Abstract

There is a need for an aqidah akhlak education curriculum that can shape the character of istiqamah students at the elementary school level as a basic foundation for good character building. Thus, this research seeks to explore: (1) How is the concept of aqidah akhlak education curriculum in shaping the istiqamah character of elementary school students at the stage of learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation? (2) How is implementing the aqidah akhlak education curriculum in shaping the istiqamah character of elementary school students at the stage of learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation? This research uses a qualitative approach. This type of multi-site study research is chosen to provide a search for the proposed research problem. Data collection techniques were carried out by 1) in-depth interviews, 2) participant observation, and 3) documentation. The data were analyzed with an interactive model consisting of data condensation, data display, conclusion, and verification. Data validity checking is based on four criteria: degree of trust (credibility), degree of transferability, degree of dependability, and degree of certainty (confirmability). The results of this study were found (1) the concept of the aqidah akhlak education curriculum in shaping the istiqamah character of elementary school students at the learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation stages in two Islamic elementary schools in Situbondo and (2) implementation of the aqidah akhlak education curriculum in shaping the istiqamah character of elementary school students at the stage of learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation in two Islamic elementary schools in Situbondo.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of (a) Can the application of the Demonstration method improve the learning outcomes of Friday Prayer material for class IV students at SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi (b) How can the application of the Demonstration method improve the learning outcomes for Friday Prayer material for class IV students at SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi? The results of this research are (a) To describe the process of implementing the demonstration method in improving student learning achievement in PAI subjects on Friday prayers at SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi. (b) To prove whether the application of the demonstration method in learning PAI Friday prayer material can improve learning achievement in class IV students at SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi. Each round consists of four stages, namely: Planning, Action, observation and reflection. The target of this research is class IV students for the 2023-2024 academic year. The data obtained is in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the analysis results, it was found that student learning achievement increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely, pre-cycle (30%), cycle I (65%), cycle II (90%). The conclusion of this research is that efforts to increase learning achievement in Islamic jurisprudence on the main subject of Friday prayers through the demonstration method in class IV students at SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi, Ampelgading District, Malang Regency are increasing. Therefore, we need an innovative way of packaging learning in delivering learning to students. One of them is by demonstrating or giving examples and carrying it out together so that students experience the experience of praying directly with the guidance of the teacher, and to strengthen their memorization of the prayer readings which are programmed before study time starts regularly together reading the prayer readings starting with intention, takbiratul Ikhram to greetings, this is done every two days alternating with reading juz Amma. Abstrak Penelitian ini berdasarkan permasalahan (a) Apakah penerapan metode Demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar materi Shalat Jumat peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi (b) Bagaimana penerapan metode Demonstrasi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar materi Shalat Jumat peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi Sedangkan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (a) Untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan metode demonstrasi dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI materi shalat Jumat di SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi. (b) Untuk membuktikan apakah dengan penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran PAI materi shalat Jumat dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar belajar pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu : Perencanaan, Tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Tahun pelajaran 2023-2024. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes formatif, lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dari hasil analis didapatkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus II yaitu, pra siklus (30%), siklus I (65%), siklus II (90%). Simpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa Upaya Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar Fikih Materi Pokok Shalat Jum’at Melalui Metode Demonstrasi Pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Sonowangi Kecamatan Ampelgading Kabupaten Malang meningkat. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu cara mengemas pembelajaran yang inovatif dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran ke siswa. Salah satunya adalah dengan mendemosnstrasikan atau memberi contoh dan dilaksanakan bersama-sama sehingga siswa merasakan pengalaman melaksanakan shalat secara langsung dengan bimbingan guru, dan untuk memperkuat hafalan bacaan shalat di programkan sebelum jam belajar dimulai secara rutin secara bersama-sama membacara bacaan shalat mulai niat, takbiratul ikhram sampai dengan salam, hal ini dilaksanakan setiap dua hari sekali bergantian dengan membaca juz Amma.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the dynamics of the relationship between Kiai and santri in traditional pesantren. This research deconstructs the relationship between Kiai and Santri in the Indonesian socio-cultural context. Through a critical approach, this research examines the dynamics of power and cultural influences that color the relationship. Using a case study, this research reveals the complexity of the Kiai and Santri relationship that goes beyond the traditional teacher-student relationship. The research aims to unpack the assumptions underlying this traditional relationship, as well as reveal the power structures and cultural dynamics that exist. Through qualitative methods, data was collected from in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results show that the relationship between Kiai and Santri in traditional pesantren is built on the basis of strong religious and cultural values. Kiai holds a central role as a spiritual leader and teacher, while Santri places themselves as obedient and respectful students. This relationship is characterized by a clear hierarchy, where Kiai has great authority and influence over both Kiai and santri. Then the relationship between Kiai and Santri is not only hierarchical, but also complex and dynamic, with the negotiation and resistance of santri to the kiai's authority. Santri, who are often positioned in subordinate power (Patron-Client), demonstrate the ability to negotiate their identity and space within the pesantren structure. This research highlights the importance of understanding this relationship in the broader context of social and cultural change, and encourages the reconstruction of a more equal relationship between kiai and santri. The findings contribute to the study of Islamic education and social dynamics in Indonesia, and open space for discussion on the redefinition of Kiai according to relevant pesantren education reviews.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the tahlilan tradition in Islamic education in Suka Jaya Village. Tahlilan, a local religious ritual for praying for the deceased, holds significant informal educational value for the community. The research shows that through tahlilan activities, the community, particularly the younger generation, learns Islamic teachings such as tauhid (the oneness of God), aqidah (faith), and akhlaq (ethics). In addition to serving as an educational medium, tahlilan also strengthens social bonds and solidarity among the village residents. This tradition reflects a form of acculturation between Islamic teachings and local culture, which has long developed in the archipelago. Despite facing challenges from groups opposing this practice, the majority of Suka Jaya residents continue to uphold tahlilan as part of their religious and social identity. The findings of this research affirm that tahlilan is not only a spiritual ritual but also plays significant social, moral, and educational roles in shaping the Islamic character of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of character values ​​in the learning process at SD Negeri 2 Jatipunggur and its contribution to the formation of student character. This study is based on the importance of character education as an effort to produce students who are not only academically superior but also have strong morality and integrity. Character education in this school focuses on values ​​such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, cooperation, and tolerance, which are integrated into the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and through the role models of teachers and school staff. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques refer to the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the integration of character values ​​is carried out through collaborative and participatory learning that encourages students to be active, work together, and support each other. Extracurricular activities such as scouts, sports, and arts also strengthen the formation of student character. In addition, teachers and staff act as role models who provide real examples of behavior that reflect these values. These findings are expected to be a reference for the development of character education programs in other schools with similar contexts.

