Abstract

Interpersonal communication strategies have an important role in building harmonious relationships between teachers and students in the educational environment. This research aims to analyze how interpersonal communication strategies are applied by teachers to create positive relationships, support the learning process, and increase student engagement. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews and literature study. The research results show that openness, empathy, supportive attitudes, respect, and positive attitudes are key elements in interpersonal communication between teachers and students. This strategy is able to build trust, increase learning motivation, and create a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi komunikasi interpersonal guru dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah library research dengan analisis terhadap berbagai literatur yang relevan. Penelitian ini dibagi ke dalam beberapa sub-bab pembahasan utama. Pertama, konsep dasar komunikasi interpersonal dibahas sebagai fondasi untuk memahami pentingnya interaksi yang efektif antara guru dan siswa. Kedua, strategi komunikasi interpersonal guru, seperti empati, kejelasan pesan, dan pendekatan personal, diidentifikasi sebagai upaya utama untuk menciptakan hubungan yang harmonis. Ketiga, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan komunikasi interpersonal guru, meliputi kompetensi komunikasi, karakteristik siswa, dan lingkungan belajar, dianalisis secara mendalam. Keempat, hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan minat belajar siswa diuraikan, menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang positif dan efektif dapat memotivasi siswa untuk lebih terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Kelima, hambatan dalam komunikasi interpersonal guru, seperti perbedaan persepsi dan kurangnya keterampilan komunikasi, serta solusi untuk mengatasinya, seperti pelatihan guru dan penggunaan teknologi, juga disoroti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif merupakan kunci dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Guru perlu terus mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi mereka untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the role of cyber counseling in improving guidance and counseling services, especially among adolescents, by utilizing advances in internet technology. Cyber ​​counseling (eCounseling) is a form of professional counseling service that is carried out through electronic media such as text messages, email, or video calls. Along with the development of technology, counseling services are no longer limited to face-to-face interactions, but can be done virtually, providing flexibility of time and place for clients and counselors. Physical distance is no longer an obstacle in the counseling process, making it more accessible, especially for individuals who cannot or do not want to meet counselors directly. This study examines various models of cyber counseling services, including website-based, email, and video conferencing, and their impact on increasing student self-disclosure. This study shows that cyber counseling can increase students' levels of self-disclosure by providing a safe and comfortable space to express problems without shame or anxiety. Therefore, cyber counseling services are very relevant for adolescents who need emotional support, especially in the context of psychological development that occurs during the transition to adulthood. Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of digital media in the development of cyber counseling services, especially through the use of WhatsApp video calls, in increasing student self-disclosure during group counseling. The method used is a literature study, which is a systematic process of collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and synthesizing various written sources such as books, scientific journals, articles, and credible online publications. Through this approach, researchers build a strong theoretical foundation and understand the latest trends and findings related to the topic being studied. The results of the study show that digital media provides easy access, time flexibility, and allows the integration of advanced technology into counseling practices. However, challenges such as ethical issues, data security, and limitations of non-verbal interaction are still obstacles that need to be overcome. On the other hand, great opportunities are open through increasing digital literacy, innovation in therapy methods, and widespread mental health awareness campaigns. With the right approach, digital media-based cyber counseling services can be an effective and inclusive solution to meet the mental health needs of the community in the digital era. Abstract

