Abstract

The Independent Curriculum was inaugurated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in February 2022. It was determined that there are several things that must be prepared before learning, after that implementing independent curriculum learning, implementing learning differentiation and assessment. This research aims to determine and describe the planning, implementation and evaluation in implementing the Independent Curriculum in Indonesian language subjects at Muhammadiyah Rappang Middle School. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques, namely observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is a qualitative data analysis technique with stages of data reduction analysis, data presentation, and drawing up conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of their curriculum in terms of learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation in Indonesian language subjects at Muhammadiyah Rappang Middle School has been implemented well and sustainably. However, there are still obstacles in every challenge faced by research objects in implementing Indonesian language learning based on an independent curriculum, such as limited teaching facilities, limited infrastructure and internet access for students, difficulties adapting to the different characteristics and dialects of students who are already inherent, limitations a time when learning was project-based, limited experience and references to differentiated learning models, and initial assessment paradigms that were not yet appropriate.

Abstract

Stunting remains a persistent problem in Tanah Toa Village, where high rates of growth faltering are closely linked to inadequate maternal parenting practices related to nutrition, hygiene, and health care. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between maternal parenting patterns including feeding practices, psychosocial stimulation, hygiene practices, environmental sanitation, and health service utilization and stunting among children aged 24–59 months in Tanah Toa Village, Bulukumba Regency. This cross-sectional study involved 111 mother–child pairs, with data collected from October to November 2020 using structured questionnaires and anthropometric measurements. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test and binary logistic regression using SPSS version 26.0. The results showed significant associations between stunting and hygiene practices (p = 0.003), environmental sanitation (p = 0.000), health service utilization (p = 0.049), and overall maternal parenting patterns (p = 0.000). Multivariate analysis identified maternal parenting patterns as the most dominant factor influencing stunting (p = 0.010; OR = 0.124; 95% CI = 0.03 to 0.62). Children raised by mothers with good parenting practices were 0.124 times less likely to experience stunting compared to those raised by mothers with poor parenting. These findings highlight that comprehensive parenting which involves nutrition, hygiene, and health care plays a critical role in preventing stunting. Interventions should integrate nutrition education, maernal empowerment, and culturally grounded health promotion to accelerate stunting reduction at the community level.

Abstract

Studies on the Living Qur’an in pesantren mostly emphasize exegetical, aesthetic, and functional aspects, with limited attention to how Qur’anic meaning emerges through lived experience. Prior research has also not examined how spiritual and socio-economic engagements with the Qur’an extend beyond Rafiq’s typology. This gap underscores the need to reassess Qur’anic reception through a phenomenological lens. This research examines the dynamics of Al-Qur'an reception in pesantren by expanding A. Rafiq's typology—which includes exegesis, aesthetics, and functional—through two new categories: eternal and economic reception. The study aims to reconstruct and enrich the Living Qur'an framework through daily practices in pesantren with different characteristics. Langitan Islamic Boarding School and al-Muhibbin Jatirogo Islamic Boarding School, Tuban were selected because they represent the two main pesantren models in Indonesia: salaf and modern. Langitan is known as a historical salaf pesantren that maintains classical methods such as sorogan, bandongan, and halaqah, along with a strong emphasis on classical texts and established traditions. Meanwhile, al-Muhibbin represents a modern pesantren with a collective management system, an integrated curriculum, and programs to strengthen foreign languages. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with Edmund Husserl's phenomenological analysis. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that in a Husserlian phenomenological view, Qurʾānic reception in pesantren is seen as an intentional act of consciousness in which meaning emerges through lived experience rather than mere interaction with the text. Within this process, the Qurʾān functions as a dynamic noema shaped by communal practices and pedagogical structures, generating forms such as divine blessing, spiritual nobility, legitimized authority, and economic value. These findings show that Qur’anic meaning in pesantren is shaped through embodied practice and economic engagement. Further research may examine how these dimensions interact in pesantren and wider Muslim communities amid digitalization and modern educational reforms. Penelitian tentang Living Qur’an di pesantren selama ini lebih banyak menekankan aspek eksegesis, estetis, dan fungsional, sementara perhatian terhadap bagaimana makna Al-Qur’an terbentuk melalui pengalaman hidup masih terbatas. Kajian sebelumnya juga belum menelaah bagaimana keterlibatan spiritual dan sosial-ekonomi terhadap Al-Qur’an melampaui tipologi Rafiq. Kesenjangan ini menunjukkan perlunya meninjau kembali resepsi Al-Qur’an dengan perspektif fenomenologis. Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika resepsi Al-Qur’an di lingkungan pesantren dengan mengembangkan tipologi A. Rafiq—yang mencakup resepsi eksegetis, estetis, dan fungsional—melalui penambahan dua kategori baru, yaitu resepsi eternal dan resepsi ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merekonstruksi dan memperkaya kerangka Living Qur’an melalui praktik keseharian di pesantren yang memiliki karakteristik berbeda. Pesantren Langitan dan Pesantren al-Muhibbin Jatirogo, Tuban dipilih karena mewakili dua model utama pesantren di Indonesia, yakni salaf dan modern. Langitan dikenal sebagai pesantren salaf bersejarah yang mempertahankan metode klasik seperti sorogan, bandongan, dan halaqah, serta penekanan kuat pada kitab-kitab tradisional dan tradisi keagamaan. Sementara itu, al-Muhibbin merepresentasikan pesantren modern dengan sistem manajemen kolektif, kurikulum terpadu, dan program penguatan bahasa asing. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis fenomenologi Edmund Husserl. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pandangan fenomenologi Husserlian, resepsi Al-Qur’an di pesantren dipahami sebagai tindakan kesadaran intensional, di mana makna muncul melalui pengalaman hidup, bukan semata-mata interaksi tekstual. Dalam proses tersebut, Al-Qur’an berfungsi sebagai noema yang dinamis, dibentuk oleh praktik komunal dan struktur pedagogis, sehingga memunculkan bentuk-bentuk seperti berkah ilahi, kemuliaan spiritual, otoritas yang dilegitimasi, dan nilai ekonomi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa makna Al-Qur’an di pesantren terbentuk melalui praktik keagamaan yang dihayati secara langsung dan melalui keterlibatan ekonomi komunitas. Penelitian lanjutan perlu mengkaji lebih jauh interaksi antara dimensi ekonomi dan transendental dari resepsi Al-Qur’an di pesantren maupun masyarakat Muslim yang lebih luas, khususnya dalam konteks digitalisasi dan kebijakan pendidikan modern.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of restorative justice in Qur’anic jinayat verses (QS. Al-Baqarah 178-179; Al-Maidah 45) through a tafsir tarbawi approach and the Aswaja Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) theological framework within pesantren character education. Employing a mixed-methods Design with 71 respondents 45 from the general public and 26 NU pesantren education experts this study reveals three significant findings. First, islah (reconciliation) and diyat (compensation) are reinterpreted as theological foundations of Islamic restorative justice within pesantren contexts. Second, the NU character education model, based on al-muhāfaẓah ’alā al-qadīm al-ṣāliḥ (preserving valuable traditions) and al-akhdh bi al-jadīd al-aṣlaḥ (adopting beneficial innovations), creates a natural ecosystem for restorative practices. Third, the principle of maqāṣid syarī’ah functions as a harmonizing axis between local ’urf values and global restorative justice norms. Theoretically, the study constructs a Restorative Justice Theology integrating Bayani (textual) and Burhani (rational-contextual) epistemologies characteristic of NU pesantren education. Practically, it provides an operational model for transforming qishāṣ from retribution to restoration, institutionalizing ṣulḥ (reconciliation) in conflict resolution, and aligning character education with SDGs Goal 16 on peace and justice.