Abstract

Pembaharuan dan perkembangan dalam dunia pendidikan merupakan suatu keniscayaan yang tidak dapat dihindarkan lagi. Oleh karena itu dalam proses pendidikan era modern ini banyak sering sekali terjadi perubahan baik dari aspek metode pembelajaran, kurikulum maupun Teknik dalam mengajar. Tentu hal ini tidak bisa lepas dari pengaruh tokoh gagasan filsafat Islam yang menjadi salah satu sumber inspirasi bagi para pemikir modern. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkorelasikan antara perkembangan filsafat islam dan pendidikan era modern serta menganalisis kontribusi pemikiran filsafat islam yang berpengaruh pada pendidikan era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data metode library reseach atau studi pustaka. Dari pembahasan hasil yang ditemukan ialah adanya korelasi antara perkembangan filsafat islam dan pendidikan era modern dan juga pemikiran para tokoh dari filsafat islam yang berpengaruh pada pendidikan era modern sehingga masih relevan diimplementasikan hingga saat ini.

Abstract

Education plays a fundamental role in shaping students' character and competencies to face global challenges in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 eras.  This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Rahmatan Lil Alamin project module in Akidah Akhlak learning at MTsN 5 Blitar and evaluate its impact on students' character development. The background of this research is based on the importance of character education rooted in Islamic values in addressing the challenges of globalization, particularly in overcoming the decline in students' character index due to the lack of an applicative approach in religious education.This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, involving teachers, students, and school management as primary sources. The findings indicate that the internalization of Rahmatan Lil Alamin values is carried out through a module design that balances cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Implementation is conducted in a block system after the mid-term exam and through a co-curricular approach that connects learning with religious activities and social projects.The analysis results show an improvement in students' character, particularly in aspects of compassion, tolerance, and social awareness. However, several challenges remain, such as differences in students' levels of understanding and the influence of external environments. This study is expected to provide recommendations for educators and policymakers to enhance the effectiveness of Islamic values-based education in madrasahs.