Transformasi digital telah mengubah secara fundamental lanskap praktik jurnalistik, menciptakan peluang distribusi informasi yang lebih cepat dan luas, namun juga melahirkan tantangan etika yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam dinamika penerapan etika jurnalistik dalam era digital, dengan menyoroti bentuk-bentuk pelanggaran, faktor penyebab struktural dan kultural, serta solusi strategis yang dapat diimplementasikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur deskriptif-kualitatif terhadap 20 referensi ilmiah nasional yang terindeks dan relevan dengan isu etika jurnalistik digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelanggaran etika jurnalistik di era digital tidak hanya berkutat pada aspek teknis individu, melainkan merupakan hasil dari interaksi antara tekanan algoritmik media sosial, logika ekonomi media, lemahnya regulasi digital, dan rendahnya literasi masyarakat. Bentuk pelanggaran yang dominan mencakup disinformasi, praktik clickbait, defamasi daring, eksploitasi privasi, serta erosi nilai profesionalisme. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pendekatan solusi holistik yang terdiri dari: (1) pendidikan jurnalistik berbasis etika dan kompetensi, (2) reformulasi regulasi media digital yang adaptif, dan (3) pemanfaatan teknologi verifikasi berbasis kecerdasan artifisial. Penelitian ini menawarkan kontribusi baru melalui pemetaan integratif antara pelanggaran, sebab, dan solusi, serta menekankan pentingnya pendekatan etika yang tidak hanya normatif tetapi juga struktural, kultural, dan teknologis. Dengan demikian, studi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan konseptual dan praktis dalam memperkuat integritas profesi jurnalistik di tengah disrupsi digital yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ketimpangan sosial ekonomi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa serta implikasinya dalam pelayanan bimbingan konseling di sekolah. Ketimpangan sosial ekonomi (SES) merupakan salah satu faktor eksternal yang paling menentukan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar siswa, melalui aspek ekonomi, modal kultural, dukungan psikososial, dan keterlibatan keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menelaah sepuluh jurnal nasional terakreditasi dan publikasi ilmiah terkait yang terbit antara tahun 2018–2025. Data dianalisis secara tematik-komparatif untuk meninjau kesamaan pola temuan empiris pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa SES berpengaruh signifikan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Faktor ekonomi menentukan ketersediaan fasilitas belajar, sementara modal kultural khususnya pendidikan orang tua membentuk habitus akademik anak. Selain itu, motivasi belajar, efikasi diri, serta dukungan emosional dari keluarga dan guru terbukti menjadi mediator penting dalam hubungan SES dan prestasi. Keterlibatan orang tua, akses terhadap les tambahan, persepsi guru, serta kesiapan digital pascapandemi turut memperkuat atau memperlemah capaian siswa. Dalam konteks bimbingan konseling, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya intervensi yang bersifat afirmatif, holistik, dan responsif terhadap keragaman latar belakang siswa, melalui penguatan motivasi, dukungan keluarga, kolaborasi konselor-guru, dan penyediaan layanan belajar tambahan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menekankan bahwa upaya mengurangi kesenjangan prestasi menuntut peran strategis konselor sekolah dalam menciptakan layanan pendidikan yang lebih inklusif dan berkeadilan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan dalam mendorong mobilitas sosial serta mengkaji bagaimana layanan Bimbingan Konseling (BK) dapat berfungsi sebagai intervensi strategis untuk mengatasi ketimpangan sosial ekonomi peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research), melalui analisis terhadap enam jurnal relevan, buku akademik, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan nasional. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap mobilitas sosial melalui peningkatan akses pekerjaan, pendapatan, dan partisipasi sosial. Namun, berbagai hambatan struktural masih menghambat fungsi pendidikan sebagai alat mobilitas, termasuk ketimpangan ekonomi, disparitas geografis, perbedaan modal budaya, serta kesenjangan kualitas pendidikan. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa layanan BK berperan penting dalam memberikan asesmen psikologis, konseling individual/kelompok, pendampingan akademik, manajemen stres, advokasi akses beasiswa, dan perencanaan karier bagi peserta didik dari keluarga kurang mampu. Layanan BK juga berfungsi menjembatani siswa dengan berbagai kebijakan pemerintah seperti KIP, BOS, Wajib Belajar 12 Tahun, dan Merdeka Belajar. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi antara pendidikan yang berkualitas, kebijakan publik yang inklusif, serta layanan BK yang profesional merupakan kunci untuk mendorong mobilitas sosial yang lebih adil dan merata di Indonesia.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication plays a crucial role in building trust, collective identity, and a positive organizational culture. In organizations, trust serves as the primary foundation for creating a productive work environment, while collective identity and organizational culture shape internal direction and stability. This study aims to analyze the role of interpersonal communication in supporting these three elements. The research adopts a literature review method by examining various sources, including books, scholarly journals, and other relevant documents. The findings reveal that open, transparent, and effective interpersonal communication strengthens mutual trust, facilitates the formation of collective identity through social interactions, and fosters a harmonious organizational culture. Furthermore, interpersonal communication proves to be key in resolving conflicts constructively. This study highlights the importance of effective communication strategies to enhance interpersonal relationships within organizations and achieve shared goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze public sentiment towards rapper Azealia Banks' controversial statement calling Indonesia the "world's trash can" via her social media account X (@azealiaslacewig). This issue has caused various reactions from Indonesian people, especially social media users, which are reflected through comments, retweets, and replies that are spread massively. Using a sentiment analysis method based on qualitative and quantitative approaches, 500 tweets were collected and classified into three main categories: positive, negative, and neutral. The results showed that the majority of public responses were negative (72.4%), followed by neutral sentiment (19.2%) and positive (8.4%). Further analysis revealed that the high negative response was driven by a strong sense of digital nationalism and perceptions of insults to national identity. On the other hand, a small number of users showed positive or neutral responses by making the statement a reflection of environmental conditions and national waste management. These findings indicate that social media is an important arena for expressing collective emotions and attitudes towards global issues concerning national identity

Abstract

This study aims to analyse how religious identity is used as a political branding strategy in the 2024 North Sumatra gubernatorial election, and the communicative and social implications of this practice in the digital space. Using a qualitative content analysis, this study examined the official accounts of candidate pairs, digital volunteers, political influencers, and public conversations across various forms, including images, campaign videos, captions, tweets, comments, and hashtags. The results of the study show that religion-based identity politics is the dominant strategy in social media. Candidates and campaign teams actively utilise religious symbols, narratives, and figures to build a religious, trustworthy, and moral image. The endorsement of religious figures through digital testimonials strengthens the candidate's moral legitimacy, while religion-based content is disseminated not only top-down by official accounts but also horizontally through supportive communities and anonymous accounts. Religious content has been shown to have higher digital engagement than neutral content; however, it has also led to polarisation in the commentary space over the legitimacy of using religious symbols in politics.
