Abstract

Creative thinking is a skill that students must have in the 21st Century. This study aims to identify research trends on creative thinking in primary schools, the types of qualitative research used, countries that frequently publish on creative thinking, journals with the highest SJRs publishing creative thinking, researchers who frequently research creative thinking in primary schools, what elements are frequently implemented in creative thinking in primary schools and creative thinking frameworks from 2013-2024. The review procedure included searching, screening, evaluating and synthesizing publications on creative thinking in primary schools. There were 50 articles published in Scopus indexed popular journals. The analysis reveals prominent journals such as Thinking Skills and Creativity and British Journal of Education Technology, and identifies key researchers contributing to the field. The study highlights the frequent use of qualitative methods such as descriptive qualitative, case studies, phenomenology, grounded theory, and ethnography, across various countries including Slovenia, Malaysia, and the UK. What types of qualitative methods are used in applying creative thinking skills in elementary schools, namely descriptive qualitative, case studies, phenomenology, grounded theory, and ethnography.

Abstract

Pendidikan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Kurikulum Merdeka hadir sebagai inovasi pendidikan yang memberikan fleksibilitas, mendorong kreativitas, dan kemandirian peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di kelas III SDN Wiroborang 1 Kota Probolinggo, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan efektivitas metode pembelajaran yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pendekatan kooperatif dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Namun, ditemukan kendala berupa keterbatasan sarana, kesiapan guru, dan variasi kemandirian siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan secara formatif dan sumatif secara fleksibel. Diperlukan pelatihan guru, peningkatan infrastruktur, dan kerja sama antar pihak agar Kurikulum Merdeka dapat diterapkan secara optimal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a thematic-based classroom model in grade V at Tisnonegaran 1 Elementary School in Probolinggo City. This research and development method used Borg & Gall, which had adapted and consisted of (1) confidential information, (2) planning, (3) product development, (4) expert validation, (5) field trials, (6) final products. The results of the study showed that the learning technology expert validation reached 97.2%, the linguist's validation result showed 90.6%, and the result of the field trial that used readability test met 92.8%. The product of the thematic-based classroom model in primary school has a strong level of validation and a high level of openness. Suggestions for further development can use different classes and levels. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan model ruang kelas berbasis tematik di sekolah dasar di kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Tisnonegaran 1 di Kota Probolinggo. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan Borg & Gall yang diadaptasi menjadi 6 tahap yaitu: (1) informasi rahasia, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan produk, (4) validasi ahli, (5) uji coba lapangan, (6) produk akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validasi ahli teknologi pembelajaran 97,2%, validasi ahli bahasa 90,6% dan uji coba lapangan dari tes keterbacaan 92,8%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa produk pengembangan model ruang kelas tematik di sekolah dasar memiliki tingkat validasi yang kuat dan tingkat keterbukaan yang tinggi. Saran untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dapat menggunakan kelas dan level yang berbeda.
