<![CDATA[The development of information and communication technology has led to major disruption in the mass media industry. Digitalization has not only changed the way information is produced and distributed, but also influenced the organizational structure, business model, and overall media management strategy. This study aims to analyze the forms of mass media management transformation in responding to changes in the modern communication landscape. Using a qualitative approach and case study method in two mass media in Indonesia, data was obtained through literature studies and observations. The results of the study indicate that the mass media are restructuring their organizations by forming digital divisions, implementing revenue diversification strategies, and utilizing digital technology in content production and distribution. In addition, it was also found that the media faces serious challenges such as the digital competency gap, algorithmic pressure, and ethical dilemmas related to journalistic professionalism. This transformation requires media management to be adaptive, data-based, and to maintain the principles of journalistic ethics in the decision-making process. This study contributes to the development of media management theory and offers practical recommendations for industry players in facing the increasingly complex digital communication ecosystem.]]>

<![CDATA[Student organizations are an important forum for students to develop themselves and contribute to society. The performance of student organizations is highly dependent on the quality of internal and external communication. Effective interpersonal communication can build strong relationships between members, increase collaboration, and encourage the achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the role of interpersonal communication in improving the performance of student organizations. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data sources were obtained from various scientific articles and books related to interpersonal communication and student organizations. The source of article data is the database on Google Scholar. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results of the analysis show that students' activeness in organizations is positively related to their interpersonal communication skills, which in turn can strengthen social networks and create an inclusive environment. Through organizational experiences, students not only learn to communicate verbally, but also develop the nonverbal and digital skills required in the modern era. Good interpersonal communication can increase student participation in campus activities, strengthen collaboration, and resolve conflicts more effectively]]>

<![CDATA[Regional languages play a strategic role as markers of cultural identity that reflect the characteristics, values, and heritage of a community. This article examines the role of regional languages in maintaining cultural identity in the midst of modernization and globalization that tends to erode linguistic diversity. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique uses interviews. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the data analysis found that regional languages are not only a means of communication, but also a symbol of pride and social solidarity. Regional languages contain unique expressions of traditions, customs, and life philosophies of each community group. However, social changes and the influence of national and global language dominance have led to a decrease in the use of regional languages in many regions. For this reason, efforts to preserve regional languages through formal education, cultural revitalization, and digital media are important in maintaining cultural identity in the modern era. <![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the influence of social media and social environment on the hedonistic lifestyle among contemporary adolescents. A hedonistic lifestyle, which prioritizes the pursuit of personal pleasure and material satisfaction, has become increasingly prevalent among adolescents with the rapid development of technology, especially social media. This research employs a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews and case studies involving adolescents who are active social media users in several major cities in Indonesia. The results indicate that social media plays a significant role in shaping ideal life standards that emphasize luxury, social status, and instant gratification, which influences adolescents to pursue similar lifestyles. Additionally, the social environment, particularly family and peer groups, further strengthens adolescents' desire to gain recognition and social status through a consumerist lifestyle. The study also finds that although a hedonistic lifestyle provides momentary satisfaction, its long-term effects can be detrimental both psychologically and financially, and can worsen self-image and emotional well-being among adolescents. Therefore, it is important to provide more comprehensive education to adolescents on the wise use of social media and support the development of healthier life values within family and school environments.]]>

<![CDATA[Transformasi sistem pers dari era kolonial menuju era modern merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam perubahan sosial yang terjadi di Indonesia. Sejarah perkembangan pers di Indonesia tidak hanya mencatat bagaimana media berkembang dalam menyampaikan informasi, tetapi juga bagaimana media berfungsi sebagai alat perjuangan dalam mengubah struktur sosial dan politik masyarakat. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengkaji peran media dalam perubahan sosial selama transisi dari masa kolonial ke pasca-kolonial. Dengan memanfaatkan analisis historis dan studi literatur, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa media tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana komunikasi, tetapi juga berperan sebagai agen perubahan yang menggerakkan transformasi sosial di Indonesia. Proses ini melibatkan pergeseran dari media yang dikontrol kolonial menuju media yang lebih bebas, demokratis, dan berfungsi sebagai alat kritik terhadap pemerintah serta pembentukan identitas sosial dan politik masyarakat Indonesia yang lebih inklusif.]]>

