Abstract

SOCIALIZATION OF THE USE OF MUSEUMS AS A SOURCE OF LOCAL HİSTORY LEARNİNG FOR HİSTORY TEACHERS İN PONTİANAK CİTY. Based on the team's observations that have been stated above, the team feels it is important to carry out socialization activities regarding the use of museums as a source of learning local history to history teachers. So that this museum can be one of the interesting learning experiences in history learning. The expected objectives of this program are as follows: (1) The history of the establishment of the West Kalimantan Museum. (2) Implementation of the use of the West Kalimantan Museum as a source of local history by history teachers throughout the city of Pontianak. And (3) To find out the efforts of the museum and teachers in utilizing the West Kalimantan Museum as a source of learning local history by history teachers throughout the city of Pontianak. The target community involved in the implementation of this activity are all teachers of history subjects in the city of Pontianak. The location for the implementation of the activity is planned in the West Kalimantan Museum Hall in Pontianak City. This activity is carried out through lecture and discussion methods. As a result of this activity, participants consisting of history teachers were able to understand the material regarding the use of museums as a source of learning local history in improving student learning activities in history subjects. The understanding of the participants (teachers) was shown through their enthusiasm in discussing and asking questions about the socialization material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the history and development of the hanging puppet tradition in Singkawang City. This research is basic research. Qualitative data collected mainly in the form of words. To answer how the history and development of the hanging puppet art in Singkawang City, the informants who will be used as resource persons are Singkawang local traditional arts figures. In addition, it also utilizes the literature or the results of previous research. This interactive analysis technique has three components of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The result of this research is that the Hanging Puppet in Singkawang City became known in the early 20th century. The character who first introduced the wayang hang art in Singkawang City was Ajo or A Jong. The Chinese community in Singkawang City usually knows the hanging wayang with the term Chiao thew hi which comes from the Hakka language (Khek). The love of the people of Singkawang City for the art of wayang hanging began to increase rapidly in the 1960s. The large number of associations or groups of wayang hang artists in Singkawang City is one of the characteristics of the golden age of wayang hanging.

Abstract

Kota Pontianak memiliki kain bercorak khas yang berupa tenun corak Insang sebagai identitas budaya yang harus dikembangkan dan dilestarikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji perkembangan dan pelestarian tenun Corak Insang khas kota Pontianak. Tenun Corak Insang merupakan kain yang mengandung nilai budaya yang tinggi sejak zaman Kesultanan Pontianak dan harus dilestarikan keberadaanya. Perlunya perluasan fakta-fakta menarik terkait perkembangan dan pelestarian tenun Corak Insang secara luas sejak dahulu hingga sekarang demi terjaganya keberadaan tenun Corak Insang agar terus dikreasikan, dicintai dan diminati oleh generasi ke generasi. Metode yang digunakan penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif. Sedangkan sumber data terdiri atas data primer yaitu hasil wawancara dan pengamatan proses pembuatan tenun serta kunjungan museum, data sekunder diperoleh dari arsip gambar dan informasi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Awalnya tenun Corak Insang hanya digunakan oleh kalangan bangsawan di istana Kadriah Pontianak saja. Sebagai lambang identitas bangsawan atau status sosial pada suatu kelompok. Baik dari segi penggunaannya, pembuatan maupun perkembangan dari segi coraknya yang saat ini semakin beragam dan terus dilestarikan oleh masyarakat Melayu kota Pontianak. Disimpulkan bahwa perkembangan dan pelestarian tenun corak insang sudah mengalami inovasi dan kreasi yang lebih baik dengan tetap memertahankan nilai dan tampilan yang khas agar tetap eksis sebagai hasil dari tangan produksinya serta penggunaannya tidak terbatas hanya golongan tertentu saja.   The city of Pontianak has a distinctively patterned cloth in gill pattern weaving as a cultural identity that must be developed and preserved. This study examines developing and preserving the Pontianak City-style woven corak insang. Weaving with gill patterns is a cloth that has contained high cultural value since the time of the Pontianak Sultanate, and its existence must be preserved. It is necessary to expand on interesting facts related to the development and preservation of corak insang weaving from ancient times until now to maintain the existence of gill pattern weaving so that it continues to be created, loved, and in demand by generations. The method used is qualitative research through a descriptive approach. The data sources consist of primary data, namely the results of interviews and observations of the process of making weaving and museum visits, and secondary data obtained from archives of images and information. Data collection techniques were done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Initially, the nobility only used the corak insang weaving at the Kadriah Pontianak palace. As a symbol of the identity of nobility or social status in a group. Both in terms of its use, manufacture, and development in terms of styles, which are increasingly diverse and continue to be preserved by the Malay community of Pontianak City. It was concluded that the development and preservation of gill pattern weaving had experienced better innovation and creation while maintaining a distinctive value and appearance so that it continues to exist due to its production hands, and its use is not limited to specific groups only.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the early history of the formation of the Kuda Kepang Barongan culture, the views of the community on culture and the impact and existence of the Kuda Kepang Barongan culture in Pontianak by the Margo Tresno Association, the methods used were observation, in-depth interviews with informants, the results, the traditional art of Kuda Kepang Barongan that grows and develops in Pontianak City thanks to the Margo Tresno Association is evidence of the acculturation of Javanese ethnicity in Pontianak. Obtained were early history Initially, the existence of the Kuda Kepang Barongan culture was sparked by the Margo Tresno Association which wanted to maintain the existence of Javanese ethnic culture in Pontianak. The community's view of this culture was welcomed by the artists with the presence of horse braid players who were not only from Javanese ethnicity but other ethnicities also participated. the cultural arts of the barong braid horse further enrich the culture in the city of Pontianak in particular, this is in accordance with the characteristics of the city of Pontianak which has a variety of cultures and ethnic groups which is commonly called multicultural. As a source of social studies learning, namely maintaining the existence of local wisdom culture and material for social interaction and cultural history in Pontianak.

