Abstract

The influence of information technology influence on the development of social and cultural values ​​maja labo dahu (fear and shame) in young children. The purpose of this research was to assess the role of families and schools in instilling the values ​​of Social Culture on the social behavior of teenagers in the village of Soki, Belo subdistrict, Bima, West Nusa Tenggara. The method used is qualitative. Informants in this research is a family, a teacher at the school, teens, and communities. The technique of collecting data through observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data in this research using the technique of triangulation, triangulation method, and triangulation theory. The research result menunjuhkan role of the family in instilling the values ​​of diverse social and cultural forms, there are families who just instilling the values ​​of social and cultural limited to providing advice and does not give an example of good behavior, close supervision and not impose penalties if a child violates the values ​​that exist in society, the role of schools in imparting social values ​​culturally diverse, they instill social values ​​through the culture of the classroom learning activities. Public role in instilling social values ​​of culture in young children there is a declining trend in giving sanction to the adolescent who commits an offense priceless-owned social-cultural values ​​in society. Abstract

Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the use of gadgets from parents. This study aims to analyze and examine the use of gadgets, parental supervision in the use of gadgets, and the impact of using gadgets on children's social behavior in Semata Village. This study uses qualitative research methods that are processed with an interactive model of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the use of gadgets among elementary school children/equivalent dominant for entertainment purposes, junior high school students/equivalent for entertainment purposes and occasional hobbies of formal interests, while high school/equivalent children for entertainment, hobby, and formal purposes. The role of parents in supervising the use of gadgets among elementary school children/equivalent by requiring a time limit for the use of gadgets and sites used. In Junior high school/equivalent level with the provision of intensity limits for gadget uses. Senior high school/equivalent children are through supervision that is not curbing the children. The impact of the use of gadgets on children's social behavior is the children are accepted in the community, friendly attitude when greeting each other around people, the attitude of associating children through activities of gathering children especially with peers, as well as children's sympathy arises to chat each others.

Abstract

Modern information technology with various types and forms and facilities has been developed in many urban and rural areas. The tendency of adolescents to imitate the various information that can be obtained from technology. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) utilization of information technology by youth Pekuwon village, Pati regency, (2) parental supervision on the use of information technology by adolescents in Pekuwon village, Pati Regency, (3) changes in adolescent behavior in connection with information technology in Pekuwon village. The location of this research is Pekuwon village Juwana sub-district. This research uses qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that information technology in Pekuwon village trends are used for entertainment and support learning. There are 4 categories of families in providing youth supervision: (1) the family category that provides strict supervision, with an educated family background that cares for youth development, (2) the family categories that do not provide supervision (release) of adolescents with poor educated family background who are less concerned about adolescents, (3) the family category that provides supervision on certain things such as study time and prayer time, with educated family background that has been flexible in understanding the development of the times, (4) the family category that carries out supervision is an appeal, with the background as the village party who cares about adolescent development. Changes in adolescent behavior after the existence of information technology in Pekuwon village in the form of positive or negative behavior. The changes are categorized into 3 types, namely: shifts in cultural values, shifts in religious values, and asocial. This proves the truth of the theory of the arena-habitat of Piere Bourdieu.

Abstract

The interaction among Javanese, Arabic and Chinese students at SMP Negeri 2 Pekalongan requires the role of family and school in creating a harmonious atmosphere amid social media hoax information. This study aims to analyze the role of social media, family, and school in building Indonesian values. This research was conducted qualitatively with a phenomenology approach. Research data sources were students, parents, curriculum representatives, and social studies teachers. The technique of collecting data was through interviews, observations, and study documents that tested their validity through source triangulation techniques. The results of the study indicate that social media was used by students to add insight into Indonesian cultures, such as learning traditions from other regions so that they can appreciate differences. Parents took a role in building Indonesian values ​​through application in daily life, such as teaching the children to respect and tolerate people from other ethnicities or religions; for instance, respecting their neighbors from other religions to carry out their worship. School took a role in building the Indonesian value of children through school programs such as program smile, greet, salutation, polite and courteous. This program requires the students to be friendly and polite to anyone in the school environment.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the character education implementation in the fourth-grade thematics learning of primary schools. This research applies a descriptive qualitative method. The technique of collecting the data is purposive sampling. The subjects consisted of SD Islam Al Madina, SDN Petompon 01, and SD Marsudirini. The techniques for collecting the data were deep interviews, observation, and documentation. The techniques of the data validity were a source and method triangulation. The findings showed the character education on thematic learning of the fourth graders of the schools had been promoted by integrating the character values in three stages. They were planning, acting, and evaluating. Each stage had different activities and internalized different character values. They were adjusted with the specific features, vision, mission, and objectives of the schools. The implications of this research are to describe the ways to implement character education in thematic learning at Primary Schools. Thus, the character values could be internalized well for the students during the classroom learning activity.