<![CDATA[This article uses qualitative research with a content study approach to analyze the characteristics of the TVRI North Sumatra broadcast media and its role in forming and strengthening unity in Medan, North Sumatra. This study aims to explore information about programs, news, and the social impact of content broadcasted by TVRI Medan. The data collection techniques used in this study were content analysis and in-depth interviews with TVRI Medan personnel. Content analysis was used to examine the various types of programs broadcasted, as well as to assess the diversity and quality of information provided. In-depth interviews were conducted to gain deeper insight from TVRI Medan staff and personnel regarding the program creation process and its impact on viewers. The data analysis technique used was thematic analysis, which focused on identifying the main themes in the broadcast content, and how these themes can influence viewers and play a role in strengthening unity and togetherness in the North Sumatra community. Data obtained from content analysis and interviews were analyzed to find the relationship between broadcast programs, local cultural diversity, and their impact on public perception. The results of the study indicate that TVRI Medan plays a significant role in promoting local culture, as well as acting as a means to strengthen unity in society through the delivery of information and entertainment]]>

<![CDATA[The role of teacher communication in resolving interpersonal conflicts between students is an important aspect in creating a harmonious and conducive school environment for the learning process. Conflicts between students often occur at school, either due to differences of opinion, behavior, or social competition. In this case, teachers function as mediators who not only identify the source of the conflict, but also manage and resolve the conflict through effective communication. This study aims to examine the role of teacher communication in resolving interpersonal conflicts between students and how the communication approach used can affect the conflict resolution process. The method used in this study is library research. The results of the study show that open, empathetic, and constructive communication from teachers can help students understand their respective perspectives and find adequate solutions. In addition, the teacher's ability to listen, give positive feedback, and use appropriate mediation techniques has proven to be effective in relieving tension and reducing the possibility of recurrence of conflicts in the future. This study concludes that good and structured communication from teachers is very important in maintaining relationships between students and supporting the creation of a more harmonious learning atmosphere in schools.]]>

As is known, currently technological advances are developing very quickly so that the world of education must also follow the development of this technological progress. This era has entered the next era known as generation Z (gen Z), where this generation tends to be more accustomed to using internet technology and is proficient in using it in everyday life, in fact technology and the internet cannot be separated from the lives of generation Z. <![CDATA[Layanan cyber konseling telah menjadi solusi inovatif dalam dunia konseling, terutama di era digital saat ini. Layanan ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterampilan komunikasi online yang dimiliki oleh konselor maupun klien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran keterampilan komunikasi online dalam meningkatkan kualitas interaksi dan keberhasilan layanan cyber konseling. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan studi kasus pada platform konseling digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan komunikasi online yang efektif, seperti kemampuan menyampaikan pesan dengan jelas, empati digital, penerimaan, pengulangan pernyataan sangat berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan klien, kenyamanan dalam berbagi masalah, dan keberhasilan konseling. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan keterampilan komunikasi online bagi konselor untuk memastikan layanan cyber konseling dapat memenuhi kebutuhan klien secara maksimal. Dengan komunikasi yang efektif, hubungan konselor dan klien dapat tetap erat meskipun tidak bertatap muka secara langsung. Temuan ini relevan untuk pengembangan praktik konseling di era digital, sekaligus memberikan panduan bagi institusi pendidikan dan pelatihan konselor.]]>

<![CDATA[Internet users are growing rapidly due to advances in information and communication technology Almost all people in the world use the internet in their daily lives. The increasing development of technology also influences the provision of guidance and counseling services, especially in schools. In this era of globalization, online counseling or cyber counseling services are really needed by counselorsor counseling guidance teachers because they can provide services without being limited by distance and time. This research aims to discuss the application of cyber counseling in schools. This research uses a literature review method or literature study in the form of journal articles. The research results show that cyber counseling services are considered effective because they can make it easy for counselors and students to carry out counseling that is not limited by distance and time. Several methods are used to carryout online counseling, including: via email, Facebook, asynchronous chat, Riliv application, video conference, cellphone and website. Counseling guidance teachers and counselors are expected to continue to improve their abilities in using information and communication technology. ]]>
