Vitamin D atau “sunshine vitamin” menjadi salah satu mikronutrien penting yang telah diketahui berfungsi penting dalam pencegahan penyakit, khususnya penyakit paru. Sinar matahari sebagai sumber utama vitamin D sangat melimpah di Indonesia. Sayangnya, beberapa populasi khusus seperti santri di pondok pesantren masih beresiko mengalmi kekurangan vitamin D karena kurangnya intensintas paparan matahari, asupan vitamin D rendah, hingga pakaian yang menutupi terpapar sinar matahari. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengenalkan penggunaan suplemen Vitamin D pada kesehatan Paru di PP. Hidayatulloh Al Muhajirin Bangkalan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dalam mengolah data kuesioner. Mitra PKM terdiri dari 71 santri dan santriwati Hidayatulloh Al Muhajirin Bangkalan. Kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil Uji T test berpasangan pengetahuan santri, diketahui nilai rerata pre-test (67) berbeda signifikan dengan nilai post-test (93) dengan P<0,05. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pemberian penyuluhan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan santri mengenai Vitamin D. Kesimpulan yang didapat adalah santri mampu memahami peran dan manfaat vitamin D setelah diberikan penyuluhan, sehingga diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hariannya dan terhindar dari penyakit paru.

The purpose of this community service activity is to helpincrease the intensity of additional lighting in each work unitthat is still low in lighting intensity. The implementationmethod in this activity starts from a site survey, coordinationwith related parties such as the Surabaya city health officeand the local health center as the coordinator of theoccupational health post. Then measure the intensity oflighting and increase additional lighting on work units withless lighting intensity. The measurement results in all workunits obtained an average lighting intensity value of 107 lux(standard 500 lux). After installing additional local lighting,the results obtained are the intensity of the lighting with anaverage of 928 lux. When viewed from the measurementresults before and after local lighting was installed, there wasan increase in lighting intensity. After the intervention withthe installation of local lighting there was an increase in theintensity of the lighting in accordance with the standardlighting for the type of sewing work. This condition needs tobe maintained so that workers feel comfortable andcomplaints of eye fatigue can be minimized. In addition, it isnecessary to measure periodically to ensure the intensity ofthe lighting is in accordance with the standard.

Islamic boarding schools are one of the educational institutions that have a risk of danger, because in their activities they always use tools and materials to support the teaching and learning process and energy sources that can cause danger. Energy sources such as electricity, LPG gas and chemicals, if not properly managed, can pose a risk of fire. Fire is the most frequently encountered disaster and can be classified as a natural disaster or a disaster caused by human actions. The danger of fire can occur at any time and at any time, resulting in a lot of material, environmental, financial, equipment and human losses. Based on a survey conducted at the location, the knowledge and skills regarding handling emergency conditions, especially fires, have not been mastered by Islamic boarding school administrators and students. The aim of this community service activity is to overcome the fire disaster at the Assalafi Al-Fithrah Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya. The solution provided is to provide disaster mitigation material to Islamic boarding school administrators and students in the Assalafi Al-Fithrah Islamic Boarding School environment in Surabaya and fire prevention training using a light fire extinguisher. The activity was held on Thursday 6 July 2023 with 27 participants consisting of 25 students and 2 boarding school administrators. The results that have been obtained from this activity are that the participants' knowledge about disaster mitigation in Islamic boarding schools has proven to have increased, the skills of Islamic boarding school administrators and students in extinguishing fires using light fire extinguishers have also been achieved.

Migrants seeking asylum in Indonesia are a vulnerable group who need attention and training regarding disaster emergencies. This is because Indonesia is a maritime country which geographically and geologically allows natural disasters to occur. Although aid supplies are very important in emergency situations, preventive measures and preparedness are also equally important so it is necessary to provide health services in the form of expertise in disaster emergencies for migrants. Disaster emergency management efforts are a system that cannot be divided and the quality of life of patients after a disaster injury depends on pre-hospital stage treatment. The aim of this activity is to increase understanding and empowerment by provide outreach and training for migrants living in Sidoarjo. Before counseling, a 10 minutes pre-test was conducted for the participants. followed by a counseling session, training and discussion session for approximately 60 minutes, and after that a post-test was carried out for 10 minutes. Next, the results of the pre-test and post-test are assessed and data processing and evaluation are carried out. The results of the Paired T-tests show a p-value of 0.00 so the sig value is <0.05 which indicates there is a significant difference regarding the pre-test and post-test data. This can be interpreted as an increase in insight, understanding, empowerment, as well as a change in attitude towards migrants after attending the counseling session. Community service activities regarding disaster emergencies for migrants living in Sidoarjo have had a significant impact in the form of increasing insight and empowerment regarding the topic of disaster emergencies.

Background: Infection prevention around health care facilities is one of the efforts to minimize infection in patients, officers, visitors, and communities. One of the efforts to prevent infection is to apply standard precautions. Purpose: To determine the effect of organizational factors on the level of compliance of health workers in implementing standard precautions. Method: There were 83 respondents. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The dependent variable is the level of compliance with the application of standard precautions. The independent variables are policies, procedures, facilities, training, monitoring, and safety climate. Data analysis using correlation test and regression test to determine the effect between variables. Result: There was a relationship between facilities and the level of compliance (p = 0.030), there was a relationship between training and compliance (p = 0.027), there was a relationship between the safety climate and the level of compliance (p = 0,009). The influence test shows that the climate safety factor (p = 0.007) and facilities (p = 0.020) have a significant effect on the level of compliance. Conclusion: There is a relationship between facilities training and safety climate with the level of compliance of officers in the application of standard precautions in hospitals. The factor that most influences the level of compliance with the application of standard precautions is the safety climate.