Abstract

Pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas guru di harapkan dapat menguasai media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi , sangatlah penting di miliki oleh guru saat ini dalam meningkatkan kualitas serta mutu pembelajaran. Asosiasi Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) PAI Sangatta Kutai Timur dalam memperkuat dan meningkatkan kompetensinya mengadakan pelatihan/workshop yang di harapkan dengan pengetahuan media pembelajaran yang interaktif berasis teknologi, guru dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya dalam berinovasi memberikan materi pembelajaran kepada siswa yang lebih menarik sehingga siswa lebih semangat dalam belajar di era teknologi saat ini. Metode yang diberikan yaitu demontasrasi yang langsung di praktikkan oleh pemateri maupun guru agar dapat langsung menerapkan dan mengaplikasikan ke dalam muatan mata pelajaran PAI. Dari hasil pelatihan/workshop tersebut dapat disimpulkan guru dapat menerapkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi penggunakaan aplikasi canva, quizizz, kahoot dan pengelolaan google dalam mengelola administrasi pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran PAI di sekolah. Abstract

Tuberkulosis adalah penyakit yang di sebabkan oleh infeksi Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Penyakit ini merupakan penyebab kematian kedua dengan cara menular. Berdasarkan pencatatan petugas Puskesmas Buludoang Kecamatan Bangkala Barat Kabupaten Jeneponto, diketahui terdapat 41 orang yang telah dinyatakan menderita Tuberculosis dari Bulan Januari hingga awal Bulan September tahun 2018. Perencanaan media komunikasi kesehatan membutuhkan analisis komunitas dan kebutuhan, karena setiap wilayah memiliki kebudayaan dan kebiasaan yang berbeda. Ketepatan merancang media memberikan pengaruh bagi kesadaran penderita TB dan masyarakat. Apabila digunakan secara tepat, komunikasi kesehatan dapat mempengaruhi sikap, persepsi, kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan norma sosial yang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan disain fenomenologi. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara mendalam dan diskusi kelompok terarah (DKT). Informan adalah penderita ataupun keluarga penderita TB Paru, serta petugas kesehatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara : 1. Observasi partisipasi; 2. Wawancara mendalam; 3. Diskusi Kelompok terarah. Cara pengambilan informan dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan penelitian, diperoleh beberapa hasil sebagai berikut; 1). Masyarakat memahami bahwa TBC adalah penyakit yang menular melalui percikan dahak dan udara,  disertai gejala suhu badan meningkat selama beberapa hari. TBC juga dipercaya mengakibatkan nafsu makan semakin berkurang, turunnya berat badan, susah tidur dan menyebabkan kematian. 2). Kelemahan media saat ini yakni dari segi gambar dianggap menakutkan dan diskriminatif, serta tidak terdistribusi ke tengah masyarakat. 3). Media yang diinginkan informan yakni media elektronik dengan alasan bisa melihat gambar, mendengar suara dan dapat memberikan hiburan.

