to 99.99993%.

Abstract

The 5G technology is a telecommunications innovation that offers incredibly high-speed data transfer. It is expected to outperform its predecessors significantly. In utilizing 5G services, efficient devices are crucial, and solutions like Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems play a key role. MIMO is an antenna system with numerous transmitting and receiving elements, enabling simultaneous transmission and reception. A 26 GHz frequency microstrip antenna is modified using a double U-slot, and the Defected Ground Structure (DGS) method is employed to reduce antenna coupling effects and enhance bandwidth. This antenna features a directional radiation pattern that focuses in a specific direction, thereby increasing efficiency. Prior to optimization, the return loss was at around -14.15 dB, VSWR was approximately 1.49 dB, and bandwidth was 0.65 GHz. After optimization, the return loss improved to between -27.06 and -28.09 dB, signifying performance enhancement. Despite a slight increase in VSWR to 1.08 to 1.09 dB, it remains within acceptable limits. The bandwidth increased to 1.06 to 1.13 GHz. These results indicate that optimization successfully boosted antenna performance, resulting in higher data transfer efficiency. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the telecommunications landscape with faster and more reliable services through advanced 5G networks.