Abstract

The low economy is the reason for mothers to work abroad, which reduces the quality of parenting in the family. The research objective was to determine social life, economic life and parenting styles. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this study are; upper class families, 2) Middle class families, 2) and Lower class families, 2). The result is, (1) Social life from the aspects of education, lifestyle and moral behavior runs well, while lower class families are not taught morally, (2) Economic life includes income from trade and labor and is used for consumption needs and children's schooling. needs, (3) Parenting is done by showing positive behavior, organizing activities and advising children. Meanwhile, lower class family care is not carried out. Family social life is based on the economic abilities and knowledge of parents. Economic life is a source of income from various assets and professions and income is used for secondary and primary needs. Parenting is correct, but the care scheme for lower-class families is hampered because parents earn a living outside the home.

Abstract

Starting from the concern of rampant conflict of identity differences today. The character of the coastal community who is firm, tough and open to access will easily accept the development of knowledge, technology and differences. The diverse ideologies of the Banyutowo people does not rule out the effect on the split. The cultivation of values ​​and norms are the role of the family arena, considering that the family is the first and foremost agent of socialization for children. The role of the family arena in the habituation of pluralism is an urgent matter that can be inherited to Banyutowo youth as the nation's successor. The purpose of this research were to analyze the role of the family arena in the habituation of pluralism values ​​in adolescents and to identify the implementation of adolescent social behavior. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation study. Then followed by a qualitative descriptive data analysis following the concept of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that Muslim families, GITJ Christians and Bethany Christians played two roles, that are providing knowledge and evaluation, but those roles were not maximal for adolescents whose parents worked as fishermen, due to the intensity meeting that rarely. Meanwhile, the habituation of family pluralism values ​​in the social behavior of Muslim adolescents, GITJ Christians and Bethany Christians includes: prioritizing the tolerance value, prioritizing the mutual respect value, prioritizing the life pride value in plurality, prioritizing the high social value ​​and promoting the togetherness value in social relationships. With the habituation process, the value of pluralism in the family is expected that Banyutowo adolescents have positive social behavior as a provision in understanding plurality.

Abstract

Sejarah berdirinya surat kabar Suara Merdeka di Semarang, tidak terlepas dari surat kabar terdahulu yang pernah terbit di Semarang. Suara Merdeka di Semarang pada awalnya didirikan oleh Hetami, yang dulunya merupakan wartawan dari beberapa surat kabar di Semarang. Hetami mendirikan Suara Merdeka pada 11 Februari 1950, yang bertepatan pada masa Orde Lama. Suara Merdeka di Semarang berawal sejak tahun 1950an. Perusahaan surat kabar Suara Merdeka awalnya merupakan perusahaan surat kabar harian yang hanya mampu mencetak beberapa eksemplar koran saja. Karena keuletan dan kecakapan di dunia jurnalistik pendiri perusahaan surat kabar Suara Merdeka, perusahaan ini semakin hari semakin mengalami peningkatan dari segi produksi dan perekonomiannya. Akan tetapi perjalanan perusahaan surat kabar tidak selalu mulus tetapi ada hambatan serta rintangan yang menjadi ujian didalam kemajuan perusahaan Suara Merdeka. Hambatan tersebut adalah di antaranya dengan adanya berbagai aturan tentang pers yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah, selain itu juga rintangan yang dihadapi Suara Merdeka adalah dengan adanya krisis yang melanda Indonesia. Dengan keuletan dan kemampuan di bidang juranalistik dan terobosan-terobosan pemegang kekuasaan di Suara Merdeka, maka rintangan tersebut mampu dihadapi dan Suara Merdeka dapat bertahan dan berkembang dengan berbagai rintangan tersebut dan menjadi salah satu surat kabar terbesar di Jawa Tengah, dan mampu eksis sampai saat ini.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui latar belakang berdirinya pondok pesantren Al-Fatah Banjarnegara, Mengetahui perkembangan dan sistem pendidikan pondok pesantren Al-Fatah Banjarnegara tahun 1941-1992, untuk mengetahui peranan dan pengaruh pondok pesantren Al-Fatah bagi masyarakat sekitar dalam perkembangan pendidikan dari tradisional menuju modern tahun 1941-1992. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah, yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu: heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi.

Abstract

Surakarta merupakan wilayah sebagai tujuan migrasi orang-orang Tionghoa dimasa lalu, orang-orang Tionghoa datang ke Surakarta dengan tujuan untuk berdagang. Salah satu akibatnya adalah meningkatnya potensi ketegangan hubungan antar etnis di Surakarta. Konflik rasial di eks-Karesidenan Surakarta ini sudah terjadi sejak jaman penjajahan Belanda. Pada masa Orde Baru saja sudah terjadi tiga kali kerusuhan berskala besar yang terjadi pada tahun 1972-1998. Peristiwa rasial anti Tionghoa di Kota Surakarta ini memiliki faktor pemicu kerusuhan berskala kecil yang menjadi karakteristik unik yang mampu menyebabkan kekacauan sangat besar dan sangat serius. Faktor pemicu konflik di Surakarta pada tahun 1972-1998 yaitu terbentuknya mobilisasi massa, konflik individual serta aksi mahasiswa. Di bawah pemerintahan Orde Baru, ketegangan antara orang Cina dengan penduduk pribumi terus tumbuh sebagai akibat dari melebarnya jarak antara yang kaya dan yang miskin serta upah rendah yang diberikan kepada pejabat birokrasi, militer dan polisi.