Abstract

This observe goals to determine the usage of teachers in using the media documentary movie records beangkaet in gaining knowledge of history, the planning process, instructor implementation in the use of documentary film media records belakkaet in studying history, and the limitations felt via the teacher inside the use of historic documentary movie media beangkaet on gaining knowledge of history, in magnificence XI IPS 2. The research method used is descriptive with a shape of qualitative studies. The facts assets for this research had been history instructors and students class XI IPS 2. The region of this research is at SMAN 1 Simpang Down circulate that's on Jalan Pramuka, Teluk Melano, Kec. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out information about the perceptions of class XI IPS MAN Singkawang students towards historical sites of the Dutch colonial government in Singkawang. The research method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Research subjects consist of 3 classes namely class XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2, and XI IPS 3. Researchers conducted interviews, observations, and documentation in the data collection method stage. Then perform data analysis techniques through the steps of data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions as well as data verification. In increasing students' understanding of the Dutch colonial government sites in Singkawang City. The teacher's efforts have been to deliver local history material on historical sites of the Dutch colonial government in Singkawang to students in class XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2, and XI IPS 3 and give assignments to report to students to visit historical sites of the Dutch colonial government in Singkawang. The results showed that the use of historical sites of the Dutch colonial government in Singkawang in history subject matter at school could be used as a source of local history learning, making students enthusiastic about learning history, because they could see evidence of historical relics or historical sites of the Dutch colonial government in Singkawang. add insight into local history to students, who lack knowledge of local history in the area. Adding to the curiosity of students, which adds local material to history learning material in schools can attract the attention of students in learning history.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berisi tentang analisis Efikasi Diri peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sejarah dikelas 11 IPS 1 SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Tujuan penelitian, Mengetahui penyebab kurangnya Efikasi diri peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Sejarah di SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Mengetahui cara guru menumbuhkan Efikasi diri pada peserta didik dikelas XI IPS 1 di SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi Efikasi diri peserta didik dikelas XI IPS 1 SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, dimana terdiri dari 5 subjek yang pertama guru mata pelajaran sejarah SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak dan 4 peserta didik kelas 11 IPS 1. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ini terdiri dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sementara Teknik analisis data terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, yang terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Efikasi Diri para peserta didik bisa dipengaruhi mulai dari kegagalan peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, guru juga beperan penting dalam menumbuhkan Efikasi Diri peserta didik mulai dari memberikan motivasi, nasihat dan saran agar peserta didik menjadi semakin percaya diri akan kemampuannya dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, faktor yang mempengaruhi Efikasi Diri peserta didik juga berasal dari teman didalam kelas ketika teman berhasil ataupun gagal akan berdampak pada Efikasi Diri peserta didik