Abstract

Accreditation is a crucial indicator of quality assurance in educational institutions, ensuring compliance with national and international academic standards. It serves as formal recognition of an institution’s commitment to excellence, providing credibility and fostering continuous improvement. UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has consistently pursued the highest accreditation standards, as evidenced by several study programs achieving superior ratings and the institution’s continuous efforts toward international certification. However, achieving and maintaining superior accreditation requires a well-structured and strategic approach. This study aims to develop and analyze a strategic planning model to optimize the accreditation process and strengthen the institution’s global reputation. Employing a qualitative research method with a bibliographic review approach, the study adopts the strategic management model by David F.R., which comprises five key stages: initial assessment, situational analysis, strategy formulation, implementation, and monitoring. This comprehensive model ensures a systematic and structured approach to accreditation, enabling institutions to align their strategies with accreditation requirements effectively. The findings indicate that this integrated model significantly enhances accreditation management by providing a clear roadmap for institutions to follow. Moreover, it introduces an innovative framework by combining established strategic planning principles with customized measurement tools, ensuring that accreditation processes are both efficient and sustainable. As a result, this approach not only facilitates the achievement of superior accreditation but also strengthens UIN Malang’s position as a leading Islamic higher education institution with a vision of international excellence. This study offers valuable insights for higher education institutions striving for quality assurance, accreditation optimization, and global recognition.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of two teaching methods in the Al-Qur'an memorization program at SMAN 1 Ngimbang Lamongan, namely the sorogan and musyafahah methods, and their impact on the accuracy and speed of students' memorization. The background of this study is based on the importance of effective teaching of Al-Qur'an memorization in the context of religious education in Indonesia, where the method used can affect students' success in memorizing. Previous studies have shown the effectiveness of the sorogan method, but few have examined the contribution of the more interactive musyafahah method. The research method used is a qualitative case study approach with observation and in-depth interview techniques. Data were collected from students who participated in the Al-Qur'an memorization program using both methods. Data analysis was carried out thematically to assess the differences in the effectiveness of the two methods in improving the accuracy and speed of memorization. The results showed that the musyafahah method, with direct interaction between students, teachers, and classmates, had a more significant impact on accelerating the memorization process and improving the accuracy of students' memorization compared to the sorogan method. These findings emphasize the importance of active involvement in learning, which is in line with constructivist learning theory. However, challenges related to time constraints and varying student motivation were also found to be major obstacles to the success of the memorization program. The implications of this study suggest that a combination of both teaching methods, with an emphasis on social interaction, can optimize the memorization process. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective and relevant Qur'an memorization teaching methods in the context of education in Indonesia. In conclusion, this study suggests further research with larger and more diverse samples to deepen the understanding of the factors that influence students' memorization success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi pemikiran pendidikan Ibnu Sina, khususnya metode targhib wa tarhib dalam konteks penerapan disiplin positif di Ma'had Al-Hikmah MAN 1 Gresik. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah strategi yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah dan pengurus Ma’had dalam mengimplementasikan metode disiplin positif untuk membentuk karakter dan moral santri di era Society 5.0. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan metode studi lapangan, yang meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan sebanyak lima kali untuk menilai aktivitas santri serta interaksi antara pendidik dan santri. Wawancara dilakukan langsung dengan lima narasumber, termasuk kepala sekolah dan pengurus Ma'had yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data mengikuti model Miles dan Huberman dengan penerapan triangulasi untuk menjamin validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepala sekolah dan pengurus dalam menerapkan metode disiplin positif efektif dalam membangun karakter dan moral santri, sejalan dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan Ibnu Sina yang menekankan kasih sayang dan pemahaman karakter individu. Ma'had Al-Hikmah berupaya menciptakan generasi muda yang mampu menghadapi tantangan digital dengan integritas dan rasa tanggung jawab yang tinggi. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang lebih baik dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam mengenai integrasi nilai-nilai moral dalam pendidikan modern.