Abstract

Ergonomics is an important aspect in creating a safe, comfortable, and productive work environment, but is often overlooked in the informal sector, such as motorcycle repair shops. BPJS Employment data shows a significant increase in work accident cases in Indonesia, reaching 370,747 cases in 2023. One of the biggest contributors is work-related muscle and skeletal disorders (Musculoskeletal Disorders/MSDs), which are often found in jobs with non-ergonomic postures. Research Objective: To identify ergonomic hazards faced by motorcycle repair shop workers in Maricaya Selatan Village. Research Method: The research method employed in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach with an observational research design to identify ergonomic hazards among motorcycle repair shop workers in Maricaya Selatan Village. Research Results: Shows that the informal sector such as motorcycle repair shops face significant ergonomic hazards, but are often not handled systematically due to limited facilities and low worker awareness of the importance of ergonomics, the results of the REBA assessment show high (48.6%) and very high (45.7%) occupational hazards, 48.6% of respondents are in the category "changes must be made immediately", and 45.7% are in the category "action must be taken immediately", based on the NBM assessment 77.1% of respondents stated that the work layout was inappropriate, and 11.4% stated that it was very inappropriate.

Abstract

Adolescent mental health is a growing public health concern, particularly in school environments where students experience significant academic and social pressures. Limited mental health literacy among adolescents may increase vulnerability to stress, anxiety, and emotional problems, which can adversely affect learning achievement and psychological well-being. This study presents a community-based empowerment approach by utilizing leaflet media as an educational intervention to improve mental health literacy among adolescents. The objective of this study was to analyze the mental health situation of adolescents and to evaluate the effectiveness of leaflet-based mental health education as a community empowerment strategy at SMP Negeri 1 Tapalang. A quasi-experimental method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design was applied. The participants consisted of 30 junior high school students. The intervention involved structured mental health education delivered through leaflet media. Data were collected using a validated knowledge questionnaire and analyzed using statistical software, including the Shapiro–Wilk test for normality and the paired sample t-test for comparison. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ mental health knowledge following the intervention. The mean pre-test score increased from 56.40 to 78.90 in the post-test, with a statistically significant result (p < 0.05). These results indicate that leaflet-based education is an effective and practical medium for enhancing adolescent mental health literacy and supporting community empowerment initiatives within the school setting.

Abstract

This study aims to mapping research, key contributors, collaboration patterns, and the thematic structure of digital literacy research in the context of language education within the Scopus database during the 2015–2024 period. The study employed a quantitative bibliometric approach with a descriptive exploratory design. Data were collected through searches of titles, abstracts, and keywords using a combination of terms related to digital literacy and language education, resulting in 277 documents. Publication metadata were exported and analyzed using VOSviewer to generate network maps of authors, institutions, countries, and keyword co-occurrences. The findings indicate that publication output increased sharply after 2020 and reached its peak in 2024. The most productive authors were Kohnke, Moorhouse, and Tour, while the leading institutions were dominated by Monash University and The Education University of Hong Kong. Geographically, the largest contributions came from Spain, the United States, and Australia, with increasing participation from Indonesia. The thematic analysis produced seven major clusters highlighting online learning, teachers’ digital competence, multimodality, mobile-based learning, and the integration of artificial intelligence in language learning.

Abstract

Scholarly discourse on the permissibility and governance of expiatory sacrifice (dām) for ḥajj tamattuʿ in Indonesia continues amid rapidly evolving social and regulatory contexts. Existing studies are largely dominated by normative fiqh arguments and administrative policy considerations, while integrated analyses combining contextual Qur’anic exegesis, socio-legal perspectives, and maqāṣid al-sharīʿah remain limited. Addressing this gap, this study critically reassesses the coherence between Qur’anic norms, evolving interpretive frameworks, and contemporary policy implementation concerning dām for ḥajj tamattuʿ. This study employs a qualitative, library-based approach by analyzing key Qur’anic verses on ḥajj tamattuʿ through Abdullah Saeed’s contextualist interpretive framework and evaluating them using maqāṣid al-sharīʿah as a tool of critical legal reasoning. The normative findings are then examined in relation to socio-legal realities, including fatwas, state regulations, and institutional practices governing ḥajj administration in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. The findings indicate that the obligation of dām for ḥajj tamattuʿ is not intrinsically confined to the Haram area but is context-dependent in terms of location, timing, and distribution, provided that its core spiritual objectives and public welfare considerations are fulfilled. Consequently, this study argues that cross-border regulatory coordination constitutes a normative implication of the dynamic relationship between Qur’anic injunctions, ritual practice, and contemporary ḥajj governance.