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejarah transmigrasi di Dusun Setalon, Desa Belitang 2, Kecamatan Belitang, Kabupaten Sekadau pada tahun 1993-1997. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah dengan lima tahapan yang pertama pemilihan topik, kedua heuristik, ketiga verifikasi, keempat interpretasi dan yang kelima penulisan sejarah. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa Dusun Setalon Desa Belitang 2 merupakan salah satu lokasi penempatan transmigrasi yang ada di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia. Dahulunya Dusun Setalon merupakan Unit Permukiman Transmigrasi (UPT) XL Belitang Hulu Kabupaten Sanggau, memasuki tahun 2003 barulah terjadinya pemekaran Kabupaten Sekadau dari Kabupaten Sanggau berdasarkan UU No 34 Tahun 2003. Kedatangan masyarakat transmigrasi di Dusun Setalon dimulai pada tanggal 17 Oktober 1993 sampai dengan 1 Desember 1993 dengan pola Perkebunan Inti Rakyat (PIR) Transmigrasi. Penduduk transmigrasi di Dusun Setalon pada awal kedatangannya tahun 1993 sebanyak 350 KK yang terdiri dari 1.541 jiwa, dengan rincian Asal Penduduk Transmigrasi (TPA) sebanyak 175 KK atau 636 jiwa dan Penduduk Transmigrasi Setempat (TPS) sebanyak 175 KK atau 905 jiwa. Ketika masyarakat transmigrasi tiba di Dusun Setalon maka terdapat hak-hak yang akan diperoleh diantaranya adalah satu buah rumah ukuran 6x6 meter, lahan seluas 2,5 Ha/KK, jaminan hidup/jadup selama 12 bulan, alat pertanian dan fasilitas-fasilitas umum. Setalah melewati proses yang cukup panjang pada tanggal 26 Februari 1997 Dusun Setalon dibawah naungan UPT XL Belitang Hulu diserahkan kepada Kepala Desa Belitang 2,Kata kunci :Transmigrasi, Dusun Setalon, Masyarakat

Abstract

This research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to investigate the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations of X-grade Social Sciences students and identify obstacles in the history learning process. The study is conducted at Santun Untan Pontianak High School, located in Pontianak City, specifically at Jl Daya Nasional, Komp Untan, Bansir Laut, Pontianak Southeast District. The data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, utilizing observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation as the tools. Data analysis involves data reduction, presentation, and inference. The findings reveal that the intrinsic and extrinsic learning motivations of X-grade Social Sciences students are influenced by the abilities of both teachers and students. The research concludes that: 1) The intrinsic motivation of X-grade Social Sciences students demonstrates a lack of passion, desire for success, drive, and future aspirations in history learning. 2) The extrinsic motivation of X-grade Social Sciences students indicates that despite interesting learning activities, rewards, and a conducive learning environment, students are not adequately motivated. 3) The obstacles in the history learning process are primarily attributed to the insufficient facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah Bagaimana kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik sebelum menggunakan problem based, observasi ini memakai metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan true experimental design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode tes, metode pengukuran, metode observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis instrumen penelitian,analisis data awal, analisis data akhir. Kelas XI IPS 2 menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah untuk menguji kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa memenuhi standar, dengan skor awal 65,74. Dari hasil ovservasi diketahui kelas percobaan mencapai nilai individu dan ketuntasan klasikal, beserta proporsi siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM melebihi 85%. Menganalisis hasil tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan memakai mean uji beda dua ????ℎi????????????g ekprimens dendan nilai = 80,00 sedangkan ????ℎi????????????g control = 75,00, ????ℎi????????????g ekprimens =80,00 > ????ℎi????????????g control =75,00 Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran ekspositor.