Pemenuhan aspek Pertolongan Pertama pada Kecelakaan (P3K) dalam Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di tempat perusahaan merupakan komponen vital dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan responsif terhadap keadaan darurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi program P3K di berbagai perusahaan, menilai kesesuaian dengan peraturan yang berlaku, dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pelaksanaannya. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan metode wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung di beberapa perusahaan dari berbagai sektor industri. Fokus penelitian mencakup ketersediaan dan kelengkapan kotak P3K, pelatihan karyawan dalam menangani situasi darurat, serta prosedur dan kebijakan perusahaan terkait P3K. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya peran manajemen dalam memastikan ketersediaan dan pemeliharaan kotak P3K. Selain itu, regulasi yang ketat dan inspeksi rutin oleh pihak berwenang sangat diperlukan untuk memastikan kepatuhan perusahaan terhadap standar P3K. Potensi bahaya di tempat kerja dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi kecelakaan kerja adalah dengan adanya P3K di tempat kerja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan menggunakan penelitian cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. X. Pendataan sesuai dengan Peraturan Mentri Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi No. 15 Tahun 2008 dengan menggunakan lembar observasi (check sheet). Penerapan P3K PT X disarankan agar perusahaan dapat melakukan pemeliharaan yang lebih baik, melakukan pencatatan untuk memeriksa kotak P3K dan isinya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemenuhan aspek P3K yang efektif pada PT X masih belum terpenuhi secara sempurna sesuai Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Nomor : PER.15/MEN/VIII/2008.

Potential hazards in the workplace can result in work accidents and occupational diseases. One of the controls against work accidents is the availability of first aid kits in the workplace. The type of research used is descriptive observational research using cross sectional study research. This research was conducted at PT X in June 2023. The population of this study were 24 workers at PT. X. Data collection using observation sheets (Checklist Sheets) guided by the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia No. 15 of 2008 concerning first aid in accidents in the workplace. The requirements for first aid officers at PT X are still not implemented, there should be 1 first aid officer at PT X because it has more than 24 workers and has a mild risk of work accidents in accordance with the regulations set by the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration No. 15 of 2008. Completeness of t h e first aid facility, such as the first aid room at PT X is not available, the contents of the first aid box do not meet the standards, the placement of the first aid box is not clearly visible, the red first aid symbol should be green. There is no means of transportation (ambulance) and shower in additional facilities. The implementation of First Aid at PT X is not appropriate. Therefore, it is recommended for the company to conduct socialization to workers, increase maintenance and create a logbook to monitor first aid kits and their contents, add a map to the first aid kit and the contents of the first aid kit. find out the location of the first aid kit at PT X.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, computer vision syndrome (CVS) caused by the implementation of online learning was an inevitable effect. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of using the Eye Care and Eye Pro Protect Your Vision applications as a step to treat and prevent the severity of CVS. A total of 16 students who participated in virtual classroom learning (81.20% female, 87.50% laptop users with heavy duration, 93.70% experienced CVS) were included. The most frequent symptom in CVS subjects was eye pain (96.5%), while the most intense symptom was a feeling of double vision (15.9%). The use of applications can significantly reduced the duration of laptop use (p=0.025) using the Mc Nemar test. The Eye Care application reduced symptoms by 75%, while the Eye Pro was 62.5%. The Eye Care application can provide a decrease in the duration of screen time and provide rest time for better eyes. Recommendations for preventing CVS based on causal factors can be adjusted to reduce the burden of online study, increase rest time and use screen time reminder applications.

Latar Belakang: Sosialisasi penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) di CV. Ultra Engineering Surabaya adalah untuk mencegah kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja (PAK), mengingat tingginya risiko akibat ketidakpatuhan terhadap penggunaan APD. Tujuan: Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman pekerja tentang pentingnya APD. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sosialisasi diikuti dengan pengujian pemahaman pekerja sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil: Pada pretest menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 92,7 poin, sedangkan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dengan rata-rata 97 poin. Kesimpulan: Peningkatan ini membuktikan bahwa sosialisasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran pekerja terhadap penggunaan APD. Dengan demikian, sosialisasi ini dapat mengurangi kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja.

Industri logam sangat penting untuk membuat berbagai produk, tetapi juga menimbulkan risiko serius bagi kesehatan pekerja. Bahaya dalam industri ini meliputi paparan bahan kimia beracun, debu logam, dan potensi cedera fisik. Logam berat seperti timbal, merkuri, dan kadmium dapat menyebabkan keracunan, gangguan sistem saraf, dan kanker. Debu logam dari proses pengolahan dan pengelasan dapat menyebabkan gangguan pernapasan. Kecelakaan kerja menjadi perhatian, terutama yang berkaitan dengan alat berat dan peralatan listrik. Langkah-langkah pencegahan, seperti alat pelindung diri dan prosedur kerja yang aman, sangat penting untuk meminimalkan risiko kesehatan. PT Elang Jagad, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan logam, mengambil langkah-langkah untuk mengidentifikasi bahaya dan risiko kesehatan di antara para pekerjanya serta mempromosikan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja melalui materi pendidikan dan diskusi. Langkah-langkah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pekerja akan bahaya dan risiko kesehatan sedang dievaluasi melalui wawancara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Sangatlah penting untuk memprioritaskan kesehatan dan keselamatan dalam industri logam untuk memastikan kesejahteraan pekerja dan produktivitas secara keseluruhan
